Our guide Simon was a riot. We had so much fun with him sharing local knowledge about those hidden gems. Was so accommodating for all participants. Appreciated sharing with us local Parisian habits that will stay with me forever. Loved all the accents and humour in leading us into some real hidden gems that are off the beaten track including where Emily’s life takes place in Paris.

A great way to see Paris! Combine some exercise with learning about Paris’ hidden gems and history. Cedric was a great guide: knowledgeable and a very good storyteller.
Simon was a great guide and even though I was nervous about riding in Paris he did a great job job of keeping us safe and explaining the safety rules. Simon had great stories.
What a fun way to tour Paris, learn its history and learn abou its culture. Our guide, Ryan, kept things fun and interesting. We saw places we wouldnt have discovered on our own and came away with a greater appreciation of the city and its famous former inhabitants.
Great way to see the city and get a history lesson.
We did the Hidden Bike Tour in Paris last month, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience! Our bike guide, Jude, was not only very knowledgeable, informative, and friendly, but he was also very respectful by navigating us in the safest way possible, ensuring we all stayed together (our group had 9 participants). If my husband and I had more time, I know we would have taken other tours with Bike About Tours. I highly recommend them, without hesitation! And starting at the Peleton Cafe was a bonus!
Great tour! I haven’t ridden a bike in over 20 years but it was easy to get on and ride. Our tour guide Joaquin (sorry, I’m sure I spelled that wrong) was awesome. It was a little windy and cold that day but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Our guide Simon was fantastic, informative and entertaining. The biking was easy! Very enjoyable!
Simon was our guide and he was great. Even though it was a lite rain for the first half of the tour - we laughed as we rode along the streets of Paris enjoying interesting sites... we come to Paris at least once a year and we saw hidden gems we had never seen.. plus he showed us a few extra items because the group was interested. He shared great stories and will be back.
Enjoyed the experience - didn't see as much as i thought we would - and heard too many stories about people reacting to Simon bringing the pelaton outside their house. Was entertaining - if not the most informative tour
Our bike tour with Simon was excellent. Simon was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. The pace and length of the ride was very good. Liked that it was a small group and Simon made everyone feel comfortable. Highly recommend this tour.
Just spun through Paris with a wonderful, knowledgeable, and funny Australian-Parisian guide Simon. Super fun, nice too enjoyed the leisure, lovely ride.
SIMON was great tour guide . He rescued my friends a few times when they fell off their bikes very knowledgeable funny and I highly recommend !The bike ride is pretty easy and we went in the pouring rain and still managed to get through. Great tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour! Part of what made it so great was the guide Simon. He was super knowledgeable, flexible (some roads were closed due to the Pope’s visit), and very funny! My kids especially loved the tour because of his constant humour! We got to see some incredible places that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise.
A very enjoyable three hour ride round the paris latin quarter - saw many things we wouldn't normally see in paris - and heard stories about people reacting to simon doing bike tours - missed out lots of things i expected to see - but enjoyable never the less
I took the hidden Paris ride. Very enjoyable
Simon was hilarious and provided an entertaining “off the beaten path” tour of the city. Thanks Simon!
Simon really took his time to share anecdotes and stories about the area. The trip was fun. We stopped at a cafe for a cocktail.
Our tour guide, Simon, was super fun. He had some excellent stories and was quite knowledgeable about the hidden local spots in France. He took time to make sure we had our bikes set up correctly, and we rode a combination of back roads and main roads and felt safe, especially riding on the opposite side of the road to normal. I really enjoyed the rest stop where we could sit and enjoy a quick snack and a drink.
Our guide Simon was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Paris, and told lots of entertaining anecdotes on the way. The tour was an easy ride through quiet streets in an attractive part of town, including a cafe break in a beautiful square, and we learnt some unexpected things about Paris - some of them were even useful!
Simon was a fantastic guide. Funny, knowledgeable and told a ton interesting stories based on his personal experience. We had our kids (8 and 11) and while Paris is a very busy city we followed a route that was relatively easy and relaxing for them to ride. This was the highlight of our trip!
Ryan was fantastic and so funny ! Enjoyed it very much
Marley was a fantastic host and the tour couldn’t have been more enjoyable or interesting! Definitely would recommend!
Excellent informative tour, with probably the best guide I've ever come across! Not necessarily for knowledge (although this wasn't lacking!) but for overall entertainment value and personality - Simon Jones take a bow!! Would recommend to anyone looking fir an alternative guide.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Simon. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a very funny guide, showing us many interesting sights off the beaten path around Paris. We've done a few bike tours in cities around Europe but this one stands out as the best, mainly due to Simon's approach to the tour. Would highly recommend .
Great guide, great knowledge, great narrations, great entertainment - thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Simon Jones!! Best guide we’ve experienced ever!
Simon Jones was brilliant, best guided tour in all our years of travelling.
Fabulous trip and the tour guide was excellent (Cedric)
Nice start at the cozy Le Peloton cafe Very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, super comfy city bikes, a good well organized trip. Thank you very much :)
The Peloton Cafe was a great starting place for the tour. Friendly staff and excellent coffee before getting set up with bikes and Simon our guide. He provided a fun and informative experience biking through the back streets and lesser seen parts of Paris. It was great to get away from from the busy tourist areas and experience another side of the city and bikes are the best way of doing that. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
We first went on Bike about tours around 19/20 years ago and returned with our 12 and 15 year old children. The tour was a slightly different route but equally enjoyable. We would definitely return to try yet another route. Simon our guide was amazing. Very very knowledgeable full of history and anecdotes, he had some great tales and he was very friendly and approachable. Thank you so much guys! We loved seeing how the business had progressed - and what a great little coffee shop you have!
Simon was hilarious and all around a cool guy. We loved the tour as it contrasted nicely with all the museums food and sights, giving us a chance to slow down and enjoy the city.
It was such a wonderful exploration of the city with Cedrick who was so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a ton about French history and the bike riding was perfect - all flat and not hard at all. So much fun!
Friendly, informative, good stories, enjoyable morning - Simon was excellent. From Team Essex!!!
Knowledgeable friendly guide, Simon. We felt safe and had a great time learning about some of the more obscure facts about Paris. The bike riding made you feel like a local Parisian. The traffic is a lot so if you’re not a confident biker you may want to pass this up. And we met lots of nice people from other countries. We stopped and had a cocktail and a snack at a cafe!
A perfect way to see some of those out of the way, quintessential hidden gems in Paris on a banana colored bike. Simon entertained us all the way as we wove in and out off traffic (safely) with just the right balance of information, both useful and useless-but funny. Thanks so much Simon.
Had an amazing tour! Simon provided a fun, informative & engaging tour. I highly recommend this tour & Simon!
This was such an easy experience, the booking was seamless and the directions were perfect. The staff at the cafe were so welcoming and friendly. Then we were introduced to our guide Simon and he was soon a new friend. We got on the bikes quickly and we were on our way! He took us to all these hidden gems around Paris and knew so much fun history. He had the perfect blend of humor and knowledge to make the day fun. And we had a nice time visiting with the other guests from all around the world. We loved our guide so much we invited to visit us in the States! He made the tour feel safe and he made learning the history of this beautiful city easy to remember. 10/10 recommend!
A true exposure to hidden gems. I've been living here for nearly a year and visited dozens of times before, and Ryan managed to show us things I knew nothing about. He was charming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.
A bike ride through Paris is a must-do, and our experience with our guide Joa was excellent. He seemed to really enjoy sharing his knowledge of places off the beaten path. He also took good care of our large group, making us feel safe even when going through some busy spots. The biking was mostly flat with a couple of small hills, very accessible for all ages and abilities. Highly recommend!
Simon was great! Went with our teen and tween and both agreed it was interesting and cool 🤠 Biking was easy-going and really nice to see things and places we had never even heard of, let alone seen. Great way to see the quieter parts of the city!
Cedrik was GREAT! Tons of information and very friendly. We were so glad we did this tour and all agreed we saw places we would have never seen if we had not taken the tour and were so glad we did! The coffee shop meeting spot was perfect!
This was a really fun way to learn things about Paris in a small setting. Our tour guide, Simon, was very knowledgeable and had fun stories to share.
Great fun tour with excellent guide Ryan
Overall, it was a good and safe tour. At the break stop, there is a crêperie near the boulangerie that is not advertised by the tour company. They offer a €5 meal deal that includes a savory crêpe of your choice, a Nutella crêpe, and a drink. It is a very good-value option.
Great Tour! Hannah - Great Guide! Loved this tour. It was a wonderful combination of biking and learning so much about the city. Hannah had great delivery! So pleased we did this! Highly recommend!
I loved how many new places I discovered in this tour! It was my 4th time in Paris and I didn't want to me at all the typical tourist spots, plus, as a solo traveler I was ready for a social experience. This tour checked all the boxes and the guide, Jude, shared so many interesting facts about each place. My favorites were the Place de Voges, the Roman arena that almost got demolished by Napoleon III and the visit to the location of the former Bastille. This is a small business with a big heart and great value. If the food bike tour were available during my stay I would have booked it too!
Our guide Jude did an excellent job navigating our group through the streets of Paris in two different quarters. We learned some interesting facts at every stop. It was a very memorable day
Booked this tour last minute and I’m so glad I did. My tour guide was Hanna and she was great! Very funny/engaging but also had so much interesting information and knowledge to share about the history of Paris. Our group was only 6 people including the guide. It was nice that the group was small enough that we could all ask questions easily. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris for the first time. It’s a great way to move efficiently through the city, see some of the lesser known areas, and learn the history of Paris. Tour took approximately 2-3 hours with a 30 minute break in the middle.
The Paris Off The Beaten Path bike tour was fantastic. It’s easy riding and you can cover much more areas by bike vs walking. Our guide Ryan was incredibly passionate and entertaining not to mention knowledgeable of French history. I highly recommend
