This was a great experience for any seasoned shopper! The ability to have a private place to rest and use the bathroom, along with the help getting the VAT set up is wonderful. It’s important to realize that this is not a personal shopper experience, this is just set up to make your shopping a lot easier.

You can drop your bags in a beautifully appointed room and keep shopping. The d e tax experience was fast and vip ( meaning no need to wait in the general line) and they got a cab back to my hotel. Two incredible gentlemen even escorted me to the taxi … I didn’t even carry a single back

I had a deeply frustrating experience at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. I specifically asked multiple times for a jacket and jeans in size 8 years for my son, as I needed them for a special occasion. The staff assured me they had given me the correct size, so I trusted them and paid €475 for the jacket and €215 for the jeans. Upon returning to my country and having my son try the clothes on, I discovered they were actually size 6, despite the tags saying 8 years. The outfit didn’t fit, completely ruining our plans for the occasion. I sent the items back with a friend before the one-month return period ended, but the store refused to exchange them or issue a refund. To make matters worse, after I complained about their unprofessionalism, they blocked me from emailing them. This is beyond unacceptable for a store of this reputation. Poor customer service, lack of accountability, and zero effort to resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed and will not shop here again.
I decided to receive immediate cash refund at the Gallery. I received cash right on the spot with the condition that I will validate the tax refund form in the airport. I gave my passport and the operator in the gallery completed the form, smiling all the time. I was stupid not to check the form, because I was in a ruch to receive the money and go out of the store. When I presented the completed form in the airport it got rejected by the customer clearance because there were 10 mistakes in my passport details in the form. Neither my surname, passport number or birthday were correct. If it was only one mistake I could have thought it was an undesired human mistake, but with all the details written completely incorrect, it is clear that this was done on purpose and the operator knew in advance that there is no chance I will be left with my tax refund. If you decide to shop in GL, check all the forms they are giving you. Otherwise you will get cheated like me. It is really a shame for such respectable store!

This was a total let down and waste of money. The lounge was dingy the staff member was horrendously rude and didn’t even want to acknowledge the experience that was paid for. Whatever you do, do not book this as you will regret wasting your money on an experience that makes you feel worse than if you did nothing at all.

I have taken this experience before (Covid) and I really enjoyed myself. I did this time also, everyone was very nice and helpful. The only item which could be improved is lunch. It used to be in the mainstore and was a nice enjoyable sit down. Now, you have to cross street (it was cold) and get a prepackaged sandwich and a drink, sitting at a bar. Not enjoyable. Also, I wasn’t able to leave my coat at the concierge. But, the limo home was great and I was escorted to the limo. And, the forms for tax refund was a breeze. Yes, I would do it again and hope too.
My credit card had been debited on VAT amount by Galeries Lafayette although VAT form had been mailed out from Munich Airport. We mailed the VAT form with several friends form but there’s 2 people credit card debited again for VAT including me. Me and my friends immediately block our CC, we worry our CC had been scam in lavayette. I don’t understand why only our CC had been debited while we post it together. Be careful guys to shop in Lafayette because we’re not in Europe again we can’t do anything to get our money back
Interior of store will surprise you. Unexpected, shopping mostly high end. But seeing the store was beautiful. Also another roof to see views of the city.
This place is truly beautiful! The building itself is gorgeous. We spent a lot of money here and the fact you have to line up for some of the stores is a little off putting but once inside you get your own assistant to help you with whatever you like. They offer you wine or water or something to snack on. They help for as long as you need and they never rush you. The rooftop bar is great although a little too relaxed. More like a day club with phenomenal views. Pumping club music and relaxed young waiters float around mingling and working. Cocktails are great. Good spot to stop and put the feet up so you can keep shopping.
If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the experience. You go to the lounge, have a drink-champagne, coffee, soda, etc. Relax for a minute and go out to the magnificent Galeries Lafayette and shop to you drop. We explored the store, then went across the street to the Home Store. Just beautiful to walk around. Back to GL and to Angelinas for a delicious lunch. Little more shopping and back to the lounge. You get your tax refund info (bring passport) , so when you get to airport it’s easy. Then they bring a car and off to your hotel with all your goodies. Loved it.

Our last day in Paris was 43 degrees and did not want to be out and about all day but still wanted to do something! The shopping centre is magnificent as a building and the shops inside are plenty! If you want somewhere to go on a very hot day or even just to shop, this is a very good department store.
Everything over here is expensive and that's expected considering the designer brands that are sold here
I am one of the few women in the world who do not like shopping. However, this is a must see. The shopping area run from one building into an other, crossing a bridge over the road. Fantastic view at the main entrance. Look up! You can go and stand in the middle on level 3 to make pictures, but there is a queue. Only a few people at a time may stand on the platform. Highest level has a skybar. Roof terrace was closed when we were there. Water in the selfservice restaurant is free, so is the view and the use of the many - busy - toilets. Must see.
Phenomenal architecture, good shopping and range of products. We bought a nice bottle of perfume which was engraved for free!
First time to Paris and as such, first visit to Galeries Lafayette (Haussman). I'd seen videos of this experience on YouTube and was very enthusiastic about visiting the shops. Not only was I not disappointed, but I admit to being overwhelmed by all of the offerings. Plus, wherever we did stop to purchase something, the people helping us were exceedingly polite, helpful, efficient, and helpful. We lingered for quite a while in a viewing area where we could get a quick bite to eat/pastry, and watched the magnificent stained glass dome above us. We bought charming souvenirs for our family and friends, saw attractive items for sale everywhere, and certainly had a memorable afternoon. It was fun and wonderful, even if I consider five euros a bit much to pay for a kitchen magnet!
Enjoyed most of the tour especially the hospitality and the food experience. A lot of breeze in April, Paris is a gem. Would definetely come back!!!
<p>Wonderful service and beautiful lounge! Upon approaching the Concierge, I was immediately greeted warmly and ushered into the sophisticated and quiet lounge. I was soon served tea and cookies. The terrific concierge then processed my tax refund paperwork. I stayed there for nearly an hour and would have stayed longer if I didn't have back to back appointments. Was also given a Galeries Lafayette bag which doesn't seem to fit the style of the store. Plain and empty! Would have been nice if it was filled with a few samples of anything!</p>
<p>No-one at Galeries Lafayette seemed to know anything about where their Concierge Lounge was and when we did find it, it was simply a small but nicely furnished room with virtually no facilities other than a private bathroom. The TV screen wasn't working, nor was the music system and there were no pastries available as advertised. We managed to get a small bottle of orange juice each but there was very little choice just that or coffee. There was nowhere for us to store our luggage the main reason for booking the experience whilst e shopped so we had to spend almost an hour and thirty euros getting a taxi to and from Gare Du Nord in order to stash our two small travel cases in a storage locker there! Hardly value for money as we basically got a small orange juice each for our money with sit down for ten minutes very little else!</p>
<p>I was glad I booked this item. After a few hours at the Paris Galeries Lafayette I needed a break. It was nice to relax in a private lounge with either champagne, soda, water or juice and other snacks. Service was great, bathrooms modern and clean. It was nice to get s souvenir bag and other items. If you're going to be in Paris and have the opportunity to visit the Galeries Lafayette you'll be glad to take a break in a nice quiet lounge.</p>

I bought a pair of shoes here. The next day after seeing them tried for an hour I realized that they were too small and hurt my foot. I took them right back to the store. They didn’t want to refund them or even change them for me because I had already worn them (although it says 30 days on the checkout ticket).I end up with a pair of shoes for 200 € that I can’t put on. I highly recommend avoiding the intermediary Galleries lafayette which is a machine to scam people and going directly to the shops of the brands (saint street honored for the brand Autry). You will have a Customer Service equal to that.
I used it on December 28, 2019. I booked a Parisian shopping experience from Japan in advance. It was 89 € for two using a 10% off coupon issued by someone who blogs about Paris. I visited at 15:00 on December 28, in the middle of a strike. The designated location is Asian Languages: Meeting point at the Concierge on the 3rd Floor”, so I went to the 3rd floor, showed the coupon and they said it was the 5th floor. Is it because there are so many Chinese visitors? So far, there have been overseas productions, so I thought there was no choice. When we arrived at Le concierge on the 5th floor, we dropped off our coats, got an explanation from our sister, a friendly staff member, and got a coupon when we said we wanted to go to the cafe first. Now, I was told that I would try to go to the cafe, and that the concierge here would be available until 17:00! I've been doing all my other errands because I knew it was until 20:30 during business hours.... I think it was for the staff to go home because we were on strike, but we couldn't get through it. I regretted using this service at this point. I also thought it was a good deal to have each drink plus two cakes at ANGELINA, but I regretted that I should have mixed one with lunch and the other with a cafe because two sweet cakes were honestly hard to stomach in Japan. The cakes are impeccably good, but there’s so much fresh cream… One piece per person is enough. Regarding coupons, I presented them to the ANGELINA staff before ordering and had them recognized, and I presented them again at checkout and they could be used easily. Then I bought a bag and wallet on Celine. The older sister of the staff in charge at Celine was just kind enough to share my advice with other male staff and think with them. The service was as meticulous as if they were buying in Japan. I was told that I would follow you to the place for the TAX FREE procedure, but when I told you that I was using a concierge, you said that would be fine, so maybe you don't have to use the Parisian shopping experience if you have time. And then I walked around for about 30 minutes and went back to the concierge at about 16:40 to have the TAX FREE process done. However, I remained standing outside the concierge because it was the computer that was outside that was going through the procedure. Finally, when I asked for a taxi, they told me I couldn't because I was on strike, and they called to say they would try, but I couldn't get a taxi... This time, we used the service because our primary goal was not to walk around the pickpocketed streets of Paris with branded bags… It didn’t mean anything. We were also offered drinks on the concierge floor, but we didn't have until 5pm and we were very disappointed, so we said no. Only the toilets were available in the niceties of the private rooms. I used nerves to walk with my Celine bag to the hotel and was very tired. Even though you were still able to get 10% off using coupons, the service costs 10985 yen in Japanese yen.... It was very disappointing. ※Note※ From Gallery Lafayette who read this review two months later I received an apology and refunded half the service fee of 44€ for the taxi. I got it.

Lafayette is a beautiful and large department store. They have a lot of different brands, clothes and other stuff. The glass walkway is definitely recommended and the terrace on the 6th floor also gives a nice view of the city.
Buy in bulk because credit card benefits are easy to use and VAT processing is easy. After all, Vuitton is made to line up. You should check the benefits of the card carefully beforehand. There are many people.

Of Paris’ shopping sights, the visit was on the last day of the year, and the place was terribly crowded, especially the entrance, it’s considered a museum of the beauty of the building from the inside, and at the same time a shopping center of all kinds of French fragrances on the basement floor even the most expensive designer clothes at crazy prices, and there’s a restaurant and cafe on the basement floor, as well as a rooftop walk that reveals part of Paris.
