Amazing tour of Musee D’Orsay with Eduardo. We learnt so much about the artworks from him in the 2.5 hour tour and then explored the museum further on our own. He gave us detailed information on the lives of the artists and their works.

Our tour guide, Miriam, was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Even while waiting in line to get in she started to tell us about the museum and its history. The ear piece we were given made it really easy to listen to her even if there were crowds. One of the best museum guided tours we have done. Highly recommend

Dina was a fantastic guide! She expertly explained art including the history, context, and influences. She navigated us through the museum to maximize our time and see major works. It never felt rushed but we saw a lot of art. We appreciated the radio headphones so we could hear her clearly despite the noisy, crowded museum. Highly recommend her!!!

Our tour guide, Ivana P., was fabulous! Her knowledge of the history of the museum and about the artists in the permanent collection was impressive. We’ve been to the D’Orsay before but it had been quite a few years ago. Visiting it again with a tour guide really made this our best visit by far! We would highly recommend Ivana for this tour or any other that she offers in Paris.

We had a very good experience with Emmanuel today on our tour at the Orsay Museum. Emmanuel was helpful, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the art we viewed. He led us on a tour that helped us understand better the development of Impressionism concluding with our viewing with Emmanuel commentary on the masters of Impressionism. He did a great job even for those who have not been exposed to a lot of art history.

We have visited Musee d’Orsay before but this is the first time we’ve gone there with a guide and it was well worth the price. Sunday is one of the best guides I’ve ever encountered. She is highly knowledgeable and shared a trove of fascinating information about the museum’s history, Impressionist art and artists as well as specific pieces in the museum’s collection. She is an entertaining, engaging speaker and has a great sense of humour. She is also very familiar with the museum’s layout and adroitly guided us through the crowds towards key paintings. We would highly recommend this tour and would join another one led by Sunday in a heartbeat (she mentioned that she does tours of other museums such as the Louvre).

Margaux was a fabulous guide. She was extremely engaging and knowledgeable about the art in the museum starting with the style of pre-Impressionist art and the environment that existed before the Impressionist breakthrough. She made the aritists come to life for us with stories of each. After visiting the Musee d’Orsay multiple times in the past, I would highly recommend having a guide to make a more interesting visit.

Guide Sara was exceptional: from the meeting que and through out the 2 1/2+ hour tour she was very knowledgeable and conveyed much more information than expected. I learned more than I saw (due to heavy crowds). She was keenly aware of my walking issue and too steps to see I could get a seat wherever we could. Could not have done it otherwise. Bravo to Sara

Ivana was excellent. She was organized, calm, knowledgeable and prepared. Not only did she talk about the art we saw, but she gave background on the history of art and what led up to the works we saw. We learned a lot - all while she offered to take photos for us, read excerpts from letters written by Van Gough and showed us visual aids from her iPad. We’ve been to a number of museums in our travels, and Ivana was at the top of the guide list.

Pierre was fabulous. His energy and information made for a delightful couple hours learning about the Musee D’Orsay and the works of art inside. Pierre curated a thoughtful journey through the art including interesting anecdotes about the artists. We highly recommend Pierre and this tour!

I traveled to Paris with my 2 teen girls. I lived and studied in Paris over 25 years ago and had visited Musée d’Orsay then but it was the first time for my girls, so it was great to be reminded of the significance of this museum. Paloma led one of the best museum tours I’ve been on and I’ve been on many. She offered a historical grounding of the time period for the pieces in the museum, and was enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable. She shared both art history, political history, color theory as well as quirks about the art world of the Paris Salon. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful tour of the Musée d’Orsay with Andreas. I visited with my 14-year-old son, and Andreas made the experience engaging and enjoyable for both of us. My son, who also found the tour genuinely interesting, was engaged throughout—a real testament to Andreas’s ability to bring the art and history to life. Andreas was polite, considerate, punctual, and highly professional. His knowledge of the museum, the artists, and the historical context was exceptional. He gave a fascinating explanation of the transition from Neoclassical art to Impressionism, helping us understand not only how the styles evolved but also how Impressionist artists challenged the artistic conventions of the time and how their work was initially received by society. His storytelling made the paintings come alive and gave us a much deeper appreciation of what we were seeing. Thanks to Andreas, our visit to the Musée d’Orsay was one of the highlights of our trip.
