Such a great tour! Learned so much about the area and got inside information that we would not have learned on our own. Lucille was the best!! She also recommended a great spot for lunch after our tour.

Itinerary
Located in a small square in Montmartre, the I Love You Wall is a poetic art installation featuring the phrase “I Love You” written in over 300 languages.
One of the oldest streets in the neighborhood, this bustling street captures the essence of Montmartre’s charm with its eclectic mix of cafés, boutiques, and historic architecture. Here, your guide will offer a glimpse into the area’s bohemian past.
Once a humble artists’ residence, the Bateau-Lavoir was home to legends like Picasso, Modigliani, and Braque, who revolutionized modern art.
This historic windmill, featured in paintings by Renoir and Van Gogh, is a beloved symbol of Montmartre. Once a popular dance hall, it now serves as a reminder of the neighborhood’s lively past.
Inspired by a short story by Marcel Aymé, this whimsical sculpture depicts a man walking through a wall. Located near the author’s former home, it’s a playful nod to the surrealism often associated with Montmartre.
Learn about the iconic French singer Dalida, a long-time Montmartre resident who is immortalized in this bronze bust. Located in a peaceful square, the sculpture has become a place for fans to pay tribute to her enduring legacy.
A favorite of artists and photographers, this quaint pink house has been an emblem of Montmartre for decades. Once frequented by Picasso and Utrillo, it now serves as a cafe offering delicious French food — and a great photo op on your tour!
Hidden in the heart of Montmartre, this small vineyard produces wine that captures the essence of the neighborhood’s history. Established in 1933 to preserve Montmartre’s winemaking heritage, it’s now a charming reminder of the area’s rustic roots.
Perched at the highest point in Paris, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica offers stunning views of the city and a serene atmosphere. Built in the late 19th century, its white domes and intricate mosaics are a marvel of architecture. Your guide will share tips on what to see inside if you decide to enter on your own after the tour.
This lively square is the heart of Montmartre’s artistic spirit, filled with painters, caricaturists, and street performers. Surrounded by cozy cafés and restaurants, it’s a perfect spot to soak in the bohemian atmosphere.
The entire walking tour is built around the area of Montmartre.
If upgraded, enjoy a 45-minute tasting of French wine and cheeses inside La Bonne Franquette. This historic building is the same place where van Gogh, Monet, and fellow artists used to dine. As you sip, you’ll learn about the terroir behind each glass and what makes French wines unique.

We had a lovely morning with our guide Flora. She was very engaging and we learned more about the neighborhood than if we had done it on our own.
Our guide Melanie was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. The group was great and we saw all the things you’d want to see and more in Montmarte
Tatiana, our guide was friendly and so knowledgeable. I learned a lot about this fabulous art district.
Great experience, great knowledgeable guide. The guide does make accommodations for those who have mobility issues throughout the tour as that requires a lot of uphill paths
We had a good walking tour with our terrific guide, Luz! The tastings were delicious but Luz also spoke so much about the art, artists, and history of Montmarte. Just wonderful
It was a large group of over 20, but our guide Sophie had total control during the tour and kept everyone engaged. Having snippets of music by Charles Aznavour, Dalida, Edith Piaf just brought the stories about their lives to life. 1.5 hours was the perfect length of time.
Sophie, our guide was brilliant. This counts among the best and most fascinating 90 minutes, I have spent in Paris or anywhere for that matter. This is a Must Do.
We are two senior couples. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today with David! We learned a lot about the history of Momontre, which David presented in a clearly well-researched way. Beyond that, he was most entertaining. Highly recommended!
Great tour . Anastasia was a lovely guide. Her love of the area and her subject made it s most enjoyable and edicational experience.
David did an excellent job walking us around Montemarte to point out the key sights while including his own perspective and personality. It’s exactly what we wanted!

This was a really wonderful tour and, if in Paris, you don't want to miss this area. Our guide was super interesting and knowledgeable.
Our guide Kato was terrific. Living in Montmartre it was clear she knew the neighborhood very well. While the tour was only 90 minutes, I felt she had covered a number of essential items about Montmartre and did not get deep into the weeds. She was easy to understand, clear in her ideas and answered everyone's questions. I found her to be a real professional and liked how she made time for each of the participants on the tour.

Anastasia a wonderful guide and showed us all some very interesting insights into the area, supported by the actual historical remanents we were looking at. She is very articulate and was happy to deal with any sort of question, however inane it would be. She is very passionate about her city. The subsequent food and wine tasting was a fabulous wrap up to a wonderful experience, with a great presentation through a variety of the country's offerings.
Anastasia was very knowledgeable and interesting. She was a joy to tour with…

Absolutely fantastic tour by Laura!! I've been to Monmartre a couple of times and have never seen it quite like this. We learned a good mix between the history of the area and famous artists who have spent time here. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
Amazing tour Laura was very informative and helpful
Great day with Laura !! Highly recommend
Our guide knew the history of Paris and took us to some very good bakeries and cafes.
María was an outstanding tour guide and provided lots of colorful details about past and present Montmarte. Highly recommend.
Anastasia provided a beautiful tour of Monmartre. Ensure you bring a water bottle and are okay with a hilly walk - not unexpected because of it being in Monmartre, but for visitors who don't know the area you should be slightly aware. I also added on a wine and cheese experience after and myself and another couple enjoyed our sitting at a local restaurant, enjoying at least four different wines and the Somelier was so fantastic - learned so much and made new friends.
Good tour. I would have liked more info about the various artists who lived in the area. Overall a good tour.
Tetiana was wonderful. She was very helpful when we had trouble at the beginning of the tour and made us feel very welcomed. The tour was fun and informative and the wine tasting we added on was really nice. I would recommend this tour!
Great experience. Very nice guide, Tetiana, interesting stops and explanations.

Enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide through a fascinating area
Montmartre is a good neighborhood to get a tour in, lots of history and cute streets that you wouldn’t otherwise know about. Our guide was knowledgeable.
Linda was a wonderful guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, and animated. It was a small group of all ages and showed the interesting parts of Montmartre. We made it to the top without taking any of the steps. A very nice, simple climb.
Location was easy to find as it is right in front of the church. We then toured the Montmarte district and it provided some incredible views of the area. We had Benedicte as our guide and she was really pleasant to be with and knew a ton about the area we were visiting. For under $40 a person, this tour is a no brainer.
Denise was exceptional ! Shared so much about art and the history of the area- we learned so much! And the wine tasting portion was amazing as well. Merci à tous!
David was the best! He took all of our different interests and focused on each one taking them into account. It was so informative both in history and the feel and vibe of the area. Highly recommend!
Dennis was a great guide, very informative, knew the areas we walked very well. Had some great stories to tell. I was the only participant, others no show maybe that is because the directions on google take you to the back of the church. Lucky for me a local told me where to go to get to the front.
Definitely not a good experience. The explanation of the guide was poor, basic and full of stereotypes. To be avoided.
Laura was so great! Learned so much about the neighborhood.
Our guide David was full of interesting facts, personable., Funny. We enjoyed every minute. This was my 3rd tour of Monmarte and I learned much more than the other 2 tours. David even spent an extra 30 minutes showing us more sites. Top notch.
Fanny was a great guide—friendly, enthusiastic and informative. Loved strolling streets before we reached crowded tourist sites. Enjoyed Fanny’s interesting anecdotes about people and places of Montmartre.
