Beyond what I expected! Hugo was so knowledgeable, friendly, and such an amazing Vibe. The assorted cheese was out of the park!! Macaroons!!! Beef Bourguinon, Crepes, and all the the things hands down amaze!!! With Hugo giving us history of the area, knowing so much and a beautiful singer!!! He did sing!!! Was amazing!!!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our guide, Marten, was fantastic—so knowledgeable about the history of Montmartre and full of interesting stories that really brought the neighborhood to life. He made the tour both informative and fun! The restaurants were incredible, and everything we tasted was delicious. It was the perfect combination of amazing food, local culture, and fascinating history. We loved discovering places we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Marten as your guide!

Oscar was lovely and knowledgable. Tour length was a decent time although perhaps needed more for the first food stop where we had wine so you didn’t feel you had to neck it. Perhaps a check in at the start of tour to go over the planned stops and if you don’t drink wine what can be offered instead but overall really good night, good helpful and friendly guide and nice food
Hugo is the coolest dude. He was super insightful about Montmarte, the food, the culture and history. He made our little group laugh lots and was just chill. Highly recommend and you should request Hugo. X

Our Guide Lolla was the best highlight of the tour. Due to bad weather the tour didnt have the best start, but Lolla made it work and it was a great experience. You can’t get a more local experience in food then this!

Charlie was an amazing guide. She took the time to answer all questions about the neighborhood. The food was outstanding. The patisseries and the cheeses and bourginoun was great. The shop owners were very friendly ans took time to answer all questions. It is a lot of walking and a lot of food so come very hungry.

We had a lovely time on the tour! Our guide was friendly and welcoming, and we met a wonderful group of people. We enjoyed the food and overall atmosphere of Montmartre. However, there are few things that I would like to highlight: I would have appreciated more historical context and storytelling. I understand this is a food tour, but having read other reviews praising the guide’s knowledge of French history, I was hoping for a little more insight into Montmartre and the places we visited. Some advertised stops, including the choux pastry and Wall of Love, did not happen and that was quite disappointing. As for the main meal, the restaurant experience could perhaps have been a little better. Our seating was too close to the live band and it was too loud for us to talk. It's a relatively minor point, but perhaps something that could be considered when arranging seating for future groups. Overall, a pleasant experience with lovely people, but a little more storytelling and better organisation would have made it even more memorable.

The Montmarte food tour was exceptional and Marie Pierre as my tour guide and hostess was a gem. Marie exuded confidence, knowledge and group love. She made everyone feel special. We were a group from around the world but she immediately made us feel like a family. Her knowledge of Paris on the hill and its cuisine was brilliantly displayed and delicious. Most of all I am grateful that she motivated me to climb the hills and finish the tour. My knees were challenged and I wanted to turn around. My wife and I could not have been happier with the Paris Montmartre Guided Food Tour. The tour exceeded our expectations. Thomas, our guide, was fluent in English but allowed me to practice my feeble French as well. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing and informative. We made five food stops, including a full lunch of beef Bourgignon at Adelaide restaurant (with wine), visited a shop for madeleines, another for macarons, a street vendor for crepes, and another restaurant for a cheese tasting, also with wine. In addition to learning about some French culinary staples, Thomas also provided a lot of information about Montmartre's history, and he took us to a number of landmark spots such as Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. It was so much MORE than just a food tour. I cannot recommend Thomas and this food tour highly enough. It's an incredible bang for the buck (or Euro).

He was great fun, full of personality and kept us laughing throughout. He made the whole experience feel relaxed, entertaining and genuinely enjoyable. My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed this food tour. Our tour guide, Marie, was excellent. She was patient, kind, and was a wealth of knowledge about Montmartre and was a local celebrity in the area. She seemed to know all the locals which made our experience richer. We would highly recommend her.
