Tour guide was very patient and informative. My wife and I are both 73 years young. He would have gone as long as we wanted him to. He didn’t rush us at all. He was very much there for us! We had an exceptional lunch……..yum! It was great!

Have in mind what you want to see we needed a bit more guidance and use of the Metro as weather extremely hot
Nikan is an excellent guide! He was easy to understand and was willing and able to customize our tour to exactly what we wanted.
We customized the tour to avoid overlapping our scheduled tours of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower a Seine River cruise. Nikan was able to show us some of the hidden gems on our walkabout. He also snagged us a lunch reservation for Le Procope made famous by Ben Franklin’s time in Paris during the American revolution. A nice addition to the tour!
Prepare to walk around considerable distance. We did 18000 steps. The tour can be tailored to your interests.
Sabrina is a very good tour guide making a wonderful tour from Notre Dame of Ile de la cite and to visit where Emily in Paris was filmed, Panthen, Jardin du Luxembourg, Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel etc. We know much better about beautiful Paris with all the stories.
She was a good tour operator and Tour Guide and knew her stuff about the city. The tour was a long walking day and we walked probably about 18,000 steps so you need to be prepared for that. At times, because she had an agenda and we were a private tour, I was hoping that we would be able to have some small little detours as necessary. But I felt like she was locked on the agenda that needed to get done. But overall, she did a great job. I would recommend that if you’re gonna go to the Notre Dame, that you be aware that there is no reservations that they provide for you although I believe there are a way to get reservations for Notre Dame so you do need to wait in a long line. Our line was about 25 minutes to get into Notre Dame. Plus, also you don’t have access with this tour to the top of Notre Dame so you need to prepare for that I think had the tour operator told us some of this information before that would’ve been helpful so we could’ve tried to coordinate all of that together. Or it would’ve been nice if they could’ve coordinated all those things too, especially since this was a private tour.
Other travelers need to ask for Jacopo. He did an amazing job! We learned so much about the history and buildings of Paris. We had a wonderful time as we walked and spoke of life in Paris. Jacopo was thoughtful and assisted us happily with our requests from restaurants to restrooms, he had it covered. All travelers should have their own umbrella and footwear that tolerates a lot of puddles. The experience of walking through Paris is one my husband and I will have for a lifetime. Thank you Jacopo!
Nur was our guide, she did a great job showing us many historical sites , showed us how to operate the metro, and explained general need to know details. We appreciated her and she even provided additional activities for the remainder of our stay.
Five hours was just the right amount of time to see the major attractions. Christmas time in Paris is beautiful a d crowds if any were thin. Our guide Sunny was excellent. Very polite and informative. We could not have seen all on our own. Highly recommend this tour and guide!
This is a great tour if you want to personalize a tour of Paris. especially for a first time visitor.
Our wonderful tour guide Mehrdad was knowledgeable and able to adapt his itinerary to what suited us best.moving from place to place with ease and efficiency.
Great way to see the city. Our guide, Jacopo, was easy to be with. He provided just the right amount of info about the places we visited - so as not to bore us.
Had a good experience with our wonderful tour guide. I would give Mehrdad ten stars if I could. This being said, THIS IS A WALKING TOUR. If you are not in excellent shape, pick something else.
Aliya was AMAZING! She is patient, flexible and I would highly recommend. If visiting please book her.
Sunny gave us a unique and packed experience. We were only in Paris for a few hours and we were able to really get a feel for this beautiful city.
Our guide Jacope was very knowledgeable and patient, he waited for us while we were in the store and also was very kind to take some pics for us. We covered a lot of places and information, which is good but we were exhausted after walking for 5 hrs, I think the tour can be condensed to 3 hrs. Other than that it was very good experience
There will be a lot of walking so dress accordingly for the weather. Bring a camera and ask a lot of questions. I learned a lot about the history of Paris.
Excellent tour. We went where we never would have gone on our own. Some walking but also using the Metro (subway) to get around quickly. You will be tired at end of tour, but, worth every part. Go for it.
Mehrdad one of a kind was really helpful and kind. The patients and knowledge amazingly nice. Thank you so much again
We had Sabrina Thomé as a tour guide, words can’t describe how amazing she was, she was patient with my slow walking pace, explained everything in simple terms so we could understand it fully, took time to let me rest so we never felt rush. We went on the Metro several times and she was always making sure we were safe. She was punctual picking us up and dropped us at the lobby of the hotel. I would recommend Viator to a friend and most definitely recommend asking for Sabrina to be their tour guide
Our tour guide, Mehrdad, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, helpful, considerate, and most of all, fun! He took us to the best places in Paris, and stayed flexible for our shopping stops!! he was absolutely the nicest person ever! He made our stay in Paris fantastic. We would recommend him and give Mehrdad 5 stars!!
I had a 23-hour layover at the CDG airport and thought the Paris city tour would be ideal. As it turned out, my flight to Paris was 4 hours late and I thought I must cancel my tour immediately, now hours behind. I am so delighted I did not cancel! My guide, Mehrdad convinced me to take the tour although, it would be later than planned. He adjusted his time and schedule giving me precise directions on how to get to the city for the tour. Mehrdad is a very knowledgeable, kind, and respectful young man. I had a wonderful time with him, seeing most of the 12 sites originally planned. He made me feel safe and comfortable hopping on and off the trains and visiting various locales. Despite the delay in my flight the tour of Paris led by Mehrdad made it a most memorable and fun time in Paris! Thank you, Mehrdad! Excellent job!
I contacted a Viator agent requesting the services of a private driver. The agent said yes this tour is a driver but she is also going to be your guide. Fine enough. I book it using the link the agent sent me and the next day a nice woman shows up with no vehicle, expecting me to take five children on a five hour walk in 32° temperature. Almost $700 and they would not refund me my money. I would not use this company.
Sorry, but have to say that I was disappointed with our guide. Compared to other tours we did, she was just not up to the standard we had did with the other guides. Felt like we had to pull information out of her. Disappointed we paid so much for this tour.
Jean provided us with the perfect walking tour of Paris! We got to take amazing photos with most of the City's major landmarks, walked some of it's trendy/unique neighborhoods, and even had time to stop and enjoy some amazing wine, beer, and other local delicacies at an "annual harvest fair" we randomly visited along the route! An absolute must!
We walked all over Paris and saw things we would not have seen otherwise. Experienced the metro which was eye opening and then ended up at the Eiffel Tower. Our guide Nicholas showed us everything we ask and gave us so much information. We even stopped for a beer.
My first full day in Paris was spent with Jonathan on a 5 hour tour. The day was absolutely amazing. Jonathan and I walked to sites were he told the history and importance of each site. The guided tour was also very helpful in understanding where points of interest were located. Jonathan is a very knowledgeable and interesting young man who made the entire day very enjoyable. After the day with him I was able to conquer sites on my own without a fear of getting lost.I highly recommend this tour and Jonathan. 5 stars are not enough!!!!
Claire our guide was flexible and showed my family the best spots in Paris! Some many pictures and memories I can’t thank her enough! Highly recommend the tour with guide Claire.
The tour lacked sufficient introduction and information, focusing primarily on extensive walking. Despite being promised a 5-hour tour, it concluded in just 4 hours, yet we were still charged for the full duration. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this tour as it did not live up to its value for money.
Anastasia was an absolutely fantastic tour guide and so accommodative with our 7 month old daughter. We saw Paris in a way we would never have been able to without her assistance.
Took the walking tour with Anastasia and she was absolutely amazing. We walked what felt like half of Paris, and visited a lot of great historical spots.
Using Viator was great. This tour had the option to customize and we tweeked the itinerary just a bit..adding 2 sites and taking out a few to fit the time. Our guide contacted us a few days before so she could determine the route. Our guide, Aliona was the best. She was friendly, fun, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. She navigated us through the busy streets of Paris and the Metro system. She took family photos we never could have gotten and even found a store for my daughter to buy a new outfit for the excursion..lol..don't ask. We enjoyed lunch together and at the end stopped at a store to make some purchases. She took us back to the Nord station and made sure we got on the train without any issues. She went above and beyond and we will never forget her or our experience with Viator. Next vacation ..Viator will be our tour choice. Thank you.
The Lourve was maybe more impressive than anything else in terms of size. It was interesting to see the influence of the Roman empire on architecture throughout the city. The Grand Palais and Alexander III bridge were incredibly detailed, amazing to see in person. Our guide Anna was excellent and worked with us on changing our starting location and didn’t miss a beat running the tour out of order. We elected to walk the whole thing rather than take the metro and we saw lots of things not on the tour list. The whole city is impressive in its beauty.
Weronika was a wonderful guide as well as a great addition to our little group. She was incredibly patient with my two kids, and intuitively knew what they would be interested in, as well as when they might need breaks. She showed us some wonderful hidden gems what we would have never seen on our own.
when using the viator site we searched for driving tours, from that search we booked a driving tour then when they showed up it was a walking tour, my mother is disabled and they had no solution and they also refused any kind of refund, this site is a total rip off
Hi Everything was very good Our guide was Tugce 🤗 We want to thank her for the whole tour because she was wonderful and helpful! 😍 With her I saw Paris as it is, wonderful! Thank you Tugce 🤗
Sacre Coeur. The guide arrived just on time and seemed listless. Had to be prompted and sometimes could not answer the questions asked.
I am so disappointed. The guide was late and used his other job as an excuse, calling it an emergency. He seemed shaken when he realized he was touring Black people for the day. He didn’t seem to know that the group consisted of seniors/young children and was agitated. This guide didn’t show us anything that was supposed to be on the itinerary and we ended up on a bus and ferry just driving by the landmarks. While on a bus he began arguing with a fare checker about another person riding the bus. That wasn’t even his concern. What if he had been arrested? The conflict continued after we got off the bus when it didn’t have to. I’ll add that the fare checker was a man of color. This guide also has issues with the wealthy and complained about them. That also made me uncomfortable. I shouldn’t know your personal issues with anyone because as the guide you don’t know who you’re touring. This guide was also rude/misogynistic as he didn’t talk to my mother or myself for majority of the tour. He mainly spoke to my stepdad until he was told that I was the main person and the purpose was for my son to get the Information for school. He would also walk ahead of us or act as if he wasn’t with us. It was so disappointing to go all the way to Paris for a less than mediocre experience. I would have been better off on my own trying to explore rather than waste $500. I hope the other guides are far better than the man we had to endure. The best part of the tour was when we parted ways at the end of the day. For him to say that the things in the itinerary are not what he shows people means he’s doing his own thing. I paid for a certain experience and I got nothing close to it. There’s a lot more I can say but this should be enough to give you an idea of what you may encounter. If your guide’s name is L.-G., you may want to ask for another guide. Even if you’re not a tourist of color, he just plain didn’t seem to enjoy his job. If you’re going to spend money on a tour you should get the best tour.
Louis was such a welcoming and friendly guide for our day in Paris. Enjoyed his company and learned a lot about French history! Very accommodating and we made the tour exactly what we wanted it to be!
Anastasia was truly our best private tour guide we used during our 4 country - 5 European cities summer tour this year. My wife and I are frequent travelers and have used private tour guide in may different countries and Anastasia's guidance is top notch. You have a felling that you are experiencing the tour with a very close friend of yours, that's how relatable she could be. On this tour, we were with two of your young kiddos--12yrs old and 8 yrs old and she seamlessly was able to relate fully with all of without missing a bit. No one was left out. Our kiddos rated our Paris private tour with Anastasia as the best out of all the 5 private tours we have had in the past 2 weeks. She guided us through the major tourist attractions and other Pairs hidden treasures that we would never have discovered on our own. The icing on the cake was her taking us to a gallery and patiently let us all waltzed around with no pressure! Thank you so much Anastasia! We are coming back to Paris, just my wife and I and we do hope we will be able to connect with her during our next trip.
Anastasia is the best private tour guide we have ever used. My wife and I are frequent travelers and our private tour guide experience ranged from OK to good. Anastasia blew it out of the park. At this tour, we were with our kids (12 and 8 yrs old) and she made everyone felt at ease. In this trip, we used private tours guides in Amsterdam, Antwerp & Brussels before we used Anastasia in Paris and the kids only talk about our tour in Paris. Wonderful experience. We plan to come back to Paris and hopefully we will connect with Anastasia.
Our guide barely spoke English and didn't share any insights during the tour - I had told her what we would like to see and she wanted to veer off and take us to one of her friends stores. Not worth the money.
My husband and I enjoyed our tour with Anastasia. She was passionate and knowledgeable about the places we visited and Paris in general. The tour was customizable for the places we were most interested in visiting and what best suited us. Definitely recommend!!!
My guide, Anna, found me, and while I was expecting a French greeting, I was met with a Russian one. Oh, this is going to be interesting! Anna made my day: Knowledgeable. Charming. Flexible. Willing to put up with my teasing. (When do we go for French wine and cheese. Now? How about now?). To be honest, I thought I would use about two hours of my five-hour tour to get oriented and then be on my way. But, instead, it was five hours of not only seeing and learning a bit about Paris, but very timely political and personal conversations. As a luxury travel agent and travel writer, I cannot recommend Anna enough.
The tour became all the more exciting because we had in our guide Claire, good historical, social and current events knowledge on the places we visited. She was happy to answer all our questions but also elaborate on areas where she felt we missed out some important detail. The Guide made all the difference to our Tour. Thanks Claire.
Our guide was very friendly and went to places we wanted to see. She was very knowledgeable and gave us some good tips. She needs a bit more work on her English language.
We really enjoyed the tour and the attention of Jonnathan our guide, and there were small children and adults. 😉👍 We consider it a success to have hired the service!!!
It was my worst trip, seeing how I had to leave my things thrown away due to bad information and why not talk about the treatment of the staff and my daughters crying for leaving their things was the most painful
