Itinerary
Discover the sweet flavors of Paris on a guided tasting tour. Try a variety of local pastries and desserts and discover the world of French Patisserie in its capital, in Montmartre district, a place that looks like a postcard! All the food and drinks are included as here described and some tastings may change according to the availability of our partners and to the season.
Croissant, pain au chocolat, or pain aux raisins! These golden delights are a must-taste during your trip to Paris. Buttery, flaky, and melt-in-the-mouth, they pair perfectly with a morning coffee or an afternoon treat. Enjoy your breakfast after a stroll from the Moulin Rouge - the iconic cabaret that doesn't need any introduction - to Rue Lepic, to start your journey to discover Montmartre!
Once reserved for royal courts, chocolate now wins the hearts of all. In an historical chocolaterie, one of the most ancient in town, founded in 1761, you will have a tasting that reveals all the aromatic richness of this ingredient and the finesse of master chocolatiers. An unmissable experience!
Place des Abbesses is one of the most famous in Montmartre, named after the abbesses who ran the Royal Abbey of Montmartre from the 12th century until 1790. Nowadays it's one of the places that fully embodies Parisian charm. Here, in a local patisserie, you will try the famous éclairs! Eclairs are a timeless highlight of every pastry display and one of the most famous examples of French pastry making. Filled with flavoured smooth cream and topped with a glossy glaze, éclairs delight both with elegance and indulgence. Its name means “lightning” in French, supposedly because people eat them so fast they vanish in a flash!
Madeleines areevery sweet tooth: delicately buttery, soft and golden biscuits, lightly sweet or infused with hints of lemon, vanilla. These delicacies became an icon also in literature, thanks to the writer Marcel Proust and you will enjoy them warm from the oven, in an adorable boutique near the famous Mur des Je t'aime, where you can read the phrase "I Love you" in more than 250 languages!
Place du Tertre is one of the symbols of Montmartre, full of brasseries and street artists that paint or sing en plein air! Here you will have a taste of the iconic Macarons! These colorful little gems feature an almond shell filled by a flavored ganache. They have become a true symbol of French elegance in sweets. Legend has it that Catherine de’ Medici brought them to France in the 16th century proving once and for all that a sweet tooth can change the course of history.
Deliciously sweet, soft and warm, simply sweetened or filled with chocolate or jam, crêpes really suit all taste. Enjoy your crêpe with a breathtaking view of the Sacré-Coeur.

This was easily the best thing we did on our vacation across London and Paris. Great food and history and an easy pace. It turned out to be just my mother, my friend, and I on the tour. We had coffee and croissants, eclairs, macaroons, chocolate, and crêpes, all delicious. I particularly can’t say enough good things about our guide, Oscar. He was fabulous, fantastic, awesome, and all the synonyms. He shared so much knowledge about the history of the areas we walked through, and really connected with us. We very much enjoyed getting to know him. He was very solicitous to my mother, who walks with a cane, taking care to find the easiest routes for her. He was easily in the top 3 tour guides I have ever had.
Absolutely fabulous tour! Great information. Was super accommodating to an older person! Would book again in a minute!
We had an amazing tour experience thanks to our wonderful guide Lolla. I was with my teenage daughter and we loved every second. Lolla grew up in and lives in Montmartre so she knows everything about it - I didn’t appreciate the neighborhood in the past and now I really understand why locals love it so much. Lolla took us to all the best spots for delicious French pastries, coffee, and chocolate. We walked around (she made sure we weren’t walking straight up the hill, thank goodness) and learned many interesting things about the history and art of the area. We really lucked out getting such a knowledgeable, interesting and friendly guide! I would love to do this again. I tried to add pictures but my phone isn’t cooperating.
This was such a fun and enjoyable tour. I took my two young daughters with me for this tasting (8 & 6). They absolutely loved walking around Montmartre and discovering the neighborhood and tasty treats it had to offer. Our tour guide, Lolla, was incredible and was not only very friendly but extremely knowledgeable about the history of Montmartre and all of its artistic and cultural aspects. The tour was the perfect length of time and never once wanted it to end. I highly recommend Lolla as your tour guide because she made me feel welcomed and at ease even though my French isn’t past beginner level. She spoke fluent English and was happy to answer any questions we had about the area, cuisine, and culture. This tour truly made our first experience in Montmartre a magical one.
My mum and I booked this tour to experience authentic Parisian culture, and it delivered on every level. Our guide, Marie, was fantastic and super knowledgeable. As a Montmartre local, she shared so much fascinating insight not only about the food we sampled, but also about the history and charm of the area itself. We tried pastries, chocolate, crêpes, macarons, and more! Finishing the tour at Sacré-Cœur was the perfect ending to a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Paris!
Our 2 hour walking food tour through Montmartre with Lolla was absolutely incredible and truly one of our favorite experiences during our time in Paris! My daughter and I had the most wonderful time exploring this beautiful neighborhood with Lolla. Since she grew up in Montmartre and still lives there today, she shared personal stories and experiences that made the tour feel so intimate, authentic, and so special. It felt less like a tour, and more like being shown around a beloved neighborhood by a dear friend. The chocolate and all the pastries were absolutely amazing, and we loved discovering the area while learning so much about the local life and culture. Lolla's warmth, knowledge and genuine love for Montmartre made the entire experience unforgettable. Every stop was special on the tour, and with the most delicious treat! If you are visiting Paris, I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was the perfect combination of delicious treats, beautiful scenery, local history, and personal connection. We will always remember this experience and are so grateful to Lolla for making it such a highlight of our trip. A must-do in Paris!!!
We had the most AMAZING tour with Lolla. This was our first food tour, and experience in Montmartre. We found our meeting place easily, where Lolla greeted us with a big smile, and told us we were the only 2 people that morning for the tour, which was amazing! Lolla was incredible--- knowledgeable, personable, shared her stories of growing up in Montmartre and provided us with history of the area, the food, shops, etc. We learned so much!!! It was immediately apparent that Lolla loves her home, and the tour was breathtaking with the beauty of Montmartre. The stops along the way to the shops were so fun, and of course SO delicious. The tour is planned so well, with the stops and all the amazing Parisian Treats from Croissants, Macaroons, Crepes, Madeline's, Chocolate, eclairs, and coffee. At some of the stops you can select which treat you would prefer. It is a very hilly area, but the way that Lolla took us it didn't feel hard, it was a great 2 hour walk, with stops along the way. It was the favorite thing we did while in Paris. The tour ends at the top at Sacre Coeur, where we went right after. It's absolutely stunning. You can spend a whole day here in Montmartre. Lolla, you are fabulous at your job, we genuinely enjoyed meeting you, and having us for our morning Chocolate and Pastry Tour. Thank you so much!!! Kendra & Sydney
A must see & do with the magical MARIE ! So full of knowledge & enthusiasm . The bakery items were perfect . The neighborhood full of so much charm & uniqueness . Marie is a true gem . Run , don’t walk to book your tour with manifique Marie <3
Such an wonderful experience. Lolla was our guide and she was amazing. She grew up in the area and still lives there - she was able to answer all of our questions. She was friendly and kind and told us much more than we expected for the tour. All of the tastings were delightful, and it is a tour I highly recommend. The area is beautiful and I’m so glad we booked this tour. My 13 year olds favourite tour so far on our Europe holiday.
So fun learning about the different pastries! Paulette was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tour was really organized.
Paulette was the best! We love her
We had an amazing day with our tour guide Marie-Pierre. Not only did she have us discover fabulous places in Montmartre, she made sure that our tummy was totally satisfied with delicious sweets. Her enthusiasm and her love for Monmarte were evident from the get-go. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. If we ever had a chance to tour with Marie Pierre, we would not hesitate one minute.
Paulette was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide about French pastry. We recommend this tour for anyone who wants a gentle walk through Montmartre and sweet treats!
Kevan was the best tour guide! He gave us so much information AND he was funny! Made the walk easy and really interacted with the group.
The group is small (we had 6 people), which is great and the guide has more personal interaction with each guest. Easy walking and lots of stops to sample the pastries.
Taste of so many things, so be sure to come hungry! Nino was excellent, highly recommend to anyone visiting
My wife and I wanted a tour around Montmarte. We also wanted a taste of some wonderful French food. This tour was perfect. We were fortunate to take the tour a bit off season so it was just the two of us with Arina our guide. We met at the Moulin Rouge with a short little history. We moved on to Urban Bakery for a croissant, pain au chocolate and espresso. A quaint little boulangerie. Down the street a bit further was À la Mère de Famille for artisan chocolate. Yummy! So good we bought a sample box for later. Next we had a bit of a walk where she was telling us about the area, the history, and pointed out some interesting views. We then made it to Square Jehan Rictus. We learned a little about Église Saint-Jean de Montmartre and the public water fountains. We stepped in to Biscuiterie de Montmartre for a fresh-out-of-the-oven coconut rocher and madelines. Down the street we visited Pain Pain for eclairs that we brought back to the square for a bench and shade. Right there was the I love you wall. It has been blocked off due to some instability but we were still able to get a few pictures. We strolled by Le Bateau-Lavoir and learned about some of the artists that have lived in the area. We then made it over to Les Artistes de la Place du Tertre where we found it quite crowded and busy with all of the artists, bistros and restaurants. Just a bit further on we made it to Pierre Hermé for macaroons. Delicious! Of course we needed a sample box for later. Our final stop was at Grenouilles for crepes. We wrapped up our tour at Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. A beautiful church with fantastic view of the city. This tour allowed us to not only get a taste of some great food but a wonderful view of the area. Navigating the cobblestone streets and hills were no joke. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare for an urban hike. The rewards for the effort made it worth it. Although we had the tour to ourselves we can see that even with a group this would be a great tour.
Marie was our guide today for the Montmarte tour and she was outstanding. She was very informative and a lot of fun. Would highly recommend her.
We went on the tour this morning with Marie and had an excellent tour. Marie was informative about the places we visited, the food we ate, and the history of Montmartre. She was friendly, helpful, and made sure we all had an excellent experience. We highly recommend requesting Marie for your tour guide.
Mari was excellent! Had a great time with group.
We had a lovely pastry tour in Montmarte with Paulette. Fun, entertaining and delicious!
Paulette was great. We had a nice visit of Montmartre while discovering french delicacies at the same time. We'll definitely come back in the future.
Great experience, Ester was a lovely, knowledgeable guide.
We had a wonderful morning with our guide Arina. There was a good mix of tastings/ history of the area and rest breaks on what was a very hot day. Arina was very knowledgeable and the 3 hour tour flew by. Our favourite stop was for Macarons!
Marie Pierre was wonderful! The tour felt like exploring a French village with a family friend. She made the day delicious! The highlight of our time in Paris!
Lovely Macaroon and Chocolates - Energetic Marie.
We had a wonderful tour with Paulette, she was very knowledgeable and patient. She made our tour experience memorable. We will definitely book Paulette again with this tour company on our next trip to Paris.
Great tour. We did it with kids 8 and 11 who loved all the stops for treats! Marie was a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guide and also made sure we kept out of the sun as it was a hot day and gave us options to walk various ways depending on what we wanted to see. Lots of food but you can have some to take away and eat later if you wish!
Kevan was Amazon!! Very funny and inclusive of all the kids!
Kevan was fantastic. We enjoyed our tour tremendously. Highly recommend
Kevan was amazing! We were so full after
Marie was the absolute BEST!! The tour was so enjoyable and the food was delicious! Marie gave us so much wonderful information and background on the neighborhood! She knew the neighborhood and shared stories of the different streets and shops we visited and passed! Highly recommended this tour and Marie! Thank you Marie!💜
We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was Marie - what a hoot, and a fantastic lady! She took great care of us and made sure we took lots of breaks and were in the shade in the heatwave! We enjoyed every single stop and found it great value too as we didn’t need breakfast or lunch - come hungry! It’s also a great way to see Montmartre with a knowledgeable local guide, and you’re rewarded for all your walking with lots of sweet treats. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time and Kevan was a great tour guide. He’s super knowledgeable and so fun - what a great experience!
We (mom, 20yo, and 17yo) did the Montmarte pastry & chocolate tour on a Sunday morning and it was lovely. Local tour guide (Marie) was excellent. She’s lived in the area for 35 years and knows her sweets and streets. All of us enjoyed the information and the croissants, chocolate, Madelines, macaroons, eclairs, and crepes. Plenty of treats for the climb. All get spots. We even went back to visit a few on the descent.
What a joy this tour was! Monmartre is a whole vibe that’s just different from the rest of Paris, and our tour guide Marie was local specifically to this area! Her energy and kindness made this one of our best days in Paris! And the FOOD…we couldn’t even eat everything and had to take things to go! Marie was so knowledgeable and we learned (and ATE) so much!!!! I’ve already passed her info along to friends!
Great tour , highly recommend. Our famous guide Marie was kind, funny and knowledgeable. She really gave a great vibe to the tour. And the food was delicious. We only had 5 people in our group which was perfect because seeing other tours around of over 20 , ours was much more personalised. Thank you Marie !!
Fun and tasty tour with Rocco!
Great experience with Esther who was very knowledgeable , interesting and made us feel comfortable as we toured the area. One of the best guides we have had over many years.
Nino gave an amazing tour thru Montmartre. He is very personable and informative. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the food!
Hugo was an amazing tour guide. We had great food and he explained everything so well!
A good food and history tour! Kevin was our guide and is from the neighborhood and was very knowledgeable and funny and entertaining!
Rocco was amazing!! Knowledgeable, personal, caring and thoughtful of not taking a lot of stairs as well as making sure we were in the shade, filling water bottles, bathroom needs as well as taking care of my child who was sick. He was flexible a lot well.
Awesome your given by Lolla. We were the only people that booked it so it was essentially a private tour. Our tour guide Lolla spent her entire life in the area and was really knowledgeable about its history. She gave us little tips for after the tour to explore more. She was amazing.
The tour was great! I enjoyed the history as well as the food. Highly recommend.
We had the most wonderful time exploring Montmartre with our tour guide Lolla on this incredible walking tour! She was very knowledgeable of the neighborhood as she grew there and attended to all our needs. She even gave us her contact information in case we have further questions during our stay. The tour perfectly combines delicious small bites with the discovery of the neighborhood's hidden places. From sampling treats at famous local patisseries to walking down historic streets, the entire experience allowed us view this neighborhood in an authentic way.
The tour with Rocco was a lot of fun and we learned some interesting facts too 😍 Rocco guided us easily through the narrow and sometimes crowded streets of Montmartre. He had a very friendly, upbeat vibe and was always attentive that everybody could follow :) The tour was organized pretty well and the (mostly short) waiting periods at the various stops were spent with getting to know the others and the surrounding area 😚 My family and me loved the Eclair, but every stop was was worth it 😍 If you are/ your group is in Paris, this tour ist a absolute must in my opinion.
Our patisserie tour was such a lovely experience, for me it was the highlight of the trip! We got to taste all kinds of pastries and sweets and got a great feeling of Montmartre and its history at the same time. Our guide Rocco was amazing, I would definitely recommend him!
This tour exceeded my expectations (which were already high!) Rocco was a very charming and informed guide, a Paris local.
