We waited for the Viator representative for more than half an hour to trade the Viator tickets with the actual Moulin Rouge to tickets. We ended up with last row with partially obstructed seats. Worse experience ever.

Reviews
Fun, entertaining . Performers were exceptional.. work of art. Very lively atmosphere. Love love it .
Must dress up. Men must wear pants. It’s very packed with people and you don’t have much space to move around. The show was amazing. Very talented performers. Loved other than the bad seats.
Great show. The ticket included a diene river cruise. It said you could use whenever you liked. It never mentioned it could only be from the day after the Moulin Rouge show so we were unable to do it as we left the next morning. Found it very hard to try to communicate this to anyone on Viator. So &900 ish dollars was a lot of money to spend on one show.
Wonderful experience, everything was made so convenient! Bus drive back after the show was an extra sight seeing bonus! Loved it, 100% recommend. Still have our tickets for the boat, looking forward to it!
A must see while in Paris! The costumes, acts and choreography were absolutely amazing. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded anything I could have imagined.
There is a dress code! It was so hot in Paris, we arrived in shorts and was told ny the operator that our legs had to be covered. Nothing on the description advised this and we were sent to a souvenir store to buy pants for everyone in our party. $150.00 Euros to biy pants!! After I paid close to $1000.00 for three tickets. We ran back to the theatre and then they checked our backpacks and we were told to throw away all of our water bottles only to be told that we had to check our bags. Why did we have to remove our water if our bags had to be checked anyway? Then we were seated in the very back row and our view of the stage was partially obstructed ny a column in the room. My family did not enjoy their time. Please add to this description that legs must be covered, no water bottles are allowed and backpacks must be checked in!
The show is fabulous! However, when you book with Viator you sit in a section with blocked views. I had to tip the usher to change our seats so we could even see the stage.
It’s like going to a broadway show, French style, with bistro tables, alcohol and can can dancers. Good to do once. The tour guide was excellent and coordinated everything regarding transportation and meeting up.
Although being preselected by your vendor The seats had a horribly obstructed view. The show was nice otherwise
A fun evening with colorful costumes and dancers both male and female. A full glass of champagne helped us relax and enjoy the show. Entertaining and a fun night!
5 star review! Exactly as described - host met us right outside of the box office. Make sure you got a little early, a line starts to form after 830. I read previous reviews about the river cruise needing to be done another day which was fine. The Viator host also clearly explained this when we gave our tickets. They also offered a bus ride back to 3 major sites in central Paris, however there are tons of taxis. The show itself was SUPERB! Amazing performances, costumes, waiter service, etc. all beyond expectations. Tip the maitre’d for a better table! Do not miss Moulin Rouge!
Everything was wonderful with the exception of not getting to pick seats . While there is truly no bad seat, we were crammed at a table for 2 but it was set up to accommodate 6 people.
Show was great. But given less than 10 mins from end of the show to get to bus. We did our best but had to get coats and had elderly mother with me, made it to the spot for bus pickup about 3 mins late and bus gone. And co would not give us any portion back. Cost more than $80 for uber. That was the only disappointment with this excusion.
Show was good, but we were given the back seats, in which we could not see the performers well. They should have not accepted too many audience if some will be compromised.
Such a fun show! Our tour person was wonderful! Thank love leaving reviews when I’m happy with your service BUT I do t understand why there needs to be a “character minimum”?!?!?!? Makes me not want to bother leaving a review.
Know in advance that the seine cruise can only be accessed the following day, even if you’re assured that’s not the case as we were that information isn’t honoured.
The show was amazing! We did get the champagne. My issue is we booked with a cruise of the Seine. We obviously paid extra than if we had purchased the tickets directly just for the show. When we arrived at 845pm, the last show time, we were informed that we can't do the cruise that night as the show was too late, and we could use our ticket to do the cruise another day and the ticket is good for 1 year. This couldn't happen for us as we had already filled our schedule/itinerary and could not cancel other reservations. Be cautious, confirm you can actually do your River cruise the same night as your show. Unfortunately for us, purchasing on Viator was a waste of money. We were given no advanced notice and no opportunity for a refund of the cost of the cruise.
The show was great! Only downfall is that there is no control over seating selection. We were seated towards the back and there was some obstruction with columns but it didn't totally ruin our experience. Tour operator provides bus service back to 3 general locations which was convenient to get us back to our hotel. We did the Siene River cruise the following day which was a relaxing way to see some of the City's sights.
This was my first time seeing this show, and let me just say — it was absolutely breathtaking. The stage came alive with a stunning display of vibrant colors, dazzling lights, and beautifully designed costumes bursting with rich hues. Everywhere I looked, there was motion, sparkle, and energy. I loved the music, the dancing, and especially the explosion of color throughout the performance. Our guide made the experience even smoother — very friendly, easy to find, and provided clear instructions along with our tickets to get into the show. I truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this unforgettable performance to anyone visiting.
Nina was a fabulous host. The show was excellent. We loved the show. She was helpful. The show and the arrangement was great
Nina was amazing!!! We had a great time, she is very friendly and kind. We leaving Paris with good memories 😊 and wishing her good luck hopefully see you again 🤞
The show is iconic but more like a Las Vegas or cruise ship show. We had a good time but it is expensive, crowded, and not sure it's worth the money.
It was great. Our guide Nina was exceptional. She was very friendly. Took great care of us. Loved it l. I will highly recommend it to family and friends
It was easy to book through Viator and get tickets at the venue. Helpful staff. Great show, a memorable experience.
Everything about this experience was exceptional! We had dinner before the show near the theater and met the Paris CityVision guide (in the red vest) right outside the Moulin Rouge gift shop who gave us the show tickets, tickets for the Seine River cruise (that we used the following day) and met us at the same spot after the show to put us on the correct bus back to the Arc de Triomphe. We had a table between the balconies (no obstructed views) and a full bottle of champagne. It's a more expensive experience but absolutely worth it!
Booked Several Months Ahead and Stuck Us in the Very Back of the Room; Boat Tickets’ Location Inconvenient; Drop Off Worthless.
I visited the Moulin Rouge with my daughter. We got there early which was good as we had been seated in a table of six. We got the better seats as we were the first there. While our view of the stage was good everyone was tightly packed in and I was very conscious throughout that I could be blocking others view and came out with stiff muscles from the effort of trying to sit out of the view of others. I couldn’t move my chair as there wasn’t enough room. The turn around between shows is very quick and they really hassle you to leave. The show was good, not sure I would bother again though. The champagne was a good quality. The dancers really were amazing, but the cramped conditions ruined it for me.
The show was fabulous. I wish I could have seen the whole stage. Our seat were not good we had a wall block half the stage. Sad about that Also i think the bus could have gotten us a little closer than a 30 min walk at midnight in Paris the river cruise was a very nice
I had a very bad experience When I slid my chair back I hadn’t realised the area was so small My back chair legs went over the edge and I had a hard fall. Lucky not to get severe injuries
Fantastic experience all round, totally unexpected show with the girls and boys dancing the night away. A much looked forward to show.
A piece of Paris tradition. Nice setting and good views from almost everywhere in the hall onto the stage. Seats pretty uncomfortable for spending 4 hours on them though (feel as old as the theatre) .. first a nice champagne gourmet diner - good but nothing special and very expensive for what they eventually serve - then a mindblasting, splendid, gorgeous, colorful, sexy > 2.5h show with almost 50 superbly dressed and talented dancers. Nice choreography…
The show was okay. But they didn’t tell me til I got there that the cruise wasn’t for the same day, even though it was included in the itinerary. Another costumer I met there was confused by the same thing. We were trying to figure out how to fit the cruise in on our already busy trip! I might change my recommendation if that were made more clear. It was misleading.
Arrived as instructed by our leaflet to pick up tickets at Moulin Rouge only to b told we needed to wait till 6pm for our tickets. Went at 6pm to be told again no tickets, come back at 8pm. At 8pm we given our tickets however missed the cruise as we needed to make our own way to the Eiffel Tower for the cruise, this was not communicated anywhere in writing therefore we did not have enough time for cruise. Moulin Rouge better than we anticipated. Fantastic athletes, choreography and visual performances. Overall we are disappointed that we missed out on cruise however would highly recommend the show.
Easy to get tickets from guide outside of Moulin Rouge just as explained. We scheduled thru Viator in case excursion needed to be cancelled which is easy to do thru Viator but impossible to do if tickets had been bought thru Moulin Rouge.
The show was so much fun. Originally Thought that our seats were in the nosebleed section, but the show is so big that it was perfect.
Fabulous cabaret experience! This was my second time seeing a show at Moulin Rouge. The first time was 8 years ago. This second show was as good as the prior one. The dancers and acts are superb. If you are in Paris, make sure this is on your list to see.
The Mouin Rouge never disappoints. However, it is too crowded for comfort. People are packed like sardines. The show is entertaining with great costumes and very talented dancers/singers. Second time to see this show and wowed again!
The guide was not wearing a red vest or any company attire so it was hard to locate them at Moulin Rouge. After I did, I did not receive instructions on what to do after the show so I panicked and asked one of the servers at Moulin Rouge to assist me. Luckily they found out I was supposed to meet her at 10:50 outside the show. I had trouble finding her again. When I did find her, I discovered I would not be getting to do the river cruise as advertised, only a voucher for future use. Instead I was put on a bus back to my hotel. I could have purchased all of this on my own with a lot less stress and hassle.
Amazing show but very expensive. Worth going to though for the experience. Costumes were absolutely stunning.
An amazing show, truly brilliant. The dancers were fantastic, the staff were all very helpful, the atmosphere was buzzing. Truly an enjoyable evening.
Very disappointed with seating we could only see half of the stage as wall blocking the other half they should not be allowed to sell those seats
It was not clear that we would only receive our river boat tour tickets on the night of the show which was amazing! Our river cruise tickets for that tour were a waste of money and never used! It was a holiday season and most river cruises were already booked! Go to the show on your own and book a Seine River dinner cruise!
Absolutely brilliant. What an experience. We had super seats and the show was just amazing from start to finish. I would highly recommend this to everyone. It’s a must.
Friendly, approachable staff. All information sent to me with easy to follow instructions. Great show and cruise the following day at our leisure
Exactly as described! We were grateful for the Moulin Rouge tickets and the river cruise was so much fun. I don’t know that we would have booked that on our own without it being included so it was a great bonus. The representative was there when the doors were opening so we were able to get our tickets and get into the show early. Highly recommend. We would book again!
It’s not worth the cost. Seating is uncomfortable and table set up makes it hard to see. Over $220 per person for a glass of champagne and the 1.5 hour show
This was an epic show, such vibrant glamour & costume changes, it has to seen to believe the show. The ladies are the next level so beautiful I really wish my wife was there but I will plan in the future
I was very disappointed with our seat location. The views were restricted and for the cost of the tickets, I would have hoped for better seating. The show itself was amazing, the costumes were very colourful and the artists were incredible.
The moulin rouge show was amazing, however I was very disappointed with the seating. At a cost of £678 for 4 people to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday, I had expected a table for 4 of us as a family, instead we were shoved right to the back in a table with 2 strangers… it ruined our experience. We received 1 drink as per the booking. I ordered 2 diet cokes and they never came. Overall it was a very expensive experience and not special for the 4 of us. The boat cruise was equally disappointing just a boat ride really, needing to download the app for the sites very poor?
