The choices of food establishments were horrible with the exception of the crepes. The service was slow, the food was not good and the bathrooms were not clean. I would not recommend this tour. They must change their stops and upgrade the food and service.

Itinerary
Your guide meets you beside the Pharmacy at Place de La République, one of Paris's major squares. After a brief introduction, you'll set off on foot into Le Marais, a neighborhood where French, Jewish, and Mediterranean food traditions have shared the same streets for centuries.
Step inside a traditional Parisian boulangerie and taste a crusty baguette sliced straight from the oven. Your guide explains what separates an everyday loaf from a proper Parisian baguette, and you'll share your first bite of the day on the spot.
Settle into a neighborhood restaurant for your first seated tasting. Tender escargots arrive at the table alongside a glass of French wine. This rich, buttery pairing captures one of Paris's oldest culinary traditions.
At a family-run fromagerie, sample artisan French cheeses alongside a crisp Norman cider. Your guide explains how region, aging, and technique shape every wheel, from soft Brie to aged Comté.
Walk into Le Marais's Jewish quarter along one of its most famous cobblestone lanes. Bite into a warm, crispy falafel from a beloved Mediterranean counter known for generous portions and bold flavors.
The centerpiece of the tour is a seated tasting inside a steakhouse. You'll savor beef bourguignon sourced from family farms, a rich French onion soup, and another glass of wine.
Your final stop is a sidewalk crêperie run by two friends who started with a single tricycle cart over a decade ago. A thin crêpe is made fresh on the griddle, folded, and finished with butter and a dusting of sugar. Your tour ends here in the heart of Le Marais.

Natalaiia was a great food tour guide, very insightful and helpful.
Marianne did a great job as a the tour guy guide for the le marais food tour
This was a basic walking tour with very little interpretation about the food or the district. There was also an older lady with a walker that had no hope of keeping up with the group. Sharon the guide appeared to not really care to start with and just walked on… it really was bizarre! Also they said we would have wine and cider tasting, we had no cider. We had to share one bottle of wine between 8 of us and at the second place the bottle was only 3/4 full. I actually would not recommend this tour…. It was disappointing!!
We were a small group and this was pretty good. Despite this, the guide has done things with miserliness, for instance, she gave some a full falafel ball and some half or a quarter of a ball, instead of simply asking the vendor for more. Another example of this was the option to get crepe with butter and sugar only and no other variations offered. As this kind of tour costs a good amount of money, it is obvious that the food should be given with flexibility when able, and in full to everybody.
Excellent experience. Full meal with dessert. Good combination of touring/ history and food stops.
The restaurant choices need to be screened regularly. When googled, Le Beef, had three stars out of five and the beef dish was foul smelling and all eight of us sent it back. They came out with just a few more for us to share and it was dry. Sharon our guide was gracious and accommodating. But it was very disappointing. The other food and drink choices were great.
Our guide was so knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed all the information she shared with us. The food was delicious and covered a wide range.
Sophie was an amazing guide. Very informative, funny, and organized. She was the best!! Thank you Sophie!!
The food tour was just… fine. Overall, we are happy we did it because we did get to see some of Paris that we hadn’t toured ourselves and got some interesting history about the area. We didn’t think the food or wine was amazing quality, and we didn’t feel particularly well received at the sit-down (chain??) restaurant we visited. At the restaurant where we were able to sample escargot, we waited outside then went upstairs and waited upstairs. There was some back-and-forthing between the tour guide and employee and then another delay, which made everything a bit awkward/uncomfortable for us, but we did eventually get our escargot and wine. Afterward, we walked a bit then stopped to eat our bread and cheese. The bread we received was just okay-tasting small pieces to be sampled with the cheese when we were expecting to have some delicious fresh baguette. It was the kind you expect to see as a garnish on a soup, not one of the main stops on a food tour. The cheeses were all fantastic and we enjoyed them. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were also just fine but we liked the feel of this restaurant much more than the other. We also really enjoyed the dessert crepe at the end. In future, we would pay very close attention to the reviews if we were ever to consider booking with this tour company again.
Great tour ! Enjoyed the food and the company . Sofia was excellent !
Sofia was great! I loved the historical reference to everything we saw and ate! Le Beef restaurant was also very accommodating with my food allergies. My favorite food was the falafel at Marianne’s. I’m not a big fan of falafels but that place changed my mind!!
Sophia is so knowledgeable! Delightful! And real!! The food was outstanding!!! My only complaint was that there was too much onion soup and beef burgoininne. It could have been shared. It was such a sin to throw away so much! But it was delicious!
This food tour was the best experience! Our tour guide Sofia was knowledgeable and so charming. Her experience really added so much more to the experience! The food stops were well planned and we left very full! My favorite was the cheese and crepe stop! A must do if you visit Paris!
I can't think of a better way to spend 3 hours in Paris than eating your way through Montmartre, with Sofia as a guide. Sofia led us to some of the best eats, a little here and a little there and a 2 course meal, and pointed out interesting things and landmarks along the way, and even gave us the background and history. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. Everyone in the group agreed that they couldn't have eaten another bite. Thank you Sofia for the wonderful tour.
Sophia was great and the food choices were amazing! Authentic French cuisine in unexpected locations.
Not only a selection of great Parisian food and wine, but also an introduction to a few unique neighborhoods and a market topped off with some great knowledge of history and architecture in the city. Sofia was very hospitable and engaged everybody. Communication was great before the tour and it was well paced at three hours. In our case we would have liked more oysters and less beef bourguignon. It was definitely enough food to call it dinner. We definitely recommend this tour.
We tried so many amazing foods and our guide was so friendly and knowledgable about the area (le Marais). We discovered lots of great places that we will definitely be returning to. We left very full, even with some leftovers! This tour was a great start to our stay in Paris.
What a great way to explore this beautiful neighborhood. So much history and our guide had the knowledge and was very charismatic. The food was delicious - even the escargot and the wine!! The entire group was having fun. Lots of laughs and great sights.
Sofia was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable and taught us some great things about the area. We were so very grateful for the experience. Top notch. Food was amazing and we were simply stuffed. You will not be disappointed with this tour.
Sofia was a wonderful tour guide! She was knowledgeable and friendly. We eat some amazing food and got a tour of Maris! Highly recommend this tour and Sofia!
Took The Tour Guy’s Le Marais Food Tour and wow, my stomach’s still throwing a party! Eleven tastings, three glasses of wine, and a guide who knew all the foodie secrets. Merci for the deliciously local love! Foodieess Highly recommended!
Sarah was an incredible tour guide. She knew a ton about the city and facilitated a great event. Would highly recommend taking a tour with her!
I can't express how perfect this tour was!! Simply informative and delicious, and the wine tasting was cherry on top.Every sip felt like a little piece of France!!Our guide was also fantastic-very passionate & funny. Highly recommend!!
Sara, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent and plentiful, as were the wines. Learned a good deal about the history of the area as well.
Sofia was the sweetest most informative guide! A true pleasure! Great conversation Highly recommend….. would do the tour again!!!
Our guide was perfect. She was super nice. Very informative. And owe felt like she really enjoyed her job. Spoke perfect English which for us was great. All the stops were well done and great foods.
Sarah was great! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed not only some fabulous food but she provided a great history of Paris and the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Sarah and this tour.
Nosy was wonderful, she explained in great detail the history of Monmarte and how it influenced the artist culture in the world.
Great tour but Viator sent the wrong voucher. We booked the Montmartre Food Tour but the voucher I received said Le Marais, which really threw us off during breakfast. We were already in Montmartre and thought we messed up, so we decided to hike up to Sacré-Cœur early just in case. The meeting point and time were still for Montmartre, so we ended up on the right tour, but had to hike up the hill twice because of the error. The tour itself was great. There were only 8 of us and the guide was awesome. I just wish there was a heads up to come hungry because there’s a lot of food. Overall we had a great time but were totally thrown off. Viator should double-check the confirmation details.
We were initially sent the wrong itinerary. We must have been sent the food tour details for le marais as we didn't get what we were expecting. The food on the montmartre tour was very disappointing. The tour was very overpriced for what we got. The guide "Ash" was lovely but he was giving out wrong information and when we told him the correct information he seemed unsure.
We had an amazing tour of Montmartre with food and drinks and history from our guide Nkay. Nkay was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. We would recommend her and the tour to anyone coming to Paris.
Nkay was a wonderful guide: friendly, funny, informative. We learned a lot and ate well. The tour was at a beautiful time of day. A variety of sweet and savory
Nkay, our tour guide was amazing. Knowledgeable, personable and fun. She did a fantastic job and would love to tour with her again.
A lot of walking but well worth it. The history of Montmartre is fascinating and it's reflected in the quaint buildings and winding streets.
Our guide Julian was the very best. We ate at several amazing places, including cookies, salmon and escargot, charcuterie, courses of wines. We climbed to the very top of Montmartre which provided lovely homes, buildings, churches and a fantastic view. The climb was not that bad, although not for wheelchair, stroller, or those needing assistance. Absolutely worth it.
Excellent food and guide who was well versed in the history of the area and the wine. The diversity of the food was wonderful. If you have issues with walking stairs or steep inclines, not a tour for you. We loved every minute.
Overall I liked the tour. I was disappointed in the choices of establishments. They were fare and lacked ambience . The food was good.. but relied heavily on sweets.. croissants, crepes , macaroons. Our food tour in Edinburgh was so good and that is why we booked again with Viator. But for the price of $340. Not worth it
Julian was a delightful tour guide. Informative, but did bog us down with "too much information." Although not a native Parisien , he was adept at negotiating steep hills and neighborhood. We had 5 food stops which he negotiated well. Left us at a lovely bar where we enjoyed wine and charcuterie, giving us clear directions to return to our starting points or hotels. No need for dinner after this tour...
The guide was informed funny and patient. Nice selection/ variety of food. As description of the amount of walking required on cobbles stones up hill would be helpful. I would consider this a little above moderate
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The Montmartre meeting point was easy to find and very cool that it started right by Moulin Rouge so it felt like we were checking off a tourist spot. I’ve been on food tours before where you get a little taste of everything. On this tour, you got a full portion of every food so just be prepared. It was really dessert focused which I loved but my husband was looking forward to more savory rather than sweet. Overall - great! Just know what to expect.
Greatly enjoyed our tour with Ruth. She was very exuberant and knowledgeable about the food and the area. Look forward to taking another tour with her on our future visit.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Ash was very informative, the food and wine tasting was very generous and we covered many sites in Montmartre. A bit tiring but I highly recommend it
Ash was fantastic! Knowledgable, communicated the agenda well and informed us of the wash closets at every stop, humorous, and overall lovely. The tour took us to places and neighborhoods we would have never known about without the tour. Fun to see all the wonders of Paris, beyond the obvious attractions.
Portions are large! Come hungry. Ash, our guide, was fun and knowledgeable. The neighborhood is very cute.
Our guide Nkay was wonderful, and she made visiting Montmartre interesting and easy. I would give her 5 stars. Unfortunately, I would give the "food" part of the tour 2 stars. The macarons and croissants were excellent. The 2 stops for food were disappointing. I have done dozens of Viator food tour, and this was below their standards. We were given platers of escargots to try which was fun, however, the platter and platters of curried fish and smoked salmon were put in the center of the table, and no one was given a small plate to serve themselves. We had to either use our hands, put our fork repeatedly into the platers or use a napkin. Also, we did not find curried fish and smoked salmon to be very French. Mushrooms, roast chicken, beef bourgeon would have been sooo much better. Also, a variety of fish and meat or veggies would have been nice. Then again at the cheese and charcuterie stop, only platters without individual plates. Some members had their hands in the plates following a long tour... Also, the bathroom at this stop was very dirty. When I mentioned that there was no toilet paper, they told me they had run out earlier, but would send someone to buy some, and gave me table paper napkins to use...
This tour was amazing! Better food option, location/stops, and great tour guide! Enkay(?) and her colleague are so friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. Their introduction of Montmarte was awesome!
Amazing experience and great help provided by the tour guide Julian. Getting enough food is definitely not a problem on this tour but they more like small bites a across the whole journey, not a full meal. The tour guide did introduce interesting facts about the neighborhood and its history, but don’t expect a whole recount of historical events. Enough to sparkle curiosity and to learn your way around the neighborhood for another time. I’ll suggest having some sort of sign available to help people find the guide at the start
My daughter and I had a fabulous time on this tour. The food was amazing and our tour guide, Sarah, was phenomenal. She was friendly, engaging, funny and highly knowledgeable. She made us feel like we were on the tour with an old friend who was excited to share all the top highlights of the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Fantastic tour with "NK". She was very knowledgeable and very personable. She chose great stops, with fun food choices, and she had tons of information about the Montmartre area. I would definitely recommend this to someone visiting Paris.
