Night At The Louvre: Guided Museum Tour | Max 6-guests

Juliette was very knowledgeable, sweet and amazing. She knew so much about the history and the purpose of the paintings and made them come to life.

We decided to book a Viator evening tour of the Louvre for 6 people during our recent visit to Paris. It is a 2 hour tour and allows you to see all of the highlights as well as focused visits to select other areas. Our guide, Nea, was fantastic. She showed us all of the highlights such as Venus and the Mona Lisa, but her knowledge of art and art history made the tour exceptionally good. She took us to locations and important pieces outside the normal tourist track and gave information on techniques, history, and meaning that we would never have learned otherwise. It’s expensive, but it was efficient, interesting, and entertaining and made the overwhelming Louvre much more approachable and meaningful, (plus you can stay to continue to wander and enjoy the museum on your own for a while afterwards). We cannot recommend this tour enough and if you go try very hard to get on one of Nea’s knowledgeable tours!

Nea was so knowledgeable and showed us many unique hidden gems in the museum. She was very kind, charismatic and funny as well. She really personalized the experience for my husband and I, as well as the other couple we were with. Nea made it feel like we were exploring the Louvre with an old friend. Absolutely wonderful time!

Skipping the queues was a great bonus, and visiting when the museum was less crowded made the experience even better. Highly recommend this tour, particularly with Sofia as your guide!

We had an outstanding tour of the Louvre with out guide Sofia on a Friday tour. We've been before so this was a revisit of "the highlights of the highlights" as Sofia described it. She was an absolutely fantastic guide -- very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, pointing out things we might otherwise miss, and getting us to the best vantage spots for seeing the artwork. She was the best guide we have had in Paris, hands down! Thank you for an excellent experience!

Very knowledgeable tour guide and very enthusiastic

My wife and I toured the Louvre with a small group, guided by Sophie, an art historian. She was exceptional—her explanations were clear, engaging, and enriched with sharp, well‑timed humor. She illuminated the distinctions between artistic and sculptural styles across historical periods with a confidence that made the experience both educational and genuinely enjoyable. Sophie was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and funny—an outstanding guide in every respect

This is a scam!! My wife booked us to tour the louvre with this guide. We paid in advance. We arrived extra early before 5 for a 5:30 tour. No tour guide showed up, 5 of the max 6 were waiting at the designated spot. We waited until 6:30 hoping that the guide was late, but the guide was a no show. We tried calling the walks numbers, both the US and European number, we got a message and put on hold for 20 minutes until the call was disconnected twice. There was no communication and they were unreachable. When we got back to our hotel my wife recived an email claiming that the tour was changed from 5:30 to 5:00. She had checked her email and had not received the change in time until after 5:00. We were waiting at the designated spot at 4:45 and there was no tour guide for walks tours. We met 3 other of the people who booked this tour also waiting, for a total of five of a max of six. So this tour company has taken $350 CAD from us as well as the other people believing they are going to have a tour only to be stood up. Michael

Sabine was wonderful and amazing. Fabulous tour of the Louvre. Sabine was friendly, full of information, shared insights and funny anecdotes. I thought the evening “after hours” tour would be a little less crowded than the tour we had taken in the daytime. This was not the case. It was still very crowded with many people. Regardless, we enjoyed it!

Excellent tour guide, Xauo, who had enthusiasm and knowledge and great energy. The Louvre is a lot and doing it all in one trip is not possible, this was an excellent way to start the exploration while getting some major highlights, incudling the ever popular Mona Lisa.

The small group was very nice and our guide, Xiao, was knowledgeable and had positive energy. She engaged with all of us in the group, and kept the energy up which was appreciated in a hot crowded Louvre gallery! Thank you.

Juliette was extremely knowledgeable but not in a way you couldn’t understand. You could that she really understood the art and intricacies of the paintings. She had a wonderful demeanor and even offered extra time to our group.

Nea was the perfect tour guide!

I was somewhat disappointed with the tour guide. The audio device provided to help visitors hear the guide more clearly was not working, which made it difficult to move around and appreciate the paintings while listening to the explanations. In addition, the guide focused mainly on anecdotes and historical details about how the paintings and statues arrived at the museum, offering little artistic insight into the techniques, styles, or creative aspects of the works themselves. In hindsight, it would have been better to purchase a ticket with the audio guide instead.

Meeting the guide, entering the museum, the audio experience and the personalized entertaining stories told throughout the evening made it a five star review.

The six person evening tour at the Louvre was a great way to get a taste of what there is to see at the Louvre. The Louvre is massive in size and the collection is huge. Having a tour guide show you the highlights (like the Mona Lisa) but then also share other pieces of art with you was great. Our guide, Nea, is clearly someone who loves art and the Louvre collection. She shared this love with us and explained paintings that I would normally have just walked past. (I now have a much better understanding and appreciation of some of the religious art at the Louvre.) I enjoyed my evening and really appreciated Nea’s enthusiasm and knowledge.

I really like how the guide explained different aspects of the paintings she has shown us. I also appreciate her “acting flair” as it was more entertaining and kept me interested in her variation narrative. She was very knowledgeable and knew her art.

Our tour guide from Voyage locally seemed pretty good, but she did not have the required entrance tickets, so our Louvre Small Group Night Tour planned for my birthday in Paris was cancelled. Viator needs to find another tour company!

Nea did an great of job of hitting the highlights of the Louvre. My wife usually doesn't like museums, but Nea was so interesting and her energy was so infectious, that my wife really enjoyed it. Next time, we need to book Nea for like a 4-5 hour tour. That would be excellent.
