The Arènes de Lutèce, located in the 5ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, are an ancient relic dating back to the 1st century AD. They were a Roman amphitheater capable of seating around 15,000 spectators. Used for gladiatorial combat and other public spectacles, they are one of the few remaining reminders of ancient Lutetia, the former name of Paris. Today, it's a public park, where you can still see the arcades and the shape of the circus. It's a tranquil spot in the heart of the Latin Quarter, combining history and relaxation.
The church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, located in the 6ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, is one of the capital's oldest churches. Founded in the VIᵉ century, it was originally a Benedictine monastery. Its architecture combines Roman, Gothic and modern elements, with a beautiful cloister and impressive nave. The church is famous for its historical and cultural role, particularly in the development of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, once an intellectual and artistic center. Today, it is a symbol of Parisian heritage, blending history and art.
Ile de la Cité is one of two natural islands on the Seine, in the heart of Paris. It's the city's historic birthplace, where Paris was founded in the era of the Parisii, around the IIIᵉ century B.C. It's home to iconic sites such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie, a former prison and royal palace. The island has a unique atmosphere, between its medieval alleyways, its quays lining the Seine and its historic buildings. It's a place steeped in history and culture, ideal for a stroll.
The Eiffel Tower, the emblematic symbol of Paris and France, is a 330-metre-high wrought-iron structure designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition. Located on the Champ-de-Mars, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the capital from its three publicly accessible floors. Day or night, illuminated by thousands of lights, it embodies Parisian romanticism and elegance.
The piers of the Seine in Paris are emblematic promenades along the river, offering spectacular views of the capital's historic monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Louvre. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, they are bustling with booksellers, terraced cafés and relaxation areas where pedestrians and cyclists mingle. Day or night, they embody Parisian elegance and are a popular place to stroll for locals and visitors alike.
The Trocadéro, located opposite the Eiffel Tower, is a vast area comprising the Trocadéro gardens and the square in front of the Palais de Chaillot. Offering one of the finest views of the Eiffel Tower, it's a popular spot for tourists and photographers alike. Its fountain-filled gardens, museums and terraces make it a must-see site in Paris, both majestic and lively.
A former aristocratic district, it still boasts sumptuous townhouses, some of which have become museums, such as the Musée Carnavalet and the Musée Picasso. Today, it's renowned for its cobbled streets, trendy boutiques, art galleries and lively atmosphere. Between the charm of yesteryear and contemporary effervescence, the Marais is a must for lovers of history, fashion and Parisian life.
Place Vendôme, in the heart of Paris, is a symbol of luxury and elegance. Designed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart under Louis XIV, it is surrounded by harmonious mansions, home to prestigious jewelers, haute couture boutiques and the famous Ritz. The centerpiece is the Vendôme column, erected by Napoleon as a tribute to his victories. A mecca of Parisian refinement, the square embodies the prestige and excellence of the French art of living.
Place du Tertre, in the heart of Montmartre, is an iconic Parisian landmark, famous for its bohemian, artistic atmosphere. A former haunt of painters and intellectuals in the XIXᵉ century, today it is bustling with artists who set up their easels here to create portraits and caricatures. Surrounded by typical cafés and restaurants, it offers a timeless charm, just a stone's throw from the Sacré-Coeur basilica. A true symbol of picturesque Paris, Place du Tertre attracts visitors in search of authenticity and inspiration.
The Basilique du Sacré-Coeur, perched atop the Montmartre hill, is a Paris landmark, recognizable by its Romanesque-Byzantine architecture and immaculate dome. Inaugurated in 1919, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the capital from its forecourt. The interior houses one of the world's largest mosaics, depicting Christ in glory. Surrounded by the picturesque narrow streets of Montmartre, it is a place of meditation and a must-see for visitors in search of authenticity and Parisian charm.
The Opéra Garnier, a XIXᵉ century architectural masterpiece designed by Charles Garnier, is a symbol of Parisian pomp and elegance. Inaugurated in 1875, it captivates with its sculpture-adorned facade, majestic marble grand staircase and sumptuous auditorium, overlooked by the famous ceiling painted by Marc Chagall. A mecca for lyrical and choreographic art, it hosts prestigious opera and ballet performances. Its grandiose architecture and captivating atmosphere make it one of Paris's cultural gems.
The Grands Boulevards, laid out under Louis XIV and embellished in the XIXᵉ century, are the vibrant heart of Haussmannian Paris. Stretching from the Madeleine to the République, they are lined with historic theaters such as the Folies Bergère and elegant covered passages such as the Galeries Vivienne. Renowned for their effervescence, they are home to department stores, lively cafés and legendary cinemas such as the Grand Rex. Between history and modernity, the Grands Boulevards embody the bubbling energy of the capital.
The Avenue des Champs-Élysées, often referred to as “the most beautiful avenue in the world”, stretches for almost two kilometers from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. Lined with luxury boutiques, department stores, emblematic cafés such as Fouquet's and theaters, it is a symbol of Parisian prestige. A mecca for celebrations and parades, it attracts tourists and Parisians alike. Day or night, it embodies the elegance and dynamism of the capital.
The Arc de Triomphe, located on the Place de l'Étoile, is one of Paris's most famous monuments. Built under Napoleon Bonaparte to celebrate his military victories, it stands 50 metres high and is adorned with sculptures depicting scenes from historic battles. Beneath its canopy is the Flame of the Unknown Soldier, a tribute to the soldiers who fell in the First World War. From the top of the Arc, there's a breathtaking view of the Champs-Élysées, the Obélisque de la Concorde and La Défense. It embodies the grandeur and military history of France.

Fun, exhilarating, informative and customizable. Didn’t know how a motorcycle ride would be but it proved more awesome than anticipated. Was great to see major landmarks and sights at night. Drivers were friendly and great.
My favourite excursion in Paris. Exhilarating! Frank was an amazing host and a true Parisienne driver! Lunch was delicious at the Retro cafe. Thanks Frank! Angela and Dave from Toronto.
So much fun and saw parts of Paris we didn’t really know as many streets were blocked because of the Pope being here at the exact same weekend as us
Absolutely fantastic way to see Paris. Booked this tour as a way to get a little break from all of the museums, but it might have been one of the best things we did in Paris. So much fun to see the city this way. Our guide, Frank, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw parts of Paris that we would never have seen otherwise. He gave us a great recommendation for a lunch stop as well. This tour is great for young and old alike!
Great fun and friendly drivers made the whole experience worthwhile. Easy to find the start point and saw Paris from a different perspective. Drivers were very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the buildings.
We spent a wonderful couple of hours being whisked around Paris by the delightful William. He was punctual, unfailingly polite and courteous, and most importantly, a good driver! It was a wonderful way to see the city at night and was the highlight of our trip….we would definitely recommend this experience.
It was great, but I only booked an hour and I would recommend an hour and a half at minimum or longer.
Wonderful tour with a lot of interesting facts about Paris. Our tour guide was great and went above and beyond to make things great for us.
This was an amazing experience. Worth the money. Retro tours made my birthday really memorable and special.
Great way to see the streets of Paris with my teenager. Frank took us to see places I had not seen yet. He was a great guide.
This was a great way to get an overview of the city! Our guide was great. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was wonderful and picked us up right outside our hotel. The motorbike was so sleek and stylish and people smiled at us all morning which showed a warm side of Parisian life. It was nice going the second morning so we had a minimal lay of the land and could absorb the landmarks a bit more. 10/10!
Had a wonderful time thanks to Gio, our tour guide! Booked the 1.5 hr tour and he asked us which side of Paris we would like to see. We chose Moulin Rogue and Montremre. It was perfect to just glide right up those steep hills! My 14 year old loved it! I sat on backseat and it was comfortable but be prepared to use those arm muscles to hang on! Gio was helpful, informative (pointed out a couple of nice restaurants!) and offered to stop at a little shop if we were interested in picking out a souvenir. He even dropped us off at a restaurant close to our hotel because we were hungry at the end! Thanks Gio!
Have an idea of what you would like to see. But guide will most definitely help you with a suggested route depending on time etc.
Ben and Gio were amazing and we had the best experience!!! Highly recommend this great way to see Paris!
Such a fun way to see Paris! Our driver was very knowledgeable and kind. We had a great time. The pickup at the hotel was so convenient!
This was a super fun way to see the Latin quarter in Paris. The streets were not too crowded and the scenery was beautiful. And of course, the sidecar is epic. The only thing I would say is that an hour does go quickly so you may want to consider doing this more customized for a longer tour.
Very personable and knowledgeable personnel. As unique and enjoyable experience allowing s trip around interesting Paris arrondissements.
Best possible way to see a lot of Paris quickly - and see Paris traffic up close and personal 😀!!!!
This one-hour tour was a ton a fun!! We were able to see so much of Paris that we would not have seen otherwise. Our tour guides / drivers were all knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic time on this tour. Travelling on a motorcycle and sidecar, our driver was able to get through tiny streets that cars are not able to get through enabling us to see a side of Paris that many do not get to see. Our driver was not only our driver but a very knowledgeable guide about French history. He was very accommodating in our requests for sights to see and recommended a few that we had not thought of. He also recommended a nice bakery to enjoy our lunch at. It was a fantastic way to see Paris. We would highly recommend this tour.
What a treat! Antoine is a fantastic tour guide and a delightful storyteller. He is so knowledgeable on French history and current culture as well. The sidecar tour was a perfect introduction to Paris, and we are so glad we started our visit this way. Antoine is proud of Paris and a perfect unofficial ambassador to this beautiful and fascinating city. Thank you, Antoine!
This was so fun and our guides were great with our kids. We did this on our first night in Paris and it was worth it!
Alex was absolutely amazing. This was the best day we had in Paris. He showed us so many sights we wouldn’t have gotten a chance to see. I highly recommend this tour and especially recommend Alex!!
This is a lovely intimate way to see all the touristy spots in Paris without the worry of crowds. Fun
This was one of our best tours!! We had 3 generations and all of us thought this was awesome! Fun, entertaining and informative! The guides (Frank, Chris and Tom) were outstanding and even helped us make lunch reservations! This made it easy and fun to see the entire city - even for my dad who walks with a cane. Do this - super cool tour!!
Such a fun way to see the city. Our tour guides were Alan and Antoine and they were excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and safe.
Timothy was a great guide, pointed out so many highlights, provided tons of info of all the sights and navigated us through the city streets with ease! Great way to see the city!
I took my 11 year old son for a Paris trip! This motorbike ride really made the trip special!
This is a fun activity and a great way to see Paris! Very unique and educational, the guides were excellent!
Our best highlight of visiting Paris for the day. Exhilarating experience with humour and history thrown in. A great way to see the big sights and feel the buzz of the city. Highly recommend it for anyone's trip to Paris.
Gorgeous burnt orange Ural motorcycle and sidecar driven by wonderful guide Alex. At the meeting point we discussed route options with Alex that would fit into our 90 minutes. Super fun way to get out and explore Paris. I highly recommend swapping throughout the tour so everyone can experience the different between being in the sidecar and riding on the back of the bike. Alex was a very good bike - happy not only to give us information on Paris and its history along the way but also answer our many questions.
This tour is everything!! We only had a day in Paris and Martin took us to see it all. After seeing the traffic upon arrival we were second guessing our decision of booking - but never once did we feel unsafe with Martin. If you are on the fence about it - just book it! You will have zero regrets. Honestly one of the best tours we’ve ever done.
The scheduled tour had some hiccups due to the revelers from the PSG football match. Sarah contacted me earlier in the day to change the tour start time and later to change the pick up place due to road closures and revelers. Emmanuel was my guide/driver for this fantastic tour! Unfortunately, again, due to the football match, we were unable to go to the Eiffel Tower. Instead, we spent time in the Monmartre area which was a beautiful area and stopped for pictures and to share points of interest. I would definitely book this tour again when we return to Paris. I would also request Emmanuel again. If you're looking for a fun and different experience on a vintage motorcycle, I highly suggest this tour!
I love love the sidecar experience. A great way to see the city, If you have been several times before.
We met our guide at our Hotel Giovani was our tour guide/driver through Paris He was extremely knowledgeable kind and helpful. Giovani made the experience amazing The motorcycle was very safe and it was so interesting to see folks taking pictures of us as we drove by . I must say we felt most privileged to be so fortunate to do this tour My one recommendation is to you ask for Giovani when you book the tour . The Pace was perfect. Again so happy to write this review to share our experience Suzanne
The whole experience was great fun .It made it even more fun because of our guide /driver , Giovani . It was worth the money and highly recommend
A fun enjoyable ride. With your driver guide you can agree what you want to see & where to go or you can use his recommendation. We used our drivers recommendation & went to Montmartre/Sacre Coeur. On a steep hill, so useful to avoid the walk up. We drove around small cobbled streets & enjoyed the Montmartre/Sacre Coeur atmosphere. The driver provided helmuts & gloves & would have provided a poncho if required, but no rain, so not required. This was a first for me as i had not sat on a motorbike before. A practical way of getting around areas of Paris. Our driver pointed out sights & gave us info during the trip.
This was by far the best experience we had in Paris. I first saw these guys about a year and a half ago in Montmartre, and I already knew that the next time we came to Paris, we had to do it. The drivers were fantastic — fun, professional, and full of interesting stories and historical insights about Paris. Depending on how much time you have, you can choose where you want to go, which makes the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. It was incredibly fun, we felt completely safe the entire time, and my whole family was smiling throughout the ride and even hours afterward. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and we would absolutely do it again.
We had an amazing time on the vintage sidecar tour! It was such a fun adventure and definitely a memory we’ll keep forever. Our guide, Timothy, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent navigator through the streets of Paris. He shared so many interesting insights and hidden details about the city that we never would have discovered on our own. This tour was a perfect way to see the highlights and major landmarks of Paris in a unique and exciting way. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Top marks for our driver Franck!!!! This is the best way to see all the sights - and Franck had all of the facts and the stories! Seriously - save your feet and hit hitch a ride. Be sure at least 1.5 hours but probably better to do 2+. Je veux remercie Franck!
This was fantastic, it was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Paris. The tour guys were very knowledgeable and great fun. They certainly know the roads and traffic, we felt very safe in their hands. If/ when we do another trip to Paris, we will do another tour with them for sure. Thank you Arristed (apologies for not checking how it's spelt) and Michael for making hubbies birthday special.
This activity is not cancelled even in torrential rain. The weather was so unbelievably bad that we could barely see due to the driving rain directly in our faces, and we ended up absolutely soaked through. Unfortunately, it made us ill for the remainder of our trip. We also couldn’t be dropped off near our hotel(where we were picked up), which meant we were left around 30 minutes away, soaking wet and miserable, trying to get back in those conditions. We appreciate that weather can’t be controlled, but under conditions that extreme, we do feel there should have been more consideration given to customer safety and comfort, such as offering guests the option to reschedule or cancel. The riders themselves were very kind and professional throughout, so this is absolutely not directed at them. However, we do feel management should place greater priority on customer comfort and safety when conditions become severe.
I went on this trip with my 60 something friend and we had a blast riding the motorcycle in the side car with Aristide. He took us to some of the most beautiful sites through the backstreet of Paris and we were able to go to some of the higher points in Paris to look out over the city. It was absolutely stunning. I totally recommend this tour along with our great tour guide Aristide.
Ask for Antoine to be your guide. He combines facts and history to provide you with a great experience
We toured the highlights of Paris with Alan on April 21, 2026 at 10 AM. We really enjoyed the experience! Alan was very knowledgeable and made the experience very fun. I was on the back seat of the bike and my wife was in the sidecar. We highly recommend this tour!
Great way to experience the Paris highlights. Very flexible setup. The great guides gave us a fun and enjoyable time.
We did a 1.5-hour sidecar tour around Paris on our first full day, and it was such a fun and unique way to start our trip. Timothy picked us up right at our hotel, we agreed on the route together, and he shared lots of interesting details about everything we were seeing along the way. The passenger riding on the back can hear the commentary better than the person in the sidecar, but the sidecar passenger definitely gets the better photo opportunities. It was exciting, memorable, and a little scary at times with the crazy Paris drivers — but that just added to the adventure!
This was so fun! It’s a great way to see Paris. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and it felt super safe. It was great. My kids absolutely loved it.
