This tour was not what I thought it would be. It wasn’t really a tour at all. We met the tour guide at the meeting point (I don’t know his name, he never told us). He led us to the Eiffel Tower and left us there to manage navigating the tower. He gave us vouchers for the boat ride (which ended up working in our favor, since we weren’t able to do it the same day). Lunch was wonderful and the views were magnificent! The bus ride was terrific. Bus was empty we had so much room to move around. Again, we were not with a tour we were just on our own. The boat ride also not a tour. You need to find the port yourself and use the vouchers they gave you at lunch. Boat ride was excellent though.

Viator cancelled the booking last minute. Clients did not go on the safari despite booking early. We wish Viator communicated this early.
Eiffel Tower lunch was amazing, view was awesome! The Paris tour on the bus was poor. No narrative by the guide, it was downloaded and guide were say #6 on left, #23 on right etc. leaving out many things we wanted to know what is that building. The guide would respond I don’t know, YUK ! Need a knowledgeable person to add value to bus tour. The river cruise, full of hundreds of people, can understand the prerecorded information in both French and English. On River cruise expected the prerecorded information not on the city bus tour.
We booked this for the experience of lunch in the Eiffel Tower. Lunch was excellent and we enjoyed that part. The city tour was very disappointing. The commentary was via a download on our phones and was minimal. The tour guide told us what numbers to press and sometimes gave the wrong numbers. She was unable to answer questions about what we were seeing. The bus was filthy. The associated boat ride was ok with minimal narration.
Great way to see the main sights of Paris in 1 day! Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was splendid and we took the river cruise at sunset…the views of the city at night on the river were breathtaking! Highly recommend this day tour!
Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was memorable. Great service, a simple vegan meal available for us vegans, beautiful place.
This was a joke. Very little organization. All they did was give us a ticket for the river ride. Didn’t actually do it then. We didn’t even see our tour guide once we got to the Eiffel Tower. The bus ride was just ok. I could’ve done it all by myself without paying the tour company.
Nice bus ride with an experienced tour guide. Really nice lunch within the structure of the Eiffel Tower. The cruise was subject to whenever we wanted to go with a one year time limit on having the experience. Overall, highly recommended trip.
We were very disappointed with our bus tour. There was no narration of city sites in Paris and we were only given a very primitive map of our route. Viator usually provides a very good tour and this one was extremely disappointing as it was our first time visiting Paris.
Using Viator to “skip” the long lines to get into the Eiffel Tower was perfect. Lunch was excellent. The Seine River cruise not so perfect lots of people and lots of confusion
We had an amazing time, complete with plenty of photo ops and an amazing lunch of white asparagus, French octopus, and a yummy dessert. I’ve done this 3 times with a different delicious menu each time.
All the waiting time in line ups for Lunch Bus Tour and Seine boat cruise. We missed seeing 2 places of interest due to traffic at rush hour as the driver and guide were on a tight scheduler
Took the tour mainly for the tour of London and lunch at the Eiffel Tower. We got a short boat ride and lunch and the were told the bus tour of Paris was cancelled. We were told there was heavy traffic due to a farmers strike and to ask Viator for a refund. It was the chance to see all the cool stuff from the bus the got me to book in the first place. We got a refund for two people totalling $39. Thanks Viator.
We really enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower with great service and good food! The bus tour provided an easy way to see a lot of sites in a short period of time.
This was a bad experience. When we arrived, we were told that the river tour portion was cancelled. They gave no explanation why. The weather was fine, so I can only assume it was an error on their part. Then, the audio was not working on the bus. So, we drove around and saw sights, but were given no information about Paris by the guide. I requested a 50% refund from Viator but have not heard back almost a month later. Do not waste your money on this one.
Only rated a 4 because the tour company had the meeting time wrong on our confirmation. Well worth the wait. Excellent tour for the money and a great way to take in a lot of Paris in a short time.
Would have given a zero . The tour guide did not show . There were over 12 people eating . It took over 30 minutes to get through to the tour company to find out what happened after another 30 minutes we were informed the tour was cancelled
We were doing a day in Paris arriving on the Eurostar from London. The train arrived 2 hours and 30 minutes late, hence we were very late for our tour start. We reached out to the Operators and they advised that we should just try and get there as soon as possible. We were about 1 hour and 30 minutes late and the Guide was there waiting in the pouring rain. We were very impress with this and appreciative. The Tour would have been splendid if not for the all day rain which ruined it. It started with a lunch at the Eiffel Tower, Bus Tour (visibility was poor because of the rain) and ended with a River Cruise. Good Value for Money except spoiled by the rain.
Lunch was good but the tour guide inside the bus isn’t telling us anything except to point out where the corresponding structure is. Any high school student can do that. Had it not been for the lunch at the Eiffel Tower and the River swine cruise, I will be giving this a thumbs down score.
I have no tips. The tour was outstanding. The Eiffel Tower was the highlight of the tour. I have no more to say. It was great
Unfortunately, it rained the whole day. However, lunch at the Eiffel Tower was so delicious and just a great experience - that the rain didn't really matter. Florence was a most delightful hostess & we enjoyed visiting with her. The bus ride & the Seine River Cruise were as good as could be with all the rain.
We were able to see the sites of Paris in a condensed version. The lunch was excellent as was the view. Thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride. Especially recommend the trip for the traveler who doesn’t have a lot of time and still wants to experience the sites, sounds and tastes of Paris.
This was definitely worth the Money, Bus tour was very nice got some Great Photos, Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was Phenomenal, Champagne, 2 glasses of wine, 3 course meal and dessert and the best view in Paris, then a 10pm River cruise. Well Money Spent.
Fist time in Paris with my mother.. we were extremely happy with both the tour guidesand the tour it self. Tour guides were very helpful , friendly and accommodating. The lunch was magnificent!! , as we’re the staff. Finished with a river cruise which was great.. overall a great day! Thank you Viator!!
Our waiter at the restaurant on the 1st level was fantastic. Meal was wonderful. Great experience overall.
Lunch at the Eiffel Tower is what we were looking for, and that's exactly what we had. Nice eating establishment, wait staff that was attentive, and an excellent selection for lunch. We did not do the city tour or the Seine river cruise because the other tour company we were with had already supplied those two items, FREE. Besides, lunch was at 1:15 PM. The city tour was at 4:30 PM, and we would have had to get to a new meeting spot, and the river cruise was at 8 PM. We just wanted lunch at the Eiffel Tower, and that is what we had. Would highly recommend.
Guess where we had dinner with our 1st class waiter? We were not sure what we ate, but all servings were phenomenal!! Spent a full day at the Eiffel Tower & river cruise 🚢. The food/service were 10 stars. Thx for asking Ron/Kathleen
Having already experienced this excursion and it was amazing we decided to show our friends the same. This is not what it used to be. We were left at the queue and sort our own way up and to the table, this did not happen last time. We were sat in the most awful place and didn't have a view at all, so far very disappointing. The only redeeming part was the meal itself and staff. The tour of the city by bus was a joke. No audio was give so who knows where we were, complete waste of money. The cruise, too many people and we couldn't get on. All in all, sadly, I would not recommend this tour at all.
Lunch at Eiffel Tower was better than expected Both bus and boat tour were comprehensive and relaxing
Poorly organized. Not enough time - city tour left before we were done with lunch. Would not recommend!
Fabulous experience knowledgeable guide worth the walk to get there. Would highly recommend this tour
Bus tour was very ordinary no actual guide a very poor app was in use. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was excellent in contrast
The place and the restaurant excellent only that the tour was delayed because the person who had to coordinate it didn't arrive on time and we missed the next tour.
The day was very cold so an open top bus was not the most comfortable ride. Open tops are more for the summer time. The recommendation would be for a closed top tour bus during the cold months.
The bus tour was disappointing only one hour long very few monuments seen. 2 hours gap between tour and Eiffel Tower experience not satisfactory. Eiffel tour and lunch excellent, boat tripEffel excellent! You need to look at the tour and timings.
The tour began with the Eiffel Tower lunch, which we very much enjoyed. After the lunch, is when things began to go downhill. We were then directed to go to the bus for the city tour. The bus was then delayed and got off to a late start. By the time we returned to the meeting point, it was so late that we were unable to go to the river cruise, because we would have missed our train back to London. This happened to other people in our group also. I believe we should receive a partial refund for this tour.
The food on the Eiffel Tower was great. The bus tour was not good. They rented a foxity bus and the audio comments were interrupted. Nothing was immersive! We had not to walk a lot, but had a tour from 1 pm to 7.30pm
Could not locate meeting place so missed the lunch and cruise A more detailed set of instructions is needed for first time travellers to Paris A big no for me
A dream came true. This was another experience out of my bucket list. I was able to celebrate my mother's birthday with my friends. The food and service was excellent.
No guide, so when there was a problem I had no one to turn to. Level 1 of the Eifle tower you could not take the lift down you had to walk up or down, and with some-one with bad virtago, it was not a pleasant experience...a guide would have been able to speak to the person on the lift to be able to assist me. Also we did not manage to go on the boat cruise as it finished at 3pm so we lost out on that. The bus was not able to stop by any of the attractions so pictures could be taken, these are things that should be looked at. This is my 4th time using Viator, and it is the worse
The bus tour was only about 45 minutes and was pre-recorded. It was supposed to be almost 2 hours. We got to the Eiffel Tour and the guide said that he gave us all the river cruise tickets before we left, which he did not. When we questioned him, he said that we were out of luck. He told us we could go complain at the nearest office and see if they would give us more. We were travelling with an 18 month old, so I wasn't going out of my way to get the tickets. He clearly stole them - another family didn't get them either. We arrived for "lunch" which was barely a snack. Even though I included my 18 month old on the reservation, they told me she was not allowed to eat so we all had to share our snack boards with her. The guide was nowhere to be found once he tossed us into the security line. Completely awful and I wish I could get a refund.
Amazing place very nice tour enjoyed visiting Eiffel Tower greeting up to see the magnificent beautiful view of the whole city also the boat in Sien River was amazing
Go for hopp on hopp off buss an buy your own ticket to Seinen cruise and admission to Eiffel tower. We had also bad service at Seinen cruise for our lunch and to much waiting between bus tour an cruise.
For months, I had planned and purchased this excursion through Viator. I booked this because I wanted to have lunch with my husband in the Eiffel Tower. It started out fine; we had a nice bus tour around the city. When we stopped to disembark the bus, the guide said something about the boat tour and lunch. I asked my husband if he heard the same; we must have heard it wrong. We asked the guide and were told that the Eiffel Tower restaurant was being remodeled, so sorry that you weren’t told, but it was arranged to have lunch on the boat instead. We were very disappointed, but nothing we could do. The lunch in the Tower was why I booked and paid $140.00 each. There was another family taking the same tour, and they told us they were informed in advance by AAA about the substitution. We arrived early at the boat and were handed tickets and menus. We were told by our guide that we would choose our meal. My husband and I were seated in the middle section right next to another couple. There was an empty table next to the window. After the boat was underway, I asked if we could move to the empty table, but told no. Okay... Next, everyone around us got a champagne toast, not us. The waiter then started taking orders; he didn’t take ours. We were given a glass of wine, then given an appetizer. The main entree was served; we were given a chicken dish while others were given what they chose; fish, beef. We asked the waiter why, but with his limited English, he didn’t understand. The other tables got cheese plates; we did not. We were served dessert, again chosen by the boat staff. We were not given any options! We totally felt like second class passengers! Our guide met us when we got off the boat and walked us over to the tower. She handed us our tickets and said goodbye, we told we needed to find our way back. Nothing was indicated in the booking that we would have to provide our transportation back, only that pickup and drop-off from hotel was not included. We should have been informed in advance of the restaurant closure and given the option to keep the excursion, change or cancel. In all, a very disappointing experience!
Went to Paris with wife for 3 rd anniversary decided on this tour and was very happy with the whole experience from the friendly staff to the attractions lunch was amazing with the views and quality of the food all round great day thankyou so much highlight of my holiday
This was a very nice experience for my husband, 13 year old granddaughter and myself. The guides were very helpful and explained everything well. Processing at the Eiffel Tower is tedious but our guide, Hubert, was with us all the way. But be prepared to wait an hour from the entrance to actually sitting down to lunch.
Overall it was very good. The only niggle was the queue into the Eiffel Tower for lunch which meant we were supposed to be there for 1.30 pm for lunch and we didn't get into lunch until after 2:15 pm and we queued for about an hour to get in. The rest was excellent. There should be fast track option as we had timed tickets.
We really enjoy the river cruise tour and view on the Eiffel but we think the bus tour was a waste of time as you can’t really see much. The lunch on the Eiffel was not good, service was ok but non of us like the food.
This was suppose to be the highlight of our family vacation. Unfortunately our plane was delayed 4 4.5 hours in washington DC do to mechanical issues and we did not arrive intime for the tour. We made multiple attempts to reach the Paris City Vision Tour company to explain the situation and we were sent off to a black hole where they never contact you or attempt to make things right. This company took our money and ran. I could understand them doing nothing to help me if i was at fought, but I have proof through the Airlines on my arrival delay. I would never recommend doing any tours with this company. Viator has been a great booking agent, but PARIS CITY VISION has been a complete disappointment.
Tour was good, but tried contacting Viator and Paris City Tours a number of times through phone and email with questions the day before, but no one got back to us.
