Fabrice was amazing. He was ready for us with a smile so early in the morning. I loved that he gave us a few highlights of Normandy as we traveled. We went to find my great uncle. While he wasn’t there (and we couldn’t find much if anything on the internet) Fabrice did some research while we were exploring the cemetery. He found my uncle! Would recommend him to anyone!

Itinerary
After departing Paris in the early morning by minivan, travel to the French region of Normandy for your D-Day landing beaches tour. First, stop at Pointe du Hoc, 90-foot (27-meter) cliffs where 225 rangers landed on the morning of June 6, 1944.
Omaha Beach
Then continue to Colleville-sur-Mer to visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, which overlooks Omaha Beach and is home to more than 9,000 white crosses perfectly aligned on 170 acres. Very informative, well organized and effcicient. with a personal touch. Every your American and European should go there to learn and appreciate.
This was an absolutely amazing tour. I have talked about this tour for the past 2 years. Would go again!
It is really an awesome tour! You get to see the beaches and the cliffs that were climbed and the American cemetery. The lunch was good!
Lovely and informative day trip from Paris. Seamless pick up and transport to Normandie. Our guide was informative and friendly.
Our guide/driver, Regis was so knowledgeable and spoke and gave us info the entire trip! He was great!
Our tour guide, Fabrice, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We left the city at 7am and he made sure to stop for coffee along the way. The transportation was comfortable and specious. There were just four of us on the tour. Fabrice was a safe driver and didn’t waste any time getting to or from our destination. He was incredible; personable, patient, and friendly. He shared information and facts we hadn’t heard before. He gave us as much time as we needed at each stop. The sites we visited were indescribably poignant. He said he does this particular tour at least a couple of times per week, but at no point did it seem like he was just “dialing it in”. It was very personalized. Fabrice had answers to every question that was asked. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone looking for an in-depth experience of the events in Normandy.
Our guide Fabrice was exceptional: so historically knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I will recommend him to everyone who wants to take this tour. The tour itself was fascinating, it was almost surreal to be on the D-Day beaches, such a big moment in American history.
Driver was very helpful and provided excellent commentary throughout the excursion. The small group tour is the way to go@
We loved our day at Normandy. Regis did a wonderful job of getting us to our points of interest. We saw so many things, ate at a tasty restaurant and learned so much.
Our trip to Normandy met all our expectations, especially due to our knowledgeable tour guide Nicholas. He was so informed and warm and friendly. It was a 3 hour drive and we felt safe with his driving skills the entire way. We also stopped for a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this tour
It was a great small group experience. He got us there swiftly with no delays. The sites were very moving and he allowed us the time we needed to processes our emotions.
Our tour was led by Fabrice. We arrived a little early as suggested and he was waiting with the motor running. I would recommend checking the weather prior to going. We did check prior and were not caught without the proper attire. The trip as it mentions is literally on the cliffs in several places and this time of the year can be windy! We had no trouble and would recommend it if you are going to be in town even in the winter. There were only a few larger tours that all arrived after us as they were likely transferred from a Paris train to a large tour bus. This was a much more personal experience requiring no ear buds as we drove through the beautiful countryside and watched as the sun came up to start another day of adventure and awe! We stopped at a place for coffee and sat down never feeling rushed. We chatted about different topics and Fabrice answered all of our questions regarding what we were about to see and listened while we recapped our other Viator adventures. We arrived and were given a very interesting and dynamic interpretation of the events leading to the DDay landings. We toured two different landing zones and the amazing museum. We also spent a few solemn moments at the American Military Cemetary. Never feeling rushed and coming and going at the pace we created. We then had lunch at a great local restaurant with amazing food. I couldn’t recommend this trip any higher or we would give it 10 stars and 15 to Fabrice. All the best to you and yours.
This was a wonderful tour! Our guide Nikola was fantastic - pleasant, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He was also early at the meeting point so we did not have to wait in the cold and darkness. I learned so much about WWII, and especially France’s part in it, in one day. There were only 4 of us on the tour and, even though the ride was long, we enjoyed it by talking among ourselves and with Nikola. I highly recommend this day trip from Paris if you have any interest in this topic and location.
Visiting Normandy was so incredible. What was a major disappointment was the experience of our ride and driver. This tour was an all day tour. We were picked up very early in the morning in Paris and driven to Normandy. I believe 2 hours maybe 2.5 in travel to Normandy. Our guide offered no information on what we were visiting, basically he was just a driver. We were 6 in total in a very uncomfortable van. We made a quick stop to use the toilets prior to arriving to the cemetery. A stop for lunch was supposed to be included and the restaurant we did stop at was closed and the driver made no effort to find another place. By the grace, one of our friends made sandwiches , so that’s what we ate. In the trip back we hit an unusual amount of traffic and the driver dropped us off, not at our drop off point, but basically I. The side of the road and we walked backed to our respective hotels. The execution went wrong. Visiting Normandy and the beaches is priceless!
A long day, of course, and the trip includes few amenities. Our driver was excellent and quite knowledgeable. The area is quite rural and it's extremely confusing to get from site to site, so having an accomplished guide was absolutely necessary.
Helen was an exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide who escorted is through the museums, American cemetery, landing beaches, bunkers, etc. We believe we had a very comprehensive tour with the best tour guide and careful driver who both anticipated our needs and patiently helped us throughout the tour.
Great day in Normandy yesterday. Our guide Regis was wonderful very knowledgeable of the history. We had plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see in one day from Paris.
Very informative and emotional experience. Puts things into perspective as far as the layout of the area. Guide was very knowledgeable.
It was a wonderful tour. A long, but worthwhile, day. Our tour guide was very attentive and sensitive to our needs.
What a great trip and so moving as a US citizen. My dad fought in WWII - this meant a lot to me. Our guide was so knowledgeable and interesting. We had a great group of fellow US citizens with us too. Highly recommend.
It is truly an experience that anyone home comes to Paris should do. Our guide Fabrizzio who not only got us back and forth safely was also full of knowledge about the events at Normandy and D Day also was very friendly and caring to everyone needs definitely book this experience.
A 12 hour day from pick up to return drop off but well worth the effort. Nicoli (driver and guide) was fantastic. Great sense of humor and spoke with passion at every stop. We loved our day and learned so much.
It was a good experience with the guide. He was very nice. I enjoyed my conversations with him. I thought the tour could be improved. There was not much engagement at the cemetery or Omaha beach sites. I found myself listening in on other tours that were near me on the beach who were giving key information to their respective groups.
Knowledgeable guide. Fabulous experience. The museum is particularly impressive. The walk through Omaha Beach great
This was a very solemn and touching experience. Every American should make a visit and pay respects to those dear soldiers who paid the price for our freedom.
Great small group experience! David was so knowledgeable and made sure we saw as much as possible during this trip.
Our guide was disappointing. We would pass a chateau and he would say, “there’s a chateau”. He did his job, but that was about it. Very polite, very removed. He was basically just a driver to get us to Normandy
My husband wanted to take this tour to Normandy. The drive is long, but we stopped for a stretch and toilet break, which was definitely needed. Regis was an amazing tour guide, he is passionate about history and shared so much of his knowledge, research, and pictures too. He gave us the perfect amount of time to enjoy each stop, have lunch, and enjoy the countryside. It was a busy area, but we rarely felt crowded or unable to enjoy the historical places we visited.
Sebastien is a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. We had great conversations and laughs along the way.
The trip is well structured. The chauffeur is quite pleasant, amiable and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful day. Even if it did rain a couple times
This is a long day. Study up before you go on your own. The tour was a driver who knew some things about D Day versus a guide who also drives you there. A large chunk of time is spent reading placards about D Day. If you are looking for an in-depth educational experience, this is not the tour for you.
We went with a great tour guide who provided us with a great experience. We were a group of four and there were two other groups of two. So a total of 8. with the drive out from Paris, we had a chance to get better acquainted with our guide and the others in our group. It was very pleasant. D-Day Museum and Point du hoc are so worth it. The guide had some photos of the beach and some other info to share before we saw the sights. It is a great experience. The lunch venue was superb and served delicious food. I got to sample Normandy Cidre and Camembert cheese with a turkey pressed dish. It was very good. Great way to experience the Normandy battlefields on a timeline that might be short.
Fantastic experience and trip with entering German bunkers, lunch at great restaurant, and excellent guide by Sebastian. The visit to American Cemetary was solemn and special to pay our respects. I highly recommend this trip
Wonderful tour and not overwhelming amount of information. Our guide Frabrice was great! very reverent places to explore, great museum and beautiful country. good place for lunch too!
This is a fabulous trip through the history of the American experience on D-Day. I can’t give enough praise to our guide, Sebastian. His knowledge was incredible. He’s like a walking encyclopedia. He really made the trip! We’re very glad we did this tour, and it was especially nice with only 8 of us.
Nicolas was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, professional and personable. This tour is very well done.
Excellent trip. Excellent guide. All very interesting and informative. Highly recommend this day trip.
Our Normandy Tour with Fabrice was outstanding. I recommend this company and Fabrice to anyone who wishes to have a one-of-a-kind, unique experience touring the points of interest related to WWII in Normandy. Fabrice was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, with interesting input all along the way from Paris to Normandy and back. It was definitely a highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe. Transport van was also very nice & comfortable. Definitely would book a tour through Paris Tour again.
Ended up just being me and my husband. We enjoyed the day and the history there is pretty incredible. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got back to Paris around 4pm so still had the evening to enjoy .
We went in early February and it was amazing. Very quiet. No crowd. Our group seemed to be the only one there that day. Able to reflect on what all happened in this place. Highly recommend this tour. Oliver was our tour guide and was fabulous!
Seeing the DDay beaches in person was marvelous and is something that should not be missed. However, our tour guide did not give us much historical background or a detailed description of what happened on DDay. Our guide was very nice and answered questions, but I expected much more detailed description of the landing sites and what happened on that date.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the experience immensely. I I’m giving 4 stars because at times his speaking volume was hard to understand that day.
Pasquale was great, he was very knowledgable, informative and knew his WW2 information. He kept is simple and impactful for a personalized experience, would highly recconmend, we had a great time and our guide made the day easy from start to finish.
Our tour guide was knowledgable and a wonderful driver . I read other reviews that complained about the driving, our guide was a good safe driver! My husband is a history buff and had been looking forward to this tour! The experience was excellent! We had ample time at each stop and our guide provided good historical background! We would highly recommend this tour
The guide was not really a historian and more of a driver. Took us to the sites but his knowledge was minimal. I would recommend booking with an historian that does this for a living.
The tour was as expected but the tour guide should drive slower. He was driving like a mad man trying to get from one point to another without explaining much about each POI.
Raphael was a good guide as he knew his history and explained well in English calmly as we drove. Was a beautiful commemorative location for the thousands of soldiers we lost at Omaha Beach. Would have loved to spend more time downstairs in the Omaha museum and had time for the movie. Our guide did say save 45 minute but I wish he had specifically said go downstairs see the movie and the exhibit downstairs which I did not get to experience… and then go out to to graveyard and memorials outside. Also would have liked a more dramatic explanation of the climbing of the cliffs by our young solders as I was in tears while watching a documentary about this… where as I was not that moved by his brief explanation about what the soldiers went through. Also I was very nervous with his fast driving and weaving . He did slow down when I asked him to but I ended up sitting in back seat instead of front seat and then I was able to relax.
Having our pick up point totally screwed up leaving us alone in the dark at 6.30 in the morning. The "rest" stop: 20-30 mins to go to bathroom where lines stretched out the door (imagine being a woman!) and then waiting in another line to buy lousy food to eat. Other than that, cemetery was very moving.
Pointe de Hoc was very interesting; Omaha beach beautiful and the American cemetery very moving! A wonderful trip and our guide Regis very knowledgeable
