A wonderful visit to Mont Saint-Michel with Jean Batiste. He provided a lot of interesting information along the way and made sure everyone on the tour was safe and comfortable. Merci Jean Batiste!

This would have been 5 stars except they jammed 8 people into a passenger van (NOT a bus). It was a tight squeeze for a 4 hour (each way) ride
We had very nice day with Rollins for the trip to Le Mont Saint Micheal. He is very knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot from him. He is very passionate, patient and looked after everyone in the group in a great detail. We really appreciate his enthusiasm and support during the day. Thank you, Rollins. X. & J
Had a good wonderful day to Mont Saint Michel. Was worried about the 4 hour trip from Paris, yet was very easy and comfortable in our small van for 7. Had ample 5 hours at Mont St Michel for touring lovely lunch. You get break stops on the way for buying some drinks food and toilet breaks. Great day trip from Paris and a bucket list item for sure.
Wonderful day with Vivien as our driver. Great safe driver was very courteous and thoughtful. Definitely recommend this to and company.
Roland was a great guide , very Knowledgeable along the way and at Mont Saint Michel. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Also made sure we had our tickets at the Abbey and gave great food recommendations as well
What a beautiful structure!! Roland did a wonderful job! He was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the trip!
There wasn’t a tour guide, just a driver to the location and back, but no talking about the destination. In fact, the driver admitted they didn’t know much about it. Additionally, the van was very crammed which made the 4hour trip very uncomfortable. The driver was driving way over the speed limit (> 30 k/h), constantly changing lanes, and stopping suddenly when there was traffic. I wouldn’t recommend this company. I should’ve followed the advice from other reviewers.
Tour was perfect and our guide is Serge is the best guide ever.
Our driver and guide, Andreas was great.
It's a long drive, but our driver Andres was very efficient and accommodating. He also gave us very helpful and clear guidance and itineraries at the destination. Overall it's a long trip but you get to see an incredible and unique sight!
This tour was all I expected! The best way to visit Mont St. Michel. Small group in a van. The driver was very nice and drove safely. We got to the place in exactly four hours, had time to explore, have lunch and even do some shopping. This place is a must see in France. Highly recommend it.
Great day trip from Paris. Our guide, JB was fantastic. He was patient with some of the older participants in the group-so everyone felt included and no one was left behind. Never felt rushed but we were also able to arrive before the large bus crowds. 10/10 would do it again and bring my mom next time.
It’s a long day but it really is worth it. Be advised there are a lot of steps to get to the top of Mount St Michel and travelers with bad knees or poor mobility may struggle to get to the top. Our driver Antonio did a great job. This was a long long day and traffic into Paris at night was rough. I saw him dodge many possible accidents due to other drivers carelessness with great skill. We felt very safe. He was very kind about stopping for breaks and the stop places were very nice. Clean and with good food options. He offered additional stops if we needed them.
We had a wonderful time and this tour gave us a taste of what Mont Saint Michel has to offer and left us wanting more!! Our tour guide Sergio, was amazing! He gave us a history lesson from the moment we were picked up, pointing out castles and apple orchards, where to find the best cheese and butter as well as its history in the area before finally getting to the Abby. Our ticket included exploring the Abby which was gorgeous and we had some time to spare to souvenir shop, take in all the views and grab some food to eat on the road back. It would have been nice to have had more time to explore the Abby and the surrounding town, but as I mentioned it left us wanting more so we can come back and see it lit up at night. I recommend this tour if you are short on time and need a quick day trip getaway. The service was top notch where they gave us a rest break each way during the 3 hour road trip. Sergio was a delight and also a safe driver. He was very communicative and gave clear instructions on where to meet up, how to get around and gave recommendations on what to see and do. Super helpful! And he spoke English and Spanish, and always made us laugh. Thank you Sergio and thanks Viator!
I was slightly apprehensive about being in a car with people I didn’t know for so long, but when I stay in Paris I always try to balance its intensity with the calmer atmosphere of a more peaceful destination—and this trip delivered a beautiful, relaxed visit to a very special place . Our guide, Nicholas had an instinct for when to share with us, but also when to let us have our own conversations. There was such an austere beauty there that I was grateful there was so interesting a group to share the experience with. Thank you Nicholas and Paris Tourisme.
My husband and I went to MSM with our guide, JB. Somehow, we were lucky enough to be the only two for the tour. JB is a phenomenal guide, and we both learned so much from him on the way there and back. (He even drove us by the Eiffel Tower and the mini Statue of Liberty on the way there and back). If you get the chance, take this day trip from Paris. It is not something to be missed!
Tour Operator demanded an additional 250 euro less than 24 hours before trip. Said we didn't meet the min number of passengers. No min was stated in booking. Notification was too late to find another tour. Booked over 10 weeks in advance. Payment was made. And then credited after cancellation. I will never book anything with France tourisme again. Booked through viator. Found on tripadvisor
First our tour guide, Michel, was very knowledgeable of history surrounding Paris and Mont St Michel. He was very considerate of any needs of those in his group. His driving was on point. We loved our trip and timing for everything was great. We had enough time to see everything we wanted to see and didn’t have to worry about figuring anything out. Michel told us what to expect each step of the way. Highly recommend
Serge, our tour guide was amazing. He went above and beyond making us feel welcomed, explaining and giving us background information on the places we traveled. He was also attentive to every detail and provided us with water at all times. I would recommend this tour and I would request to have Serge as the tour guide.
Roland was awesome! Great tour. I went solo but I felt welcomed. I highly recommend it. Mon Saint Michel was impressive.
Very interesting place to visit . Guide was really nice. However, I think the title in misleading in that it led me to believe the guide would be with us throughout, whereas he just brought us to the structure and said when and where to meet up later. I saw other guides giving out out lots of info to groups, so no reason why the tour could not have done the same. Disappointing in that regard.
Mont St Michel was INCREDIBLE! I have waited a long time to get to see it in person. My tour guide Remy was a very nice gentleman but did not actually give us a guided tour. I didn't learn hardly anything from him about the abbey as we were left to ourselves for the majority of the tour. Also, it was a long day as it was a 4 hr drive each way & we were crammed into a 9 person van. Glad I went but wish I had been able to be more comfortable traveling & had learned more about the abbey.
Great tour! Saw the sun rise and set while traversing though the lush terrain of Normandy! More than enough time allocated to explore Mont-Saint-Michel and wonder around the nearby village.
The drive was long but the ride was comfortable and we made one stop to refuel and take a break. He gave us thorough instructions when we got to Mont Saint Michel which was a very beautiful abbey. Great job.
The entire experience was seamless and easy. The meeting spot was close to our hotel (walking distance) in a clean, safe area. Upon arrival, everyone with similar tours were grouped by vehicle and then we were off. The van was clean and the driver was courteous. He described the sights of Paris as we made our way to the motorway. It's a long trip to Mont Saint Michel, but it went by quickly. This was my bucket-list location and it was amazing!!! 1000% recommend this tour!
I am so glad we decided to go with the trip. It made it even better because this company was great! We skipped this trip the last time we were in Paris, and I vowed to go the next time. I agonized over the long drive, how crowded it will be, etc, etc. Honestly, since we were still very jet-lagged, we used the drive as our recovery naps/break. The van had plenty of space; there were 7 of us passengers. Mont Saint Michel wasn't that packed when we got there, it was a Sunday, but it was a rainy day, so maybe that contributed to it. There were still a lot of people, but it wasn't overwhelming (attached some photos to show this). I'm guessing we lucked out. If you're on the fence, go for it. I'm sure glad we did.
Fantastic site to visit. Don’t go during the weekends. Too busy. Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs but so worth it if you can manage them. We had a great tour guide with a good sense of humour. Loved the small group of 8!
The travel agency is highly recommended. The guide JB Le Mounier is the best, very attentive, he explained in detail every point visited and everything was coordinated in a precise way. It is a magical place to visit
I thought from the description the guide would walk us thru the abbey and describe. He simply handed us the tickets and pointed the way and we were on our own. Disappointed for as much money as we paid for this. We still had a wonderful visit, just didn’t seem to match the description.
Rolland was very funny and very helpful as our guide. He dealt with some unexpected obstacles professionally and made the trip enjoyable and educational. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat.
Laura was excellent. She explained everything about the tower. Will book with you again in the future.
The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We even had time to stop at a local farm to purchase local apple cider.
ng trip.We took the 8 persons mini van tour. This is faster than the bus tour and leave us with more time to explore Mont Saint-Michel. It is a beautiful place worthy of the long trip. We had plenty of time to tour the place and strolled through the village / shops.
Great way to see such a special tourist attraction. It was good to have the guide to tell us the practicalities of structuring the day best. The location is worth the trip - aim for a sunny day, it was magnificent and pack a travel pillow for the ride, I wasn't expecting an 8-seater van, but was able to catch up on some sleep as I took my pillow.
Incredibly fun ancient town. We loved exploring the Abby and maze of walkways. Great for fit people. Our guide gave us great tips on where to eat and buy stuff. Long ride from Paris, but well worth the ride. Very much a highlight of our trip.
Driver/guide was intuitive, funny, and informative. The drive doesn’t seem that long when you factor in the rest break on the way and on the way back. Plenty of time at the location to sight see, picture take, and eat/shop. Highly recommend.
This a really Beautiful experience Nickoli our driver and guide was excellent too. I would recommend this tour for anyone. Thank you.
I think we went on Saturday June 10 with a tour guide named Alex, a woman from Hong Kong, some people from Portugal, and someone from a Spanish speaking country. Alex brought a lot of energy and positivity and made a good tour better. I did tours myself and I think he's a guy who is always adding new tricks and abilities such as new languages or new historical knowledge. He seems to have good relations with local cider makers. My wife loved this trip, possibly more than anything else we did. Mt. St. Michele is like if Hogwarts and Minas Tirith had a baby. It's an amazing gorgeous place. When you pick a restaurant try not to pick the first one you see necessarily. Check out several places and make a decision. We picked one with an outdoor terrace but it was not that great. The ramparts and Abbey are incredible. Be respectful or else. The flocks of seagulls are very aggressive and will almost attack you if they think you have something in your hands. Be ready to scare them off. The minivan was cramped, but I eventually realized if I sat in a certain spot I could stretch out better. The tour guide will make at least one stop in both directions for bathrooms/food. However the places we stopped had no toilet seats, which was bizarre and disgusting.
We picked this trip to get a little more time at Mont Saint Micel and were glad we did. Amazing place to visit.
As I said long drive there and back. Don’t need as much time there. 4 hours there too long. Most were ready to leave an hour earlier
Honestly, the best tour I could have booked! The guide was lovely and spoke at least 3 different languages to those on our tour. It was the perfect amount of free time and I honestly loved this place! 100% would recommend if you have a spare day in Paris book this day trip.
On 13/4/2023 my family composed of six people took a private day tour from Eurodisney to Mont St Michel. We had an excellent driver Florian who served us also as a guide. Florian is a really young nice person. To us he really was helpful and kind showing all rhe important things to visit.
I loved the self- guided abbey tour. I could move at my own pace. Roland was great! He provided some history of Mont St. Michel.
Excellent trip and the driver(I didn’t remember his name and he is from Nice) was nice and experienced for driving such long time and distance from Paris to saint Michel. I really wanna give him credit. The duration time that we stayed in Saint Michel was fair enough and free time was provided. I appreciated that tour was small in group and the car was so comfortable.
its 4 hours ride one way & minivan was totally jam packed & extremely uncomfortable. My legs went numb
Mont St Michel is an amazing place, if you are visiting Paris, put aside a day to take a trip to Normandy to visit the Abbey, have lunch in one of the many restaurants. The trip is long, but worth it. Driver was excellent.
Nice rich historical venue but unfortunately the rainy weather didn’t make it perfect. guide was helpful
Good trip but transportation is on an old and ver small van. Very uncomfortable for a long trip. The company needs to invest on better means of transport.
Our group consisted of 5 people and we had a lot of fun. The drive was about 4 hours each way and we spent 5 hours at Mont Saint Michel. The location was beautiful. The driver was very kind.
