Itinerary
The Latin Quarter, on the left bank of the Seine, is one of the oldest and liveliest in Paris. Renowned for its academic and intellectual atmosphere, it is home to the Sorbonne, one of the world's most prestigious universities, as well as numerous bookshops, literary cafés and art cinemas. Its narrow streets, charming squares like Place de la Contrescarpe and bohemian atmosphere attract students, artists and visitors in search of an authentic, lively Paris. It's a place where history meets modernity, where tradition meets creativity.
The Arènes de Lutèce, located in the 5ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, are an ancient relic dating back to the 1st century AD. They were a Roman amphitheater capable of seating around 15,000 spectators. Used for gladiatorial combat and other public spectacles, they are one of the few remaining reminders of ancient Lutetia, the former name of Paris. Today, it's a public park, where you can still see the arcades and the shape of the circus. It's a tranquil spot in the heart of the Latin Quarter, combining history and relaxation.
Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, a jewel of Gothic architecture, is located on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris. Built between the XIIᵉ and XIVᵉ centuries, it is famous for its immense stained glass windows, particularly the rose window, its detailed carvings and its impressive towers. The interior houses a magnificent altar, sacred relics and a monumental organ. Although partially damaged by fire in 2019, Notre-Dame remains a powerful symbol of Paris's religious and cultural history. Its majestic architecture and spiritual atmosphere make it a must-see for all visitors
The Basilique du Sacré-Coeur, perched atop the Montmartre hill, is a Paris landmark, recognizable by its Romanesque-Byzantine architecture and immaculate dome. Inaugurated in 1919, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the capital from its forecourt. The interior houses one of the world's largest mosaics, depicting Christ in glory. Surrounded by the picturesque narrow streets of Montmartre, it is a place of meditation and a must-see for visitors in search of authenticity and Parisian charm.
The Opéra Garnier, a XIXᵉ century architectural masterpiece designed by Charles Garnier, is a symbol of Parisian pomp and elegance. Inaugurated in 1875, it captivates with its sculpture-adorned facade, majestic marble grand staircase and sumptuous auditorium, overlooked by the famous ceiling painted by Marc Chagall. A mecca for lyrical and choreographic art, it hosts prestigious opera and ballet performances. Its grandiose architecture and captivating atmosphere make it one of Paris's cultural gems.
The Eiffel Tower, the emblematic symbol of Paris and France, is a 330-metre-high wrought-iron structure designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition. Located on the Champ-de-Mars, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the capital from its three publicly accessible floors. Day or night, illuminated by thousands of lights, it embodies Parisian romanticism and elegance.
Les Invalides, located in the 7ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, is a monumental complex housing several historic buildings, including the Hôtel des Invalides, a former hospice for wounded soldiers, and the Dôme des Invalides, where Napoleon Bonaparte is laid to rest. Built under Louis XIV, the site is now a place of remembrance, with museums dedicated to France's military history, such as the Musée de l'Armée. The Dome, with its impressive golden dome, dominates the area, symbolizing both military grandeur and the tribute paid to the soldiers who fell for France.

Great tour and fun ride through the city. My mother has limited mobility, so this was a unique way for her to see parts of the city which otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to visit.
What an incredible experience!!! So much fun to see Paris via a side car! He stopped and took our picture in front to the Eiffel Tower! He was even kind enough to recommend local spots for us to try afterwards.
Great tour and worth every penny! Loved seeing the sites in such a unique way. Would highly recommend.
Visiting Paris? Spend a day our two in laid-back Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Versaille, and don't miss this tour. While my husband and I have been to both places, we craved a local's perspective and tips. Retro Tours was was a very cool way to see the cities. We went to the palace stables, by a beautiful lake, a real French market, antique shops, and more. At my request, we even stopped for a drink at a cafe. Julien was a fantastic tour guide and adjusted our tour to work around the Olympic flame, which was in both cities around the time of our tour. Say yes to this tour and you're guaranteed good vibes. I recommend touring when you first arrive to get the lay of the land. Then, you can go back and explore the places that interest you the most.
This was such a fun way to see all the sites in Paris on our first day! We loved Alan, our guide, and loved seeing everyone smile as we passed by. Alan was super informative while still letting us relax and enjoy. Would 1000% recommend this to anyone visiting Paris!
Don’t miss this wonderful experience . My husband and I booked two cycles so we could each be in a sidecar! We were the envy of all we passed on the streets. We chose to tour through the Montmartre streets around the arc de Triumph twice!!! Getting picked up at our hotel was so easy. Guides Martine and Ari were the absolute best. Besides being knowledgeable and interesting, they were charming ambassadors for Paris.
Had a great time with these guys. They tailor the trip so suit your needs and made it interesting and fun. Would definitely do this again but next time for even longer
Best experience ever! We only had a day in Paris and we fell in love with both the retro motorbike AND Paris! Roman was an amazing driver and guide, keeping us entertained with interesting facts and some sneaky snacks! Got to see all the significant sites we wanted to. Definitely one to put on your bucket list! Thansk Roman!
What a great way to see Paris and in vintage Style ! The whole experience was fantastic and Romain our driver was good fun and very informative Highly recommended
This tour was by far the best part of our whole trip not only did we get to see amazing sites but the tour was incredible Our driver alex really made the tour what it was as he was interesting and entertaining
Alex was amazing! Safe rider in the madness of Paris traffic. He is studying architecture and was so knowledgeable. He took us to all of the touristy places, but also showed us a few windows into everyday life. This is a thrilling way to get situated with Paris to get ideas where you want to go visit! 100% will go again.
Highly recommend! Do yourself a gift! Don't wait, do it on your first day in Paris. This is a return to childhood. A short trip in open kind of vehicle! Passers-by, cars near, everyone wave and smile to you. It's like two hours on the red carpet before getting an Oscar, but our prize is all of Paris. This is just pure delight and pleasure. Our driver was Julien with his Andrew the motorcycle. They were adorable. And his stories about Paris, about its people.
What a fantastic way to go round the Place de la Concord and Arc de Triumphe, passers by constantly waving and smiling, a great experience. Thanks
Authentic, intensive and informative tour around Paris. Really good and recommendable experience. Perfect to experience Paris in a different and present way. Thanks to Alan.
What a fabulous experience! Our guide Julien was great. The explanations and anecdotes about the city were very interesting. In addition, some good advice received (restaurants, views,...). Super safe and comfortable visit. What a pleasure to visit Montmartre (among others) like this. The place of the star is also great in sidecar! I advise everyone to live this unforgettable experience. Personally I have already advised my friends.
This has completed our two-day visit! Guide Julien is top. Very well informed, fun and handsome. The best! 😃
My lover and I are delighted with this superb moment spent with a guide at the top! To do and do again!!
