We wanted to sail down the Seine River, and found this hop on hop off thing with it. Unfortunately, we could not find where to get on for the river cruise. We had all day so I wasn’t worried, but no one could help us, even the hop on/off people. It says you can board at any stop, which I assume is bus stop, but there’s no boats at the bus stops. I kept being asked what company the tour was with and I couldn’t find this info anywhere. I messaged the provider the day before and the day of, and never got any response. I recommend just buying the ticket in person.

Best way to see all the top sites. We went around twice and took the boat trip. Audio was very informative, and a great help to my granddaughter so she could listen and watch without needing to ask too many questions.
See all the sites Loved the tag on cruise of Seine Tour person at each site very helpful as was driver
Found the app difficult to figure and instructions for river cruise difficult to follow. Buses ran often. Hard to hear commentary on the river cruise.
Well worth money to see a beatiful city at your own pace the ability to take 48 hours was ideall and the boat trip was excelent
My sisters and I did this hop on hop off bus strip which was great to just sit and get the information through the audio whilst in transit. Very interesting and forgot how beautiful Paris is. We also had the Seine Boat trip with the ticket and did that the next day which was great to again just sit and get all the information from the guide whilst floating along the river. Very comfortable and relaxing.
Great service that boarded and left on time. Great commentary from the host and a friendly bunch of crew. Nice little cafe on board
Easy to navigate, great drivers! The route took you to most want to see attractions and the night cruise is a bonus!
I love toot-bus. I have toured using them now in London and now in Paris. The app is great, the history on the bus is great/funny, and the stops for the hope on hop off are perfect. Only wish they ran a little later because it can be really hard to make it on the last bus by 6:30. Especially when you try to maximize the day.
If you have a uk disability card pop them an email for the disability discount! The drivers were helpful and the buses were clean! Great paris tour and it gets announced when theres a place of interest coming up so you can get camera ready.
asked for a refund because the timing was not what I scheduled. Still waiting for the refund. Spoke to Maria
A little knowledge of French would be very helpful, to understand the courier, ,they do their best, of course. The music in between sites was a little irritating.
The tootbus hits all the must see's in Pairs Letting you get on and off and spend what you need to see it all. Easy to find and use. You are even directed what a great photo op is coming!
Great way to see the city get around the city while learning about it. Buses were never hard to find or get. Hopped on and off multiple times. Guides were helpful too. Easy access to the RER/Metro stations too. Included cruise was the highlight for informational. Great tour. Like I mention cruise was great for learning more. The bus tour needs MORE info included. Many times we were passing things and wishing they would tell us what they were. Less music. More talk would improve this. Cruise was fabulously narrated.
The audio guide was good, the bus took us to the main attraction spots in Paris, but it was very sunny in summer so we had to shield ourselves from the burning sun on top and couldn’t fully enjoy the view.
The tour was as expected. What was unexpected was Yasin our driver. Incredibly helpful with assisting my Mom and came to our rescue with an Internet connection 👍🏾😀
Excellent tour for first time visitors of Paris. The busses come often enough, drivers are polite and helpful. You can step off the bus at any of the many stops and explore around, then return to where you left, or stroll to another stop.
The commentary was awful. We took out our earplugs and stopped listening to it it was that bad. At times we would pass an interesting building and wonder what it was but there was no mention of it on the audio. Not worth the money at all.
The route was great, the audio commentary was very interesting, the buses came every 10 minutes which made hopping on and off easy. We highly recommend the river cruise too, again with interesting commentary and an aspect of Paris we would have otherwise missed.
If you want to get some information about Paris definitely don't take this bus. The excursion is really poor. They try to tell silly not funny jokes, but telling nothing about the history, architecture, famous people. I have switched between 3 languages, and in all it's AI speaking with wrong pronunciation, especially the names. Poor. The boat trip. We couldn't come on board with the QR code, which was OK for the bus, though bought and payed together. We had to find a representative of the tootbus and he has managed to send us per Email 4 QR codes for the boat separately. On the boat the microphone of the lady didn't really work. Not to recommend. Sorry.
I hv not even taken it even though i am in Paris. Could not find or nobody there. Plus traffic is so slow, i wonder whats the point.
Loved seeing the outside of the Louvre and the Arc de Triomph and highlights of the city of Paris on our short two days in Paris because the first day was snowed out.
The Tootbus was convenient to hop on and off. Not a huge fan of the prerecorded tour guide audio. Overall I would definitely do it again. We did 2 day Tootbus & Seine River cruise. The cruise was a very nice way to see some of Paris!
We appreciated the quick overview of attractions in Paris. However we never found the boat for the cruise. We were told to go to Eiffel Tower stop, but never found a Toot Bus boat. Disappointing.
The bus schedule was on time. Kept to a bus every 10 minutes. The only complaint I had was the drivers didn't offer much help with navigating the city outside the bus route. The busses were nice and clean. The announcements hard to hear and understand. And the driver wouldn't give me a paper printed copy of my ticket. Overall though, a good experience
The hop on a hop off tour and Seine River cruise or a great way to see Paris in less than 12 hours. Of course, it was raining, and the covered buses were a much better experience than the open top. The same river cruise showed a new perspective of the city and we were blessed that the sun came out right before The cruise ended. The audio is kind of kooky but fun and did convey some good information about the city. If you have very little time, this is the best way to see the city.
The audio guide is aware of time & useless as is clearly evident as virtually no-one uses it. The bus seats are very small & cramped. The map for the drop off & get on stops is out of date & info extremely difficult to find. Even the on/lind maps are inaccurate & the print out that you can get when you catch the bus. There should be a bus stop between Eiffel Tower & Bus Stop, 11 Rue Auber, 75009 Paris, France; & the next stop at the Opera is far too close. A The bus stops should be marked on google maps, which I did whenever we stopped. NIGHTMARE TO NAVIGATE….!!! The river cruise boat broke down thus wasting 1hr of already invaluable time. No apology given or compensation offered, & we were then loaded onto an already full boat this making it very overcrowded.
They hit most of the main sights in Paris. The only problem was locating where to catch the bus. I was able to communicate with the driver (I think) but it took a spell.
Good reliable service plenty of buses nice drivers . Hits all the main spots apart from monmartre, Buses were clean offering usual earbuds and commentary in several languages…. River cruise was really good a smaller boat with excellent tour guide, long enough with being too long lasting one hour, the was a toilet and bar enboard
A good way to see the main highlights of Paris and we really enjoyed the narration focued onnthe Olympic Games and the boat cruise. As others mentioned, it was difficult to find the start of the cruise - the docks are below the Eiffel Tower on the south shore of the Seine River, run by Vedette de Paris. We were unable to finish the bus tour after the cruise despite waiting at a stop from 5-6 pm, no busses came. Was disappointing to not see the Champs Elysees.
Horrible…. They told us a bus would come every ten minutes and be at each stop about 2 minutes. We were at stops waiting on the bus for 20 minutes while they were selling tickets. Took 35 minutes to go one stop.
Not the best audio narration. It was minimal & it did not match the location I would not recommend it
TOOTBUS had only one route which was altered because of the Olympics and road closures. Had a 3 day pass but probably wouldn’t go on it again after first day. Buses stopped picking up passengers at 6:30 which we were not told about so ended up having to walk over 3 miles to get to our accommodations. Not thrilled with that. Overall fun way to tour the city though as we were first timers here but probably wouldn’t use this as a mode of transportation.
A fantastic experience from start to finish! Reading some of the reviews prior to booking I was a little hesitant but I needn't have worried. The drivers and Tootbus staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the buses were on time and regular and it was such a lovely way to get round Paris with the kids and for them to see the sights. The Tootbus app was so easy to use and was great when trying to navigate to a stop on foot and to see where the nearest stop was from the location we were at. Our package came with a Seine River Cruise which was a brilliant experience. So informative and scenic, it was a magical experience for me and my family. Thanks Tootbus for making our trip to Paris and very happy and memorable one!
Very nice boat, meal and service. I had been in Paris a couple days and better able to navigate the meeting instructions. This would have been difficult the first day. I recommend getting a hop on hop off multi day pass on the Big Bus or Toot. They have handy maps of the stops at the various sites. Prepare to get stuck in traffic between stops.
Friendly (and some funny) drivers, the bus tour was both informative and a great way to save our legs to get around the city whilst being able to enjoy the sunshine and the sights from the bus. Buses were frequent, WIFI didn’t work on all of them but it wasn’t a big problem for us. We had a problem with printing our river cruise tickets but this was quickly and politely fixed by contacting the WhatsApp support number who sent through digital QR codes instead. The river trip was OK. It was cut short due to the high water level and we were offered a complimentary soft drink to make up for it. The staff were all very polite and the boat itself was comfortable enough. The commentary was sometimes hard to follow as it wasn’t always obvious what we needed to be looking at. It was repeated live in English and French and it may be better to do the same as the bus and offer headphones for a pre-recorded commentary. It was nice in the sunshine to see the city from a different perspective so we’re glad we did it. We would use Tootbus again.
The bus tour was fun, the kids (8 & 6)enjoyed the commentary. The cruise was poorly signposted and we nearly missed it. It's ok if you enjoy just being on a boat but it didn't add much
Overall good except the last day our last drop off point changed and it was not communicated to us so when we got off we were somewhat confused.
Loved exploring Paris this way but not enough stops. I'm not positive but this bus didn't go over to the left bank and Notre Dame. The Big Bus seemed to have more stops and more busses.
Nice idea for a tour of Paris to get the lay of the land, however, it was very expensive given that by the time we got to Paris from the airport and stowed our luggage/ got on the bus, it was late. They stop at 5 or so, and we did not have enough time to get the boat cruise. A better choice would be just to take the bus and /or spend your money on ubering around the city and pay for a boat cruise separately (about $11 euros).
Absolutely horrible experience. No buses. No seats. No guidance. Requested money back and they declined. Skip. Skip. Skip. Anything would be better.
Almost impossible to find where the bus stops are, some busses had broken buttons to change the language of audio guide, drivers did not speak English. Bought the ticket online and paid for a ticket that included both bus and boat tours. Could not find the location of where to take the boat and it was not indicated on the map that was given on the bus. When finally, by pure chance, I found one of the tickets sellers in the streets, he said the bus was not running at all. Overall, do not recommend
I would start by saying when we were able to access our pass, it was good. Driver good. Unfortunately I got a 3 day pass, today is day 2 and my tickets have gone and had to pay 18 euros (36 aud) to get taxi back to hotel. Currently waiting on either viator or tootbus to respond to my contact and reinstate my pass
My husband and I totally enjoyed the ride. We had very little time in Paris but we got to see so much on the Hop on Hop off. Would do it again.
There is a issue with their service , sometimes the bus arrives after half or one hour . It wasted our time too twice and secondly they start stopping 6 pm so one has to either taxi or walk back .Need to improve their service further.
The bus was essential to us to see the major attractions in Paris, as I had a knee injury and was not able to walk all that far. The bus stopped at all the tourist spots and the buses came regularly.
Was a good way to get around. Be aware that at the end of their work day you have to get off where that might be so plan accordingly.
One of the best days we spent in Paris . We started in the bus tour which is excellant then got off at the Eiffel tower had some lunch and took the Seine Cruise . It was such a hot day the river trip was wonderful. The commentary was informative we saw so much of Paris from the river. We hopped back on the bus to return to Notra Dam where we were located . It was so simple to book and the buses come regularly so no waiting around
Great way too see Paris and popular sites! Easy to book tickets online, app was user friendly to track buses on route. River cruise was great, not overcrowded.
These are the things I really loved: 1. How easy it was to book the ticket online, then to find a stop and board the bus. 2. The app was helpful, especially the map showing the live location of the route. I wish the map could be full screen though! 3. Another thing I really liked, was how slow the bus driver went, so that the people unboard could take precious photos of the beautiful attractions. In many instances, he stopped the bus next to the attraction for a good amount of time, to let those onboard take photos. 4.The price was much cheaper than the "BigBus" tour also, which is why we chose TootBus. It was very enjoyable and I will recommend this tour to my family and friends, for when they choose to visit Paris in the future! Priceless memories of the beautiful city of Paris!
