Paris Ten Wines And Ten Cheeses Tasting In A Royal Cellar

An exceptionally pleasant experience. A very nice selection of wines from different regions of France, some delicious cheese pairing, and a great explanation of how wines are labeled in France. Our guide was knowledgeable, and just as importantly, he made the experience fun for everyone in attendance.

They unexpectedly canceled our reservation 1 day before. Said they were overbooked. Funny, we booked back in February, do not know how they could overbook us, we had to be one of the first to book. Be advised you may get cancelled at anytime.

Be prepared to drink 10 glasses of wine. Why waste the good stuff, am I right? Yves, the sommelier, was knowledgeable and entertaining. Most cheeses were delightful, but I do not like Roquefort! (I tried it, not for me.)

It was fun and educational. Not too overwhelming and very intimate. Tried 10 wines with 10 cheeses. If you didn’t like a particular cheese, they even gave secondary recommendations.

Very nice experience. We tried 10 wines & cheeses as advertised & they were really well paired. The host also did a very good job to guide us through the histories of each & helped us enjoy them.

It was such a great experience. Learned a tremendous amount from Pierre about the various wine regions of France and the pairings of the wines with the cheese.

We enjoyed this tasting immensely!! Our sommelier was great. We tried wines and cheeses from across France. Some sweet, some bold and some down the middle. But we had an excellent group. We learned a lot and really enjoyed this part of our trip to Paris. 10/10.

It is a very relaxing and informative day. Pierre was so nice and informative! Although I was a solo traveller i felt very welcome and at home. The wines were superb. Although I knew a little about wines I was still surprised at how much the cheese pairings added to the whole taste experience! I highly recommend this tour!! If could have stayed longer in Paris I would come back with my husband or friends!

This was a pricey but truly first-class tasting experience. The cellar/tasting room is beautiful and our guide seemed very knowledgeable of wines and cheese, keeping us engaged with information and stories. All of the selections were excellent, although most seem to be from small vineyards and family cheesemakers and probably not so easy to find at your typical local wine shop. In enjoyed learning about the regions of France and the orientation of their local wines and cheeses.

This tour was beautifully presented. Margaux was our presenter. She was knowledgeable and personable. It was the larger tasting - 10 wines and 10 cheeses, along with bread. At 152.00 pp (USD) it was quite a high price, but competitive with others. We had a fun group too!

We loved this experience. The sommelier was insightful and engaging. Les Caves Du Louvre was a beautiful wine and cheese shop . We left there with a bottle to take home and many more suggestions of wines and cheeses to buy when we return to the states.

We actually will be requesting a refund because our ticket said 7 PM and the tasting was actually at 12 PM so we missed it.. I planned to connect with you for a refund when we return from our trip. The gentleman at the winery said this has happened before and I showed him our ticket and he said that we need to seek the refund from you. It was very disappointing as we were celebrating my daughter‘s 25th birthday and this was something very special that we were seeking to do in Paris.

Great experience. Our host definitely knows his wines and cheeses and clearly loves what he does. 10 very generous of each. The venue was exceptional. Felt I was in a cozy wine cellar.

This was one of the best wine and cheese tasting expereinces I have attended. It is a small group setting with excellent wine and ceese pairings. They have both a wine and cheese shop at the location so that you can take your favirites with you. It was truly a wine workshop where you will leave better informed no matter what your level of wine knowledge. Highly recommend!!!

Willie was an amazing sommelier who was so knowledgeable about wine and cheese and their history in France. It was a fascinating experience in a very cool, beautiful cellar in an underground area. The cheeses and the wine were superb and plentiful. We absolutely loved it. I have done many wine tastings in my lifetime and this was second to none. You won’t regret doing this excursion.

Very educational. Our group ran the full spectrum of wine knowledge, from people with little knowledge to those with significant experience buying and drinking European wines. I believe everyone had a good time. We all learned some basics about French wine and how to pair them with different types of cheese. I believe everyone left with an interest in a wine we had not previously enjoyed.

My mother and I had a great time at the tasting. Our Som was knowledgeable, personable, entertaining. We were introduced to wines we would have never picked out on our own, and the cheeses were amazing.

Incredible! Pierre was an excellent presenter and not only did we have fun but learned something! We wobbled out of the seminar and made it back to our hotel for a rest. This gave us an opportunity to sample different wines from all over France without leaving the room.

We had Marie as our sommelier who was excellent. A really good and varied selection of wines with the perfect cheese to accompany each wine we went for the 10 cheese and 10 wine option. Great setting also.

Beyond my expectations! The explanation was top notch . Our guide knowledgeable, kind and just plain lovely . I am coming back ! And the cheeses !!!! I am a cheese liver and now have new ones in my list . The wine pairing was also an A+ , even though i am no wine expert ! Enjoyed the explanation and exploration with the particular cheeses

The presentation was really nice, the wines were interesting and the sommelier was engaging and enjoyed the group as much as we enjoyed him.

Thus wine tasting experience was the highlight of our trip. The instructor was amazing; very personable and knowledgeable. We appreciate his hospitality and our group purchased a few bottles of our favorite white and red wines. The cheeses were delicious. We took amazing photos and are still reminiscing about the wonderful experience we had! To the instructor, Thank you so much for giving us an amazing wine tasting experience.

We had a fantastic time! The selection of wine and cheese was excellent, though my husband wasn’t a fan of the last two—just a matter of personal taste. What truly made the evening exceptional was the sommelier, Irvin. His deep knowledge and entertaining approach really elevated the experience, making it both informative and fun. Irving was extremely knowledgeable. We loved every wine and cheese pairing and learned a lot about the different cheeses from goat, sheep and cow! This was one of our favorite outings.
