Paris Seine River Champagne Tasting Cruise By Ô Chateau

Cheers to Ô Chateau and our sommelier for such a fantastic tour and tasting! We had 3 different champagnes and learned all about them (so delicious)! The group size was perfect, everyone was so friendly and we had seats right up in front of the boat for the best views! Our sommelier was fun and knowledgeable of both the champagne and the neighborhoods along the Seine. I would have loved to stay on the boat for another 30 min at least, the tour was only and hour and ended right as the Eiffel tower lite up. Thank you Ô Chateau!

This was one of our highlights. We booked the 6:30pm cruise. Had a lovely champagne tasting, with some education about Paris from our knowledge host, Clemon. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little something extra from a river cruise. For October, a 6:30 booking had us doing the cruise near sunset and then got off the boat in time to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at 8.

Our tour guide did a great job explaining the three different champagnes, the grapes in each bottle, and the different parts of Champagne France where the champagne is made.

If you love champagne and don't want to deal with some of the other Seine cruises that are overcrowded, then this is the best option. You get three glasses of champagne and a bottle to take home with you. You also get a private area at the front of the boat where you can drink your champagne and take pictures of beautiful Paris. Plus the staff from O Chateau are incredible!

This Seine River tour was amazing. We had a wonderful sommelier. We sat in a separate section up front and had private access to the outside

Excellent trip. Tasted three excellent champagnes (generous glasses) while cruising the Seine. The tasting is held privately on the front end of the boat with fabulous views and flexibility to be inside and/or out. The sommelier guide was so knowledgeable about the champagnes. Lovely early evening cruise. Don’t miss this.

This was the best! It was so fun and not at all packed. Easy to find and lots of champagne! Would reccomend!

This was a fun experience. The sommelier was interesting and very informative, he made the session fun. I won't give too much away! A tip though, nibbles are not provided, if you like to have nuts or similar with a drink, you might like to take something with you. The trip is a nice way to see Paris, especially if you've nit been before. We had a lovely hour soaking up the atmosphere with a drink or two.

I did this Cruise with my mother, sister and two teenage daughters. We found the sommelier would navigate towards some groups and stay talking to them (even when we would be standing next to him waiting for a glass of champagne). At one point another passenger said to him “excuse me those two women are waiting for drinks” he replied “oh yes I know” and carried on talking… this was rude and very unnecessary. We also had bought the ticket with a champagne of our choice. This was not the case. By the time we got our bottle it wasn’t what we had asked for but merely what was left. That was a disappointing way for our cruise to finish. The pros of this cruise are the views and in a relatively small group of people.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time on the Paris Seine River Champagne Tasting Cruise! The views of Paris from the Seine were beautiful, but what truly made the experience special was our sommelier. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about champagne, explaining each tasting and recommending several fantastic bottles to us. She also generously kept our glasses topped up with complimentary refills, which was such a thoughtful touch. On top of that, she happily took several photos of us, helping create wonderful memories. Her warmth and excellent service made the entire experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a relaxing and unique experience in Paris, this cruise is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

What a great time with our sommelier, Luciano! The champagne tasting group occupies the front of the boat, which is perfect for taking photos. I’ve been coming to Paris for 15 years, so this was more about the experience for me. I will caution if you want to get a full tour experience (be able to hear a guide explaining in detail specific points of interest), this may not be the experience for you. However if you are attending with the understanding you will get to see this beautiful city while experiencing beautiful champagnes and getting to hear about said champagnes from an extremely knowledgeable sommelier, I HIGHLY recommend this tour!!!!

It was a fun tour with informative commentary of the sights of Paris and the history and making of champagne. Our host was fantastic, she engaged with everyone and very friendly.

We enjoyed this cruise! We got three amazing champagne tastings and the guide explained them to us. The cruise is beautiful and relaxing. We got our own separate seating on a public boat that had a bar if you want more drinks or snacks and bathroom.

Great location with beautiful views of some of Paris's most scenic spots. It was easy to get to our meeting location, which made exploring the city very convenient. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The uber driver dropped us at the wrong place so we had a far walk to get to the embarkation point. I messaged and text the guide to no answer to let them know we were there and almost to the meeting point. We arrived at EXACTLY 6:30 the boat was still there. The captain just looked at us and laughed as they left us standing on the dock. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! It is also advertised as a small group, but I was almost glad we missed it because there were hundreds of people crammed on the boat looking miserable in the heat. I would give zero stars if possible.

Melanie was an AMAZING guide! Beautiful views from the Seine. The weather was hot the day we went, so offerings of water beside champagne was appreciated.

The directions were perfect, the staff was so kind and helpful, and cruise was wonderful. We enjoyed the different champagnes and the descriptions of the differences between them. Such a fun Parisian experience!

The cruise and tasting was very rushed. The cruise was barely an hour and we were given the second champagne after we had turned around at half way point. Disappointed as the reviews made it sound like it was a great excursion.

Give yourself plenty of time to get to the meeting point. The traffic, if you’re going by Uber, can really hold you up.

The champagne tasting was very nice, however, visitors beware- the boat employs very dishonest people who are thieves. I put my brand new Chanel sunglasses down for less than one minute and the bartender (not associated with the O chateau tour) stole them and vanished. I would never step foot on a Vedette boat again after knowing the poor quality of people hired to work there. It ruined my entire experience.

The champagne was flowing! Melanie was a great host, pointing out the sites, sharing details on the three types of champagne, and answering all questions. Normally a tour like this would be a small taste of champagne, but this was not the case! There was never and empty glass during the one hour tour.

Champagne was good, no commentary on sights along the river. We had tickets that included the free bottle to take. but weren't able to take the kind of champagne we liked at the tasting.

The Gentleman presenting the Champagne talked for too long. We sat ( special seating.... which was nice ) on the front of the boat and listened for 20-30 minutes ( selling Champagne... ) before we were given our glasses of champagne and allowed to walk out on the deck of the boat and take pictures... Nice boat ride up the Seine

This was an excellent experience. The reserved front section of the boat set up with a sommelier. We tasted 3 champagnes while being taught about them, the region and how to taste them was fabulous. I was in Paris for a short trip and this was one of the best parts of my time there. Tres chic.

A great way to learn about and enjoy Champagne while cruising down the Seine River in downtown Paris. At the same time learning about all the history of the bridges and buildings along the way. All this as the sunsets and the Eiffel tower lights up the sky.

I didn’t really know what to expect from this experience, but it turned out to be fabulous! I surprised my adult daughters with this champagne tasting / river cruise and they all loved it! Jasmina was our sommelier and it was obvious she loves her job teaching people about champagne. She gave just the right amount of information to make it informative, but still allowed us to see Paris as the sun set and everything became illuminated. We had amazing views and photos of the glowing Eiffel Tower. We were in a separate glass enclosed area with about 25 passengers and enjoyed taking our champagne outside to a special area on the front of the boat. It was a very special evening!

Such a unique perspective to cruise the Seine during sunset, culminating with the Eiffel Tower in full sparkle mode. Loved the champagne and option to take a bottle home.

This tour was a unique experience viewing sights in Paris at night from the river. The Champagne tasting was wonderful with a knowledgeable Sommelier, fun atmosphere, good conversation and tasty Champagne! Highly recommend!

They canceled the tour because they couldn’t reach the minimum amount of people. So instead they chose to ruin plans for my gfs birthday. Luckily we found another. If you’re reading this. Just prepare yourself because they might cancel if there isn’t enough people…

Our guide was well versed in the sights as well as the champagnes that we tasted. She was very open to answering all the questions we had.

Champagne tasting was amazing! Out guide was super nice and funny! She even gave us some history on France along the way!! The views of the Eiffel tower were breathtaking and Marie was exceptional!

My husband and I took a quick trip to Paris to see some sights we had missed on an earlier trip - notably the Eiffel Tower at night! What a beautiful way to see it, all while tasting 3 champagnes and learning about their production. Bastion was our guide and he did a wonderful job blending the discussion of champagne with the sights along the river. The cruise lasted about 1.5h and was worth the price. Because we were there in January, it was dark and the sights were lighted the entire cruise. C’est magnifique!
