Medieval Paris: Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle And Conciergerie

Had a great time visiting Notre dame, concierge, and St Chapelle. Lovely guide who was informative and patient. Would do it again.

Elise was our guide and we couldn’t have been more pleased. She was personable, knowledgeable and made the tour very rewarding.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about our tour and personable as well! The Conciergie tour was very interesting as we had not toured there before.

We had a great tour with Pat, she was very understanding that we struggled to find the meeting place and actually came to find us. Throughout our tour she had interesting facts and a great depth of knowledge and passion about Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame and the city of Paris. Summary for Pat was super friendly, super fun and super knowledgeable. We were a family of 5 with adults, 20yr olds and a teenager. She kept us all engaged.

Wonderful experience, private tour guide for the four of us. Easy to meet our guide, Elise Girard, and she was most comfortable getting started. Her English was better than perfect. We spent one hour at Saint-Chapelle with her describing what we were seeing, one hour at the Conciergerie was next, again great insights and explanations. Notre Dame was next, spent time outside describing what we would see inside. She turned us loose to go inside--such a delightful experience. I would use Elise Girard again without hesitation, I do use Viator frequently when traveling.

Our tour guy was polite, prompt & had a welcoming personality. She provided unique ways to introduce information to us that allowed us insight we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. We were so into our 3 tours we went overtime, but she was pleasant and more than accommodating. I wish I had asked to spell her name for us because the accent makes me question what I think her name is - Maleita ? Please make sure our guide knows we loved her.

I booked a semi-private tour of Norte Dame & Saint Chappell on Viator before we left in the US and, as luck would have it, no one else showed up, so we had the privilege of a private tour for 3 hours with Isabelle - truly an unforgettable experience! Isabelle was SO knowledgeable, smart & diligent in making us understand the history of Saint Chappell & Norte Dame . She also had a large IPAD and showed us photos of drawings , and detail information that truly was incredible. We travel a lot for the last 50 years and she was one of our best ! Also made sure that we got our taxi to return to our cruise on time . She took extra steps and spoke to staff of the Norte Dame on the newest info .

Amazing private tour with Thomas, a local Parisienne who shared his intense knowledge of The Conciergerie, Sainte Chapelle, and Notre Dame. We went inside each.

Our tour of the Concierge, Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame was everything we had hoped for. From the in depth discussion of the Concierge’s utilization as a palace and a prison to the discussion of the executions of the king and queen, you could tell our guide was really into the history of it all. Sainte-Chapelle was an absolute gem with both the lower chapel and upper chapel separation of the earthly and Devine. Finally, Notre Dame was everything we had hoped it would be. From the history to the reconstruction it couldn’t have been better.

Raphael was a delightful and extremely knowledgeable guide for our private tour of Île de Cité. She got us swiftly into each site, using time well to provide historical context, fascinating facts, contemporary updates, etc. about each site. She's very passionate about Paris, sharing her love for her home city with genuineness and warmth! We will definitely call on her in the future for additional tours. Highly recommend!
