Great fun and great croissants. I would recommend the class for fun or for a serious baker. Just book it.

It was well worth doing, a great lesson and fun night out. Guillaume was extremely skilled and very nice to spend the evening with. Plus you get the recipe!
On October 14, I flew from London to Paris specifically for this three-hour croissant-making class. Unfortunately, unexpected airport traffic caused me to arrive 30 minutes late. I communicated with customer service via WhatsApp the entire time and provided my estimated arrival time, but no one informed me that late arrivals would be denied entry. When I arrived, the class was still in its early stages, yet the instructor refused to let me participate or even observe. As a baker from Chicago, I was really looking forward to this Parisian experience. Although they offered a later class, I couldn’t attend because I was only in Paris for the day. My refund request was denied. I understand the importance of punctuality, but the lack of communication, flexibility, and empathy was extremely disappointing. If arriving late means forfeiting your class and payment, that policy should be clearly communicated. What should have been a memorable experience during my first visit to Paris turned into a very disappointing one.
BAD Tripadvisor experience. No address or meeting point on booking site or voucher. No information when and how a meeting point will be communicated. Looked for an address on the internet, but the door was closed until class. Then we were told we are in the wrong spot. No staff or phone number available prior or afterwards - they clearly don't want to be bothered. Will not book with Maison Fleuret again.
Maggie is a terrific pastry teacher !! She made us delicious snacks and inspired my 10 year old to learn more about baking. Highly recommend the class. She answered all of questions
Very good class. Lots of info. I would like to take it again after I have practiced a bit. . .a little complex as first we made dough for next class, then we finished the dough for us. Delish!
Well run. Informative and we baked some treats to take away. Small group was great as we got personal attention
Our instructor, Julie was personable and a great teacher. She was very knowledgeable, wry professional, and patient. She made the class fun and interesting. The croissant class was great and I would recommend it to everyone looking to do something fun and different while in Paris.
Our instructor was great, he was knew when to jump in and help while being really positive and affirming when we were doing things well. Could not imagine our pan aux chocolate and croissants turning out so great. It was delicious
Hands-on fun where you get to eat your ‘work’ A small class that covers everything you need to know to produce the perfect croissant. Our Chef was fun (and patient) and expertly guided us through making and baking our own chocolate and plain croissants. Good experiential learning. I'd write more...but I'm about to roll out a fresh batch of dough and my batteries melting
Julie was kind and very patient. She answered ALL of our questions about cooking and Paris! Her personality was one that made us feel at home! I would take a class from her again!! The croissants were delicious! My only suggestion…bigger and more travel friendly take home bags!🥴😆😆
We had an amazing experience at our croissant baking class. Rosalie was very knowledgeable, funny and made the class very enjoyable. Would recommend to experienced bakers and those new to baking alike!
This baking class was wonderful. The baking school was easy to get to and the space was really nice. The instructor was friendly and explained everything well. It was a lot of fun and our croissants were delicious.
So wonderful! My 11 year old son loved it. Small group and our instructor Leslie was amazing. Highly recommend.
Wonderful instruction with chef Leslie in a lovely location and delicious results! Would love to visit again.
The class was very informational and lots of fun. the instructor did a great job demonstrating and then allowing us to try, correcting as needed. Pastry was delicious!
This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Our instructor was Rosalie and she was phenomenal. Fun, informative, a master of her craft and a great teacher! The school was easy to find and accessible and just perfect in every regard; highly recommend for those who love culinary arts as well as those curious about French culture. Highly recommend
Chef canceled hours before the scheduled class was set to begin and the refund is taking forever. Don't go here.
This was amazing. Regis, the baker, was well prepared, gave great explanations and tips. He was very patient and knowledgeable. There was no down time or just watching him do things; we did everything from rolling the dough to creating our croissants. I have been to other experiences where each person only gets to do a small part. In this we walked away with 4 croissants and 4 pan du chocolate that we each made entirely ourselves. My 13 year old loved it! And I, as an experienced baker, learned some tricks to enhance my skills. I cannot be more enthusiastic about this experience. Wonderful.
It was such a nice experience, our instructor, Julie, an amazing person and so attentive to everyone! I would recommend doing the class as a first time visitor!
Very fun thing to do while in Paris and Julie, our instructor, was exceptional!! Everyone was friendly and some traveling alone, so don’t be shy.
We loved this class as a complement to sightseeing. Our instructor, Margerite, was great. The experience includes making three different pastries - and they were delicious. Because the dough needs to rise for 24 hours, you end up making the dough to tomorrow's class but you experience the full process. Some comments mentioned the difficulty in finding the location. We did receive a WhatsApp message the night before with an address that was different from the original on the confirmation. Fortunately I had WhatsApp installed but I can see where many Americans would not. Also, we were nervous when we saw about 20 people waiting outside the entrance. However, the location had three kitchens so we did have the advertise "small group" experience.
Had a Wonderful time making croissants with my wife. Our teacher was kind and pleasant and we had a lot of fun.
The whole experience was delightful .. start to finish. The instructor was a very well-schooled pastry chef who made the whole experience a lot of fun.
We had a great time at our croissant class. Very informative and fun to try the croissants at the end of class.
What alot of fun. We loved making them and eating them. Many steps involved. The teacher was great on explaining every step. A must try.
Excellent experience with Julie. Class was fun. Who knew so much work went into making a croissant we can eat in 2 minutes, lol?? It was fun to taste all our hard work. Thorough explanation of entire process. We left with the recipes emailed to us via a QR code. Thankfully, they offer some coffee, water and toilet at the location. Look for the red door to the right of the blue door (#7).
Directions to the meeting place in Paris were not at all well written very difficult to find for those of us who are not in sync with how the Parisians do their streets. The time we were supposed to be at the meeting place we found we weren't allowed into the building. There was a note on the window saying come back five minutes before the class --we did that but we still not allowed in......got in about 9:07 into the building.... that said I received a text from Viator around 5 o'clock in the morning that my meeting place for the class had been changed, that is not enough time when one is not familiar with Paris to find the location I was supposed to go to, I chose to go to the first location that was given to me not the second again very confusing and not time efficient . I Would not recommend this class to anyone, as mentioned directions there were poor, we did not receive the recipe as we were told at the end of the class, the process of making croissants is definitely time-consuming.....I don't have a problem with that, but the class itself wasn't exactly a fun class. The instructor was fine.
Such a fun experience!! Croissants were so good and buttery!! We didn’t realize how in depth the recipe was so that was a fun surprise!
I love cooking classes and this was one of the best experiences I had in Paris. The school (Maison fleuret) was such a highlight that I booked another last minute macaron class with them that same day!! You get to be hands on with every step of the croissant making and you can take away many croissants back. Can’t recommend this enough. I feel this would be even more fun with friends and family
From the time we arrived, they served coffee and tea and made us feel right at home. Instructor was Lara. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about all things croissants and pastries. After we made the croissants, we got to cook and sampled them and they were delicious.!
Rosalie was a delightful instructor. She was very patient with our questions and offered suggestions as to what products we could purchase in the US that would be comparable to French flour and butter.. The group was friendly and everyone enjoyed themselves.
This was a very interesting and informative class. We learned not only how to create croissants but the science behind why things need to be done in a certain way. The bonus was getting to take home all of our delicious creations.
Rosali was absolutely wonderful. She explained how everything works and answered all of our questions. I think we will do this again! The croissants were delicious!
This was a wonderfully organised workshop. There were six of us in the class, and our instructor Julia was incredibly friendly, fun, and clearly an expert at their craft. We learned to make croissant, pain au chocolat, and pain suisses, which was a brilliant experience. I know some past reviewers didn't like being paired up, but I actually preferred it; rolling out croissant dough is hard work, so having a partner to share the physical effort made it much better. I learned a lot, brought home a box of fantastic pastries, and feel completely encouraged to try baking them at home.
We really enjoyed baking our breakfast croissants to eat fresh out of the oven, along with other people from around the world, Julie was a great teacher and now we have the detailed recipe so we can try doing this at home!
An absolutely fantastic class. Great instructor who knew his trade, served up with a fantastic sense of humor. We are skilled cooks who definitely learned new techniques. The small group settting was perfect and the results were amazing.
Our baking guide was wonderful. She was personable, knowledgeable, and flexible. We were excited to take this class and it did not disappoint!
Excellent small group hands on croissant baking instruction with 2 croissant and 2 pan au choclate to go. Instructors were experienced and fun! Highly recommend.
Fun and easy to learn croissant class Pastry chef was super sweet and made the class fun Would highly recommend
A great event a must do. Had a blast while learning some new tricks about baking. Product turned out great and enjoyed eating them at the end. Great fun for all the group
This was a fun and delicious way to spend a few hours learning to make croissants in a Paris bakery!
I didn’t think it’d be possible but by the end of the class, we had all made some delicious croissants ourselves. The instructions were relatively straightforward and all the steps were clearly explained from making the dough all the way to shaping the various pastries. Shout out to our instructor for the day Lancelot, he made it an amazing experience!
So much fun and very informative. Great experience. It was fun learning about making croissants and then getting to eat them fresh out of the oven.
Definitely a top experience during our trip to Paris! Our instructor was very knowledgeable and passionate. Having a bite of fresh pain au chocolat fresh from the oven that we made with our own hands using fresh and top-tier ingredients, is absolutely heaven.
Amazing instructor, made it fun yet informative. Will absolutely try to recreate at home! And has lots of leftovers!!
So fun! Would recommend for anyone looking for a unique / awesome experience in Paris! Good for all ages.
We had a great time learning to make Croissants & Pain au Chocolate! We learned so much about the techniques, ingredients and process of making croissants. Our chef was incredibly knowledgeable and made the class both informative and enjoyable. We had so much fun. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience. The host was superb and made the class so much fun. I learned not only how to make pastries but also some interesting facts about Paris. It’s a must do!
I highly recommend this class if you’ve always wanted to learn how to make croissants. Our instructor, Jade, was precise in her instructions and expectations. I learned a lot about French flour and butter in regard to baking. The croissants were the best I’ve had to date. I’m looking forward to trying my new baking skills at home.
