Montmartre Food Tour - Chocolate, Crepes, Pastries And More!

Very good tour - informative and delicious! Our guide was a little late due to travel delays due to general unrest in the area but she made up the time and ensured we could meet our next appointment. Be aware that the tour starts in the more risqué neighborhoods before going up into Montmartre.

What a wonderful way to spend a morning in Paris! Our amazing tour guide, Paulette, made the experience so enjoyable as we explored the city, learned about its fascinating history, and sampled some of the most delicious French treats! From incredible chocolates and pastries to freshly made crêpes and croissants, everything was absolutely delicious. Paulette was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, sharing wonderful stories about Paris and its food traditions along the way. It was the perfect combination of history, culture, and delicious food. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour, especially with Paulette as your guide!

Perfect tour four day one of our family trip. Food was fabulous and our guide, James, provided so much knowledge of the neighbourhood and Paris in general. Kept the adults and kids (11 + 14) well engaged - the time flew by!

Can’t leave Paris without doing this experience! James was wonderful and took us to new places that we had not done on a previous trip. He really knows the area and could not recommend this experience more.

Paulette was so knowledgeable and friendly. She not only fed us delicious food but provided us history of the area and the different shops, bakers, and chefs. Definitely worth every cent and bite!

James was a very interesting and knowledgeable guide. We had some good laughs and interesting conversations. The pastries were diverse, delicious, and filling.

Great tour with Sylvie. There was more to the tour than food. She described each baker and chocolatier’s background, specialties, and awards. I experienced tastes that I had never previously encountered, all of which I enjoyed. Between tastings, she showed us landmarks in Montmartre, including the love wall. Sylvie is personable, interesting, articulate, and well informed. She arrived on time and provided helpful transportation information.

It was a great mix of history and sweets! Our kids ages 13 and 9 loved it. James was great and very knowledgeable. We left full!!!

It’s a perfect mix of a little history of Monmarte and the best treats. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made everything easy and relaxed.

It was a lovely hour. Henry was our guide and besides walking us through this very nice pastry, sweets and chocolates shops, he walked us giving us a tour all the way, with history and good localtions for acitivities and to eat. He was a very happy and nice individual, funny adding some humor to the history details, and he gave me some useful advice for the rest of my trip in Paris. The sweets were amazing, in most place you have options, so you're not stuck to a thing you might not like. I definately recommend, and if you're lucky, Henry will be your guide!

great tour and tour guides. We had to reschedule our tour due to a sick kiddo and even though viator couldn't help the tour guides and company were so helpful and accommodating! we were able to reschedule to a later day and all enjoy the wonderful tour. highly recommend for families with kids, my girls (9 and 12) loved the tour!

Nadia was great! She was full of information and lots of energy. The food was amazing! We had a wonderful time!

We did many food and walking tours and enjoyed them all including this one. I will say a disappointing part of this was that it is advertised as small group and we had 15 people (should have been no more than 8) This made it very had to hear the guide so we felt more like we just walked from one place to the next in a long line. With a group that size you have so many people with different walking abilities. You will however be given many generous portions of sweet treats.

This was a great experience. Our guide Nadia was wonderful! She shared some cool history facts along with our tasting. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Sylvie was a wonderful host. She sent text with meeting info about 45 minutes before start time, spoke very good English, engaged the entire group and made everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone who likes to sample some great food and see local shops in action.

The guide did a nice job BUT the tour was supposed to be “Private” with 5 people and it wasn’t! It was 14 people, hot, and slow because of the big group!

Nadia was a great guide. 6 stops for sweets. It was plenty without being stuffed. Very rich sweets!

Henry was nice and engaged with everyone. We didn't feel we learned a whole lot. The area where the tour started was suspect.

Loved this tour learning about the history of Montmarte and tasting excellent chocolate and pastries. The walk was easy to do and our tour guide was very informative.

This tour did not live up to the expectation. We went 5/1 - Labor Day - which we knew but there was nothing when booking that indicated that would be an issue. The guide was surprised that the places he intended to stop were closed. We walked for two hours (a lot uphill) and had 2 macarons each. At the end he had us sit at a cafe and order drinks (on us) while he went looking for food. He came back with one eclair for us to share and two crepes. We could not eat the crepes there (since they weren’t purchased there) so we walked until the end of the tour and then he left us to find our own place to eat them. They were cold by that time. The guide was knowledgeable and personable - but this was not inexpensive and was supposed to be a pastry and chocolate tour. We stopped at one place for macarons - no chocolate, no ice cream, no croissant, we shared an eclair……. Can’t recommend.

This food tour is worth the price. The location is amazing - you get to see Sacre-Coeur and walk around the 18th arrondissement. There are some interesting historical facts weaved into the tour and the assortment of pastries you taste are incredible.

We went on the Monmartre pastries and chocolate food tour and it was a great experience! Our tour guide, Nadia was very nice and knowledgeable. She showed us around and the pastry shops that she took us to was so good! We tried all different types of pastries like a croissant, crepe, macaron, chocolate, etc. They were all delicious! The tour lasted about 2 hours.

This tour was amazing, really well run the lady who led it was lovely and all of the food was delicious would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris!

A lovely morning’s walk around Montmartre. Sylvie was friendly and engaging and took us to a lovely selection of tasty food spots. She told us interesting bits of information in between the sweet treats. Would recommend as a nice gentle way to discover some good food.

The tour was very informative, and Sylvie was a lot of fun. She had a great sense of humor and we really enjoyed our time with her. We learned a lot about the bakeries and history of pastries. Also, the desserts and chocolates were very tasty!

Had a great time with Sylvie exploring Montmarte and the tastiest pastries. Our tour only had 5 people, which was a great intimate setting, and she shared with us some notes about the places/desserts. I’d recommend bringing with you some water/coffee.

Great tour.our tour guide Nadia was awesome. It is all walking. We thought maybe you would sit for dessert but we didn't. Got the desserts and walked. They were all very yummy and we got lots of history of the area and the foods on the tour. Enjoyed!

Paulette was a fantastic tour guide. We tasted 7 different treats (full size!) & she thought ahead too- the chocolates were packed up to let us enjoy them later. Each stop was unique. This was fun for kids and adults alike!

An interesting tour in Montmartre even without the food. It's very informative and the kids really liked it.

This was a great way to see the Montmartre area and sample some great pastries and chocolates. Everything we tried was really good. We walked and ate and learned some history about the city and the neighborhood. Sometimes you go in to the store with the guide. Sometimes the guide takes your order and brings the treats out to you. A couple people popped into different shops for coffee or hot chocolate or another treat, and there was plenty of time for that. I would do this again to explore another neighborhood. It was a fun experience for our family. James was our guide and was very friendly, informative and flexible with our group. 5 stars for James as well!

Sylvie was a very friendly and lovely tour guide with great knowledge to share about the Montmartre Village area. We enjoyed the best, famous and finest sweet treats originating and established in Montmartre. Absolutely delicious!!! I would recommend booking Sylvie's tour when you 1st arrive in Paris, as she shows you and shares so much knowledge!
