Paris Watercolor Workshop – Signature Edition

An excellent introduction to watercolor painting and great for those who may have more experience in watercolors or other mediums. Artem was a thoughtful, patient and skilled instructor. He was delightful to work with and gave us good directions. Though I’m skilled at oil painting, my watercolor experience is more limited. I found myself learning new ways to paint. My daughter was new to watercolor and was able to participate easily and successfully. Definitely worthwhile.

This was a wonderful painting adventure in Paris! Artem was a wonderful teacher, although he'll tell you, he's not a teacher, he's an artist. From zero experience to lots of experience l, you will enjoy this adventure.

Magnifique! This was such an incredible experience. My 10-year-old daughter wants to be an artist when she grows up, and she loved this activity. Artem was wonderfully kind l, encouraging and patient, explaining everything thoroughly. We went home with a framed, original art piece that we have hanging at home. I would recommend this to people of all ages!

This was so much fun, I did it with a friend and we had such a great time! The instructor was awesome and we both learned a ton and got a pretty cool painting to take home!

Artem is an EXCELLENT instructor! I went with my 12 yo son and we both enjoyed the unique experience of painting on the Seine. Artem carefully explained each step and was very patient. Everyone came out with a beautiful piece! Wonderful!!!

What a wonderful experience on the Siene, with Artem your instructor, and create a memory that you can hang on the wall. Artem provides everything you'll need with quality brushes, paints, and paper. He also provides the guidance to take what you see and put it on paper. More important, Artem's easy going nature is encouraging, not intimidating.

A fantastic way to spend the afternoon enjoying a beautiful setting and learning about watercolor painting. We went with our daughter who really enjoys art. Artem made us feel at home and set the tone for a fantastic experience. So glad the canvas was pre-sketched with the Petite Palace facade so we could jump right into painting. I have not painted since middle school. Shocking how good our paintings turned out!

Had a wonderful afternoon in the park water coloring the petit palais. Artem was patient and wonderful guiding me through the process and now I have a wonderful souvenir that I will be proud to hang in my home. I cannot recommend this unique experience enough!

This was my 1000% favorite thing I did in Paris. Our teacher, Antom (spelling?! Not sure!) was super professional and just a delight to learn with. He was well prepared, made sure we each had what we needed, and really took his time to help us gain new watercolor skills. He had an architecture background, and his love of using color and the watercolor medium was easily contagious. We were all beginners, and he made sure we all felt great about our work and the process itself. Could not recommend higher! I’m pretty sure every trip I now take I will have to include some kind of art class. I now have the best souvenir I could ever have!:)

One of the most unique and wonderful experiences I’ve had in Paris! I’ve lived in Paris for 2.5 years, so I’ve done a lot in the city, but nothing like Artem’s class. Painting out in the city, capturing a beautiful moment in time, and having a piece of Paris to hang up at home. Artem makes sure that no matter what artistic experience you have, that you feel comfortable and leave with a gorgeous painting. He’s very patient and a pleasure to learn from. Can’t recommend this experience enough whether you live in Paris or are just visiting!

Very well done. Very well set up. Excellent materials. The teacher was very knowledgeable and gave me several excellent tips to improve my technique. The teacher, the duration of the class and the quality of supplies were well worth the cost of the class.

Painting with Artem was so amazing! I was a bit intimidated thinking about the class but Artem was great, so patient, so informative, so professional and so friendly. He explained every step. We came home with a very pretty painting of the Musee d’Orsay!

Thins was an iconic experience . I found this on trip advisor and took a chance and booked .. Artem, was the instructor and there were a total of 4 participants , supples , easels , location all set up and ready to go, by the Seine .. he not only helped us techniques on a basic sketch he provided — but encouraged our artistic eye and emotions —- at the end he said “we are all Paris artists now!” … he genuinely enjoyed our water colors and very encouraging … an unbelievable experience !

I had a wonderful experience learning watercolor techniques, The artist was patient, talented and an excellent teacher. There were 4 total in the class and we each received individual attention. As a beginner painter, it was a great experience…no pressure and lots of fun. The fee was reasonable. We were lent everything including paints and easels and even given a frame for our finished masterpiece. You just arrive and have a great time.

It’s very well organized and well thought out with every detail. Arthem is so kind and cares about what, how and who he is teaching. He explains things well and is very patient. It was such a great experience.

This was a wonderful experience for our family of four on our trip to Paris! Artem was so thoughtful in how he crafted the workshop and all of us learned a lot about the art of watercolor. An absolute highlight of our trip, our middle school aged kids loved it and we returned home with framed watercolor paintings of the Musee d’Orsay!

First, my host was a very nice person. I enjoyed spending time with him. He also was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge in a way that was understandable to me as a beginner. He saw colors that I would never have imagined without his guidance. This was an exceptional afternoon for me.

I attended this watercolor workshop with absolutely no prior experience in drawing or painting, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Artem is clearly very passionate about his art, and that enthusiasm makes the whole session both inspiring and enjoyable. What impressed me most was his patience and the way he guides beginners step by step without making it feel intimidating. Even starting from zero, I felt supported throughout the process. By the end of the workshop, I had created my very first watercolor piece—something I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to do. It was a very rewarding and relaxed introduction to watercolor, and I would highly recommend the workshop to anyone curious about trying painting for the first time.

We had such an incredible afternoon by the Seine. Artem gave such clear instruction and made it easy for us all to follow along, but also add our own creativity to our water color paintings. I’ve been to Paris multiple times and this truly is one of my favorite experiences, and that I get to reflect on it every time I look at my painting created from the workshop. Would highly recommend to groups and solo , such a friendly and fun atmosphere. And a great way to get see Paris from a new and creative perspective.

As a photographer, I had the opportunity to attend this watercolor painting experience, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the instruction. Artem is sache a sweet person, he demonstrates outstanding pedagogy: explanations are clear, well-structured, and accessible to all skill levels. He takes the time to work with each participant individually, offering precise guidance and thoughtful corrections without ever being imposing. His technical mastery is evident, yet it is always dedicated to helping others progress. The atmosphere is both focused and relaxed. Participants quickly feel at ease and are guided with genuine care from the first brushstroke to the final details. There is a strong sense of attention to quality and craftsmanship throughout the session. Each student leaves with their watercolor beautifully framed, proud of what they have created. I hadn't done anything artistic in a long time but the location on the banks of the Seine, facing the Musée d'Orsay, on a sunny early autumn afternoon was inspiring. The time flew by because I was so engrossed in the lesson - I asked lots of questions too & learnt lots! I didn't need to take anything with me, everything was supplied & I walked away with a finished, framed picture. Artem's patience and positivity really gave me the encouragement I needed to complete my painting - thank you, I can't wait to take another art class!

I had a wonderful experience with Atelier CREEA. It was my first time doing watercolor painting and learning from Artem was a real joy. You can tell right away that he's very passionate about it, and it really brings the experience to life. I really enjoyed being outdoors in a beautiful park in Paris and learning something new. I really loved this timeless moment. The watercolor session was peaceful and instructive! Artem is a skilled, patient, and very gentle teacher. He taught us how to capture a beautiful view of the Pantheon, each according to our own sensitivity! Suitable for all levels… No need to know how to draw! He provided all the materials, as well as the framing for our watercolor. I left with my artwork under my arm… happy. I highly recommend it.

This watercolor workshop by the Seine on a sunny Wednesday morning with Artem was truly great! There were only three of us, and the conditions were ideal. I had very little experience, but that did not prevent me from being fully satisfied with the finished canvas thanks to Artem's valuable advice and patience. Whether you have a budding artist's soul or not, do not hesitate to sign up to experience something unique.
