I've used GoCity before and had a good experience, but this time I had some issues. I purchased the pass because I wanted to take several of their Paris walking tours. Unfortunately, 3 of the walking tours that I had confirmed reservations for were cancelled. One was well in advance, but two were the day prior to the tour. No only was I unable to go on the tours, but because of the last minute cancellations, I was unable to use the number of activities that I purchased the pass for. They did provide a small credit back, but it was not equivalent to the prorated cost of each activity. If you are buying the pass specifically for the walking tours, be careful.

Having the pass made me try things I might not have tried, and gave a more in depth experience of Paris. It was easy to use. Best to also get a weekly Navigo pass, which will ease travelling from one experience to another, as they are in various locations.
It would have been cheaper to buy the tickets, so the pass didnt really make economic sense, and also we were not able to do everything we wanted due to the Musee Orsay being in a special mode the first sunday of the week. The tour guides were ok, especially Sagar on the Eiffel tower tour, but I wouldnt probably buy the pass in Paris next time...
Go City Paris is deceitful, dishonest and I would AVOID using them. We purchased six passes then they incorrectly validated three that we did not attend and when contacting them through a chat (that is the only way to reach them - there is no live agent) the representative told us they would correct their mistake and restore the three passes. This never happened. When we chatted them again they asked if we took a screenshot of the original chat telling us it would be corrected. We did not. Therefore, they did not correct the mistake and we were charged for six even though we only were able to use three. When we got back to the states we disputed half of the charge on our credit card, but go city fought it and since we didn’t have proof that a representative told us they would correct the problem we were not refunded any of it. We will never use them again!
it was okay, nice to try different things but ultimately we could have done it cheaper, better and without all the hassle of different tickets for different venues
A scam, Seine River Cruise was not skip the queue as specified. Cruise operator said that Go City simply lies. Very poor form.
The go city pass was an excellent way to save on the top attractions in Paris. We did the Eiffel tower tour, hop on and hop off and perfume making tours as we had the choose 3 attractions pass. The hop on hop off was great to see the other attractions that we didn't choose. Our guide Natalie was also excellent for the Eiffel tower tour.
Good deal. My review of the costs showed I saved 165 Euro using this pass. The guides were excellent on the tours. The pass is easy to use on your phone.
Guide was not there at one experience. Montmartre experience was good guided. Louvre was above average guidence and too crowded inside.
The pass is a good value if the activity options are appealing to you. We had two meals, one tasting, a boat ride, and three walking tours. A good mix.
The tour to the Eiffel Tower was excellent. I miss everything else because of not being able to start the early tour because I didn’t check on time my order number. Only one thing make sure that you receive your order number the day before so you don’t miss your early reservation.
Me and my family took the 4 attractions option, and was a wonderful choice! We have filled 4 days with: Park Asterix, See 30+ Sights of Paris (Walking & Metro) Tour, 1 day Hop-on-Hop Off and Tour Montparnasse. The tours were great, with great guides. We especially loved Guy, the guid ;) I haven't rated 5 stars, because there was a little software bug with the Montparnasse Tour. When we've tried to access the tower's rooftop, they said the reservation is expired. It was our last attraction, but still. After 30 minutes talk the manager of the tower let us in.
Would definitely go for the city pass again. We got to see nice spots we otherwise would not have seen. But book the Louvre a week at least in advance. We did not get into the museum as it was fully booked.
The pass worked perfectly fine and was very useful. Just read carefully all the information they provide and book everything as instructed.
Very excited to spend my first time in Paris. I decided to go with the Go City pass, as we were only going to be there for three days. The evening cruise, was excellent. I also enjoyed the wax museum, the chocolate factory, and the aquarium. However, I would strongly recommend that you do not buy this pass for the trip to Eiffel tower. it did not include the option to skip the line, and after waiting 2 1/2 hours the first day, we waited five hours the next day to get up the Eiffel tower. If your time is short, this is not the pass for you. I hope that they will look at including a skip the line portion for this pass. The tour guides we had both days were excellent. But they both had to leave before we were able to get up to the top of the tower. I We travelled to the complimentary lunch to be told we had the wrong type of pass, which was unclear on the website. Grouping activities that are close together on the website is another fix for this pass. In conclusion, pass on this PASS if time is limited.
The pass allowed us to explore areas we would not naturally have gone to. It provided us with a plan for the day and was definitely worthwhile. We chose a variety of activities from exploring to art to food. We loved all the excursions.
Hexcel was one of the best people that we had met on our trip to Europe. She was simply amazing and went above and beyond for us. We can't thank her enough. Highly recommend her and the Eiffel tower tour that she took us on. 11/10 for Hexcel! A real gem
Like many others here, I had issues with the transaction and never received my ticket, even though the payment had gone through. I've not heard back from the company since reporting the incident, multiple times. As you can imagine it is quite exasperating as these passes are not cheap. I wish I had looked on TripAdvisor for reviews before committing to getting the Paris Pass. I would not have gone through with the company. Seems like this yet another way Paris scams tourists... (?)
Very nice offer we are positive we’ll have a good experience but no support! We have explorer number 6009994 and we are trying for a week to contact you and receive the Disneyland tickets to book the day we want!.I have checked the unwanted and junk! In any case unacceptable to not answer to the emails and app messages to offer help in so many days!!!
Hello On May 29, my wife acquired the pass number: 5964020 and on May 30 she requested Disney tickets for July 7 and you answered that she would have the tickets in 48 hours. She has not received them and has claimed them by email dated June 3 and by WhatsApp dated June 2. She has not even received a response to the claim. We think we are being scammed. We claim the refund of the money Greetings
This is the best thing you can buy before your visit to Paris if you want to enjoy all the attractions and save money at the same time. We got 2 all-inclusive passes for 2 days and that was the best decision ever. First of all, the Paris museum pass is included in the Go City, so you get a free entrance to all museums (don't forget to book a place for some of them). You can also use your Go City for different experiences - cooking classes, wine tastings, we used ours for breakfast in cafe Louise and champaign break in the Montmartre restaurant. We also managed to attend 3 tours with Go City - the Montmartre walking tour, the Notre Dame tour, and the Eifel Climbing tour. You MUST have it in Paris!
Do not buy, this company is a nightmare to deal with. I couldn't get a refund despite taking out their insurance which should have given me a refund, at a time when travel to France was not permitted and the attractions were all closed during covid. I have now planned a new trip and had a voucher for the monetary value of my original purchase that I wanted to use for 3 x 2 day passes (which left some money on the voucher that I would lose, as it was different from my original order, but I accepted that, and had specifically been told I could make amendments, even changing the city if I wished) and they have instead sent me 2 x 4 day passes. I travel in a few days and, on past performance, this will not be sorted out in time, as there is no way to contact other than email and replies take several days. I expect that without Covid it might have been OK, but these are still uncertain times for travel with flight cancelatione etc, and if anything goes wrong, it is a nightmare to sort out.
My family and I bought three-attraction passes from Go City because Versailles was included, and that pass, if you include that attraction along with two others, allows you to save some money. Nothing could be further from the truth… Although we booked the tour two months in advance and received confirmation emails and WhatsApp messages, a day before they told us that they were changing the date. We accepted the change with all the logistics that it entails, and later they told us that no, they were sold out. After multiple emails and conversations with them, we never managed to use our pass, so in the end, Go City cost us more than if we had booked the attractions separately. Do not buy this pass in Paris if you want to go to Versailles. It is an absolute scam because everything is coordinated by the company Vox City, a disorganized group with terrible service.
Date problem on the reservation of the child pass which was not the same as the adult passes. Cannot change or cancel. A hell of a lot of help since all contact is via a robot cat that doesn't understand what you're asking for. Result, a lost activity on the child pass. Customer service is totally non-existent
The tour to Versailles was indicated with optional transfer from Paris central. At the meeting point, however, no guide appeared , so we had to drive to Versailles independently and almost missed the time window for entry. Messages to provider were not responded to. The ascent to the Eiffel Tower is on foot. An option for elevator is not offered. Not very useful for children and old people. The saving is therefore hardly worth mentioning. Especially since children enter the museums regularly at a discount or free of charge. Communication with experience First (Louvre and Crypt Notre Dame), on the other hand, was great. Due to route closure we arrived late for the Louvre tour and received a quick reply to mails and the tickets sent directly.
I got a go city paris Explorer pass on April 25th, but I canceled on the same day as I walked out to the Eiffel and saw an attraction that my son hadn’t been killed. The app also has a bot and will receive a message to return it when it’s helped. We're waiting
Opéra Garnier was top, quick access and uncomplicated procedure with the Citypass, so flawless experience. Palace Versailles also top, skip the line access was the salvation as this was eternally long. Access with the pass quite easy. Eiffel Tower was ok, unfortunately there was no slip the line access and we had to wait and do it multiple times. The lady who led the tour was indeed very sympathetic and could tell us a lot, but the access to the Eiffel Tower without a pass would have been much cheaper than the offer from the pass.
We saw a lot of Paris 1000 photos taken, it was totally nice the selection about GoCity was really easy and worked out as well.
I've traveled the world and this is the worst and most useless City Pass of all! Very expensive for what it offers, you don't have priority entrances but you queue like everyone else to go to the cash registers, the guides give you information that you can easily read anywhere and they only accompany you for part of the attractions, then they leave but first they insistently ask for votes and positive feedback on internet platforms. Really terrible, a magna-magna that gives bad publicity to France and the French.
DON'T BUY IT 3 years ago the Paris Pass worked excellent, nowadays it is already a hoax. They never mention to you that there are different days for museums and attractions, they no longer include transport tickets as before. They force you to make reservations with other tours which previously did not happen, you just arrived, presented your pass and were let in quickly and without problems. You have to make a reservation, enter your card details and if you do not attend you can be charged up to $100 euros! You have to line up in order to buy your tickets which doesn't make sense because they promote it as if you no longer line up. Your application is useless!
We booked the two-day all-inclusive ticket and it was a dream! We saved 50% of all the attractions we did in a cumulative amount of something like 250 euros for a savings pair.
Le choix des attractions, est vraiment très varié, attention cependant il faut faire attention, quand on fait des réservations , car pour le Louvre nous avons dû racheter des billets .
