We booked a one hour private tour with Sara Asad to see Notre Dame in Paris. We wanted to see the site post-fire. Sara was amazing. We started outside and learned all about the meaning of the images we were looking at. She was very well versed in the history of the cathedral. She explained all the meanings of the exterior statues as well as the history that formed those views. Inside we observed silence as best we could, but she was able to communicate answers to our questions. We were delighted to find that we could stay for an organ recital. She helped us get excellent seats. Sara was the kind of guide you hope you will always get. She did a great job.

Wish that the description of the tour would have stated that on Sunday because of Mass it is hard for guide to explain the history or the Cathedral and explain what we were looking at. I thought the tour included more areas then just the inside of the Cathedral. We could have done this on our own and not paid for a guide. A little disappointed in overall tour for the money we spent.

It was perfect! The guide was very knowledgeable and well informed, and conveyed a lot of information easily. She was very personable and I really enjoyed the whole experience.

Our guide Meli was very knowledgeable and friendly, she gave detailed history and pointed out facts and details we would never have picked up on our own. Notre Dame is a beautiful piece of history to see!

Mellie was our private guide of Notre Dame. She met us promptly, explained the process and gave us a wonderful tour of the cathedral. She is knowledgeable, personable and took the time to listen carefully to our questions and provide the information we requested. I wish I had a transcript of what she told us -- trying to remember the 2000 years of history she provided in a short time is impossible ... but we enjoyed our experience. She has an amazing memory!!!! I would absolutely recommend her for other tours!!!!!

Prior to entering Notre Dame, the guide provides historical information to set the stage for once you enter the church. The expectation in the church is to reframe from talking. With that said, the guide should have photos in a binder to show significant points instead of using a phone. Couldn’t see anything due to the brightness of the sun. Providing headsets while inside would make the experience more informative. The amount of money charged should reflect the experience.

Useless. No guided tour is possible since you cannot talk in the cathedral. Daniel told us what we already knew about the fire

Trip canceled due to Pope visit. Understood but kept getting reminders by email and text ankut the event. Very mixed up wondering if it was on or not. Poor communication

Our guide was good but soft spoken for 5 senior ladies. She also did not identify herself with badge or find us quickly... We felt it was on us to find her. Access to the interior was "here for the prayers" which seemed a little sketchy.

Small group is definitely worth it. Easy to hear guide who was very knowledgeable and gave us details I’d never heard before. Was definitely worth seeing with Kam our guide, even if you’ve been prior to the fire, the restoration is amazing. A must see in Parts.

Nice guide but not worth the money. Only 45 minutes (not a one hour tour that we paid for) and most of that was just walking on our own thru Notre Dame without the guide. Supposedly no guides allowed inside at this time, which they knew in advance but didn't tell us.

We paid way too much for too little service. The tour was suppose to take an hour, but the guide was finished after half an hour - and asked about this, he explained that usually the first half hour was spent standing in line waiting to get in Notre Dame. The tour was just a quick walk trough the church with some obvious comments from the guide.

When they advertise that the tour is of inside and out, the tour guide basically shows you pictures of the inside, She does not come into the cathedral with you. Our guide then told us she would see us outside in 20 minutes, giving us the impression that the tour would continue. We would have said goodbye to her prior to entry and spent more time inside. The tour guide was sweet. Overall not worth the money. To think they received 500 euro for 40 minutes of a few pictures and a little history is dumbfounding.

We booked the semi private tour of Notre Dame. There were six people in our group, which was perfect our Guide, Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable, explained the history, explained the parts of the building that we were looking at and talked about the restoration and renovation that has been occurring since the fire in 2019. The last time it was restored was around 1865 so it’s magnificent to see right now. I am so happy I booked this tour because the line waiting for tickets was clearly 1-2 hours long. And I wouldn’t have stood that l long to get a ticket and I wouldn’t have known about its history or all of the things that I was looking at. Thank you so much, Daniel.

Sarah was a great tour guide. I was very fortunate to tour on a Sunday while a service was in progress. Having the choir sing while you walked around inside was very special. Sarah is very knowledgeable about the history of Notre Dame.

He was very nice, very informed. This had nothing to do with the nice guide, but the tour would benefit from ear pieces. Very hard to hear

Unfortunately, we booked this tour not realizing that August 15th was a very important holy day at Notre Dame cathedral. Our tour guide Sara did a good job showing us around the outside of the cathedral and explaining the restoration after the fire. However, due to the immense crowds, we were unable to access the cathedral. The tour company realized the situation and kindly refunded our money. Rest assured, this is a tour company that puts the satisfaction of the customer as its primary concern.

This tour was an absolute highlight of our multi- country trip. Our tour guide, Ash, was delightful and incredibly knowledgeable about both the history of the cathedral and the renovation following the devastating 2019 fire. The cathedral itself is breathtaking. The insights Ash provided before we went in and the discussion and information after we explored inside were priceless. Amazingly, Ash got us into the cathedral without waiting in line. That was much appreciated on this 99 degree day. Our group gave this four thumbs up.

Our guide was very kind but it was hard for me to understand him with his accent. He spewed a lot of facts from the exterior of Notre Dame and it was information overload… I think if we were able to walk around the exterior, it would’ve been more engaging… Sometimes less is more

Our guide Madeline did a great job explaining the history of Notre Dame Cathedral, the fire, and the rebuilding of this magnificent cathedral. We started the tour on the outside of this ornate cathedral and then entered the interior. After our tour we paid I think 13 Euros to enter the Treasury rooms that contain cathedral gowns, jewels, and cathedral gifts centuries old. We were quite pleased with our tour.

We booked this one-hour tour two months in advance. It was supposed to be a private one-to-one guided tour with one guide and just the two of us. It was not cheap. Booking time was 9:30am. The night before the tour, the agency, Denis Tour, sent us a late message to change the time to 8:30am. So we concurred. When we arrived the next morning punctually, the guide was late, and she was NOT our guide. She had to call another guide. After the latter belatedly arrived, we found out that our so-called private tour did not offer skip-the-line convenience. We had to queue up with all the other people who did not pay a premium like us. As I entered the cathedral, we were told that that was mass service and therefore most areas were cordoned off limits to tourists. Our tour guide was from Nigeria and was NOT a professional guide. She had another full time job and was just moonlighting for this tour guide job. As such, she was not at all knowledgeable about Notre Dame. She was also very reticent for a guide, hardly offered any information about the history, architecture, the 2019 fire, the restoration....etc. To make a long story short, this is a lousy tour, complete waste of time and money. NEVER SIGN UP ANY TOUR BY THIS DENIS TOUR!
