Nature Electric Bike Ride From Paris To Versailles

Pretty easy ride. Surprising amount of park/ forest riding, with a bit of urban experience at the beginning

We had a really great time on our bike tour. Start of the ride was through the city though not bad. After that most of the route was on a trail so very easy and plenty of breaks along the way.

It was a great way to experience some of the parks in the greater Paris area. The bikes were great. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants something different

This was AMAZING! We loved every second of it. The ride was gorgeous and took us through areas that we would have never seen on our own. It was the perfect day -- we wish we had gone on the full day to ride through Marie Antoinette's gardens, too. Spectacular!

OVERVIEW: This is a must-do activity when visiting Paris! Since you're on e-bikes, you can cover SO much ground and see different slices of Versailles, including the surrounding city, the Hamlet of Marie Antoinette and the main Palace of Versailles. We met our guide, Renault at our meeting point and we instantly felt welcomed. He lead us to where the bikes are stored and fitted everyone, adjusting heights and helmets accordingly. We set off on our bike tour, meandering through Paris suburbs and even there saw some interesting bridges, houseboats, and vegetation. Then we set off into a large park, which had forests, fountains and other monuments to admire along the way to the City of Versailles. Once there, we parked our bikes and walked to the market and picked up stuff for a picnic. (TIP: don't get wine - it sounds fun but you risk getting sleepy the rest of the tour). We biked over to the grounds of Versailles and found a quiet spot by the lake. So picturesque! It was nice to cool down and refill for the rest of the day. From there, we explored the Hamlet of Marie Antionette (very charming) and then headed over the main area of Versailles. This is where we split from our guide and the group and explored Versailles on our own. HIGHLIGHT: Renault was fantastic – he seemed truly passionate about sharing stories about Paris, Versailles, and life with us. DRAWBACK: You'll be on your bike a lot and most the day - make sure you have comfortable clothing, proper footwear, and layers in case the weather changes. TIPS: - Your meeting point is a cafe, so get there early and get coffee and a bite, you'll need the energy. - Bring a reusable water bottle (already filled). For us it was a very hot day and there are several fountains on the grounds of Versailles to refill. - If in summer, wear and bring extra sunscreen!

Lovely 20k ride from Paris to Versailles. The route has a few small inclines but the e bike made it quite an easy excursion. It was truly delightful from start to finish! Adrian, our tour guide, was pleasant, and kept us well informed along the way with historical details as well as what to expect regarding the terrain. I would HIGHLY recommend this as a ‘must do’ in Paris! Thank you, Adrain, for a wonderful experience and a job well done!

A MUST DO WHILE VISITING PARIS! this Nature electric bike ride is FABULOUS and SPECIAL It's my second bike ride with Renault, and it won't be my last! It is a unique and memorable way to get to Versailles that I know from experience, will become the highlight of ypur trip. This was one of our favorite tours we have done and we go to Europe every year. Thé electric bikes made it easier without feeling like you weren’t cycling and it is a great way to see parts of Paris we had never seen. The parks were stunning and we loved riding through the forest!! I highly recommend if you like seeing places by bike like we do. My 11 year old also is an avid biker and felt the same.

We called to see about booking a tour at the last minute, and Renaud sacrificed his day off to take us to Versailles along a great route, seeing lovely sites and views along the way. The bikes were good and well maintained. Highly recommend this bike tour!

Really nice trip which I can highly recommend. In safe hands we went through peaceful paths- never in some stressful traffic. Good we to see another side of Paris and neighborhood not crowded with other tourists! ( until we arrived ein Versailles).

What a great way to get to Versailles. Our family of 4 with a 11 year old and 13 year old boys did great. We felt safe in the bike lanes and parks around Paris on our way to Versailles. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to get off the beaten path as a way to get to a highly anticipated tourist attraction.

It was canceled, the guide hurt his back. We spent $60 for a taxi to get to the pick up area and it was canceled

This was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend you do this! The group was a mix of adults and children. My parents are senior and didn’t feel comfortable biking so they met us in Versailles by Uber. The e-bike was easy to operate and the pace was fine for everyone to stay together. Beautiful sites along the way.

My husband booked this bicycle trip to go to Versailles in a more memorable fashion. We have travelled many places and have had many wonderful experiences. This tour with Renault is at the top of our list of favorites! The route was incredibly scenic, informative and fun. We could never have seen an “inside look” like this in any other way! We biked from city to parks to quant villages to the palace. It was magnificent ! Thank you Renault for the best morning ever! PS for those who are weary of bicycling this distance, don’t be. This companies electric bikes are top quality making your leg work effortless and they are easy to operate. I also appreciated the very nice quality the helmet. Thank you again!

Fantastic trip to versailles! This was a well organised bike trip, the e-bikes were so smooth and easy to use. Renault was our guide and knew the bike ways to Versailles so well, he could wend and weave our route through the forest avoiding other runners and cyclists. The route started in Paris and traced the river before going to saint-cloud, a pretty village and a forest. It was a shame when our bucolic ride through breathtaking nature and forgotten histories ended. Versailles itself was a zoo and although we enjoyed the market the palace itself was not as relaxed as our bike through saint-cloud and learning of the histories between the palaces and hunting grounds. It had taken us some time to find this tour, our third search for e-bike trips to Versailles and we were so glad we did, it was more than what we could have hoped for! A leisurely ride through beautiful autumnal parks and forest. Renault was a patient and calm guide and we were all very well looked after. Although we only did the bike trip (we organised our own entrance to Versailles) Renault’s care and attentiveness extended beyond his bike ride, he gave us all a card and told us not to hesitate if we had any questions about trains or had any issues whilst we were in Versailles or finding our way back to Paris. He even showed us where the market was to buy a picnic. A perfect day. Book this trip!

This was the highlight of our trip! Renaud was extremely helpful and attentive to each rider and the experience exceeded our expectations. Beautiful scenery and ultimate farmer's market in Versailles. We will do this again next time we are in Paris.!!!

We had a great time on this tour. A fabulous mix of city and then going into the country and forest on the way to Versailles was spectacular.

This is a great way to get to Versailles. The ride is very flat and on pathways out of Paris. The gentle hills through the small towns, forests and parks to Versailles are very easy on the e-bike. I chose the half day tour to maximize my time walking the gardens of Versailles. Our guide Renault was very knowledgeable and the tour pace was just right.

this was a great tour, we did not have the best day due to heavy rain, but even with this this tour was amazing, i cant imagine having a sunny or just cloudy day it would have been one of the best days of my trips, tour provider gave us some high tech ponchos so we did not get really that wet and the views are incredible i recomend to book this tour to have a different perspective of paris is so much fun

Fantastic! Our family of four took the bike tour to Versailles along with a mother and adult daughter. Our tour guide was warm and friendly, and all the e-bikes were in excellent condition. Most importantly, the ride was incredible taking our group through parks, tree-canopied trails, and forested areas with both paved and natural paths that were all breathtaking and “doable.” We then toured parts of Versaille by e-bike and provided directions and recommendations for lunch. The mother and daughter continued on with the full day tour that included a visit to Marie Antoinette’s home away from home … an estate with an area that can be described as a magical, fairytale land where one might expect to see the Seven Dwarfs at work. I would repeat this tour again and again for the sense of adventure and awe it provided. 100 out of 100.

Amazing day…Definitely a memorable & fun experience! This e-bike tour was filled with great information in a relaxed environment. Beautiful views, interesting locations to ride to, fun time at quant market/village to get your picnic lunch & beautiful spot to eat your picnic lunch. Such a unique tour experience with a kind, knowledgeable and reliable tour guide. I would definitely recommend for all ages and to those looking for a fun and unique experience.

Renaud and his daughter Nora we're wonderful. This was by far our favorite day in Paris.We booked this specifically for the bike ride thru the parks and the woods on the way to Versailles. I highly recommend this tour.We would do it again the next time we're in Paris for the bike ride alone.

I LOVED the half day adventure from Paris to Versailles via ebike. We had a perfect morning, the pace was very comfortable, guide and group easy to follow and I really felt comfortable on the roads, park, and trails we took. A nice mix of city, green space, open space, and parks. Felt no rush, enjoyed the fresh air and the forest! I was really glad I had an e-bike as we covered quite some distance, I wasn't tired when we arrived in Versailles but was definitely ready for lunch. Thanks for the adventure!

An exceptionally beautiful tour winding through forests, along the Seine, to quaint towns and back through history. We visited the remains of The Chateau de St Cloud, built for Philippe des Orleans, the only cousin to Louis XIV. Our guide Renaud brought history to life and painted a picture of how the massive fountains will look when refurbished! We arrived in lovely commune of Versailles to wander through shops, the market and find the best crêpe suzette of our lives! Afterwards we visited the palace and fairytale gardens. An incredible day I would love to do again and again!

The e-bike tour was absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed the beautiful landscapes along the way – it was a perfect mix of nature and adventure. Our guide, Reno, was amazing – knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

It was great but I want to point out a downside. Registered for a tour in French, I learn on the spot that it is being conducted in English. The limited number of registrants probably led the organizers to mix the two groups (3 English speakers and 2 French speakers). Fortunately, the guide (Momo) was bilingual and agreed to play along. He saved the day!

It is an unforgettable and very pleasant experience. The temperature was ideal for this type of excursion. Our guide Adrian was very affable. To be done again
