This tour was in English. The hiccup was that it was a little bit of a mob scene inside with people looking for their tour guide. The Opera House is magnificent and it was very cool to hear backstage stories and the history of the building. Additionally, we went into some areas the general public cannot, including being able to sit where the audience sits (there are no operas in August, so this was as close as we would get). Our guide was animated and informative. Buy tickets for tours on-line ahead of time.

The whole family enjoyed this tour with a charming guide who told us a very beautiful story throughout this magical place.
Exceptional tour!! Florie was top-notch and the discovery of the Opéra Garnier was magnificent! A must-do!
Very pleasant visit thanks to our guide Virginie. Magnificent opera house.
Superb visit with Manatour and our guide Antoine. He is passionate and fascinating, very beautiful visit 😊
Majestic and hushed. A guided group tour at the end of the day just before the evening performance was the most interesting option for us. Sublime place and history. French guide who is very interesting to listen to. You have stairs to climb; it is not for people with reduced mobility. I highly recommend it! It is one of my favorites ♥️
A very enriching visit with Franck; he delighted us. An extraordinary storyteller. Congratulations on your prodigious and remarkable knowledge.
Guided tour with ANTOINE, a must-do again and again. With humor and passion, he was able to transport us into the wonderful journey of this temple and into the imagination of its creator. Thank you.
A magnificent tour told by Marion. Throughout the discovery of the Opéra Garnier, our guide knew how to tell us the history of the building while blending it with a bit of fantasy. A success, both for my daughter and for me.
A very pleasant visit with Marion, who was able to take us on a journey through time and the history of the Opéra Garnier: the sumptuous decor of its immense creator, the imprint of the young king fond of dance, the first "pointe" shoes of the ballerina Taglioni, the romantic rendezvous in the moon salon, the mysteries of the phantom of box number 5... So many little details that led us in the footsteps of the little rats of the Opera! Thank you to Marion, thank you for these delightful moments.
Very interesting visit, the story is well told, Suzanne put us in a magical atmosphere.
Beautiful and Marion was awesome
The visit with Florie was a super pleasant time. She took us back in time and captivated us with her stories about dancer Leila and Matisse
The guide greeted us at the meeting point, and the tour began on time. She was able to perfectly combine the historic visit of the Palais Garnier with the story of the life of a dancer. A few welcome anecdotes about the life habits and customs of opera at the time and today. This tour is recommended for both adults and children, whom the guide was able to interest throughout the tour (1h45). Congratulations.
Suzanne was exciting and very nice. We had a great time, very informative.
Very nice guide! She is adorable and with ease told story of,a star dancer and with that the stories of National Opera Garnier!Bravo
Our guide was exciting. It has adapted to children and adults. We had a fabulous time discovering the Palais Garnier in history thanks to it. Thank you.
A big THANK YOU to Suzanne for taking us through the past with a guided tour told at the opera Garnier. "A Love of Opera" magnified by Suzanne.
I visited an operatic love affair with a former dancer. That was great. Superb visit to the monument and superbly told. I absolutely recommend.
The visit with Florie was a great experience! A pleasant revisit of the Opéra Garnier! We recommend for an original discovery of this magnificent building!
Great visit to the Opera very fun. Very good concept. Very nice service and equipment of headphones essential to follow the whole guided tour.
A great family tour of the opera, Garnier. Bravo to the guide, took us through the opera with a story of a Swedish dancer. Congratulations to make absolutely.
Marion made us have a great time at the opera A thousand thanks for this beautiful experience What to do to visit differently
Very disappointed by this visit ☹️ We are asked to be present 1/4 hour before to make us wait 1/2 hour after the scheduled time, that is 3/4 hours cumulative waiting... Large closed room (that was kind of our expectation of the visit ) frustration at not seeing the ceiling of Chagall among others. Wandering with a friendly guide punctuated by a "tale" without much interest. Perhaps it would be better to consider a more humorous visit, much more “staggered”. Even if we are told that all these cumulative unforeseen events are due to the opera and independent of the organizer of the visit , coming from the provinces, we regret the 4 hours traveled for such a poor performance.
An incredible and unforgettable experience, a little short but fascinating and living up to our expectations, the history and magic of this opera is magnificent I am taken several photos just as beautiful as each other. The guide Florie who showed us around this place was very kind, kind and smiling which contributed to this beautiful experience, thank you to her.
Guided tour told "a love of opera". Very good visit with a guide at the top telling us little anecdotes of the Opera. Thank you to our friendly guide. Feel free to
Congratulations to Marion for visiting the Opéra Garnier. It was informative and entertaining. Very good time with family in a magical place full of history.
Story tour of the Opera Garnier with Marion as guide! A very good time and very well conducted. A passionate guide who takes us with her in a beautiful story...
The guide was able to convey her sensitivity and her passionate search for the story of an opera dancer. A pleasure to discover this place from the historical and passionate point of view.
Our guide was amazing. The place is beautiful. Very nice visit to the opera. Lots of precious anedoctes. It lasts about 1h30. Very successful
Super nice tour, a friendly guide and knowing how to catch the attention of the public. We recommend this visit.
Narrated tour of the opera house, entitled a love of opera. thank you to Marion for this beautiful visit! I recommend without hesitation!
Yesterday we took part in the tour "A Love of Opera". The visit of the Opéra Garnier is absolutely must, it is a wonder at each new room. We were a family of 7 with all ages from 9 years to 83 years. Everyone loved the county visit proposed by Marion who knew how to catch our attention to all and have answered all the diversity of questions we could invent. Thank you for this discovery
We visited “a love of opera” with our guide Marion. It was really exceptional. Through a true story of a dancer from the opera Selma, we visited the opera with plenty of anecdotes about Selma’s life. Marion is a storyteller who kept us in suspense throughout this wonderful visit. We were with our grandchildren who were delighted with this discovery because Marion knew how to interest and involve them throughout the visit. They're 7 and 9 years old and have retained a lot of things. We will repeat this type of visit to other places. Congratulations to our guide. Philip, Christine, Theo and Manon.
