Notre-dame Interior Or Exterior Tour With Scheduled Group Access

Saeed was a really excellent tour guide for our small group who visited Notre Dame recently. He had a thorough command of English, Parisian/French history & of the church’s many unique characteristics, and delivered his tour with fun anecdotes and relaxed conversation with the group. He also relayed details of the recent, ongoing renovation after the 2019 fire. Saeed was an all round entertaining and informative guide; highly recommend you book him while in Paris! He also does Louvre tours.

Amazing with a BIG thank you to our Persian guide! Easy to find meeting spot, headphones made it easy to hear our guide. Very knowledgeable guide who also recommended a few things in the area that were great. Notre Dame herself is brighter than ever and a must see while in the city, and we understood it better by taking a guided tour.

It was a very informative tour, didn’t wait in long lines and had a wonderful host. Monty not only gave us the facts about the church but also the stories behind the facts. He kept things informative and fun. He also knew a lot about the area and shared stories on the surrounding buildings. We really enjoyed the tour!

Fabulous guide. Was difficult finding the tour company with the amount of people near the meeting spot. Tour company held a very small sign. Not legible from a distance. Should have been organized a little better. Good price.

The tour operator Uncle Sam cancelled at the last minute. The reason given was the Notre Dame was closed and they could not operate the tour. We went to the cathedral at the time of the tour and Notre Dame was open and all other tours were active. Very disappointing because we had to rebook and refund was not automatic. Viator should not offer this tour operator, Uncle Sam.

What a great way to see Notre Dame! Our guide was delightful and brought the history of Notre Dame to life with her storytelling.

We were scheduled for the 8;46 am tour - but received notice that tour was cancelled - so we were rescheduled to 12:30 tour. HOWEVER for the next three days we received notices to be at the 8:46 tour from Viator. We tried calling the sub- tour phone but no answer. So we got u early / went to the meeting site in the rain and NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR THE TOUR. WE WANT OUR MONEY REFUNDED. This was a very poor representation of Viator

Very helpful to have tickets booked to visit inside Notre-Dame. If you want to visit the treasuries (which was neat) you have to go inside Notre-Dame anyways. Tour guide Mo was great - congenial, knowledgeable, kept timing, and did highlights. Helpful with general questions as well.

This Notre Dame tour promised: "Scheduled access with Group tours ( Exterior and Interior)." It provided neither. After a half hour of meeting-place confusion and two trips between Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle to find our tour guide, and a brief tour of Sainte Chapelle, the tour guide left us at the end of the standard tourist line to enter the cathedral, a more than half-hour wait. No exterior tour. No interior tour. A fraud. And Viator refuses, without explanation, to reimburse us any of the $256 my wife and I were charged for tour. I will never contract with them again.

you get priority "skip the line" access. tour guide is very knowledgeable in the history, both past+present, of Notre Dame. The tour size is relatively small (no more than 25vpeople). The tour only covers the 1st floor, not the tower or sacristy. Those are extra.

The tour company emailed me earlier in the day with time change of 30 minutes. No big deal. But then they call me at the original time wanting to know why I hadn't shown up..... at another location. We ran to the new location and other people had the same issues. Then they did NOT include the interior tour of Norte Dame as advertised! The local guide made the best of it (she was great) and we had our tour, but some of the group were really mad and left! Very poor communication by the provider.

The tour guide an information was good , the mikes and headphone were excellent . Did not appreciate the guide making fun of Macron in end , no r did anyone else . The tour was spoiled by that last bit of polit al mockery

A well organized tour. Had a brief tour of the front portals before skipping the line and going inside. We viewed all the interior chapels, viewed the windows and restored artwork and carvings. Explanations were appropriate, not long or short. Our guide used her tablet to enhance our understanding of the cathedral before the fire. Overall, the tour was worth the price.

Our guide, Aida Hammami, was great! She was funny, expressive, and her depth of knowledge on Notre Dame was very impressive. She was able to give small background stories that added to the basic historic information and make it more interesting.

Liz was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She was a joy.

Trip cancelled by a phone call 2 hours before tour. Tip - get your free Notre Dame ticket the day before so you have a plan B. All tickets had gone by the time of cancellation so plans were ruined for the day. A long long wait in the ‘no ticket’ queue.

The tour was great; brief walking. 1 hour was perfect timing for us. Sitting was not an option. Sarah knew it all!

My wife and I had a great tour of Notre Dame Cathedral Paris. We booked it through Viatour which is always good for tours with small groups and great guides. Liz was our guide and she did an excellent job of describing the history of Notre Dame and the repairs that have been made since the historical fire in 2019. This was a great experience.

Excellent small group tour. Daniel has a Good knowledge of the history of the church and pointed out all the highlights. Gave a good background with photos before going inside. He also took pictures for us.

Monte gave a great tour and a lot of context we wouldn’t have gotten on our own. Would highly recommend. Especially since you can skip the long line.

Fortunately our guide contacted us prior to our tour to notify us they were offering an upgrade. However, the upgrade time was prior to our arrival into the country. So they had to refund our money. We are unsure what happened with our original booking, but do appreciate the upgrade offer. It just didn't work out. My wife and I did show up at the original scheduled time, but ended up going on our own through Notre-Dame. We still enjoyed it

We booked the guided tour of the cathedral for August 15th. We arrived at the statue of Charlemagne 15 minutes prior to the 445 start time as directed. The tour guide did not arrive, when I sent a message I received a call asking where I was. The meeting point was changed without any notice to me. When she arrived I was told there would be no guided tour inside the cathedral or expedited entry because it was the holy day of the Assumption. I told her that I would be requesting a refund of my $254 because what I had purchased wasn’t able to be provided. I sent a refund request that day and was informed that no refund would be granted. We took tours of Normandy, Kensington Palace and Stonehenge and had a great time. If the tour wasn’t able to be given because of the Holy day then my booking should not have been accepted and I should have received a refund. This experience has soured what was otherwise a great vacation in Europe.

Sayeed was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and really enhanced my experience of the cathedral. Beating the line was a big plus but his expertise on every detail of the architecture, history, artwork and religious significance of each element of the building was really superb.

The only regret we had was that we had one French speaker and there was no accommodations for him

We were a few minutes late which was nerve wracking but Dianna was kind and they were still outside so made it. It was great to have an inside tour especially post-fire and the small group and headsets worked well and had great access to the guide. Well worth it and Dianna was knowledgeable and had lots of photos too to compare the before the fire and now restored Notre Dame. Thank you!

Our guide Saed was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We booked the tour that covered the outside of the building and inside. We had been before, but it was the first time we learned so much about the inscriptions on the outside of the building before the entrance. He took time with the tour answering all questions and pointed out a lot of extras that if you did the tour yourself you would never have found out about. .
