Itinerary
At Utah Beach, you'll step into a real German bunker that's now a world-class museum. This is where American boots first hit French sand on June 6, 1944. Inside, you'll find one of only six B-26 bombers left in existence and hear stories of the soldiers who changed history.
After a light lunch, it's time for the next activity—climbing to the top of 100-foot cliffs to spot historic impact craters and concrete bunkers still scarred by the conflict. Allied Rangers scaled these sheer rock faces under intense enemy fire to silence the German positions. Standing here, wind in your face, the bravery of those soldiers truly comes alive.
Below the bluff lies Omaha Beach, where waves now lap quietly at the sand that saw the fiercest fighting of D-Day. Above, white crosses stretch across a manicured lawn. You'll walk among the graves, read names, and look out over the beach where these soldiers gave everything.
Follow your guide to the Normandy American Cemetery, where white crosses stretch across a manicured lawn. You'll walk among the graves, read names, and look out over the beach where these soldiers gave everything.

Excellent experience and great guide!
Guide was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable. Answered questions and engaging. Great driver was very safe
If you booked a large group tour, be prepared to be rushed and be back on the bus on time. The entire trip from start to finish was about 14 hours so be prepared for that as well.
In order to get everything in it is a little rushed at each stop. The lunch was quite good. Keep an eye on the bus drivers. It is a long drive. One of the drivers was falling asleep. I had to notify the tour guide. The driver bla.ed it on the steering, but the 2nd driver didn't have a problem.
Guide was great. It crazy to imagine what went on there. Bus was comfortable and had plenty of space and could leave stuff on bus if need be... It's an all day trip but didn't seem overwhelming Transportation people made our trip a little different order and timing. Believe we may have changed drivers (2 went) bc of his driving... Would go down to 4.5 overall bc of this but not bc of guide or experience
Great tour. It's a very long day but our guide Raymond was exceptional; he covered an enormous amount of material and was knowledgeable, kind and patient. I would highly recommend taking this tour with Raymond.
Our tour guide Sharon was excellent. She provided great details on the history and connected some of the dots that made things more understandable. She provided insight on the important contribution that African Americans made that is often lefted out of historical accounts. Needless to say, that was refreshing. The lunch was great. The cemetery grounds is a breathtaking moment. The sacrifice that these young soliders made should never be forgotten. This was an overall great experience and I highly recommend it. Thanks for this unforgettable experience.
What an amazing day we learned so much information in one day our guide was very good .
We covered a lot of ground for the day and Sharon was informative, helpful and kept things running smoothly. It’s tough to get everything in but we were able to experience Utah, Omaha, Point du Hoc and the American cemetery. Great value for the price.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We couldn't have asked for a better tour.
Our tour guide Raymond was fabulous! He gave us a great deal of information but, in a very quick version! He was so respectful to n the way he presented the details leading up to and including the 2nd WW.
This was a really great tour of the Normandy beaches. Daniel was an excellent tour guide. He provided us with a general history, as well as some specifics details related to the American component of the D-Day mission. The bus was plush and the pickup/drop off location was very easy to get to from our accommodations in Paris. Our stop for lunch in Isigny was delightful. We had a delicious meal made from fresh, local ingredients.
Daniel was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and so clear with the information he passed along.
★★★★★ An unforgettable experience in Normandy — Daniel made my childhood dream come true! This was genuinely one of the highlights of my trip to France, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Daniel. Visiting the Normandy D-Day beaches had been a dream of mine since I was 11 years old. I have always been fascinated by history, particularly the events of World War II, and being able to finally stand on the very ground where so much history took place was an incredibly emotional and unforgettable experience. It was something I had imagined for years, and the fact that I finally got to experience it made the day even more special. We visited Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, and the museum, and Daniel made every single stop meaningful. His historical knowledge is absolutely remarkable, and his passion for what he does is immediately obvious. He doesn't simply recite dates and facts; he brings history to life. Through his storytelling, you begin to understand the people, the decisions, the sacrifices, and the extraordinary events that shaped the course of history. What makes Daniel truly exceptional, though, is his charisma. He is engaging, entertaining, approachable, and an absolutely fantastic storyteller. He knows exactly how to keep everyone interested throughout the day, balancing humour with the seriousness and emotion these historical sites deserve. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion makes all the difference. For someone like me, who had dreamed of visiting these beaches since childhood, having a guide who could share so much knowledge and bring the history to life made the experience even more powerful than I could have imagined. I didn't just visit these places; I came away with a much deeper appreciation for what happened there and for the people who made history. If you are considering a Normandy D-Day tour, do yourself a favour and ask for Daniel. I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, personality, passion, and ability to connect with people made a lifelong dream an experience I will never forget. Daniel, thank you for making something I had dreamed about since I was 11 years old so incredibly special. You are an absolute credit to your profession, and these five stars are more than deserved!
Awesome Experience…Highly recommended Daniel was amazing!!!
Daniel was a great tour guide. Only thing that I would improve is more time at Omaha beach.
Daniel was the best tour guide we've ever had! Inspiring and educational!
Daniel was an incredible guide. Knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire experience.
Great experience. Daniel was our guide, and he was phenomenal… very nice, knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommend.
Very informative, excellent english
Daniel did a fabulous job sharing his knowledge of Normandy and D Day
Tour guide Daniel, was a great guide he is very knowledgeable about the wars and the locations we stopped. Lunch was delicious. Only thing is I wish we got to spend a little more time in the museum but overall a great tour of the history.
The price was good for the distance travelled and the information we received., and the great experience we received .
Daniel was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and very communicative. Personal and had many extra stories.
Great experience with a very kind and knowledgeable guide! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a one-day trip!
Sunny was an amazing tour host. We loved our tour.
Sunny led the tour. It was a great experience. Thank you.
Very good tour. I would do it again. The guide was excellent. Thank you for a very good time. I will be back again someday.
The tour was great my only issue is tour guy had great information on bus off the bus was hurry up and come back in 20, 25 min or such. Meal was amazing but wish it was rushed and not the places I wanted to see and learn about! The meal was very slow and relaxed everywhere else very timed!
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Sunny was very informative and spoke very good English. He even helped us book another tour to Mont Sainte Michel🤗
We really enjoyed the day with The Tour Guy. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. I would highly recommend this tour.
First time coming here in France and I book this tour for intent purpose and was truly stunned about it.. It was a great experience, meet new people on the tour plus the guide and driver was truly proffesional.. truly amazing experience...thank you
We has a lovely day. Not generally a fan of group tours but this one was not too rushed and we got enough time at each place. Sharon was a great guide and we enjoyed learning from her. Lunch was hearty comfort food.
Great, well organised and well informed tour/guide
I enjoyed both the scenery and hearing about the history of those places. Our guide was excellent and had great insights thanks to which those places came alive. It was on my bucket list and I am glad I had the opportunity to visit those landmarks. I also appreciated the lunch included in the trip.
They visited the main sites. The lunch was amazing. Dessert was great. The bus was nice highly recommend.
Sharon did a wonderful job of giving us the full history of wars in Europe starting in the mid 1800's. It led in beautifully to what we would encounter on the Normandy beaches. She told us what was best to experience at each stop and repeated the meeting time and location. She was pleasant and well-informed. The lunch was a very nice addition.
Very enjoyable, informative and friendly
Very educational normandy tour from Paris. Sharon is a great and knowledgeable guide. Lunch was excellent!
Linda was very knowledgeable, very professional and the best understandable English speaker that I have ever seen in France.
I highly recommend this trip and it was worth every penny. Our guide, Linda, was full of excellent information and very informative about D-Day and the places that we were going to see. She was bubbly, always smiling and full of energy! It was surreal that we were actually on the beaches and battlegrounds of Normandie! We had an hour at the Normandie Museum, saw a lot but still could have spent more time, as there was a lot to see and read. We saw a lot and this tour offered an amazing feel for D- Day at Normandie. Our tour ended with the folding of the flag ceremony at the American Cemetery; which Linda tried very hard to keep us on a schedule, so that we were able to see that at 4:00pm. There are only so many hours and we saw a lot!
The stops were great but there were so many of them, we had hardly any time to enjoy them. The bus we had was very comfortable but they should have wifi.
This was our first time coming to France and we both knew we wanted to experience a Normandy/DDay tour. Raymond was a great guide with a lot of knowledge about each stop and fun facts throughout the towns. Only thing to disclose is the bus ride is about 3.5hrs each way with a rest stop in between. So you will be on the bus for about 8.5-9hrs total with the driving between each location. Lunch was very good but was essentially all seafood, so get ahead of that if needed. The stops were incredible and very sobering. It was amazing to see this part of history in person.
Daniel was our excellent guide for our trip to Normandy and the beaches. Daniel’s knowledge of history, especially military history, was impressive. Would highly recommend this moving and informative tour.
Had a wonderful tour with Daniel! A packed day but never overwhelming; everything was planned out very well. Daniel was charming, intelligent and warm. Highly recommend to visit such a moving place!
Daniel was incredible and very talented and knowledgeable.
Sharon was our guide and she was INCREDIBLE!! Her knowledge of WW2 and the way she explained world history was quite enjoyable, and her passion for the subject is certainly evident. She was generous with her timing and patient with each tourist in our group. She shared so many things about France and French culture that enriched the experience. I’d most definitely book again, especially if we could have her as our guide.
The lunch was awful.. Small local hotel-kitchen that didn't know how to cook. Do bring your own food and ask for a price reduction.
