Laura, the instructor, was wonderful to be with and so knowledgeable. It was fun to be in a real kitchen, I learned a lot, and we enjoyed bringing home a little box of our finished product. My 7 year old really loved it too.

Pierre was an amazing baking teacher and such a fun way to spend a few hours. We got to make baguettes and financiers and take home. We got to prep croissants and got a free baked good. So much fun!! Yeah!
Pierre really made this tour! A brilliant guide- super friendly and really brought the history of the bakery to life as well as interesting facts and stories about baking. My youngest really wants to be a chef so he really loved all the hands on experience of rolling baguettes, mixing and piping financiers as well as speed rolling croissants! Was the highlight of our little trip to Paris, worth every penny. Go hungry as you go away with lots of baked goods so perfect for a little picnic afterwards.
Great experience and fun for the whole family! Valentina, our teacher, was amazing!
I loved this! Pierre waa my guide, and he was very friendly and informative. I happened to be the only person on my tour, so I was sent home with LOTS of goodies. It was really interesting to learn about the differences in baguettes and the history behind them. The financiers were also delicious, particularly straight out of the oven.
Our instructor Temi was so delightful! So much more than just a baking class. We learned all about the history of these iconic French foods and had a lot of fun making them.
Very friendly instructor and hands on experience. I will try to make the baguette and pastry at home.
The class was so fun! Pierre was super knowledgeable and a delight!
Great opportunity to learn about making tasty macaroons, and a little of their history. Take home goody bag as well.
From the beginning of this experience to the end, we learned, laughed and enjoyed! Pierre was amazing!
Great class, intimate and bread was amazing and the financier cookies were delicious. Had a pastry and coffee first … otherwise you’d eat everything there ! lol
Amazing experience in a beautiful (small) bakery. There were seven of us ages 3-60+ and everyone cited the experience as a highlight of our multi-country trip. David brought comedy and education throughout our visit. He took time to get to know each of the kids and upon learning one was interested in baking as a future profession, he spent extra time showing him aspects of the bakery and answering questions. We rolled baguettes, made financiers start to finish and practiced rolling croissants. We are still talking about the financiers and will do our best to make him proud with our US replication. We left with BAGS of bread and pastries that we were able to enjoy throughout our trip. HIGHLY recommend this experience. Note: any young children should be comfortable standing for a few hours and do well with listening and following directions.
Sania did an excellent job in providing us with the history of the baguette! She was engaging and it was such a joy to see how passionate she was about this class! She made us feel like real bakers. We had so much fun! I definitely recommend this class! You will have the best time!
We had an outstanding time with Temi! We were lucky enough to do our pastry baking session with just our family of four. She was so informative, fun, and great with the kids! Our boys, 6 and 9, really enjoyed getting to make their own baguettes and pastries. She kept their attention the whole time, and as adults we loved it as well! Temi was simply a joy, highly recommend!
Our chef was great. Very encouraging and friendly. Had an excellent knowledge of his subject!
Temi, our guide, was amazing! We had a great time at this experience making baguettes, financiers, and croissants! Lovely bakery with lovely people.
We did a baking class with Valentina at Chez Manson. She was fantastic! We baked bread and financiers. She taught us the history and technique. It was so fun and delicious!
The host, David, it is extremely knowledgeable. Get ready to learn about the history and the chemistry of French baking. The experience is more about the product than the recipe. Very enjoyable. Well worth it!
Pierre was delightful and full of wonderful information about patisserie. My kids had a great time learning about making baguettes, croissants and patisserie. We felt like the staff at Chez Manon were bothered by our presence, but Pierre couldn’t have been more welcoming. After our experience we took our baguettes and had a beautiful picnic with some jambon & fromage we picked up at a nearby market.
Our family had a WONDERFUL experience with this baking class! We had a 5 & 8 year old, and this was very feasible for them. Especially because our guide/teacher, Temi, was SO patient and engaging! We learned some great history, saw behind the scenes, got to get a little bit of hands-on, and we got to taste. Very memorable experience, we would definitely recommend!
Temi was wonderful. Super engaging and great with our kids. I highly recommend this activity for families.
Excellent time and totally enjoyed it. Best experience in Paris. I believe it was with Pierre, who was very good!
We spent a fabulous 3 hours with our guide Paula, who was kind and welcoming and very knowledgeable. We were given a free drink and pastry on arrival, then we spent time in the kitchens learning how to make baguettes, financiers and croissants. We were given the opportunity to get hands on and we were given lots to take home. There were only 3 of us on this tour (we did Sat afternoon at 13:30) so lots of time and space for questions and to get to know each other. We highly recommend this tour!
The class is wonderful. Pierre was our instructor and he explained a lot about the professional bakery and equipment. We learned how to form a baguette and make a financier. Best yet, we were able to bring our baked goods back with us. We were also taught how to properly roll a croissant. It is a very hands on class and Pierre will answer any questions you might have.
Our guide Valentina made this a very special tour for our family of 4, including 2 teenage boys. We learned hands on how to prepare dough for baguettes and croissants, as we had a chance to make small Financials cakes. Valentina was fun, patient and provided great instruction. It was wonderful to see and taste the product of our work! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a hands-on activity in Paris at a working bakery!
Chez Manon was the perfect host for our croissant and baguette class. Valentina made the class informative and interactive. We sampled pastries, compared types of baguettes, and created baguettes, croissants, and other baked goods. Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our time this morning. Come hungry, leave full 🩷
Very educational and interesting. Good techniques you can take home! Temmy was a great teacher and we had a great time.
We expected a hands on baking experience. Instead what we got was a cramped, hot, sweaty, small set of rooms, spending about 10mins of the two hours actually baking. It is clearly just a money making exercise with little interest on the experience for visitors. Way too expensive for what you get. If you want a true Parisian experience, wander the local area around here - as it is gorgeous with great cafes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our baking experience. My husband said it was the best part of our visit to Paris. We learned how to make and shape baguettes, croissants, and small cakes. We were able to sample items and take home are finished baguettes. Valentina was an excellent teacher and made the whole experience fun and informative.
Warm welcome, always allowed questions, everybody got a turn. Timmy was so lovely and I was Given a warm birthday greetings for my 10 th birthday. Loved it all
Seeing the behind the scenes of a bakery was fantastic and being able to roll a baguette and make a French breakfast treat was very enjoyable. The best part of the tour was our guide, Tammy and being able to eat our creations and take some home with us for later
Clara made this activity great! She was fun and organized and we loved our time making baguettes and croissants and cakes under her guidance. From canada we send our praise and thanx to Clara
Wonderful morning class with Pierre. We loved learning so much and making our own bread to take home. Memorable experience!!
Great activity - our 13 and 11 year old grand daughters are calling this their highlight of Paris ! Clara was both funny and warm and left a lasting memory plus some great bread making inspiration
This tour/class far exceeded our expectations. Small group. We learned a lot. Had hands on experience shaping croissants, shaping bread and making a almond treat. Pierre was wonderful. Very kind, informative and patient. We took home baked goods we made and had a beverage and bakery treat to take with us when we left. There were so many class options throughout the city, I am so glad we found this one. Highly recommend it….and Pierre!!!
What a wonderful experience my daughter and I had with Pierre at his bakery. We learned a lot about baguettes and got to make one and bring it with us…so good! We also made delicious financiers to taste and bring home. In addition we learned how croissants are made and learned how to roll them too! We enjoyed a goodie of our choosing with a cappuccino. Pierre was the best!
Clara our guide was wonderful! She was So fun and informative! We enjoyed a coffee and pastry while we waited for her to set up. We got to go behind the scenes of a bakery to see how baguettes are made. We rolled a baguette and croissants. We made some fanciers. We took home all the goodies we made with us! Highly recommend if you wanna know the keys of a good baguette ! 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
Really nice and fun experience. Well prepared and great for American travelers. Nice people and delicious food prior to the baking process.
We had a fun morning with Valentina as our leader in this baking class. Going behind the scene of this amazing bakery was a great experience. We were given a choice if a complimentary pastry and beverage when we arrived, then learned how to make baguettes, financiers and croissants. All in 2 hours. There was a lot of information about the bread-making process and history shared by Valentina. We went home with armfuls of breads. Our 15-year old and we adults all had a great time. We took a cab there, but walked back to the Louvre area in about 20 minutes. Lots of fun, and the hands-on experience was a good break from regular city tours.
The guy was very kind, made us feel welcome, and taught well. The kitchen is immaculate. Definitely worth booking.
Temmy was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. My 9-year old daughter and I attended the class and had a lot of fun and learned a few things along the way. I highly recommend.
Paula was a fantastic teacher! She was knowledgeable and kind. We had a great time and the bakery items were delicious!
David was a great tour guide. He was friendly, patient, and informative. We all had a great time time!
Clara was great. Very friendly and shared great information! We took home our own baguettes and fanciers.
We had a phenomenal tour with our family of 4 and Clara as our guide. Highly recommended.
It's a must do experience!! Our instructor, Paola was so nice and knowledgeable!! We loved our class!
Very fun baking class where we made baguettes, financiers, and coissants. Temmy was the best! One of the best experiences in Paris!
Pierre was wonderful, engaging, polite, patient, really made the experience fun! I went with my sister and it was worth every penny, didn’t take too much time and made lifelong memories!!!
Pierre was so friendly, informative and professional. Everything was well organized from the time we arrived until the time we left. We learned so much. All the staff were friendly and interesting. Memorable experience! Highly recommend.
I learned more about baguettes in 2 hours than I ever expected. The bakery smelled amazing the whole time. Also fun to actually touch the dough and try
