Marina was beyond great-knowledgeable, patient and very thorough. Marais is a very cool place with a lot of history, art, shops, cafes and a very neat vibe.
Sasha was the best! We had a great time and he taught us so much about the history of Paris! Great way to start our trip- would go again for sure!
We truly enjoyed the historical walking tour “Paris Medieval Heart” through the ancient Marais district. The excursion was fascinating, informative, and beautifully organized, allowing us to fully experience the unique atmosphere of medieval Paris. Our guide Malkhas brought history to life with engaging stories, interesting facts, and vivid descriptions of the old streets, hidden courtyards, historic buildings, and famous landmarks of the Marais. It felt like traveling back in time while discovering one of the most charming areas of Paris. The tour was both educational and enjoyable, with the perfect balance of history, culture, and local atmosphere. We especially appreciated the guide’s professionalism, enthusiasm, and ability to make every stop memorable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover the rich medieval history and authentic spirit of Paris!
Malkhas was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour to see a unique part of Paris
A very informative and enjoyable tour around Le Marais with Sacha. He was great company, entertaining and showed us lots of hidden historical spots as well as lively areas with great food and shopping, without mad amounts of crowds. Even our teenagers loved it. Thanks Sacha!
Our young lady guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable - she had a history and art background. We were lucky enough to be the only couple on the tour - she showed us many historical and social sites and had us enthralled with her explanations and descriptions. Was one of the best tours we’ve done
The guide was well informed, well prepared, had a notebook of grand illustrations and pictures to show us at appropriate moments. It was a perfectly wonderful tour and our guide was great!
Sacha was our tour guide. Our group consisted of the 4 of us traveling together and another woman. It was great to have a small group. While the weather was not nice, Sacha did his best to bring the history to life. The tour was the perfect amount of time.
My tour of the Marais was even better than expected. Seeing inside the home of Victor Hugo was amazing. I knew the tour would include seeing where he lived but going inside was a nice surprise. Sacha was very knowledgable and made the tour interesting.
Our guide Maria was wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. We visited the Marais several times over the years but never with a guide. We discovered charming places we wouldn’t have found on our own. We recommend this experience warmly. We were only 4 of us and it felt like a private tour.
Our family of 5 joined Sacha (My Super Tours) for a 3 hour tour around the Marais area within an hour of our arrival in Paris. Sacha was charming and easy to warm up to and he understood our first impressions of the city having arrived by Eurorail. He quickly turned those around by guiding us through hidden gems and picturesque streets that felt like only locals know, all while weaving in interesting bits of history. Sacha didn’t just give us a tour - he gave us the confidence to explore Paris on our own by teaching us how to navigate the Metro. We ended our time together at a stunning overlook we never would have discovered without him. It was the perfect start to our trip. My 18 year old son just referred to Sacha as “epic.” We highly recommend Sacha and will absolutely look to him again on future visits to Paris.
Very informative on the sights and history of the Marais. The view from the top of the Pompidou Center was fascinating and helpful.
Max is a knowledgeable, engaging and articulate guide. Starting at the place de la Bastille and finishing at the top of the Pompidou centre, it felt like a very well thought out journey through Paris’ fascinating medieval origins bringing us up to the modern day. I would particularly recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of Parisian Jews. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you so much Max, it was a highlight of our trip. As was the restaurant he suggested for lunch! (L’As du fallafel)
Malkhas was Great!!! Best tour in Paris!! We learned so much and the end spot overlooking Paris was fabulous ending. We highly recommend!
A fantastic insight into Le Marais district, from it's royal history, Jewish history, architectural influences and amazing stories along the way, told so well by Sasha. Sasha digs deep into the soul of this place and really delighted us with his stories and showing us hidden gardens, medieval architecture and more that we never would have found on our own. I highly recommend this tour.
Sasha was an extremely knowledgable and affable guide. It happened that we were the only two people on this tour and what a privilege that was. It was like having a well-read friend show us the secrets of Le Marais and explain some of the history. Thank you Sacha, we loved your tour. If we had more time we would have booked more of Sasha's tours.
Maria was extremely knowledgable and personable. It was an excellent overview of the Marais and 2.5 hours well-spent.
The meeting place was difficult to find, never did find it. Other groups meeting there could not help us. Got there 20 min before 10 tour, left very frustrated after searching for 40 min! Terrible experience!!!
Very interesting tour. I discovered very interesting and very moving places like the Jardin des Rosiers Joseph Migneret . Our guide , малхас, Malkhas , was very erudite.
Very informative and enjoyable tour. Sacha had a great knowledge of the area and its history. Visited some hidden gems.
Our tour guide Sacha was exceptional. His knowledge in French history was outstanding. He was engaging, and interactive. Highly recommended. “le quart d’heure de politesse” was a plus.
Maria was very knowledgable and pleasant. She brought us places we would never have seen. She did a great job communicating the history of the places we visited.
Maria was a perfect guide for our tour of Marais. She knew her history and was able to take us to different times as we walked. She brought us places we would never have known about. We enjoyed every minute.
We were traveling with our 10-year-old granddaughter, and Sacha was just perfect for us. He is very knowledgeable and able to engage all of us. We unexpectedly were the only people on the tour, which was quite a luxury, as we were able to ask all of our questions and make a couple stops along the way for things that were of interest to us and still have time for a very thorough tour of the fascinating history of the Marais. I recommend the tour, and Sacha!
Very informative, interesting guide who knows his history well. We learned a great deal about this historic centre
Malkhas was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, kind and fun. Happily answered all of our questions and was eager to share highlights of this city. Highly recommend
Sacha was incredible. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would take this tour again! Highly recommend. He was very kind and talked us about all things. The sights were great.
We had a lovely guided tour of le Marais with Sasha. It is a beautiful neighborhood with lot of history. Sasha is a passionate guide with in depth knowledge of the area and it's history. HR had many stories and trivia to share. We were lucky to be the only two people on the tour and got Sashas full attention :)
Lucie was an outstanding guide. She offered historical information, took us to hidden gardens we never would have found on our own, included the important sights, and provided an excellent orientation to the Marais.
The tour with Elizaveta was the best we have ever had!! She was so lively, entertaining and informative! We will definitely be getting another tour with her next time we’re in Paris.
Beautiful tour of Marais neighborhood with Maria! She was very friendly and pleasant and gave us a lot of information about the area. We were so inspired that we went back after the tour to explore the squares, to eat in the Jewish quarter restaurant that she pointed out, and just to walk around admiring the architecture.
We arrived to start our walking tour of the Marais district with our guide Lucy to find that we were the only two people on the tour. Lucy was charming, very knowledgeable and a great guide. We stopped off at Royal squares such as the beautiful Place des Vosges, which included a quick visit to Victor Hugo's house/museum, and walked through less well known parts of the Marais such as the historical Jewish Quarter. We finished with a great view of Paris from the 5th floor of the Pompidou Centre. It was a very enjoyable and informative morning.
We had a lovely walking tour with Maria in the Marais district. She was very knowledgeable and showed us parts of Paris we hadn’t seen before.
What about...what is there to see? One of the most beautiful neighborhoods (in my opinion, of course) in Paris. From seeing Place Des Vosges to the Carnavalet museum to medieval buildings to just walking through one of the most refined, intimate, multicultural and livable neighborhoods (as a tourist, I speak of course), just a stone's throw from almost any classic destination.
Excellent hiking: a small group with an excellent Russian-speaking guide Valeria (not boring, finishing the isthfac, listening to one pleasure)
