The perfect way to see Versailles and so much more. Renaud was a fantastic guide. Gave lots of great information, checked in often on the ride to see that place was ok for all, bikes were in good order, he was well organised, ticket for the train home and ensured we got the most direct to our hotel. Great experience.

That Renault is absolutely the greatest, patient when necessary, I formative all the way and knows the best ways around main areas. Great tour, great equipment. A must do.
What a fantastic excursion. Momo was a great guide. He took his time getting to Versailles with multiple stops for photo opportunities. Once we arrived at the palace, we walked to a local food market and picked our food and wine for a picnic. Once we purchased our food (and a sandwich and baguette from a local Boulangerie) we walked back to our bikes and rode to the back gardens. Blankets were provided as were wine openers and cups. After lunch we went to Marie Antoinette’s residence, then rode back to the palace entrance where we said our goodbyes. We were on our own to explore the palace. We also received a metro ticket to get back to Paris. What a day!! Highly recommend.
this journey was great. Our tour guide Momo, (that was his nick name) was phenomenal: friendly, and knows what to say at the right time always. I recommend him ! We had the best time
The best day of my France trip was this bike to Versailles. The biking was easy and our guide, Renault, was the best. We had a lovely shopping experience at a local market and a beautiful picnic in the garden by a lake with almost no people there. It was wonderful.
Excellent day - much worth it.
We had an excellent day for our full day e-bike tour! It was just 4 of us and we were all compatible riders. Our guide met us at the meeting spot and then got us ready on our bikes making sure we were all comfortably fitted and knew how to work the gears and settings. Our ride through Paris was fun, we stopped at various spots and our guide gave us history or stories about each place. We made it to the National Park and was amazed at the size of the park with it's many trails, overlooks, fountains, etc. Again our guide stopped at various places to give us the story of each site. We stopped at Marie Antoinette's Village and the town of Versailles to go to the market. We had time to shop for our picnic, that was fun. Then biked to a gorgeous picnic spot on the lawn next to the lake with the palace in the distance. Our guide went to get our Palace tickets and we headed out to the entrance where we dropped the bikes before entering the Palace for our visit at 3:30. We highly recommend this tour.
Biking was fun through the woods and the city. The stops in the little Town was just that a stop- talked about the population then off to spectacular views. The weather was perfect for out doors. If I wanted to change anything I thought the hour picking out food then 30-45 minutes eating was a too long. A more story telling at Versailles. Our guide was great. I wish which I did not look up … a guided tour in Versailles would have been great.
Renauld was our thoughtful and patient guide and the trip was wonderful. I was a little nervous about the trip because I have not ridden a bike in a few years, I'm 59 years old and very out of shape. It's actually a pretty easy trip with the e-bikes (although, not gonna lie...my bootie was sore for a couple of days afterwards). This was a wonderful way to see areas outside of Paris that we would have never seen otherwise. We went through a park that had the most amazing view of Paris (would love to go back at night for the same view!), Renauld educated us on the history of the park and also on Versailles. The market area we bought our picnic lunch in was great, having anything from simple items to have your own small chacutterie to pre-made sandwiches and the like. Definitely do not skip the patisserie for a baguette and dessert! I highly recommend this excursion for a fun and different way to explore.
The biking is so much fun! Renault has figured out a great route to see the sights while biking from western Paris to Versailles. Bikes look new and seem well maintained. Renault is knowledgeable and shares the history along the route.
Our tour guide was excellent. He was kind, cautious and safe with all adults and children in the group. Our family with 2 young teens enjoyed the full day experience. Highly recommend.
Our tour guild aeri was excellent to be with. Was so knowledgeable for us Kiwis (NZ). Was so much fun riding through Paris to get to the Palace of Versailles. Highly recommend.
This was a very long, but rewarding day. Biking through the national park and the tree lined paths was incredible. We had lots of places to stop and rest. The picnic by the grand canal was a great spot to enjoy the atmosphere of Versailles. Our guide was so helpful, he even came prepared with a first aid kit when my son fell and needed a bandage. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. Everyone at the company went out of their way to accommodate and make it a pleasant experience. Only a couple hours at the palace before it closed, but fewer crowds at the end of the day. We really enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the countryside. It was a great day.
This was a highlight for our family. We got to see parts of Paris we didn’t know about and doing something different than just walking through museums was a big bonus. The trip was mostly in the shade and it was even enjoyable during Paris’s crazy heat wave. Much happier I booked the e-bikes than the pedal bikes. 😅 we loved it all. If you end up going and have space for bike shorts, it might be nice unless you are an avid biker before you go. Definitely book it if you are on the fence.
Momo was our guide and he was fabulous with the bike ride, safety and also the history of everywhere we visited. This trip was definitely the highlight of our entire trip to Paris and Momo was a big part of the trip! It is a MUST!
Momo is an amazing guide! Both the bikes and bike lanes are well-maintained and the bike ride is well-organized. I did my ride in the morning during a heat wave, but even that is pleasant as we go through all the woods. The palace of Versailles and the garden is great, but I wouldn’t have know other beautiful sites or picnic by the river if I did the trip on my own. When I did my search, this bike tour came up as the most pricey one, but I think it is totally worth the price for a whole-day trip with all tickets and services included. The group I rode with had two families and two solo riders, and it seems to work for everyone. I would definitely recommend!
The tour itself was great, it was good to see the parks, gardens and palaces. I enjoyed the picnic by the lake. However at the end of the tour, the guide asked for tips, I explained that I read that you do not tip in France and I don’t have cash on me. He became aggressive towards the other woman and I. She gave him 20euro and walked off as he was intimidating her. I explained again that I didn’t have cash on me, he became more aggressive saying that he has PayPal and I can pay him that way. When I replied no I don't use PayPal, he said he’s never had this experience, everyone has always paid him. He then said he can take me to an ATM to get money out for him, I replied no I’m not doing that. As he was increasingly becoming more aggressive and trying to intimidate me I walked away. This experience soured the whole experience, I would recommend the tour, but not the guide.
Monty was an expert guide in every way. He gave a concise and entertaining history of Versailles and was always mindful of keeping the group together.
The tour was way more fun than I had initially thought going into it. A great way to see Paris and surrounding areas. Seeing the surrounding grounds of Versailles was the best part of Versailles. Would highly recommend
Super fun way to get outside and see the outskirts of Paris and bike into Versailles! Our guide, Momo, was well versed in the area’s history and kept us safely moving through streets and trails. We met at 8:30 and got home at 6:30, so it is a long day, but a fun day! (The timing is somewhat dependent on how long you stay at the Palace and how crowded the train is or whether you take a taxi instead which might be longer if rush-hour.) The market was amazing! We got sliced bread, fresh strawberries, two kinds of olives, hummus, tomato spread, and baklava, and it was delicious. The picnic gave us a 45 min rest about half way through the day, which was appreciated. The Palace and Marie Antoinette’s village is quite large and impressive. I would definitely bring a water bottle which you can refill in a number of encountered places. Overall, Momo was a wonderful guide and interesting person, and he made this trip fantastic. We loved it and would highly recommend booking this excursion.
An absolutely wonderful way to experience Versailles. The cycle route from Paris was easy to navigate and Renauld was an excellent guide. The weather cooperated and shopping for food at the outdoor market allowed us to see an area of the town most tourists bypass. Highly recommend and hope to do again next time we return to the area.
Really enjoyed the guide - he took time to explain about the areas as we rode through. The day was a success.
This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Paris. Both of us are over 60, so we were apprehensive about the activity. Moe-Moe immediately put us at ease and guided us seamlessly thru the suburbs. The paths through the parks were breathtaking. A history lesson along the way was appreciated. Moe-Moe ensured we experienced the best of Versailles upon arrival and shepherded us through a site that for first timers was overwhelming. A great day! They accommodated a date change (within their time frame) due to rain on our original plan. Thank you
Our host Moe-Moe was the best! So friendly and helpful. Lots of useful and interesting information and stories to make our visit to Versailles extra special. The bikes were easy and fun to operate. Just a great day!
Renault was a great guide. The bikes worked well. Came with weather resistant saddle bags, blankets and rain gear (wish it had water bottle holders) I am an experienced road bike rider, but even the novice of the group did well once she started shifting gears. There was a little street riding but not much. The cobblestones were rough but couldn’t be helped. It did rain before we started and as we ended, but can’t blame Renault for that. I’d do it again.
Encroyable! Incredible! We enjoyed this most beautiful experience. Our tour guide Renault, was very knowledgeable and of course very congenial. His experience with the bicycles made for a safe and enjoyable trip. His knowledge of the French history was very good. As it states, food and drinks are not included but we stopped at a wonderful cafe, with a bathroom, for one hour at lunch time. The food was unbelievable and was also a low price!
Mellow, beautiful not rushed day trip on ebikes. Given plenty of time for everything so you can absorb the beauty and immerse your senses. Highly recommend this ebike tour. It also helps to have prior biking skills. Weaves thru city and forests. Lovely. Loved it.
Great communication for meeting point and what our itinerary was for the day! We take many trips with many tours and this one by far was the most incredible adventure! Seeing Versaille was great however, the true jewel of this tour was the Electric bike tour through the streets of Paris, hidden woodsy trails, small villages and the city of Versaille itself! The lake he took us to for our picnic lunch was stunning! Anyone traveling to Paris and looking for tours to do, you’re truly missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime in this tour. Book it!!!!
This is a very long day. We were all exhausted but we had a great time. We saw lots of beautiful sites and our guide was superb at keeping us safe.
What a very special bike tour. The guide and equipment top notch. Perfect change from the normal tour.
Absolute highlight of my trip! We had a small group, just four of us, and everything went very smoothly. After a brief run through on how to operate the bikes and safety information, we embarked on our journey. The ride through the city and forest was so fun and I loved the bits of history that we got during our stops. Once we made it to Versailles, it was nice to explore the market to get items for lunch, and then we headed to have our picnic. Renaud even provided us with cups so that we could enjoy the wine that we bought at the market. After the picnic, we were able to explore the palace grounds on our own. I’d highly recommend this unique experience to anyone!
Outstanding day. Renaul is best guide ever. This is a day trip you should do while in Paris. The ride to Versailles was more enjoyable than Versailles with all the humans everywhere. The ride there took you through forests , parks and remains of a castle similar to Versailles. Renaul knows the area and Versailles. The picnic was amazing. Get out of the Coty and do this trip.
Each section was so amazing! It was hard to get up close to the Mona Lisa, but there was so much to see.
A fantastic way to appreciate Versailles. Our guide, Adrian, was well-informed, attentive, and patient! It’s a full day so plan on resting that night.
The Palace tour by e-bike was excellent. The route through Paris felt well planned and safe, even for someone unfamiliar with the city. The bikes were in great condition. Brakes, battery, and gear shifting all worked perfectly, and it was clear the equipment is well maintained. Once outside the city, the ride through the parks was especially enjoyable. On a clear spring day, the trails are ideal. The picnic stop was a highlight and just as memorable as the palace itself. Highly recommended.
f you’re considering a bike tour from Paris to Versailles—do it, and book with Renault. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day seamless and fun. He brought the history and highlights to life while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable. The ride itself is beautiful, Great way To get out of the city and get to know Versailles, the town and not just the palace. Thanks being part of our adventure! You’ll make the coffee table book!
We had the best day! The weather was perfect and so was our guide “Reno”. So much information and the prettiest views! We loved shopping for our picnic and sitting by the lake. It was such an easy transition getting back to the city afterwords. I highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic adventure and very good guide . Well worth it. Great guide , beautiful journey Great journey. Easy to ride.
A simply fantastic experience that is very well organised! Renaud provides a truly personal experience with deep historical guidance and a fantastic route via numerous parks and historic sites. Our teenage children loved the experience and felt safe at all times given most if the riding is on paths/cycles ways. Bikes were fantastic and markets in Versailles village are a must.
We had a wonderful experience with Renaud. The E-bikes were in fine shape and handled the trip from Paris to Versailles very well. They were very easy to ride with multiple levels of electric assist available so you can choose how easy or hard you want to work. It was nice to see the range of location from the City, through some forest areas as well as some of the suburbs in between. Renaud stopped at a few locations along the way and explained some of the history. The Market in Versailles is wonderful. It was a bit chilly when we were there, so the group decided to eat in the Market area rather than grab food for a picnic, but Renaud left it for us to decide. We had a little time to explore the Trianon area of the Palace grounds before heading over to the Main Palace. We were left near the entrance to the main Palace so we could explore that on our own. The train back to Paris was easy to manage. All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience for us.
Probably the best e bike trip I’ve done. Great route, very informative, nice equipment and awesome guide.
Get to experience the most beautiful country side on an ebike, followed by delicious fresh produce from a local market which we then enjoyed as a picnic in the grounds of Versailles.
Our guide Renault was informative, pleasant and ensured all riders had an excellent experience. The route was an easy level for all and the spot selected for the picnic was magnificient.
Best tour guide ever!!! He was wonderful. The entire experience was a ten out of a ten. highly recommend.
We really enjoyed this trek with e-bikes. Lovely journey first through Paris, a French neighborhood, a wooded area and then on to Versailles where we purchased lunch at a market and had a picnic by the water in the amazing garden. Super romantic location…doesn’t get better! Went to the petit palace and the grand palace. This is a full day!! Don’t miss the garden at the grand palace. Stunning!!
Renaud was our guide and he was fantastic. He kept track of all of our group of 14 and made sure we were all clear on our instructions. He also gave nice little history lessons along our ride about our stops. The market was a highlight and we had a super delicious picnic along the Grand Canal. If you’re from the States, the produce you get is just more fresh than what we usually get at home. Requires moderate fitness level for sure and the ability to ride a bicycle in urban settings and on cobblestone and forest paths. We had a wonderful time and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience an active way to explore Versailles and the more rural/countryside views from Paris.
One of the best tour you can do in Paris. A fast fun way to travel to Versailles. You get to see all the cool sites on the way and then get lots of time inside the pakace. Well organised and bikes are easy to ride.
This was a unique guided tour, starting from western Paris and joining bike commuters in the morning as we made our way out of town, through parks, and up into the hills. Expect limited (but well-considered) tour-guide-talk, and lots of biking as this tour takes advantage of the range of e-bikes to take indirect paths that let you see the areas where many mansions and palaces once stood, and then all around the parks and grounds of Versailles. If you know the good feeling you get having covered a lot of ground on a bike, and appreciate really being able experience in the way Versailles is situated away from the city experientially (which sets you up nicely to understand the troubles the disconnected monarchs got themselves into with the Revolution), this is a special tour worth considering. The only possible disappointment if you're not expecting is is that this biking-first, talking-light. Don't expect long and highly informative verbal essays on history, culture and architecture. This is about being there and experiencing the area on a bike, with sufficient but not extensive narration.
This was a great way to see some of Paris and countryside on the way to Versailles. And we had lots of time to explore Versailles as well. Renoir, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout!
This bike tour was a highlight of our trip in Paris. It was a long day, but worth it!! Our daughter, 11, and son, 13 had no problem keeping up, and plenty of bike options for a good size fit. We started in Paris just before 9am, made our way through a bit of city and parks before leaving Paris behind. There were plenty of picture stops and well timed bathroom breaks. Walking through the market to decide on lunch was fun and had plenty of options. Renaud brought sturdy knives for those who needed (ie for cheeses) he also had a wine bottle opener for those who may have purchased a half bottle of wine. He gave each group a picnic blanket and we dispersed on the lawn for lunch. We went to the Grand Trianon and strolled through the gardens (not to be missed) and ended in front of the main castle at about 3pm where we parted ways with the group and the bikes. We then toured Versailles at our own pace before making our way back to Paris with the provided train ticket. If you are even considering this tour, I would say do it absolutely!!
