The building itself is almost as impressive as the artwork inside. Everything went smoothly with our booking and we had a wonderful afternoon exploring the museum. The audio guide was simple to follow and helped us appreciate many pieces we might otherwise have walked past.
The guide to give us our tickets was no where to be found. We eventually went into the museum only to be told that the tickets we had just been emailed (a couple of minutes before the entry time) was for the audioguides only. It was only thanks to the young staffer at the entry that asked me to download the tripadvisor app and then went in and found our entry tickets. Terrible instructions by the company providing this service.
We did the Montmartre walking tour with Tetiana . She was not only knowledgeable but approachable and playful. She could answer all our questions and knew the exact spot to stop either for pictures , to avoid the sun or for safety. It was a pleasure to do the tour with Tetiana.

Orsay is absolutely beautiful — former train station turned museum feels historic and warm. The audio guide made it so much better understanding the stories behind the paintings and sculptures. We spent around 2.5 hours here, and still didn’t catch everything. A great experience for art lovers.
