Anatole was an amazing guide- an academic, who is kind, knowledgeable, and fun. He had a lot of great insight into the art and art history. If I could book him for all my tours I would absolutely do so!!

Lee was a fantastic guide Ask for him
Nancy was a great guide, very knowledgeable, personable and interesting. Except for the crowds- not her fault- it was a great tour.
Our guide Lili was great! Very knowledgeable about art and history. I love her passion and enthusiasm which made the tour more interesting and more fun! It was also an educational experience. Highly recommend this tour and Lili as the guide.
Our guide was Tina. What a wonderful guide. She was so personable, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped us look at art in a new way and with better understanding of the artist’s viewpoint as it related to what was happening in the world at that time. A thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience. Kudos to Tina.
Had a great tour with Adrien. Very knowledgeable.
Manu was excellent! Knowledgeable, good English, friendly, 6 person group very good company, beautiful museum!
A fantastic tour. Our experience was enhanced by our guide Nancy. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and passion provided a wonderful experience. She expertly guided us through a very busy museum allowing us to explore and enjoy everything Le Musée d’Orsay has to offer
The Orsay Museum is a hidden treasure. The building is beautiful and the paintings well organized. The crowds seem to be manageable as compared to other tourist attractions. The paintings are some of the finest artworks ever made. The experience would not have been nearly as meaningful without our very knowledgeable guide, Amber, that put everything into historical perspective and explained all the paintings. The cost of the small group tour was very worthwhile.
Mariam was a wonderful guide through the Orsay Museum! I absolutely recommend the tour 100%. The history and storytelling made every work of art come to life.
I had not been to this museum before and am not a huge fan of the Impressionist movement but Dina brought it all to life for me, my 10yo and my senior mother. She is passionate about her favorite artists and was able to pivot, seamlesly, with the rotating works of art. She was funny too and was able to confidently answer all our questions. We had a great time with her and highly recommend her! Hey Dina - if you’re reading this, definitely check out the toy store - Pain d'épices - it was awesome! Thanks for a memorable tour!
This was a fantastic way to see the Orsay museum. The guide was engaging humorous and attentive. The small group meant personalized guiding. I would only do it this way as a first time visitor. I am very glad I booked this tour.
Adrien is the next guide. Very informative and has a great personality. Highly recommend this Tour if you like impressionist paintings.
Hugo was the perfect French guide. His passion for the art and fun stories made the tour wonderful and entertaining.
Our tour guide was super knowledgeable & very friendly, & we'd definitely recommend this tour of the Orsay to anyone!
This is an adventure into the history behind Impressionism. Our guide was a delightful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
My guide Hugo was fantastic. Highly recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed his teaching and opinions about the art.
Powerful collection of curated art. Much more intimate than the Lourve. Alban was informed, experienced, entertaining and courteous.
Julien was funny and very informative. He helped us see and appreciate details in the art that we had never noticed before!
An excellent Tour. Manu was very knowledgeable and very personable, and led a great tour, integrating the history with the artists and paintings we visited. The small group was great in providing an environment for asking questions and improved the tour.
Liliya was our private guide for the Orsay museum tour for our family of 5, including 3 children ages 9, 13 and 15 and she was excellent with them! We were so pleased with the experience, she was experienced, gave us all ear pieces to help hear her better throughout the tour which was very helpful, and just made the entire experience enjoyable for everyone. Also, she is American and speaks perfect English so if understanding the local guides gets tricky you won’t have a problem with Liliya if you only speak English! She has a degree in Art History, years of adolescent teaching experience and years of experience as a tour guide, which was all evident so she knew how to keep the kids engaged in creative ways. If we return to Paris we will definitely use her again for another tour! Try to book with her!
Our tour with Sunday was everything that we expected and more. We saw the most significant pieces while she also showed us other pieces that were notable. Sunday was knowledgable and personable. We highly recommend this tour and guide.
Sunday was a delight! Made a museum tour interesting even for my kids, 13 and 17! She was witty and very knowledgeable! We loved this laid back tour full of information!
Julian was a delight! Extremely knowledgeable and personable. There were six of us, so a very intimate experience… time for questions and humor.
Great tour and a wonderful way to see the museum without getting lost in the crowds. Jennifer was a great tour guide full of interesting stories about the artist. The museum is my favorite big but not too big.
Lilly our guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and we had a fabulous tour. It was incredibly crowded though on Tuesday bc the Louvre is closed. So be aware that if you go on a Tuesday it will be packed. Lilly was able to maneuver us around but it was wall to wall people.
Eduardo our guide put together a thoughtful and interesting tour drawing together lots of information and prior knowledge. To me it was like putting together the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Musee d’Orsay with Emilie P. Emilie was very knowledgeable, skillfully led us through the museum to see all of the highlights and told us stories about the museum and artists along the way. This was well worth the time and money.
Lots of standing but a slow walk. Very good tour. Our lady, Monika was very informative! We felt like we recived a great review of the history of the artists.
It was a wonderful tour with a small group, getting time to comfortably look around. Our tour guide Liliya G was excellent she was knowledgeable and explained very well. The booking was easy, the organisers gave sufficient information before the tour date.
We had been to the Orsay before and this time we did not want to do it without a guide. Our guide was Florence and our tour focused in the Impressionists. Florence was very knowledgeable of the impressionist movement and organized a very enjoyable educational tour. We were with her for two and half hours and would recommend this tour. Easy meeting. Small group.
We had a small group tour (5 people) from Babylon Tours booked through Viator. Our tour guide Francesca was a wealth of knowledge regarding the museum, its history and its incredible contents. Highly recommend getting a guide for the full experience.
Our private tour of Musee d’Orsay with Hugo Loyon was outstanding. It was educational and very fun. He is extremely knowledgeable and also charming.
François through Babylon Tours did an absolutely amazing job. He was great with our children, especially our 9 year old son. François kept him engaged through the whole tour and he had a great sense of humor. His storytelling skills brought a lot of these artists to life, from Cezanne, Manet, Monet, and Renoir.
Anatole was an excellent guide. Informative and amusing.
Anatol was outstanding! We only booked the tour because there were no individual tickets available; however, we are now so glad that we did - we could never have had the wonderful experience we had if we had done this on our own; Anatol was so knowledgeable, interesting and brought the museum to life!
A great way to appreciate art with an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide
Enticing, informative, well covered the background in details of art collections by Adrian A small group made personal attention and more interactive
It was the first time in Paris for most of us. We booked a small tour of the Louvre and the D’Orsay. Anatole was fantastic. He had great communication with us prior, even texted a selfie so we knew who to look for. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and engaging with us and our adult children. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. He made sure we got up close to all the most important must-see pieces and we didn't feel at all rushed. It was the perfect experience!
Our guide, Valerie, was friendly, knowledgeable and funny! It was a pleasure touring the museum with her!
Florent C made our tour wonderful. His passion about painting made the tour so much more interesting. Thank you!
Miriam did a fantastic job today with our tour. We are experienced travelers; although, first time visitors to this museum. She made the tour very educational for us relative to art and history. We were joined by a young family with 2 girls in elementary school. We were impressed how engaging Miriam was with them and kept their interest for 2.5 hours! Wonderful experience.
Florence knows SO MUCH about the museum, its history and the art contained therein. I learned a lot and had a wonderful experience! She also accommodated us when we needed a break for restroom, water, etc. Merci Florence!
Great tour guide. Anatole was knowledgeable and personable. Gave so much history and backstory to the pieces! Worth every dollar!
We did the Louvre and Orsay private guided tour for 6. It was phenomenal. Florent C was our guide. He was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely good with our 10 and 11 year old. He kept them engaged and made sure they understood what we were seeing and learning about. The lunch recommendation and hour break were much appreciated and we enjoyed spending time together as a family at both venues. I’ve been to the Louvre 5 times and this was by far the best tour I’ve ever been on. I would highly highly recommend touring with Florent in the future. Thanks for a memorable experience.
Although the museum was extra crowded, Nancy was able to maneuver our group for close up views. We saw incredible works of art and she provided history and context that made the experience even more meaningful.
Nancy B was fantastic. I would definitely advise a tour under her guidance.
Nancy B. gave us a very nice tour of the museum. Her insights and humor were enjoyable.
Tina was exceptional! She made the art in the museum come to life and had so much knowledge about Paris history and the art intertwined. Our whole family loved our tour with Tina!
We visited the Musee d’Orsay and our guide, Franchesca, went above and beyond to keep our 4 year old son engaged throughout the museum. She was informative, adaptable and incredibly friendly. I would not hesitate to book again in the future for another tour elsewhere in Paris. A+!!
