The ticket was not valid for the time a lot that was advertised. Good luck trying to text or call tour operator as they didn’t respond via text and hung up on me twice. Wasted time and also wasted money as could not use the tickets to get into the museum.

Incredible museum. Unable to access the audio tour after trying to remedy this problem Beforehand. Waiting for customer service for a refund for the audio portion. Very disappointing 1st experience with provider.
Building had interesting layout & staff were pleasant. Outstanding collection but highlight for my wife was stunning Manet “Water Lillies” show.
Booking with Audio we did not know we had to use our phones vs a voucher for a museum supplied unit. Otherwise process went well and buying an anytime access was so convenient.
Booked through the museum website. We bought tickets for a day that it turned out that the museum was closed There was no indication of this on the website. We are pursuing a refund .
The art galleries were great but there was absolutely no benefit in buying the combined tickets for Musée De L'Orangerie and Musée D'Orsay. It cost me more and I still had to queue up for a long time with people who didn't have tickets. Additionally, the audio guide link included was minimal and it was not easy to find the few corresponding pieces of art in the museums. Would have been better to book directly and used the museums audio guide.
A fantastic and completely hassle-free experience! We booked our Orangerie Museum tickets through TripAdvisor the very last minute and were pleasantly surprised to receive them within just 5–10 minutes. The team was incredibly helpful and even assisted us with the required time reservation, which gave us priority access and made entering the museum quick and seamless. The ticket also included an audio guide, which made the visit enjoyable and helped us appreciate the beautiful artworks and history behind them. The museum itself is a true gem and an absolute must-visit in Paris. Everything—from booking to entry to exploring the galleries—was smooth and well organized. Highly recommend Viator for a stress-free booking experience and the Orangerie Museum for an unforgettable cultural visit!
Had a great experience visiting the Orangerie Museum. I booked our tickets through Tripadvisor at the last minute and received them within about 10 minutes. The team was very helpful and assisted with the required time-slot reservation, which made entry quick and hassle-free. The museum was beautiful, and everything was well organized from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend both the museum and Viator for anyone planning a trip to Paris.
It did not help us to have purchased advanced tickets with out a time slot. We were stuck in the line for people without advance tickets. The wait was over 2 hours. We never got into the museum. Do not recommend purchasing in advance as there was not a benefit.
Totally misleading. Paid $57 to stand in line with everyone else. This company sends a voucher and calls it a ticket. You stand in line for two hours with your voucher to redeem your ticket which you could have gotten directly from the museum
The ticketing process is difficult. I enjoyed the museum but the Viator process is poor at best. Do better
I didn't realise that I needed a time slot. I had a ticket but the queue for non-time slot visitors was long and static. I don't mind queues if they are moving but it did't. It was very warm that day and opted not to wait as I am not good standing for a long time.
Total scam. The tour seller sells you general tickets that have no specific time or even date. This is despite specifically booking for a particular date on the viator app. The tickets are no better than walking up and getting ‘as available’ tickets directly from the museum. The tour operator, however, charges more than twice the museum’s charge. Even worse, there is no guarantee of entry on a particular day. I enquired with the tour operator via the viator app about reserving a particular time and day. After saying this was possible, when I asked for a particular date and time they went silent. 👎
DON'T BUY the dual D'orsay and L'orangerie ticket. The line up for tickets without entry times is the same line as people without tickets so its completely useless. You may as well not have a ticket. I ended up not using my ticket because the line was so long.
For the unscheduled ENTRY ticket, asking what time I want the ticket in the ordering process is not germane. It took reading the fine print on the actual pdf ticket to realize that it was not a scheduled entry, and if you want you can try to schedule an entry, which, by the time you get the ticket is of course sold out. Definitely book your ticket on the museum website- with a scheduled entry- because when it’s busy, the management of the entry queues is a fiasco IMO, the is no value add from viatour with the unscheduled entry ticket.
This ticket is only to access the museum, not a timed entry. After standing in line in the baking sun to enter for nearly an hour without the line moving, we gave up. Wasted money unless you’re very patient and the weather is cool and cloudy.
Lines are long, so get there early in the morning. Or better yet, buy a time slot. But the museum is soooo worth it.
The ticket still required over 1 hour in line even during shoulder season - not for elderly - after rain and cold we left w/o getting even close
Be prepared to wait in line even with a timed entry ticket. The exhibits were well done and included many famous artists.
Claude monest water lilly best art was way beyond my imagination, And other masterpieces that are preserved, by chance I went to the museum as it was not in the list to cover in Paris, But now after exploring it's a must visit museum if you are fond of art and monets Thanks to tripadvisor as I got the last min option to access the museum tickets.🙌
They sent me a ticket pdf (a literal google drive link) which at the gate they said had already been scanned a week before.
The museum itself was wonderful. There is so much art packed into the space and the Monets or just amazing. However, I would not book this through Viator. When we got to the museum, our tickets did not have the price listed suggesting that this was a scam. It was supposed to be a designated time ticket. The museum worked with us, but I would not utilize this company again.
There were a lot of people but was a wonderful experience. The water lilies were so impactful and it was a privilege to see them
Museum would not accept tickets, none of the multiple formats that visitor sent. They claim I needed an email from the Museum. Disappointed family
This provider was really amazing. We managed to secure a time entry ticket to Musee de l'Orangerie even though we book it last minute. The confirmation was instant, and the voucher was immediately sent to us via whatsapp
Fraudulent tickets DO NOT PURCHASE. The tour operator sent me two pdfs. The girl at the ticket counter questioned me embarassingly about where i got the tickets. The timed pdf did not scan and the untimed tickets gave an error message when she tried to scan and we were turned away. The operator issued us new tickets a half hour later after we had already left the venue and would not issue a refund. I will be disputing the purchase with my credit card company.
The museum was everything I had expected. Seeing Monets Water Liliies was exceptional. Getting into the museum was challenging with the “so called Viator ticket”. Was a nightmare. I had to go back through emails to actually find what was the ticket. The museum was wonderful, purchasing through Viator, not so much
I purchased tickets well in advance of my trip but had to wait until the day before to get my tickets. When they were finally sent, the link to receive them was not blue, so I couldn’t click on it. I called and was told that I needed to attach it to another web browser, etc. I had no idea how to do this. When I asked a few people who were more tech savvy to help, they were unable to do it as well. As a result, my friend and I were unable to go to the museum.
Easy booking through Viator. The day prior to our booking, I received an email and a message via WhatsApp containing our confirmation of timed entry and our actual tickets (2 PDFs). We showed up at the museum and entry was very easy. I simply showed the ticket PDF and we were able to enter. We were even about 20 minutes behind in our timing, but this was a non issue. Just a note that the gift shop closes at 5:45 PM, not 6 PM like the rest of the museum. When the 15 minutes to closing announcement came on, we shifted our toward visiting the gift shop before leaving. Luckily my mom got in moments before they stopped letting people in. I was stopped at the entrance and told they were closed, despite her getting in right before me… myself and many other guests were turned away. I thought this was odd, but we luckily still got what we wanted as my mom made it in. Just something to note if you plan to visit close to closing. Otherwise, great experience!
The audio guide provided is not the official audio guide and not indexed in a useful way. It was very difficult to associate a specific place in the museum with the appropriate segment of the audio guide. The audio guide was therefore virtually worthless, except for the introduction.
Surprising special exhibition of female gallerist turn of the 20 th century collection of impressionists including Leger Picasso
While the museum is interesting, would not buy this ticket again. It said I was buying a "timed" ticket, which is why I bought it. However when I opened it, it was an "anytime" ticket. Not a big deal for most people and could be a bonus for some, but at this museum, the timed tickets were getting in much faster. We ended up having to wait in line for almost 1.5 hours just to get in. Keep in mind that musee de orangerie is also small, so we only were in the museum itself for about that same amount of time! Try to buy directly from museum if you can!
Loved the entrance ease and the exhibitions. Amazing water lilies!! Cute gift shop and and cafe! Pre-purchase tickets are the most efficient way to get in the museum !
Self guided was perfect! We had time to reflect and really move through the exhibits at our pace! Just loved this museum most of all!
The way these artists express themselves is mesmerizing. I could look at these paintings for hours on end. Definitely worth it!
Lovely, small art gallery with the stunning water lillies. However, do NOT book with Viator. They use a third party who send you a link to an out of date map and audio guide that is only correct for the Monet part. The rest changes and their guide does not. I complained and the third party denied any fault and Viator finished there. No responsibility taken. End of story. We paid for a timed entrance, which we got, but the audio guide is NOT the museum guide, it is some bored monotone woman reading a write up which is now 50% out of date. Just get the entrance and get the official museum guide. Waste of money otherwise. Oh, and the Viator "support" on WhatsApp drops you if you don't respond within 3 minutes and you have to start all over again. Then they say the third party has refused any sort of compensation for the faulty product and that is it. I've used Viator 5 times and it has been fine, but their support is awful when there is something wrong
Avoid. We were stopped at the entrance because the tickets we received were incorrect and confusing. Very stressful.
Don’t miss it. Be sure to make a reservation or you may not get in. We went to Giverny first and saw the Lily Pond where he painted and then to L’Orangerie to see what he painted. Wonderful!
Viator can get entry tickets when the museum is sold out. Answered my many questions immediately. They can be depended on.
Easy process that works where you skip the long line. It’s worth the $ to save a hour of your time! Beautiful museum that features a large room dedicated to Monet.
Timed entrance. All went smoothly. The place to see Monet’s phenomenal murals but much more as well.
I can’t thank Viator enough for all they did to correct an error in this booking that was not their error. It was handled professionally and efficiently. I have always placed my trust in Viator for all of our side travel and I have never been disappointed. With their rapid action, my husband and I were able to complete this wonderful visit to the Musee l’Orangerie in Paris and see Monet’s breathtaking Water Lilies. When you travel with Viator you can travel with confidence!
Don’t expect a lot of Monet except for the water lily dioramas. A lot of modern art. One floor closed for renovation.
We paid double the price that we would have paid booking directly through the Musee de l’Orangerie website, which was unfortunate. However, the website tickets were sold out for days, so it was our only option. When we did go to get in the queue there was a line for reserved times and no reservations, so we probably would have been ok without even purchasing tickets ahead of time. Both lines were very short. We were there the end of July during the Tour de France so it was a very busy time. The museum is amazing! I have been there twice and would highly recommend! The tickets that we purchased did come the a downloadable audio tour which was nice, but a little long.
It is a scam. I payed for two tickets and they gave me two free tickets. But in order to be able to use them I needed to be under 18 or a student. And I was neither so I needed to buy my ticket again.
A nightmare using Viator. I bought a timed entry ticket to L’Orangerie gallery in Paris and paid >double the cost of entry to avoid the long queue. When I showed the ticket at the Musée they said it was a scam; Viator had issued me with a “free” ticket so Viator gets all the money. The Musée information team said I had to reclaim the cost and buy another ticket, wasting a lot of time. After trying to contact Viator they were obliged to re-issue the ticket. Caused a lot of unnecessary stress. As an art lover I would not recommend L’Orangerie as most of the tourists don’t look at the masterpieces, they just want photos in front of them. Such a shame. And they let too many people in at a time.
TripAdvisor sends many unnecessary emails that are confusing. Sender e.g. mail 2 times with something that can be perceived as the ticket that should be used without being it. Prefer GetYourTour.
A spectacular experience for those who like the paintings of Monet! It was too worth it! Each salon, a “wow!”
Despite timeslot , another 20 minutes queue. The exhibition was partially closed (floor -1) and also the shop and cafeteria due to renovation. The audio guide was only available with a separate voucher that was only available on my phone after I was already there. Why not have a single voucher with two QR codes? For the lilies of Monet, I expected more of it.
I made arrangements with audio, but they said it was a ticket that didn't come with audio. I couldn't use it. I am very sorry.
