We could not rate this highly enough - Joe, our guide was so fantastic, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and so much fun. His love of Paris was contagious and we loved absorbing ourselves in the history, and beauty that he showed us. It also made the rest of our holiday wonderful as we were able to navigate the city so easily once we'd been on the tour. We absolutely loved it and are so grateful for the memories that Joe has given us.

Itinerary
The first half of the tour will be in this charming part of central Paris. One of the oldest parts of Paris, the Latin Quarter got its name from the Latin that was spoken by all of the La Sorbonne University students back in the days when Paris had one of the first international Universities in the world. You'll love cycling on its tiny back streets and learning its vibrant history.
The Shakespeare and Co. Bookstore has almost become a shrine to the written word. It's in a medieval building with wooden beams and plaster walls. It has shelves overflowing with the literature of all ages and sorts. You'll learn its fascinating history and then have free time to explore inside it and maybe meet some of the the authors who actually sleep in the store!
The Procope is the oldest Café in Paris! The Procope was founded in 1686 and has seen many of the most famous people in history eat there. Among them were Benjamin Franklin, Voltaire, Napoléon Bonaparte, and Victor Hugo. You'll learn a few of the fun stories that have happened here and be able to take souvenir photos too!
Saint Sulpice is, almost, the biggest church in Paris! A few more centimeters tall and it would be bigger than Notre Dame Cathedral. This Church has definitely seen an amazing history. Learn about its sorted past, its mismatched towers, and why it inspired Dan Brown to include it in his book: The DaVinci Code. Then go inside to see its majesty for yourself.
Although a huge building the Pantheon remains a hidden gem as very few foreign travelers realize just how amazing it is. It is the final resting place for the noblest French people in History. You'll learn about scientists: Pierre and Marie Curie, Authors: Alexandre Dumas and Victor Hugo, as well as Dancer/Activist: Josephine Baker.
Taking a break on rue Mouffetard you’ll admire the local café ambiance that is well off the beaten tourist trail. You’ll be given a break here, for your lunch, and have 30 minutes to enjoy it at your own cost. This is where locals go to get the best savory crepes in Paris, but you can eat at an adorable little French bakery or café if you prefer!
The Arenes de Lutece is an ancient Roman arena. Think about the Roman Colosseum but inside of Paris! You didn't know that we had a Roman arena in Paris? Well, we do and we keep it pretty well hidden too. You'll cycle into the arena itself and learn about the fascinating history that Rome played in shaping Paris as well what sort of bloody games the arena hosted.
Le Marais was a swamp that was built up and beautified over the centuries by the local Parisian Jewish community. Today it is known for its trendy shops and charming atmosphere especially on Sundays as it is the only neighborhood to have businesses open. In France, shops are required to stay closed for at least 1 day a week, in Le Marais they chose Saturday.
This wall is engraved with the names of over 3,900 non-Jewish French people who risked, and sometimes lost, their lives in an effort to save French Jewish people from the atrocities that they faced during WWII. It is a heartwrenching stop but a necessary one as this tour is a cultural tour and in Le Marais the culture has always been mostly Jewish.
Admire the lovely pedestrian street of Rue des Rosiers as you walk your bike along it peeking inside of its shops and smelling the amazing aromas coming from its restaurants. With all of its tiny boutique stores and highly rated kosher restaurants, it has become the heart of the Jewish neighborhood in Le Marais.
See one of the most beautiful, and certainly the most unique, public squares in Paris, the Place des Vosges. With its red brick buildings built back in the 1500s, this square is a perfect mix of local and high society. The brick buildings house elite art shops and a fancy hotel while the grassy center is where the everyday locals come to picnic and let their kids splash in the fountains.
Philippe August was the king of France back in the 1100's. He built a massive stone wall around the city of Paris to defend it from attack. At that time the king in England was Richard the Lion Heart. Learn about their odd relationship and why Philippe built the wall. We'll stop at the largest and best-preserved part of the wall today and you will be impressed.
See the Hotel de Sens this fortress-looking mansion is tucked away from the tourist trail and comes complete with turrets and gargoyles. You'll learn why it was built and the funny story about how it got a cannonball stuck in its facade!

Superb and unique way to see the city! Our tour guide, Michael was exceptional. He guided us around town safely, stopping several time so we could stroll at each landmark, while also offering to take as many pics as we wanted. It was a dreary, overcast day, with a few sprinkles, but this actually added to the charm. We really enjoyed seeing La Maria and Latin Quarter, as these are not part of the usual touristy areas, and had more of a neighborhood vibe. Michael also let us stop for lunch at a lovely circle of restaurants, where we chose a quaint cafe, had a bite, and people watched. The route was almost all flat, at a leisurely pace, so would be appropriate for nearly everyone. Would highly recommend!
Super tour! We are frequent visitors of Paris but de guide Arnould took us to places we did not know. Arnould knows a lot about Paris and its history. I recommend this tour! Perfect and my compliments to Arnould!
My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in Paris, and this bike tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, a former student in Paris, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city. He took us to hidden gems and shared fascinating stories and local insights that we would never have discovered on our own. There were manifestations happening in the streets that weekend, but he navigated everything so smoothly that we felt completely safe and relaxed throughout the experience. It was such a fun, authentic, and memorable way to explore Paris! We absolutely loved it and highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover Paris beyond the usual tourist attractions!
Aaron my guide was very knowledgeable, and an interesting and fun person. 6 stars for him.
Gigi was a wonderfully entertaining guide and the tour was well thought out. The historical background to the sites was most interesting.
We had a lovely day with T, our guide. He was very knowledgeable and the secret stops were interesting and perfect for what we were looking for. Nice pace. Would highly recommend.
Michael was an extraordinary guide, knowledgeable and patient. The area was flat and we made several scenic stops.
I was disappointed in the tour. Too many cars and trucks on the roads to enjoy the tour.very stressful worrying about the traffic to enjoy it. It was way too long. It lasted 5 hours, mostly waiting at lights to cross the very busy roads.
The tour was amazing. So informative, fun and different. Our guide Arnould was super knowledgeable and friendly.
Arnaud was informative, fun, creative & enthusiastic. He brought the group together to get to know Paris & each other. I felt very safe joining as a solo traveller.
This small group was fun way to explore the city. We went Sunday from 10-2 before traffic and tourists were plentiful. Highly suggest going early am
Michael was a very good tour guide. We are so happy to see nook and crannies of Paris plus popular tourist spots on a bike. He was very accommodating and took time to explain in details when we had questions. Be sure to be in a decent shape if you are doing this tour as the uphill parts were not easy if you are out of shape.
Was so fun. I loved gliding along Parisian streets. Our guide was so professional and accommodating.
Well organized, good communication, ready to locate meeting place, Guillaume was outstanding guide. We enjoyed each of the stops. The amount of time was perfect
Great tour. Lena was lovely and very informative.
Gil our tour guide was excellent. Nice pace, great historical information, and funny cultural stories.
Antione was absolutely wonderful, I travelled with my three children and husband and the tour was easily completed, I learnt a lot about the Latin Quarter and the cycle ride was wonderful. It is definitely a great experience for the whole family!
overall it was ok, but we missed a litle the ambition of the guide. it was much „ oh you can look here an there“ and „take 15 minutes to walk around“. the generall concept of a sight seeing tour, that someone tells you about the city, the history etc. was not fullfilled. for what was offerered, the price was to high.
Loved this tour! Have stayed in this area several times and had not discovered many places on the tour. Arnaud was an amazing guide!
Antoine was nice and informative but the pace was ridiculous. We rode for 5min and then took a 15min break. There were too many breaks. The lunch break took 1.5 hours. The tour could have have been completed in 1.5 hours… The meeting instructions were very clear - to be there 15 min prior to the start of the tour at 10am. No one was there. A few min before the scheduled time, Antoine showed up but was listening to music and eating and avoiding any contact with anyone. Only at 10am, one of the participants went up to him and had to ask if he was the guide, when he finally identified himself as the guide. It was very strange and unwelcoming and we started 15min late as a result. The information was helpful but it could have been a better tour. Thank you.
It was a fun ride and we learned few facts from Gigi our very French guide (frog legs). Highly recommended!
Without a doubt, this was the highlight of my trip to Paris! Gigi, our bike tour host, was fantastic. He shared interesting insights about every monument and view along the route and was always attentive to the group, making sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a great tour with Antoine today. He is a very good guide, who was low key but was also clear with his instructions. I have visited France quite a few times and we found many interesting spots and stories of this wonderful city. The bike was a single gear so a moderate level of cycling ability is helpful. I am happy to recommend this tour.
Guillaime was an excellent tour guide. The day was so pleasant and I learned so much. Merci!!
The guide was late and we almost left. It was Paris time, lol. It turned out it was just me and my niece on the 3pm tour. We did the overnight from Nova Scotia to Paris. Left ur luggage at the hotel desk and we're off. Best way to bet jet lag. He was full of excitement and enthusiasm to show and tell us everything about each stop. It was busy rush hour when we returned to drop the bikes off which was overwhelming for me. I fell off at one point. He was fantastic and did not make me feel embarrassed at all. Highly recommend for your first trip to Paris. This gives you the layout of the area and highlights the main attractions!
Brilliant tour with Irving. He was fun and knowledgeable with excellent English and a welcoming manner. Nice pace of trip. We loved seeing inside Shakespeare and Co bookshop, also the St Sulpice church. Nice lunch stop on Rue Mouffetard where we all went our separate ways. We chose Le Cedre for excellent cheap Lebanese schwarma etc. Great ride along the Seine cycle path at the end. The time flew by!
Joe was wonderful and thought us so much about Paris. We really enjoyed it and would book it again. Thank you.
Tibault was our guide and he was amazing. He is a native Parisian and had extensive knowledge of the city. The sights on the tour were perfect, a good mix of grand and unusual things. My husband and I just kept telling each other the whole time how much fun we were having. Highly recommend.
Our guide ‘T’ met us well on time and immediately showed us an engaging manner. After collecting our blue bikes at a nearby garage off we went. It was one of the best travel tour experiences we have been on. ‘T’ made it interesting with the various stops were he chatted and gave us historical information on each area of interest we were at. I’ve not ridden a bike in over 30 years and it was super easy. There are a few main streets you encounter and cross and that was a big intimidating. I think especially if you have young children just make sure they are confident on a bike on a road and built up area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It gives a great way to get to know Paris a little more than the traditional sites.
We had a great time on this tour yesterday, highly recommend. Our guide Michael was awesome, super friendly and made sure we were all safe. His english, was excellent, great guy. Highly recommended, we're back in Paris in a few weeks and looking forward to the Versailles tour.
The Blue Fox Bikes Tour, hidden secrets was great. Irving was our guide and he was amazing, led us safely around, gave us an insight and information on places you wouldn’t know about on the usual tourist route. Enjoyed riding the bike around and seeing a different view of Paris.
This is a terrific tour! Not too fast and not too slow. Joris did a great job of guiding us to and explaining the hidden gems of Le Marais the La Quartier Latin! We felt very safe throughout the tour.
Excelente Tour with Guide Theo. Full of knowledge about the main monuments and hidden gems of Paris. And also careful and attentive with the preferences of the participants of the tour. Excellent!
My husband and 19 yr old son went on this tour and they could not stop talking about how much fun they had and how they loved the tour guide. They said he had a great sense of humor and made the bike ride in a hot day enjoyable. Even for days after the tour, my son would remember details the tour guide shared with them. I think it was one of their best memories from our vacation!
A really fun way to explore the 5th and 6th arrandisements and discover some of the lesser known tourist spots around the Latin Quarter. The biking is not at all strenuous and there were a handful of kids under 10 that all did great. Guillaume was our guide and he was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating to needs that arose along the way. Highly recommended if you have half a day to spare.
I can’t recommend highly enough. This was a great way to experience some of the off the beaten path locals around Paris. The guide was great. Always felt completely safe riding in traffic. Don’t hesitate. Book it.
Aaron showed us many interesting sites around the Latin Quarter, which we could have never found on our own. He personalized the tour and made sure we had a great time. It was nice to get away from the main tourist crowds for a day and the bikes made the heat more bearable.
Guillaume with bluefox travel was excellent, informative, and friendly guide. He made the tour enjoyable for my husband, my daughter (5 y/o) and I. Would definitely do another tour with Guillaume again! Biking through Paris was a great experience and you can see why there are so many bicyclists.
We are two families with adults and teenagers. We had such a great time with Guillaume - he has so much knowledge and he is so funny. The Secrets was definitely a highlight of Paris for our family
Great way to explore some lesser popular areas of Paris. Michael our guide was excellent. Highly recommend.
Our guide Gigi (sp?) was a great guide! He's a great storyteller and made it a very fun tour. Great way to see Paris through a local guide. Highly recommended!
Our guide Guillame was phenomenal. It was such a treat to bike through the Marais and Latin Quarter and learn little tidbits of French history and culture.
We had the most wonderful bike tour with Joris ("Joe") as our guide. After very little sleep the night before and in the middle of a heatwave, we weren't sure whether a bike tour would be enjoyable. We're so glad we went - it ended up being the absolute highlight of our stay in Paris. Joe was an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely caring. He made everyone feel at ease, and his passion for the city really shone through. Our children absolutely adored him and had the best time exploring Paris by bike. We were in a small group and everyone was chatty, it was a lovely morning getting to meet other visitors to the city. We were never in a rush and there was plenty time to stop off for photos. Thank you, Joe, for such an unforgettable experience. We couldn't recommend this tour more highly!
Antoine is an easy going Parisian who grew up in Paris. He shared some great stories and some even better memories of his youth in the city! He made sure we were safe but also gave us the space to learn how to bike in Paris. It was a fabulous experience!
Our guide, Michael, was engaging and informed. This was an interesting look at some of the less well-known historical places in Paris. If you want something different that is educational and enjoyable, I would definitely recommend it!
Outstanding!!! I travel a lot, and this is one of the best experiences I ever had. Our guide Antoine is absolutely phenomenal.!!!
We were out on bikes for about four hours which included numerous stops in areas I would have never discovered by myself. Our guide Michelangelo was very knowledgeable and fun
The BEST thing we did in Paris with kids! We did the AMAZING RACE Bike Tour of the Latin Quarter and Le Marais with Arnaud. It was fabulous! At every stop the kids had to do a challenge to win coins which kept them engaged and very happy. Our kids aged 8, 9 and 12 navigated the bikes and traffic fine and we were very well looked after by our amazing guide! Thank you, Arnaud, for such a memorable day in Paris :)
This was a great experience and a brilliant way to see the Latin Quarter and Le Marais. We had considered cancelling due to the extreme heat but so glad we didn't. Cycling was actually cooler than being on foot! Antoine was an brilliant guide-relaxed, informative, funny. He made sure we had plenty of stops at the water fountains and the pace was gentle. The length of the trip was about right but we were sad when it came to an end. The group size was perfect-I would not have wanted it any bigger.
