Paris Covered Passages Private Walking Tour Plus Cruise Option

This was one of the best tours we've ever been on. The guide (I can't remember her name, but she was from Ukraine), was so knowledgeable about the history, architecture, shops and restaurants on the tour. The architecture was so beautiful and we had a delightful lunch afterwards at Le Grande Colbert. Highly recommend this tour!

Fanny was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. I enjoyed that she discussed the history of the passages and why they came about. It is an interesting tour but pretty short. Of course, it was freezing the day we went!

Enjoyed seeing the Paris Passages tour with Katie. Have been to Paris several times and wanted to experience something we hadn’t done before. Walked through a number of the passages and Katie had very good explanations of them and several of the neighborhoods we walked through between the passages.

Maria had good history on the passages of Paris. Pointed out good shops and places to have lunch or coffee. Gave great tips on best areas and places to come back to.

We did the Paris Covered Passages Walking Tour this week. Our guide Maria was extremely informative. The only negative was completely our fault which was not knowing that many shops truly close for the month of August so many of the shops and cafes were closed. Also- many don't open until 11 am or later so I would recommend scheduling this tour later in the day... We learned so much about the history of the passages and Maria also gave us a time of good information regarding shopping in Paris café, etc. I would recommend this tour!

Tour delivered as we had hoped, with plenty of interesting historical background. This was our second experience with Joanna.

Fanny was very friendly and knowledgeable, very attentive and provided very helpful information during the tour. She was able to explain the symbols located in the passages, details about the clocks, reasons why the more than a hundred passages were built in Paris and the reason to provide clean places for bourgeois ladies to walk and shop. Fanny is very attentive and also offered to take pictures around the landmarks for all of us to be included on them.

Passages were awesome! Maria was lovely and took us through each passageway and explained all the things. We even got plenty of recommendations of shops and restaurants.

A disaster. We got there a few minutes late and there was no way to get in touch with the tour guide before or during the tour, so we paid for absolutely nothing. Viator offered to comp us the tour on a date after we had left Paris. Thanks for no nothing. I have been on other tours in other cities and communication with the guide has been available. Not customer friendly at all, especially as a traveler negotiating a new city. I'm very disappointed in how the whole thing was handled.

Definitely take this tour. Our guide Fanny was great! She was so informative and it was great to learn so much about the rich history about the covered Passages. Also found some great places to return to once the tour was over.

Our tour guide Fanny was excellent. The history of the passages was interesting. I somehow expected them to be a little more elegant.

Although I learned some things, the passages are mainly about the architecture, and shops and restaurants therein, which can be gained by visiting on your own. There are better walking tours to take that convey more history and facts.

We enjoyed our tour with Paula of the Passages, and more. She provided many interesting facts along the way and the pacing was good allowing us time to have a quick look around each area. We liked the order in which they were presented really highlighting the differences.
