The Eiffel Tower. This imposing structure was erected during the 1889 Universal Exposition and majestically overlooks the city from the Champ-de-Mars. Its height of 330 meters makes it a true architectural gem that continues to captivate and fascinate visitors for generations. At night, it sparkles with a thousand lights and offers visitors a unique experience.
The Alexandre III Bridge, inaugurated during the 1900 Universal Exposition and classified as a historical monument, stands as one of the most iconic in the capital - both in terms of its architecture and its geographical location. At each of its four ends, monumental pylons rise 17 meters high, adorned with gilded bronze Pegasus statues atop. These statues symbolize the Fame of Arts, Sciences, Commerce, and Industry. The Alexandre III Bridge connects the Invalides on one side to the Grand and Petit Palais on the other. Its panoramic view of these landmarks, the Eiffel Tower, and the Seine, make it a highly sought-after promenade spot, day and night.
The Musée d'Orsay, renowned worldwide for its rich collection of Impressionist art, also represents the entire artistic creation of the Western world from 1848 to 1914. Its collections encompass various forms of expression, from painting to architecture, sculpture, and photography. The building itself is impressive, with its palatial railway station appearance, inaugurated for the 1900 Universal Exposition. After a complete renovation, the museum reopened in 2011 with new spaces, including a 400 m² extension for the upper pavilion dedicated to Post-Impressionist artists. The gallery of Impressionists has also been rearranged, and a new temporary exhibition space has been created.
The Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is the most visited monument in France. Located in the historic center of Paris, at the tip of the Île de la Cité, its construction began in the Middle Ages. The works started in the 13th century and were completed in the 15th century. Severely damaged during the French Revolution, the cathedral underwent restoration in the 19th century under the guidance of the architect Viollet-le-Duc. Visitors are captivated by the stained glass windows and rose windows, the towers, spire, and gargoyles. They can also explore the Treasury of Notre-Dame and climb the towers for a panoramic view of Paris. In 2013, Notre-Dame celebrated its 850th anniversary. On this occasion, numerous events were organized, and the cathedral renewed its bell heritage with the arrival of eight new bells and a new great bell. The distances of French roads are measured from the 0 point located on the cathedral's parvis.
In the heart of Paris, two islands vie for the favor of tourists: Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité are home to some of the most beautiful monuments and mansions in Paris, and their quays offer unparalleled walking and picnic spots.
Having served as a former royal palace, the Louvre bears a deep connection to the history of France over the course of eight centuries. Since its establishment in 1793, it has been envisioned as a universal museum, housing some of the world's most magnificent collections that span thousands of years and encompass diverse regions from America to the borders of Asia. The Louvre consists of eight departments, including Egyptian Antiquities, Oriental Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan, and Roman Antiquities, as well as modern collections like Paintings, Sculptures, Decorative Arts, Graphic Arts, and Islamic Art. With nearly 33,000 works on display, visitors can marvel at globally renowned masterpieces such as the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Seated Scribe, the Winged Bulls of Khorsabad, the Mona Lisa, Michelangelo's Slaves, and Napoleon III's Apartments. Additionally, a ninth department dedicated to Byzantine and Eastern Christian Arts is currently being created and is set to open in 2025.
Located at the foot of the Champs-Élysées, the Place de la Concorde is distinguishable today by the Luxor Obelisk (which is 3,300 years old and was erected in May 1998), the prestigious hotels that line its perimeter, and the two monumental fountains (the Fountain of the Seas and the Fountain of the Rivers). Created in 1772, the Place de la Concorde initially gained notoriety for being one of the execution sites during the French Revolution. Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, and many others were guillotined there. It was between 1836 and 1846 that the architect Jacques-Ignace Hittorf shaped the square into its current form.
This small 11.5-meter statue was offered by the Americans in 1889, three years after France gifted the Statue of Liberty. Once again, this monument celebrates a significant event, as it commemorates the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. This pivotal moment in France's history is represented alongside July 4, 1776, the date of American Independence, on the tablet held in the statue's left hand. Originally placed facing the Eiffel Tower until 1937, the Statue of Liberty was later positioned on the tip of the island, facing away from the Iron Lady.

First time in Paris from the USA. Booked through the Viator app and the process was so easy and directions was so clear. Reserved the 7:15pm cruise with boarding at 6:45pm on Tue. 10/27/26. Visited the Eiffel Tower earlier which was 7 mins by car. Arrived early as the activity start on time. Stood in line at the port at 6:30p to beat the crowd. Was seated perfectly with a window seat. Ambiance was romantic. Wait staff was excellent. Had the veal meal option and it was very good. Cruise was lovely & timely. 10 out of 10!
We did not like the sunset cruise based on the fact that it really wasn’t a scenic tour, with it being dark, they have to set the light a certain way for us to be able to see and enjoy the scenery, also it rained and couldn’t get any good pictures at all just wasn’t a good view. I gave it a three only because the people very courteous and the service was good, but I/we did not like the food at all
Wonderful evening with friends Everything was great Views were insanely beautiful Got in with tickets no problem
The staff are lovely and very efficient. The photographer is funny, and takes unusual, interesting shots. The food is fairly ordinary with the best dish being the soup. The lview of the it up Effel Tower is spectacular. The cost is steep.
A very pleasant cruise down the river with plenty to see along the way. A great way to see Eiffel Tower at night.
I reached out to Viator to provide an Update that there were rioters in the streets in Paris and we were unable to get to the boat. The police were using tear gas to control the violence. I received no empathy or understanding. From Viator. They offered no refund, just reasons why they were not willing to offer a refund. I am very disappointed with Viator.
it was nice, fun, and beautiful. got to see the eiffel tower sparkle over the seine river at night. gorgeous.
Perfect seating arrangements to see all along the Seine. Got plenty of pictures. Service was great. Dinner was ok. I would recommend to any visitor to Paris.
Smooth ride, excellent views, good service. Food was average. Highly recommend
The cruise was enjoyable, food was good and the staff were wonderful. The sites were beautiful. I would highly recommend this cruise.
Amazing experience! No words to describe! Well done! Will recommend to friends going to Paris. Unforgettable experience.
The evening dinner cruise was a awesome experience. Great food great opportunity to sightsee in the evening via the boat
It was easy to access. The food was good. The boat was lovely. The staff was very friendly. Loved seeing the city at night from the water view.
Difficult to find exact location. No benches to sit so if you have physical challenges, it was uncomfortable standing for the 1/2 hour.
The meeting point is inaccurate. I was 15 minutes early to departure time and the location from this event in Apple and Google Maps took me to a spot where there were no people. I attempted to call and message without any response or help.
Honestly the boat part was amazing, seeing all the sites and the inside of the boat was lovely. The whole experience though felt very rushed. The food service seemed rushed and the food was not great. I really was expecting better for a gourmet meal. The veal was chewy and the fish dish was cold. The dessert was okay. My son spilled his beer and it took quite a while for someone to come to clean it up and they didn’t ask if he wanted another one. The wait staff and our photographer were very nice and did their best on a rushed schedule. After leaving the dining room to go to the upper deck to enjoy the sites and take pictures, I wasn’t allowed to return to the dining room to make sure I hadn’t left anything behind. To make a better experience I would suggest extending the time and do quality control on the food. Also air conditioning or open windows would have been nice as it was very hot in the inside dining room. Thank you. Lasina Jacobsen
Lovely meal, great service, very friendly, beautiful views Good music… just long enough Had lotsa fun
Perfect amount of time on the cruise & the meal was pretty good. We went at sunset & the return leg was pretty special with all the lights & reflections. I found the photography offer intrusive and the pressure to purchase pictures was unpleasant - I would have been happier if this was not part of the experience.
The boat and cruise are amazing.. beautiful views of Parisian night sky. The Eiffel Tower sparkles as do all the city lights. We found the port difficult to locate. I would recommend taking a cab. Maybe providing better directions would be helpful
Our taxi dropped us off at the wrong side of the bridge where our cruise was. By the time we figured that out, it was too late. It was our anniversary and we were so disappointed. They really should give better instructions on getting to the boat when tickets are purchased. When I requested a possible replacement date, they said that you have to make changes 24 hours in advance which was impossible. I was not asking for my money back so I really don’t understand.
We booked this a little last min so we knew not to have super high expectations. When making a reservation I wasn’t prompted to upgrade to first row seating nor mentioned anything about being seated in a second row. We understand this might’ve been to booking last minute but either way it would’ve been nice to know from the actual description, so one can decide if they continue making the reservation or splurge a little and book something more upscale. Second row seating is a little higher behind the first row but seating space is just very tight and photos wise you’ll literally get the peoples head in all your pics. They don’t prompt you every time you’re passing by an attraction, you just kind of have to be attentive. Service started as soon as the boat took off, food was decent and service was decent as well. Another con is this is open to everyone, including kids. Nothing against kids and babies, but we had a crying toddler for 3/4s of the boat route. We totally understand how it is to travel with kids but sometimes you want your adult time. I would strongly suggest maybe doing one scheduled time for “families and kids” and another “adults only”. Other than that I think it was an okay back up plan if things fall through.
The food, the views, the crew , everything was perfect. We both had the beef, it was tender and very flavoursome. Good value for money , plenty of opportunity to take photos, I would recommend this to couples and families alike
I would not recommend this cruise as it was disappointing… We were first on board and sat on the left side of the boat like we had hoped and then they made us move to the right side of the boat. All tickets were the same with no special seating arrangements. We even told them we like the seats they originally sat us at but they made us move. The food was awful as well. Very disappointed for what we paid.
delicious food and fantastic views. Do not miss this activity! Everything was very organized - the staff was polite and friendly.
Boat on time, docking 10 mnts prior to cruise, beautiful view. We loved the dinner, very flavorful, as well as the champagne. Also on cruise, photographer for lovely memories . Peaceful cruise, and very friendly waiters on cruise. Spoke English , Spanish.
We took the 9:30 PM one and caught the Eiffel Tower sparkling at both 10:00 and 11:00—it was absolutely amazing! Since we had already done a daytime sightseeing cruise, it really helped us figure out the best spots for taking photos at night. The sightseeing boat didn't go past the Statue of Liberty, but this evening dinner cruise sailed by it twice!
Disappointing. The food was “meh” & there should have been some kind of commentary about which important landmark was coming into view so we could be ready for photos.
Excellent dinner aboard a lovely seine cruise boat. Views of key landmarks lit up at night..stunning! Highly recommend
Seating area was quite cramped and very little space to put crockery and cutlery. Food was disappointing and main course waa served in a pot which was awkward to get a knife and fork into. I did enjoy the part after the meal when we could go out onto the deck to watch the scenery. It would have been nice to have some commentary to explain what landmarks we were passing, as I was having to check on my phone all the time! I think it's overpriced for what you get, so wouldn't do it again. I didn't get the experience I was hoping for.
Amazing experience. Best way to see Paris at night. Couldn't have chosen a better cruise line and amazing service.
Great seating, service and food with a beautiful ride! I would have liked another appetizer option for those who dislike fish, but I'd come again anyway!
I have been on at least 6 other Viator excursions and they have been excellent. This experience was very unsatisfactory - especially the food. The food did not taste good, and was served in a bowl you would think belonged in holding facility. Additionally, the table was incredibly small, and the seating was cramped.
Don’t expect much. In fact, I told my wife that I was glad that I wasn’t trying to impress someone like on a first date. We had some kind of a veal stew, one of two choices. Dry French bread with no butter. They served my wife the wrong order so we had to wait. Dessert was similar to a Carnival cruise “chocolate melting cake”, nothing special. The lighting on the boat made it somewhat difficult for good pictures. The highlight was the Eiffel Tower at night. Allow extra time due to the traffic to get to the boat prior to boarding; it took us 30 minutes to go 6 miles! A dinner cruise on the Mississippi out of New Orleans was incredibly better.
I was in the 7pm tour. Highly recommend. The fish was actually quite good. Wasn’t expecting much. Go up top between courses and certainly when dinner service is over. You’ll get great views of the Eiffel sparkling in the night sky.
Wonderful experience. Food was very good as well as the staff. Great way to see some of the sites of Paris in a relaxing setting.
Decent cruise. During picture taking, we were not offered a picture with the Eiffel Tower in the background. We felt that should be the background not the inside of the ship. Food was good. The lack of audio explaining was with we’re seeing and buildings we were passing was a major negative. I old do this again only if there is voice audio.
Lovely meal, amazing view. disappointing at the end they turned off the lights when myself and 2 women were still in the toilets plunging us into darkness without out checking. Dangerous given we had to navigate stairs to exit the boat.
La bouffe n'est pas terrible Aucun guide
Great way to see the city from the Seine while enjoying good food and wine. We did the 0635 in August at wished we had done the later one too see it in complete darkness.
The cruise and dining experience itself was well executed. The duration, route, and food selections all met our expectations. One note, the meetup location the tour operator provided was incorrect, leaving us walking quickly over 1.3km to get to the actual meetup location in time to board before departure. It left us sweaty and a little stressed. This was unacceptable and needs to be corrected.
The boat was fine and the cruise was good. You aren’t going for the food - it was barely edible. The service was also slow.
Great mood and atmosphere the food Wes much better than I expected and the service was quick and organised. My dayghter loved the views and was running up and down to look at the views.
This was an amazing Paris dinner en Scène cruise. However since I book this during summer time, make sure you book the 9 pm starting time so you can see the Eifell tower sparkle at night
Food was okay. I don't know why there wasn't any air condition especially when the temperature is 36° C and the sun was still out at 7:30 pm. The view was nice.
The food is super delicious and staff was very friendly and helpful. After meal, you got a change to view the seine river scenic view in the deck. Fun experience
Excellent food and exceptional service. I mistakenly left my sunglasses onboard, but they were found and returned to me by one of the waiters. Thank you for the great experience and honest staff.
Very easy to book and very organised cruise we had a wonderful time meeting new people and viewing sites of Paris staff were fantastic also
Directions for pickup unclear. GPS coordinates not mapping up with address. Multiple addtesses listed based on dates. Location Name of pickup wrong (“Water Formula”). I cant express enough how stressful trying to find the location was which devalued the overall experience. Boat ride, dinner, and service was 5 star.
Very good just needed more water food was good sights were amazing the air conditioning helped and there are toilets on board
