Pascal was a very knowledgeable guide. We learned so much history about Montmartre and its evolution over time. You could tell he had a great appreciation of its past. We moved at our own pace and were not rushed.

Pascal was great- on time, informative, and fun.
Our guide was a little late due to unexpected train delays but once the tour got started, he was very knowledgeable around the surrounding areas and we had a personalized tour that was away from the crowds, which was really lovely
Very full 3 hour tour. Excellent way to learn about Montmartre. Hristo imparted a lot of information and I feel I saw a lot of Montmartre and got a good sense of it
Our guide, Come, was exceptional. Catered to all of our needs. Knew the area very well and kept pace with our needs. Even recommended a great restaurant after our tour!
Flora was incredibly knowledgeable and customized our tour to my family’s interests. It made the experience memorable for my entire family!
Del was great. She had lots of history and tales to tell as we walked through the neighborhood and inside of some historical sites. Experience was way better than expected!
We loved our tour of Monmartre with Pascal. The tour was fun and hit all of the spots where artists lived and painted. We stopped in the area center and bought lovely watercolor pieces to take home. I highly recommend.
Wish we could rate this 6 out of 5 stars!! Del was an exceptional guide - she knows Montmartre intimately and did a wonderful job of tailoring the presentation to our individual interests. She was all over everything from the history to the best photo stops, shopping, etc. One of the best tours of our trip!
Having a guide take you around is a great way to ensure you don’t miss out on some of the key highlights in and around the area! Del was very friendly, went with the flow of what our kids were interested in and ensured we all got to see the things we hand in mind! It’s definitely a place you can explore for longer than 3 hours, especially if you choose to get your portraits done! :)
Our tour with Elli was fantastic!! She has such a wonderful personality - so knowledgeable and outgoing with lots of humor mixed in!! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, and we will leave Paris with the unforgettable memories made with Elli!
The guide was lovely, but so entrenched in history there was not really any interesting facts or details that she can convey. We were looking for a more cultural, informative experience, less of a historical one.
Very slow. A little boring. Would have preferred the guide to be French. I have done many tours. I compare this to others.
We had a great tour of the Montmartre area! Our tour guide, Elli, contacted us weeks before our arrival to find out specifically what we wanted out of this tour. My wife is a photographer so Elli designed the tour with that in mind. She pointed out all the interesting and iconic places, buildings and statues. What is so special about this tour was it was was designed just for us and our interest. Elli is very knowledgeable and highly educated, as well as lots of fun! As we walked the Montmartre area she explained the culture and history of the area and was easy to understand and talk to. A great tour! Also, because we were a bit apprehensive about taking the subway back to our hotel, Elli went with us! Took us to within 2 blocks of our hotel and showed us a great place to have lunch! This was definitely not part of the tour. Because of Elli this tour was way beyond what we expected!
Excellent, informative tour. Really interesting and really beautiful. The guide was full of all sorts of information and it was a wonderful afternoon.
Roffy went above and beyond to show and explain the history of various sites on the tour. What a great area to visit while staying in Paris. She is very personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Very disappointing - our guide never showed up. We were on our own! We arrived at the meeting point and waited over 40 minutes before we finally connected with someone who told us our guide was not available!
The tour guide roffy was excellent but you overcharged me . It was very expensive . You charged me 100 euro extra compared to other guides
This is a great tour. However our guide started at the bottom (Moulian Rouge) and we had to climb to the top because, as he said, “when I start at the top and go down, my clients like to stop halfway down for a break for lunch or drinks.” We had two children under 11 and two people over 74. The climbing made it very hard for us. Start at the top!!! Listen to your customers.
It was one of the most informative tour ever! Nancy is so wonderful ! Really passionate about French culture and history! And it was so great to hear all this historical facts and little stories and see with your own eyes all these historical buildings and places. Thank you, Nancy, a million for this day! Very very recommend this tour and Nancy as tour guide!
Our tour guide, Jill was very knowledgeable and went above by providing us with cheese and baguettes.
The Lava wall with I love you in all languages. My tour Guide was the best. She was wonderful. She was so inclusive of what ever I wanted to do.
The tour guide was courteous, patience, and professional. She was very knowledgeable abut the area and can provide history as well as current trends of the neighnourhood. Highly recommended.
We loved Montmartre as it’s beautiful, charming, historic, artsy .. all things webut the tour guide was not very good. She was 30 minutes late. Then, when we walked around, we felt as if our mother was telling us what to do and not in a very well informed fashion. Overall, I would say she needs to find a different career.
We had a great tour with Ruoffy. She was a wonderful guide. Our kids enjoyed the tour which is big deal. lol
Nino was a lovely tour guide with incredible energy. He is very passionate about his knowledge sharing. Made me feel so comfortable. It was like being with an old friend. Great tour and would recommend Nino to anyone looking for a sweet tour of the gems in Montemarte
Just walked around for 3 hours. First hour interesting. Rest was not worth it. Not much information and just pointed out streets. We even said wanted place for lunch. She pointed out sine but they were a distance from where we ended. We couldn’t have found restaurants after fact. Wished we ended tour early and ate a nice lunch in montemarte. Left in area without many restaurant choices
The place is just lovely, many beautiful places to stop by and see how pretty Paris is, people is nice and our guide tour was so much fun and nice.
Having a personal tour guide, Jaime, made this a very complete experience because in addition to historical info, he had back stories on many aspects of Montmartre, its character and lifestyle
Outstanding, knowledgeable guide. Enjoyable experience Would highly recommend to anyone Would do again
Roffy was an amazing guide! Very personable, knowledgeable, and even helped push my mother in her wheelchair! Montmartre is a fabulous experience - highly recommend this tour and guide!
Rothy was an amazing guide! Very personable, knowledgeable, and even helped push my mother in her wheelchair! Montmartre is a fabulous experience - highly recommend this tour and guide!
Tour guide didn’t show up it’s only that I contacted Viator that i found out tour would not be happening Very disappointed as I booked this tour 3 months in advance
The long climb to the top. Roffy was great about giving us sufficient time to go at our own pace and take rest stops when needed.
I have used viator many times in.the past and this was the only time have bee disappointed and felt that I didn't get any where near my .money's worth We were supposed to get a private 3 hour tour of monmarte to my fault I booked walking rather than a car service However saying that it took 20 min to walk to metro Station then approx an hour by metro to get close to . Monmarte then another 20 minutes to Walk to location Again not your or our tour guides fault there was no way i could walk up the steps after walking so much to get there I was later to learn that there was a train that takes you to the top This was never offered to me We spend only about 25 min total in monmarte Because we had to be back on our boat and couldn't risk another 90 minutes to get back we took an uber It was the by far the biggest waist of $173 ever
John was amazing. He made the tour fun and he knew the history of Montemarte. He even walked us all the way to our lunch destination to make sure we didn’t get lost.
We explained before our private tour that we were with our granddaughter and wanted this trip to be appropriate for her. Lots of talks about the sex shops which was not appropriate. I don’t mind walking but I would like some interesting stops along the way. Never offered a good bathroom stop during the 3 hours.
Hristo did an amazing job on our tour! He met us at our hotel and tailored our tour to the things that we were most interested in seeing and hearing about.
Our guide Clovis is from this area and very knowledgeable about all the little extras that make a good experience extraordinary. He even gave us inside on the good places to have lunch. His English is perfect as he lived in L.A. for 10 years. He is also an artist and very interesting to talk with.
Sacre Coeur. And, walking around Mont Marte with the colorful stories provided by John about the artists and their muse
Anukool was a wonderful guide and historian of all things Parisian! He is also personable and interesting to talk to.
It was a great easy, long walk. Our tour guide was very informative and nice. We had three kids with use so he was very accommodating. Would recommend for a nice sunny afternoon.
Thai tour was not customized. There is no pick up at hotel and we had to take the Metro with guide. All history and really not what we expected. He did a good job with the explanations but was not customized at all. Due to this tour, we cancelled the other tours
Flora was very professional, kind and nice and it was easy to learn from her, we had a great time together!
Hristo was a great guide! His knowledge and personality made the experience very memorable! Highly recommended!
David our guide was on time, prepared, really friendly and very professional. We were able to choose exactly what we wanted to see.
Our tour guide Elysee was just wonderful. He had great knowledge of the area and was absolutely charming. I highly recommend him. Thanks Elysee!
Our knowledgeable tour guide Briella took us to the must see areas of this historic district. We took many photos of one of the most beautiful areas in Paris.
The tour guide never showed up for our one day tour. We woke up early to meet him/her at our hotel, as confirmed the night before, and they never showed up. The day was ruined as we were very disappointed. Not a good way to start our vacation in Paris.
The tour was so nice and informative. Jamie was the tour guy. He was very much friendly and walked me around the area. He also picked me up from the hotel and took me back to it after the tour.
