Our tour guide did not show up at all. We arrived at 1:30pm for a 2:00pm tour. After searching until 2:20pm, I received an email from Viator that the tour had been cancelled by the company Viator had selected at 1:36pm that day. We did not get the tour of Notre Dame or the tickets for Ste Chapelle Church as promised. It ruined our day.

After a brief walk through the neighborhood and a visit to Saint-Séverin, they dropped us at Sainte-Chapelle to explore on our own. Highly recommend!
Adrian made this area really come alive! I have been to Notre Dame several times previously, but Adrian provided insights that were truly fascinating. Adrian had a great balance of history, humor and interaction. We loved the tour of the neighborhood as well. The Saint Severin church was a wonderful bonus. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Knowledgeable guide. Not too long of a tour but still a lot of great stops. The walk got us oriented with the whole area around Notre Dame. Only item to note is your guide will email you your tickets for Sainte Chappel day of the tour. Mine went to junk so if you do not see an email with your tickets attached double check your Junk/Spam folder.

We were 15 mins late. We only 4.. we asked after 30 mins., Like to see the last stop with strained glass. Said no time. We could if we skipped Seine & Shakespeare stops.. Talked her into it. On our walk I had to ask for tickets. She said look for a email. Guide could tell I having clarity for vouchers. Guide dropped us off at chapel of stained glass windows security Walked off briskly without providing us tickets to the event. We never found an email ticket vouchers..CONFUSING. Good thing I had a letter to show I had paid for itinerary. Ticket kiosk eventually honored for us

We took the outdoor walking tour of Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle with Nicolas and had a really good experience. He was clearly knowledgeable and shared interesting stories that made the history feel alive — easily worth what we paid for the tour. A few practical notes for other travelers: Notre-Dame interior entry is not part of the walking portion (it’s an outdoor tour of the area). We went back afterward and waited in the cathedral entry line on our own, which worked fine if you plan a little extra time. Sainte-Chapelle admission was included with the tour, which was a highlight. We also stopped at Shakespeare and Company. I hadn’t known much about the bookstore before, and it turned out to be a genuinely interesting visit — one of those extras that makes a guided walk better than just reading a map. If you’re looking for a well-run walking tour with a strong guide and Sainte-Chapelle sorted, we’d recommend this one. Nicolas set a great tone for the morning.
