Notre-dame Tour With Access To The Cathedral

Walking tour on the island with a local guide. Guide cannot go in the cathedral with you. Was a nice way to learn more about Paris and we got to do self tour in the cathedral

We thought we would get a tour inside Notre Dame but our guide abruptly said she couldn’t go inside as we got to the end before going inside and said goodbye. She was very nice but we had trouble understanding her. She was Serbian. We felt disappointed about the tour.

Sidi was amazing and provided us with tremendous facts about the city of Paris and notre dame.

Melanie provided and expert level tour through the island making sure to point out important landmarks and explain changes that had taken place to buildings over the years. When we got to Notre Dame she provided a great overview, talked about the architecture, and detailed where the fire damaged the building. I loved that Melanie had printed materials that she could use to highlight parts of the building that were harder to see from farther away. We highly recommend this semi-private/private tour to get the most out of the founding of Paris and Notre Dame!

Billed as a 90 minute tour of Isle de la Cite with admission to Notre Dame, we heard information in front of the meeting place and again in front of Notre Dame for a total of 45 minutes. We were then guided to the line. The leader was clearly knowledgable, but the most interesting information came only when one of the five of us asked questions. The 10 minute walk from the meeting spot to Notre Dame was done in silence, with the guide only talking to one of the participants.

It's a long walk and if you have mobility issues it can be rough. I became so stressed, my knee gave out and I fell.

We highly recommend Siddhima as a tour guide. Her enthusiasm, high energy and love of Paris was contagious. Before we arrived at The Cathedral of Notre Dame, Siddy showed us many rues of interest that only locals know about. She also gave us info for favorite cafes, boulangerie etc. She was extremely knowledgeable about Notre Dame exposing many of the intricate carvings and statues. My husband and I had visited the Cathedral many years ago and the tour guide just provided us with an overview. Her charisma for her job did not go unnoticed.

Our guide was wonderful! She shared with us many interesting facts about Paris and historical monuments. PLEASE be aware that there was no special line to get into cathedral. We thought joining a small group tour would allow us to queue up in a different line. Wait time in October morning was brief; 10 min

Could not find gathering space. Need better details. We gathered by statute by Notre Dame. Then discovered meeting place was 15 minutes away.

We learned so much about Paris/France during this tour. Our guide Siddhima was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We highly recommend it.

The tour helped us jump the line and get into Notre Dame, but the Guide did not provide much background information

It was impossible to hear Hamish outside during the preliminary walking tour. The group was excessively large- about 25 people! The city noises- construction and traffic make it impossible to hear the narration. The company should have provided each person with a whisper (hearing device). The experience was frustrating.

We had a great time. Our tour guide Pablo was very knowledgeable. Would suggest this tour to anyone coming to Paris for the first time.

Tour was very informative and Ash, our guide, was great! We would highly recommend both to others wanting to see the cathedral and island.

Unfortunately I didn’t ask enough questions when I booked this tour that was not cheap. No tickets are needed to enter the cathedral. No fast entry line included. We had a one hour walk around in the area with a lovely and knowledgeable guide who escorted us to Notre Dame but couldn’t come in with us. Nothing on this purchased tour you couldn’t find or learn on your own. Get the Notre Dame app.

Claudia gave us a nice tour of Notre Dame. We appreciated the details about the exterior. We were able to skip the line and go in with very little waiting. It was crowded in the cathedral and hard to see/hear at times. She pointed out the main features inside and connected them to Paris history as well as biblical history. So glad nothing major was damaged in the 2019 fire.

Andrea was amazing. She was knowledgeable and showed us some out of the way spots. She was kind and wonderful! She was an expert on history and culture.

Our guide was wonderful. She did an excellent job, was very knowledgeable and we were happy to be able to skip the line and get in. The meaning point was a little confusing, partly because of the construction.

Lovely tour with Andrea - she kept history of the area leading up to and including Notre Dame fun and meaningful without getting lost in drawn out and trivial details. I loved her stories and the relatability she had with the group. It was short and sweet, and not exhausting at all! And she was very personable, which is a plus. She was also willing to accommodate when I ran a bit late to the tour without humiliating or insulting in front of the group. Highly recommend Andrea and this tour :)

Kateryna was our tour guide. She was very friendly and very informative about the tour that we took. I would recommend it for anyone who likes a lot of background information on what they are looking at.

Angela Anthony was an amazing host who gave in depth history and information, answered all questions and was very knowledgable. She was very easy to understand and was upbeat and enthusiastic!

Guide was very knowledgeable about the history and rebuilding of the cathedral. We also learned much about the surrounding area and the island it was built on.

Our guide, Karen was terrific. Very knowledgeable, and engaging. The tour took us in and around the streets and squares of Notre Dame as promised. We were disappointed that the “Inside Access” described in the package did not actually fast track us through the queue as expected. We had to stand in the main walk-up queue for approximately 45 minutes. I think it’s important to share this level of transparency with the guests as you pay extra for this specific package and essentially got the same thing as the main package.

Very enjoyable and informative. Nina was our guide today and she was welcoming, friendly and had a good amount of information and stories to share.

Our guide Victorie was excellent. The walking tour from Pont Neuf to Notre Dame was very informative. Waiting for 45 minutes in line to get in to Notre Dame was not planned for as I suffer very bad back pain and standing is the worse thing for pain. I cried. This was not explained when we booked the tour. Yes that we would have to wait in line

Violeta was a wonderful tour guide! We learned so much about the Ile de la Cite. She gave us in depth information about Notre Dame and explained what we should look for when we got inside.

Started with more walking than I expected before we got to cathedral. Guide was very informative and interesting about the area. Did cathedral on our own and then not sure if we were meeting guide after. We should have asked her.

Victoire was a great tour guide, the experience was even better because it seemed like a mini tour of Paris as well as Notre Dame Cathedral. We would highly recommend Victoire for other visitors! Merci!

Meeting at the Equestrian Statue of Henry la Pont Neurf is about 13 minutes walk from Notre Dame. The Guide Carole has excellent knowledge and has a very friendly way. The tour takes in the history of the main palaces and leads to the main entrance of Notre Dame, through lovely squares. We found the whole tour interesting and Carole answered all of our questions. Thank you for staying with us in the queue and pointing out the main parts of the frontage, it was fascinating.

Christal (Chris) was an extremely knowledgeable and engaging tour guide who added lots of little details that otherwise we would not have received. My only regret was not asking if she leads tours at other sites as it would have been quite pleasurable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our semi private tour with Kateryna! She did a great job walking through the points of interest near Notre Dame along with educating us on what the church sculptures represent. Great tour if you want to learn about Notre Dame and the surrounding areas.

This was our first time going to Notre Dame and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! It really is an otherworldly place with so much beauty inside. The stained glass windows and interior were gorgeous to look at. Our guide, Shahnaz, did a great job speaking loudly enough and walking us through Notre Dame. We really appreciated her enthusiasm for the cathedral.

My tour guide for the notre dame tour was wonderful! Saeed was extremely engaging, friendly and informative. I learned a ton and had a great time. I would see every tour Saeed leads :)

We had a great tour with Saeed. He was super friendly and gave us amazing information along the way to Notre Dame Cathedral. Also did an inside tour with him and getting detailed information about the individual chapels made the visit much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend getting a tour with Saeed!

Wonderful guide. Getting into Notre Dame is free. The tour fee is for the guides. Our guide was well worth it.
