This was such a great activity! It was fun not just doing the typical site seeing while traveling. Our baker was very friendly. It was nice being able to take the macarons home as well.

Itinerary
Learn how to make the iconic French "Macarons"! In the 16th century, it was the favorite pastry of the famous French Queen Catherine de Medici. Since this day, many pastry chefs had and continue to have fun with this recipe, like Pierre Hermé or Cédric Grolet. Today, you can come and learn how to bake your 2020 version macarons ! During this interactive cooking lesson, you will be hands-on in the kitchen. Equipped with an apron and all the utensils you need, you will learn how to make your own macarons step by step, also picking the flavor of your choice ! We are professional chefs creating French culinary experiences. Our passion comes from our families and our precision from the chefs we have met. We crafted this hands-on, intimate experience for 6 to 8 attendees. Our fully equipped workshop. This building is rich with history as is...the heart of Paris! We are delighted to welcome our guests to our new pastry studio located in the Place des Vosges in the 3rd district. This is a historic location and we are thrilled to be a part of it! The Marais is renowned for its contemporary art galleries, young designers, & typically Parisian atmosphere.

we had an incredible time. The instructor was very detailed and hands-on with us through the process of macaroons were a remarkable success.
We had a great time. We have never made them before and loved doing it. The teacher was great and the class was fun.
Fun, educational experience. Leslie was interesting, fun and a great teacher! Lots of choices to personalize your macarons. Leslie was fun and had a good sense of humor.
Felix was a fantastic instructor! The class is small, which is really nice. Overall a great time, and we even left with really pretty macarons!
It was great! Our baker was very friendly and welcoming. She remembered our names from the 1st introduction and that is notable. Our macaroons turned out great!
Maggie led the class with great care, teaching a class with some nouveau aspirant-macaron-bakers. I left inspired to continue baking this delicious dessert. It is a class worth taking, and you leave with a box full of your creation.
We took the macaron class with Julie, 10/10 experience. Very intimate group as it was 4 of us, plus the instructor. Loved the 1-on-1 and the detailed attention we all received. A very good recipe for macarons and was one of my mom’s and I’s favorite experiences on our trip!
A very personal hands-on small group baking experience. Excellent pastry chef easy to follow directions I learned so much and the macaroons were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in baking French macaroons.
A wonderful experience! So fun! Our pastry chef was so personable, knowledgeable, and helpful! She interacted with us the whole time and gave lots of information! The macarons were absolutely delicious!
This was one of the best baking classes that our group has taken. Our instructor was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with some non bakers in the group. Our macarons turned out perfect.
What a wonderful experience! We made over a dozen macarons that tasted very good even though they looked a bit imperfect. The teacher, a former ballet dancer and professional baker, was wonderfully charming and helpful. I definitely recommend this activity as would my 16yo daughter who took the class with me. Merci!
We learned how to make macaroons and it was amazing! Julian the chef was amazing and the class was a wonderful experience!
Learned some great tips for making Macarons. Chef was very energetic, patient and helpful. He even recommended a great place for dinner that evening.
Our macaron baking class was amazing! So fun and a perfect family activity. Our group ranged from 11 years old to 80 years old! Our instructor Julie was a great teacher, so patient and friendly. She also gave us recommendations of local eateries and bakeries. We would highly recommend this class!
This experience was so fun! We loved learning to make macarons as a family! They turned out absolutely delicious!!
We always try to book a cooking/baking class whenever we visit another country. This small-group macaron class was exceptional! Leslie guided us expertly through the process. Although some of the steps were done for us (for the sake of time and precision, I'm sure), it didn't diminish the experience at all. We had all the right tools, lots of options for colors and flavors, and a perfect amount of humor mixed in to make this a lot of fun. On top of everything, the finished product (about 30 macarons EACH!) was beautiful and delicious. In fact, I absolutely believe (not being hyperbolic!) that our macarons were superior to several we bought from local shops! The recipe they shared with us looks daunting (11 pages!), but includes all the fine details to attempt another batch on our own. This one is a MUST-DO on your list of Paris activities. There's no way you'll be disappointed.
It was okay. Small rooms and very controlled so you don’t mess it up. Fun to pick colors and flavors.
No matter your cooking experience, this class was very well taught and we all learned something new.
This is a fun, informative session. We got lots of tips on how to make the perfect macaron. Our patisserie chef was so helpful had a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend the experience.
It was a fun class and we enjoyed learning that making macarons is not too difficult. Our Teacher was very friendly, helpful and fun to be with.
Absolutely fun and a must do. Our chef (Lancelot) was fantastic with the kids. Macaroons tasted amazing. Whole family has a blast
The whole experience was fabulous. The instructor was so engaging. The class was educational & entertaining. We would take the class again. Lorenzo did a fabulous job of explaining the steps, and modeling what needed to be done. It was the perfect way to start a day in Paris.
It was a wonderful and yummy experience. Had my 12 year old granddaughter with and she loved it. Very organized and easy instructions. Our instructor was amazing
This was a fabulous experience. The baker was friendly, efficient and helpful. My daughter and I did the class together and it was a highlight of our trip to Paris. The macarons were so yummy! Would do this again and based on this experience, I would take more cooking classes in the future…
Me and my daughter’s favorite thing we did in Paris. It was the perfect activity to do during the day especially during the heat wave. Classes were very personal and light. Our instructor became my daughter’s favorite person in France. Would highly recommend to anyone. Myself (36) and my daughter (11) would absolutely do this again at the same place and make something new next time.
My 20 year old daughter loves to bake. I signed us up for this class after reading great reviews. The class is 2 hours long and you simply show up at the address. Rosalie was our pastry chef and she was a phenomenal instructor. She explained the instructions and demonstrated for the class. She would walk around and check everybody's work. This lead to all of us successfully baking macarons! Rosalie is patient amd delivered instructions so thoroughly. There were only 5 people in our class. After baking our macarons, Rosalie showed us some inspiration that she saved photos of. Everyone in the class created their own designs amd we all swapped colors to get creative. This was so fun! At the end of the class, my daughter and I each left with over 29 macarons. I chose vanilla flavor, she chose lemon. She gave us a box and we were able to choose a sticker. We can make macarons amd so can you! I highly recommend this class! My daughter said it was one of her most favorite activities in Paris! Merci mille foisted Rosalie!
Very fun and informative! I’m an avid baker, who has attempted macarons many times. I believe this gave me what I needed to be successful at home!
The Viator platform completely dropped the ball on this booking and sent me and my daughter to the wrong address. Had to call an Uber at the last minute to drive us across Paris to the right address, and missed a big part of the activity. This caused us immense stress, extra fees and ruined the experience.
A great experience. Not as complicated as expected as Nickolas explained each step in detail. One of the best things we did while in Paris. The studio was very clean. Nickolas was very friendly. Showed amazing patience as we had 3 children under age 10 in our class.
So much fun and there were two classmates the same age as my granddaughter s Which made it more fun for her!
Alice was terrific! Take the class in the beginning of your trip and save money buying other macarons! You will have about a dozen to take away to share or enjoy!
We were really looking forward to a fun, engaging baking experience. Unfortunately, what we got was the opposite. The instructor was unfriendly, unpleasant, and brought very little energy or enthusiasm to the session. The class felt flat and unengaging — our kids were bored, and our friend, who is an avid home baker, left feeling uninspired and unmotivated to ever attempt macarons at home. That really says it all. We wanted to leave with happy memories, great photos, and a story to tell when we got home. Instead, we left wishing we had spent our time differently. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share this so others can make an informed decision. This class was a significant miss!
The filling ganache was flowing all over. The macroons were hard - it was very unfriendly and rude experience. It was not a personalized experience it was like let's get through and move to next
This fun class will teach you how to make your own amazingly good small macaroons. They are better than ones I later bought in Paris. Hint: only buy small macaroons; the large ones are very disappointing after taking this class. You will go home with a box of delicious macaroons to enjoy during your time in Paris. The recipe is provided so you can reproduce the macaroons at home to amaze your family. Or hold a macaroon making party and amaze your friends!
This was a perfect activity in between all the museum tours! Rosalie was our pastry chef and had patience and knowledge. She made this hands-on baking class so much fun. The macarons were delicious!
Connie was a highly fun, engaging and knowledgeable. Our group of 6, consisting of teens, pre teen, adult and senior, was well-catered to, regardless of age. Her expertise ensured that we did not miss out on any of instructions and received an we all email of recipe. As a grandparent traveling with my granddaughter in Paris who needs constant activities. I would highly recommend Connie as your instructor for the Macaroon baking class. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I did this baking class for my 17 year old daughter. It was great. Our patissiere was Clara and she was a great teacher. I'm excited to try my luck at home now!
A must do adventure when you are in Paris Very fun, informative sesseion. You will definitely be a pro when you leave 🤩
This is such an amazingly cool thing to do!! Our baking chef, Leslie, was spectacular and knowledgeable! My macarons were tasty and beautiful! I'll be making these back home! Thanks for a great class!
Me, my husband and our 8 year old attended the macaron class today with Felix as our chef. We had such an amazing time! Felix made it fun and easy for us, and the end product was really impressive. Great family activity; I’d do it again in a heartbeat! My only regret is not booking the croissant class as well!
We booked this class not having any idea what to expect nor having the slightest idea how to make macarons. There were 8 people in our class (one child, 2 teens and the rest adults) and the instructor worked well with all of us. She was very patient and gave us lots of pointers. We each went home with a box of macarons that we made ourselves. Fun activity for the whole family. Highly recommend!
One of the highlights of our trip, we went with our 5YO son and he was engaged and entertained the whole time. I couldn’t believe how good our macarons came out!
The instructor Leslie was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with everyone. She explained the process step-by-step and assisted everyone in the group meeting their individual skill level. She was patient, engaging, and the entire process was fun. We laughed and made the most delicious macarons..
Creating macarons is delightful! I really enjoyed the experience! And so did my adult son! It was really a great way to spend time in Paris!
Our chef was very congenial and clear in explaining how to do the recipe. He demonstrated just enough and we were able to be very hands on.
My husband and I went to a macaron baking class at Maison Fleuret. It was an excellent class! One of the highlights of our week in Paris. I have never taken a cooking class in Paris before although I have wanted to. It was just soooo hot out so it was the perfect moment and we were very, very, happy!! We had an excellent instructor - Lois - who, in addition to being a great instructor, was as charming as could be! The macarons are delicious! Can't wait to try them out at home!
It was amazing. Everyone needs to experience this. So much fun not only making them but also eating them. The Baker was amazing.
Great fun! There were 8 of us in the class from 4 countries. Our teacher was Alice. The ingredients were pre measured. Alice helped us through all the steps. Yummy macarons when we were done!
The macaroon class was great, would highly recommend. The class size was small, the perfect size. Instructor was very helpful, made the morning fun and was very educational to be able to do at home. Got to take home what we made which was a bonus. Would highly recommend.
