Great way to get a brief view of the top sights, to prepare a visitor to spend more time in depth. Place-to-place travel is all by Metro, so not so much a walking tour as a mass transit tour. Didn't go into any of the sights, so it's kinda like a hop-on-hop-off tour, but on foot/Metro rather than a double-decker bus.

We met Noah, our tour guide, and the two other Paris visitors in Montmarte where they stopped to get something to eat. Our guide, Noah, a 26-year-old, well-versed guide originally from Denmark, spoke fluent English and has lived in Paris for a number of years. He was a very charismatic person who enjoyed sharing lots of interesting tidbits about Paris, including history, current events, upcoming activities. In a Metro subway station, he taught us how to get tickets, how the schedules worked, and we got on the metro and traveled to the arc du Triomphe. he shared lots of interesting information on the Arc du Triomphe and we began a walk down to our next Paris site. He pointed out lots of important architecture, We spent the most time at the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge and Notre Dame. His guidance on, you know, how to secure tickets and read the schedules really helped us the next day when we took the train to the Musee de Orsay. Noah loves living in Paris, and it shows. I would highly recommend you take this trip or one that includes Montmartre in the tour. Ask for Noah by name . You’ll have so much fun on his tour, you’ll never forget it!
Totally must do this tour! Our guide was VERY knowledgeable! Great introduction to Paris. Also, a really introduction and how to use the metro.
Alejandro was so great. Had lots of information to share. Was a great introduction to Paris. And how to use the metro/subway. Highly recommend for first time visitors.
It was a very informative overview of Paris and got us accustomed to using public transportation. Great thing to do at the beginning of the trip. We usually do a hop on- hop off bus to get the overview but the addition of all of the practical tips on getting around using public transportation was very useful. Of course, you have to be very mobile with lots of stairs. Being in our 70s meant we were exhausted at the end! Kudos to Olivia, our wonderful guide!
We saw a lot of the highlights in a 3 hour period - and now we will go back to visit the ones we want to see in depth. Olivia was a great guide!
I have a travel company for black queer women and nonbinary people so I booked this tour for a group of 6 of us. Our guide was knowledgable, helpful, and patient. The tour did go a bit fast and there was not a ton of time to really take in the sights, just snap a few pictures. I learned that my group is not one who likes the Metro so I probably would not do this again but it is good for people who want to learn more about how the Paris transit system works as well as have a very brief overview of some of the iconic sites.
Guy was great! Nice mix of walking and train. Learned lots about navigating Paris. Was nice to hit the major tourist attractions with the crowds
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and clearly knew a lot about Paris, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the tour itself because I didn’t feel like we got close enough to some of the major sights. For example, I was really looking forward to seeing the Eiffel Tower properly, but we viewed it from quite a distance and I ended up going back on my own later to actually experience it up close. The tour covers a lot, but I think that comes at the expense of spending meaningful time at some of the main attractions. If you’re looking for a broad overview of Paris and its history, you may enjoy it, but if you’re hoping to get close to the major landmarks, I’d keep that in mind.
It’s our own fault because we didn’t do our research but it was more riding on the metro than walking.we started out having lunch, which was a surprise because I thought we’d start our tour right away. The guide was very knowledgable and informative so we did learn a lot, which was the point of the tour so that was awesome. The other tourist touring with us were very friendly too..
Noah was an absolutely wonderful guide for 6 tired travelers. He made genuine efforts to get to know us and he was so extremely knowledgeable. I am thankful he helped us figure out the metro, he offered to take group photos for us, and he gave us lots of tips that we used for our week in Paris. Thank you, Noah!
Guy was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He got to know each group and also got the group members to interact with each other. He made sure everyone got their questions answered. Guy made sure everyone u dersyood and felt comfortable using public transportation. We got to see so much and we definitely felt more confident using public transportation.
We enjoyed our tour and learned so much about every area we went. Not to mention, we learned how to use the metro system. It was a great way to start our trip.
Guy was fun and knowledgeable. He really made an effort to include every participant.
Tour guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. The teens and children in our group were engaged also. Great experience learning how to navigate the metro lines!
Very interesting tour and great guide ! The walking part so much better than the metro ride but worth taking this combined tour.
Would have given it no stars but that wasn’t an option. Terrible customer service. Tour operator as well as customer service.
Waste of time and money. Our tour was cancel the day of, we were moved to another tour. It was supposed to be a 5hr tour, the guide said it’s too hot so it will only be 4 hrs. Little info was given during our very slow 1hr walk before we stopped for a 30min break which none of us understood AND our guide would not speak to any of us for clarification on what we were doing. We were even given incorrect info at one site, it was so bad that we left the tour. I have reached out to the tour operator and had no response.
Levon was a very informative guide, and provided knowledge about the city and parts of the tour. Would highly recommended this tour for an introduction to Paris
Most of the tour was spent on subways and not enough on visiting the sites or learning the history. This is a good tour for someone who does not like to walk or if the weather is not good as you spend a lot of time underground.
My family time slot to me meet the guide was at 10:00 am, when we got there he showed up w a group of ppl and told us that we are now in the second part of the tour. So we missed a lot from the first part. Makes us feel cheated. Other than the guide was great.
Noah is very considerate, funny, informative, charismatic and helpful. We had a big bright sun over our head ytd but he kept up the energy of the whole group for 3 hrs straight. Truly recommend this to any traveler who is only in Paris for a few days!
Great experience. Special thanks to our guide Adva. She was very helpful.
It was very informative and fun. The guide Guy was terrific. The three hours went by fast. Highly recommend!
The highlights of Paris was really fun. We didn’t know we needed a MetroCard, which slowed things down a little bit.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we would take another tour with him. Would recommend this tour.
Alex was a great tour guide, learnt a lot. The group started to thin out as time went and we never got to do all 15 sites. But was a good experience
Guide was friendly and it was a great way to see all the important sights as well as learn about the Metro. However, our particular guide was soft spoken and moved way too quickly for the group. She only had basic knowledge of the sights and knew very little about the surrounding buildings. We felt forced (although we agreed) to join a group already in progress so we missed the first part of the tour
Totally worth the money for my first visit to Paris as my guide, Adva share the history, looking out for everybody, tips for tour in Paris.
The tour was a great introduction to both the sights and getting around on the metro. We saw and learned so much more than if we had attempted to navigate ourselves.
This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to answer everyone's questions and made our one day visit to Paris unforgettable! Oh! And he knew the perfect spots for the most amazing picture!
Our guide Sashka was very knowledgeable she took us seamlessly around the city and explained the history of the iconic landmarks. We also feel more confident on the Metro now too. This is a great way to see Paris and we would highly recommend this tour.
Went with my 22 year old daughter. So nice to learn how to use the metro and also learned so much about the areas visited. Would do it again
We had a paris tour with Daniel todsy he was very helpful and informative . He reached out when we had a bit of trouble meeting up. Was very patient with everyone , helped with pictures . A wondeful fun day
We were first time visitors to Paris, and were only there for a couple of days, so this tour worked perfectly for us to get to the must see items on our list. We covered a lot of ground, both on Foot and the metro. We saw many of the “major“ sites – Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumphe, Moulin Rouge, and our wonderful tour guide Marielle gave us history on them all. She was very friendly and made the tour highly enjoyable. Highly recommend!
A lot of walking, 4 metro rides. You see a lot of the biggest landmarks in Paris. Highly recommend taking this tour in the beginning of your trip to Paris so you can get your bearings in the city. Convenient meeting point!
I actually checked the reviews before booking this tour and i actually got very disappointed. Considering that we were going to have only 2 and a half days in Paris, this was a good tour to see must visits of Paris, however, not enough information about the city and places that we visited was provided to us. Our guide would just give us a very brief overall info about the sights, where, I believe we could easily learn a lot more if we searched ourselves… our tour guy, Barbara, was not enough entertaining.. during our walks from point to point, she would not communicate at all. Considering that we were group of 4 in the tour, it could definitely be a lot easier for her to take control of the group…
Sara was excellent. She gave us great insight and knowledge to not only the things in the tour but additional sights as well.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly - thank you! We were late arriving due to an emergency at our hotel. The operator accommodated us to join later.
There were ten people in the group including me, everyone can hear what the guide says even he was not wearing a microphone. We walked and took the metro system, it was convenient and easy. Daniel shared all the historical information with us and made sure that everyone’s safe and had photos with all the spots. I appreciated that since I traveled alone, with his help I can have pictures with all the magnificent spots of Paris. I think it’s worth the price for this such interesting tour.
It’s a great way to hear about the major attractions in Paris. Our tour guide, Jazmine, was fun, attentive and vey knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend!
Jasmine was a wonderful and informative guide. I would highly recommend a tour with her. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs in and out of the metro.
Great tour! Our tour guide Yasmine was very knowledgeable! We learned how to use the metro for the rest of our trip!
Guide on time and covered everything well. Took care not to lose us in subways.. only problem was with bad participants
The walking tour was a wonderful introduction to the city! Our guide was from New York actually and she was so fun, knowledgeable and knew exactly what information tourists need to navigate Paris well. She also made sure we had snack and bathroom stops (very important in a public toilet sparse city)!! We took funny pictures holding the Eiffel Tower and most importantly, rode the metro, allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the process and become proficient at getting around on our own. Highly recommend this tour!
Great way to be introduced to the great structures of Paris, some interesting facts and the history of them. Daniel did a great job in explaining how to navigate the public transportation system and where you were if you decide to come back later on further explore some of these landmarks in great detail. Highly recommend for the beginning of your stay in Paris.
Barbara was an amazing tour guide. She was kind and patient. Despite the unpredictable weather, we managed and went with the flow. Thank you, Barbara.
This experience felt less like a traditional tour and more like an orientation to Paris. Our guide walked us through different districts and highlighted what to see in each area, on our own time after the tour. We were shown how to navigate the subway. We received other recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore independently. One other noteworthy item- this is the first time I’ve experienced a guide requesting tips which was unexpected. I will say that I generally give tips, however, explicitly requesting them was surprising.
Our guide was nice and very informative. The only reason it is not 5 star is because there was not 15+ sites
This was a great introduction to Paris! We saw many highlights in 3 hours. We also learned about riding the subway which was very useful. I recommend this tour at the beginning of your visit so you get a preview of many of the wonderful options to see in Paris. We were a small group of four so we got to see a lot and ask many questions of our guide. Aurora was running just a few minutes late because she was completing a previous tour. So we contacted Viator and they reassured us immediately that our tour guide would be there in just a few minutes. And she was! Great customer service. Aurora was charming, knowledgeable, and yet quick to admit if she did not have an answer for us. I love the fact that she was from Norway so I could speak Norwegian with her.
