The Italian person doing the tour could not even pronounce the name of the Louve correctly. She asked when we all got together what is the most important thing we would all like to see. All 20 people said the Egyptian exibit . She knew the exibet was closed and never told us. Instead of showing us painting she spent most of our time in Roman statues, trying to explain who they were made. She ignored what people where asking and made us climb stares up and down then back up again when we could have just done it once to get to the sane part. I am so very sorry to have taken this tour. Never. Again

The Louve is very busy so the way to go is with a guide. So knowledgeable. No wasted time running around.
Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, Le Louvre was on strike the day we went so we had to wait about 2 hours before having access.
The tour started one hour late due to mismanagement of tickets for the group. A random family had joined and they did not properly check everyone in which created the mismatch in tickets. The tour started at 10:30. We did not enter the museum until 11:30. Once inside, tour was average.
This was not worth the money, our guide did not give a knowledgeable tour it was only an hour walked through three sections and then left the group an hour early! Could have done the tour alone very disappointed!
We really enjoyed this tour of the Louvre. Our tour guide (I wish I remembered her name!) was entertaining, interesting and very knowledgeable. It was very crowded in the museum but she handled our large group very well even without one of those flags. I am so happy we chose this tour - learned a lot and look forward to coming back to see more!
This was an amazing tour! Eloise was great! We covered a lot and she was very informative and personable! Definitely a tour to do!
This was the perfect way to see the Louvre. We were able to bypass all lines on a very crowded day. Anthony was excellent. He navigated us through a see of people and gave us the right amount of information to keep us engaged without getting bored or overwhelmed. I loved the extra stories and details that made the experience fun and interesting!
Julie was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire tour so enjoyable. She brought the history to life without ever making it feel overwhelming, and she was fantastic about answering questions and making sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having a great experience. We learned so much and genuinely enjoyed every minute. Julie was a highlight of our time in Paris — highly recommend!
Meeting place was clear with helpful directions and coordinate's to find on google maps or Waze. Tour had group of about 16 people. We were given headsets to hear Anthony who was our wonderful, knowledgeable, personable and fearless guide. Before we started, he took the time to greet and connect with each one of us. We did not stay with the tour as we wanted to go off and explore everything our own which was allowable and up to us. But Anthony made sure he got us inside with the group tickets before letting us go free so we would be all set. Excellent way to see the Louvre since the tickets sold directly through the Louvre was sold out. Also Viator did a great job of sending us updates and reminders to make sure we were on track and had a good experience. We highly recommend this.
Wonderful tour, guide was great. Got to see all of the must sees. Orsae was our guide and she was charming, informative and kind. Very much enjoyed our tour!
Tour guide very knowledgable and provided excellent background on some important paintings. Over 40 years of experience!!
Overall, I was not impressed with the Louvre. It was packed and is massive and found it to be very overwhelming. Our tour guide was informative but due to the high ceilings and crowds, her microphone was picking up all kinds of background noise and most of the tour group took the whispers out by the end due to the annoying noises. We had to stay very close to the tour guide to hear. The Mona Lisa is tiny and you had to fight the crowd to even get close to it. Not a horrible experience but definitely a one and done.
Tour guide started punctually the tour. The Lourve Musuem is rather large so it’s good to have someone knowledgeable to guide you through the major highlights/exhibits. This was my second visit to the Lourve in 2 years. I learned much more than I did my first visit.
I truly enjoyed my tour and my tour guide was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable patient and professional.
The tour was really too short. We saw just a few pieces, and while the stories and education behind the Women of the Louvre were great, it took 25% of the tour's time (30 minutes) just to get into the building and provide bathroom break for the group. Nothing wrong with the tour other than it was just too short.
We meet outside and bypass lines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the session was very informative
Great tour guide, easy access to museum, perfect 2 hour highlights. Stories behind the highlights were informative and easy to follow.
It includes some of the history of the Louvre and hi lights some very specific pieces of the artwork and sculptures in the museum. The Louvre is very crowded so be ready for that! It was hard to hear our guide on the audio earpieces provided but she worked to improve after she was made aware of the issue. Amalie was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Louvre and its evolution over the years to become what it is today!
This was the highlight of my trip. Saw some master pieces I wanted, the tour guide was amazing, handled a big group well. Will definitely recommend it.
Our guide Sophie was very knowledgeable of the history of the Louvre including both the building itself and the vast collection. Any brief tour depends on the editing of the guide and she did a very nice job of selecting critically important works from the collection for emphasis and discussion at some depth.
Very informative experience. I would recommend to everyone. It’s so unbelievable, I could have stayed all day.
It was horrible. The meeting spot wasn’t clear or easy to find. The hearing ear piece was the worst. It didn’t stay on. Ear buds work alot better and should be used. Also sanitation wise ear buds are better.
This was the best tour of the Louvre that I have taken! The guide took us through the important art works at a very good pace.
Anthony, our guide, could have been more succinct in his explanations & could have spent more time on the paintings & other artwork & less time on the underground foundations. Less martyrs/religious paintings & more on a variety of artists. Even though the Louvre has one of the largest collections in the world, I don’t want to ever visit again. And I am an artist!
The sound system is inadequate. The guide had the Mic way down on her blouse and she spoke softly and the louvres is very loud and echoy. The things to put on your ear don’t stay on your ear. The guide lacked warmth. she was just going through the process with very little enthusiasm. She somehow expected us to be art students which made no sense. This is not a tour I would recommend to others.
The Louvre is massive and extremely popular. The guided tour, helps with the "skip the line" entry process, gives you the highlights of the exhibit halls and then the tour is over giving you plenty of independent time to explore the exhibits that hold the most interest for you. One note, the Louvre will not permit umbrellas into the exhibit halls. We were scheduled on a rainy Paris morning for our tour. Our guide failed to mention that to everyone until we were making our way up the escalators, only to be delayed until umbrellas were checked. It seems that is the kind of information a "guide" should be pointing out in advance.
Trying to see famous artwork with people from all around the world, under one roof, is so much better with a guide! Timed, fast entry allows you to skip the line & get to these gems quickly, without hassle, so GET A GUIDE!!!
Tour was awesome! We didn't have the whole day to visit, and this tour gives you all the popular highlights about the museum within a couple hours. Our guide had great knowledge of the museum. He got us right up front and in the door past the lines. Would highly recommend this tour.
Even though the Louvre was very crowded it was easy to hear the guide and follow her. She had so much knowledge about the museum and what was in it.
The only good thing about this tour is that it got us to skip the lines to entry. The tour guide seemed like a nice person, but was not an engaging presenter or speaker, and did not stop long enough in front of the places we wanted to really see. The tour started with 18 people. Half of the group had peeled off before we got 45 minutes into the tour. We left soon after, and it was the best decision we made. It's too bad we had to spend $300 to do it.
Laurence had Excellent knowledge, responsible, a lovely person. Always concerned nobody was lost from the group
The Louvre is massive and often crowded. A guide can make your visit more pleasurable by providing insight and advice.
Our tour guide was excellent. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were very glad to have a guided tour at the Louvre since it is a massive museum. We would not have known all the information without our guide. My only complaint is the time of our tour was changed after I booked it and rescheduled for a later time. That was communicated to me but our tickets which we didn’t use continued to say the original time. We were given a meeting spot but no other info as to who we were looking for. Other than that it was a very good experience.
We had a good tour of the Louvre and were able to see the major pieces of artwork. The museum is enormous so any time you can get a guide to take you from place to place, it is a good thing. We didn’t get much history of the different pieces of art but that wasn't what we were looking for. At the end of the ~1.5 to 2 hour tour, we were left to roam on our own. We spent an additional hour in the Napoleon III Apartments which are definitely worth seeing especially if you cannot fit in a visit to Versailles.
Highly recommend this tour, makes viewing the louvre so much easier, skips the long lines, navigates to highlights and gives insight. Such a massive place would be hard to see on your own.
Good guide, knowledgeable and friendly . She should have had a flag or deniable marker since it was sometimes hard to see her in the crowd.
The guy we had for the tour he was amazing and friendly definitely get him as a tour guide because he was just on point 👉 from 1/10 he was a 20
We loved the tour, well worth the price! Knowledgeable guide, little queueing. Particularly enjoyed the guide's explanations on what makes an artwork become an international "sensation" amongst the many equally masterful pieces. Tech provided was also excellent, always hear your guide talk clearly. Highlights were chosen well and we received great advice and a mapto discover more on our own after the tour.
The tour was fast pace, but there is so much to see. Our tour guide was amazing taking us to see the highlight attractions of the Louvre. He was very friendly and we enjoyed hearing him tell us about the exhibitions. I recommend the tour, if you think 2 hours isn’t enough you will have the opportunity to continue to explore on your own once the tour is over. Be prepared to walk a lot.
Great tour of the Louvre. Julie was easy to locate at the beginning. She did a great job educating us on the history of the Louvre and some of the most famous sculptures and paintings. Small group is the way to go!
The guide, Manos, who met us at the meeting point in Paris, was very organized and helpful at explaining to everyone the train travel to Versailles and how to return to Paris after the tour. Our guide, Mathieu, who took over for the tour of Versailles and the gardens, was very knowledgeable, easy to follow and interesting. We were very pleased with this tour.
Our guide, Matt, was excellent. He was super informative but also very funny and kind. Would highly recommend!
The Louvre is really crowded , our guide was fantastic getting us to the main exhibits ! His commentary was very good and fun! We stayed after the tour and visited other areas .
Paris was on strike, so our tour was delayed two hours, but our guide made the best of it. Tour guide was effecient at showing us the highlights.
Tour was led by a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We enjoyed the tour very much but wish it had been just a bit longer with more paintings.
I had a great time on the tour. The guide was wonderful, she was upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job keeping the tour moving.
We did a skip the line small guided highlight tour with Mika. She was highly knowledgeable and we learned so much from her!! We would definitely recommend this tour!
Such an experienced tour guide! My daughter who went to Italy this summer said it was best tour guide she has ever had. Well worth seeing and having someone who knows all the stories to bring what you’re seeing extra special.
Smooth tour that was just right to see some of the highlights. recommended if 2 hours on your feet is enough.
