The museum is beautiful, the art is amazing. We had a wonderful time
The purchase of tickets was easy, however received confusing messages after the purchase. Confirmation email said I would receive tickets within 24 hours. Received an email in that timeframe saying click here for tickets. Did so and was taken to same confirm page saying this is not your ticket - you'll receive in 24 hours. Finally received a text the day before visit to D'ORSAY. So would suggest you make that process clearer.
Getting tickets after purchase required multiple phone calls. Once tickets were received all went smoothly.
The museum is vast with an outstanding collection of Impressionists. They are well organized with many plaques offering insights. The collection of Paris artifacts are displayed creatively and is impressive. The cafe is beautiful- the food and service is exceptional.
Absolutely loved this museum!! Would rate it better than the Louvre. Do not miss this opportunity if you have it!
The tickets come pretty close to when you go to the museum so I had to get help pulling them up. Museum was excellent and the price was very fair. Highly recommend going to this museum. No guide just admission which I prefer.
We had the open ticket, so not a timed entry. The museum is beautiful, the works displayed are iconic. It was very crowded for the off season. There were many, what I can only imagine are "influencers", posing for photos with the works of art behind them. It holds up flow, and is generally disrespectful. Even with that, the Musee de Orsay is worth the visit.
Great museum, it’s a must that you get there early, the ticket was not special, seems that it’s just advance purchase,,it is not a skip the line. However, the museum was well worth the price. Very beautiful place.
We had a really enjoyable visit to Musée d’Orsay. The building itself is beautiful and the collection is impressive, especially the Impressionist paintings. Entry was straightforward with our tickets and we spent around two hours inside. Definitely worth visiting while in Paris.
The Museum is very nice, with an excellent layout that allows for very good flow of people and good views. Just as many paintings as you can absorb, including excellent ones from Monet and Van Gogh. The view through the glass clock is amazing. We got the more expensive tickets to avoid lines, but there were no visible queues. Free lockers were very convenient. No big crowds to ruin the experience. Very nice gift shop and an excellent cafeteria on the 5th floor. We stayed for 2 hours. Staff very everywhere to assist and guide you.
We weren't sure how much time we would need here but ended up staying much longer than planned. There are some incredible paintings and sculptures, and the museum building is beautiful too. I would recommend allowing at least a couple of hours so you don't have to rush.
Booking was simple and the tickets worked without any issue. Musée d’Orsay was one of the highlights of our sightseeing in Paris. There is a lot to see but the museum is manageable and easy to explore. Would happily recommend the visit.
If you enjoy art, this museum should definitely be on your Paris list. Seeing works by Monet, Van Gogh and other famous artists in person was amazing. We also loved the atmosphere of the former train station. Really memorable visit and well worth it.
A very good experience from start to finish. We had our tickets ready on the phone and entry was simple. Musée d’Orsay is a beautiful place even before you start looking at the artwork because the old railway station architecture is stunning. We particularly enjoyed the Impressionist galleries. If you enjoy art and have a few days in Paris, I would definitely include this museum.
Visited during our Paris trip and really loved this museum. There were quite a few people, but once we started exploring it didn’t feel too difficult to get around. Seeing works by Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh was amazing. We also stopped near the famous clock for photos. Allow at least 2–3 hours because there is much more inside than we expected.
I actually enjoyed Musée d’Orsay more than I expected. The building itself is impressive, especially the huge clock, and there is so much to see without feeling as overwhelming as some of the bigger museums in Paris. Our admission went smoothly and we were inside without any problem. The Impressionist collection was fantastic. Would happily visit again.
I didn’t ever receive a ticket as I’m in a wheelchair I got in free . Please refund money as I didn’t get tickets
Great art and laid out for nicely in small rooms. Great carved statues in marble & brass -all within a historic building. Except for the 5th floor Impressionists floor -not crowded.
What a beautiful museum! We are so happy that we did not have to miss this beautiful site as there were no more remaining time slots on the museum’s main website to reserve during our visit. Thankfully, we found your site and were able to get non-time slot tickets. We arrived at the museum around 10:30 in the morning on a Friday in late September and encountered no lines. The entry areas are clearly marked and we were able to find the queue for ticket holders without a time slot. When the tickets arrived via email, I took screenshots of them so they were easily found when it was time to enter the museum. We did not know before we went that The museum D’Orsay is housed in an old classic Gare (train station) that has been converted into this beautiful museum retaining many of the classic features from the original station in such a lovely and artistic way. We were so happy to find so many of our favorite classic paintings featured in this museum from the impressionist artists that we know and love, and also so happy to see many many more that we had not yet known of and their beautiful works. It is definitely beneficial to have the audio guide in hand as you look at many of the classics to hear their descriptions and learn more about the artists who created them. A worthwhile way to spend a half day in Paris!
Great museum that has a superb collection of Impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. Also has a fine sculpture collection. The building alone is worth a visit. It’s a lot smaller than the Louvre so more easily managed. It can get crowded so try to avoid busy times.
Depending on your interests this is a wonderful experience. I was more interested in the building's architecture and my friend more interested in the museum. I would recommend getting the audio guide.
We spent a couple of hours at Orsay and really liked it. The collection is beautiful, especially the Van Gogh and Monet paintings. A nice experience and definitely worth adding to a Paris trip.
I was looking for Orsay tickets at the last minute and most of the options I found were already unavailable. I managed to get this ticket and it was open, so I could visit at a time that suited me. This was really convenient because I didn’t have to rush for a particular time slot. The museum itself was beautiful and we had a really nice visit.
Such a beautiful museum and much easier to explore than I expected. The Impressionist paintings were my favourite, and the old railway station building is amazing too. We took our time and really enjoyed it!
Go to the museum as early as possible. It was very crowded at 10:30 am It is lovely, especially the 5th floor with the impressionists
Entry was straightforward and we were inside without any trouble. Really enjoyed walking through the Impressionist galleries. A very good museum experience in Paris.
Came mainly to see the Impressionist works and really enjoyed the collection. There is plenty to see without the museum feeling overwhelming. One of the highlights of our sightseeing.
The museum was quite busy during our visit, particularly around the more famous paintings. Still, we had enough time to explore and enjoyed the experience overall.
We spent roughly two hours here and the time passed surprisingly fast. There was a lot more to see than we expected. The collection is excellent and I would allow even more time on a future visit.
We visited as a family and had a lovely time. Everyone enjoyed exploring the different rooms, and the building itself is impressive. Glad we included Musée d’Orsay in our Paris plans.
Fraud, do not use this service, our ticket was invalid as it had already been used that morning
Excellent museum. The audio guide (6 Euros at this time) is worth the cost. Spent about three hours there, but could have spent more time. I get overloaded after a few hours in museums. Although the museum was crowded, most people were respectful and spent brief moments in front of the artwork before moving to the side. Except at Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Some people stood in front for minutes at a time. We had a snack at the first floor cafe (a sandwich and banana bread). Both were good and reasonably priced. The building was a railway station converted into the museum 40 years ago. Beautiful structure that enhances the experience.
I was sceptical at first, but it was worth the risk as all tickets were fully booked via the official site, and we managed to get in perfectly via this alternative route. Thank you so much! We loved this experience.
Wonderful museum if you like Renaissance art which I do. And the building itself is stunning!
Great museum with the best Impressionist collection in the world!
The Orsay Museum was one of our favorite stops in Paris. The museum has a fantastic atmosphere and an incredible selection of artwork. Everything was easy to explore, and we would happily visit again.
We had a great time at the Orsay Museum. The Impressionist collection was the highlight for us, with so many beautiful paintings by famous artists. It was a relaxing and memorable experience.
A wonderful museum to visit in Paris. There are so many famous and interesting artworks, and the building itself is impressive. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting.
The Orsay Museum was absolutely beautiful and well organized. The collection is amazing, especially the Impressionist paintings. We really enjoyed walking through the museum and taking our time to appreciate the artwork.
Getting the actual ticket to display for the agent took forever. Very confusing
Incredible and awesome building. The access to the galleries was very easy and not too crowded. We really enjoyed the Rodin and Impressionist galleries which had very impressive examples of the key artists. A visit to recommended to art lovers and enthusiasts alike.
I've longed to see these pictures for years and my hopes were fulfilled. The atmosphere was great, though it was crowded. A couple of extra lifts would be good.
Such a beautiful museum. The old train station is to perfect place to showcase all the beautiful paintings and statues. We personally jumped to the 5th floor and worked our way down. Stunning… easily maneuvering the wings and floors… a must see!
Fifth floor. Heavenly experience.
Great experience. Purchased last minute tickets for sold out day. Arrived in email shortly after purchased. Worked great at ticket booth.
Regarding the Trip Advisor/ Viator "Skip-the-line tickets", and in response to the vender's response: My experience had nothing to do with the June heat or any other misunderstanding. People should BUY TIME-SPECIFIC TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM THE MUSEUM ITSELF IF YOU REALLY WANT "SKIP THE LINE." Folks with a museum ticket went right into the museum. If we had gotten to the museum later, we likely would not have made it into the museum, there was a huge line. Buy direct.
Guide was fine. Tour was extremely quick as expected. What was not clear and very frustrating was how far away the wine and cheese tasting was from the museum. It was over a mile walk which was not fun in the heat.
This was perfect to help us skip the long line to purchase tickets at the site, we just walked straight in. For the record, they did not check our children's passports for age, they just let them walk in. This museum is a must-see.
Far better than the Louvre. Very easy to view the exhibits. The setting is very unique and provides an amazing back drop. Must see the Impressionist gallery on 5th floor. Also much less crowded than other Paris tourist spots.
