This was a great introduction to the Louvre! She hit all the highlights and then we had roamed alone after the tour! I highly recommend this if it’s your first time at the louvre!
Our guide stood us up . We are still waiting for a refund. We called them and was told it was too hot after we took the metro and waited for 2 hours outside. It was warm and sunny not overly hot.
We were booked for this tour on Monday, June 1. On Sunday, May 31, about 26 hours prior to our tour, I received a notification that our tour had been cancelled and we would receive a full refund. This was a tour I had booked weeks in advance. Our trips (me, daughter, granddaughter) had been planned for months. We chose different tours on different days because we were visiting London and Paris....so each day was planned carefully. The only reason given was the guide was sick. I asked maybe a backup guide. No, it is high season and no back ups. I asked if we could somehow collect our tickets (they were included in the tour) so we could at least still visit. Nope, that was again the "rules". The suggestion was to visit Louvre site to secure tickets. Well, at this late date, there were no tickets for the next day....because it is high season! We used this same group "My Super Tour" about 3 years ago and had a good experience so that is why I chose them again. We will NEVER book with this group again. We ultimately found another tour for another day but that required us to rearrange a well thought out week. Then, to make matters worse, we saw on FB at least 3-4 other people where this SAME thing happened to them.....got cancelled day prior with the "guide is ill" reason. This was right after the big soccer win in Paris and there was sooo much going on. My gut tells me this was somehow related...but just a guess. A company the size of MySuperTour should have a back up plan in the event a guide is ill.....not just cancel. And, while this was cancelled around 26 hours prior, I would bet money that if we had tried to cancel at the 24 hour (or less mark), we would have been told no way...even if we were "ill". This was now almost 2 weeks ago and it still ticks me off that this was handled this way with zero backup. So, if you book with these folks, be cautious. My solution is simple....wont use them again.
The guide was really good! I don’t remember her name but the speed of the excursion was comfy and the information was surprising and interesting! I love it and recommend everyone who visits Paris
Monica was a great guide. We waited an hour to get into the Louvre due to a strike, but in the end we were able to see many highlights.
It is a definite on a visit to Paris. The guided tour is the only way to avoid the long lines! So much to see!
Excellent guide in Omar. He explained the background to many of the masters
Our guide was so knowledgeable and excited to share all the history of the Louvre. She was very engaging and kind. Would highly recommend!
Monica was our guide and she was wonderful. She kept us moving, gave great tips for pieces to look at and why and made sure to bring in plenty of pop culture references for my teens.
Great informative tour of the highlights of the Louvre. Guide was very knowledgeable and engaged well with the kids. A perfect way to experience the museum. Thank you.
Elizabeth was SO GREAT!! She gave us such a wonderful perspective of the Louvre…the history, the artists and had such an awesome way of giving us more in depth understanding of the historical significance of the artwork too.
Very informative and quite awe inspiring to see exhibits and all the paintings. Needed more time to see
An excellent way to see and understand this amazing museum! Efficient and fast entry to beat the crowds and a knowledgeable guide make this tour standout.
Christian is engaging, knowledgeable and funny. He is experienced so he knows the ins and outs of the museum including the clean bathrooms! My family enjoyed the tour with him!
Requiere hours ahead: 1- confirmation of the correct meeting point; 2-name, telephone number of the guide
This was an excellent tour. It was absolutely worth it to have a guide -- especially for booking tickets, showing us around, making sure we hit all the highlights, and helping to explain the context for art that I never would have known myself (or taken the time to read on every sign). Our tour guide was great (Monica). Very glad that we booked this tour!
The tour was good and had a quick pace. The guide was very helpful, but very, very hard to understand. She was trying very hard to communicate with us in English, but it was a struggle for us to understand her. We did appreciate her enthusiasm and desire to make the trip valuable for us.
The booking and meeting up process was easy and convenient. The guide (Monica) was friendly and very well informed. The tour itself was about the right duration and definitely hit the highlights.
The museum would take months to digest every piece of art. The tour we took was the perfect amount. Our well educated guide made the history of the museum as interesting as the art within it. I grew up in NYC and will look for such a tour at the Met!
We had the very best guide Tonya. My kids adored her and she always made sure we were all together and saw the best sights! She was extremely knowledgeable, wish we had more time!
We had a great time learning and touring the grounds of the museum with our tour guide Natalia. She was fantastic, high spirited, fun and very knowledgeable. We need to go back a few more times. The museum is gigantic 😊
Great stories and information. The guides were great. We were traveling with 4 adults and 5 kids and the length was just right. Be prepared for large crowds.
A wonderful way to see the Lourve and not feel overwhelmed. Monica was very knowledgeable & did a great job helping us see key highlights of the Lourve
Elizabeth was the most wonderful guide. She transformed an overwhelming and chaotic museum trip into a charming, funny, and informative storytelling experience. It was amazing! Elizabeth is amazing! !
We had to quit after being in the tour for 15 minutes. We simply could not understand the tour operators broken english.
No one should visit the Louvre without a guide - now we understand why. Tatiana (My Super Tours) was incredible. In just 3 hours (which flew by), she showed us an impressive range of highlights and shared insights as well as her personal favorites. On our own, we would have taken at least twice as long and missed so much, but Tatiana expertly navigated us through crowds, holding her arm high so we could follow her like a team of speedy ducklings. She asked before we started out whether we had anything on our list, and when I mentioned Napoleon’s Apartments, she was very enthusiastic about adding it to the itinerary. Whether or not you have a specific agenda, we highly recommend Tatiana to anyone visiting the Louvre. Her knowledge, energy, and pacing made all the difference.
Thank you so much Ms. Monica, our dedicated tour guide, who was very interactive and well versed about the history. We were a group of 4 family members with two children. She engaged with children very well. Merci ☺️
This was probably the best way to get a glimpse of Louvre treasures in only 2 hours. We were lucky to get Natalia as a guide. Lots of great stories and details.
Very knowledgeable tour guide, with great must see spots of the Louve. Perfect length for a tour to see the main attractions.
Monica was a great guide and gave us lots of information. She was considerate of our needs for breaks and which parts of the museum we wanted to visit. The museum is huge and you definitely benefit from a guide to make sure you see the highlights and of course the Mona Lisa
Monica was an expert guide with a thorough knowledge of the aspects of the Louvre presented and an ease about her that made the whole tour stress free and fun.
Prompt, professional, knowledgeable courteous. She offered to take our photos multiple times & even offered to continue our tour past Roman, Greek, Neoclassical areas of the Sully Section. We saw major works such as Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and others.
We were unable to visit more than the outside and lobby. The tour company had failed to purchase the tickets not once but twice. So we were not able to attend.
Liza did a fabulous job of showing us the main highlights and giving us some insights into the history of the artwork at the Louvre!
One hour before our tour the guide cancelled on us due to a claimed strike by the Louvre ticketing office. Why were our tickets not purchased in advance or were our tickets sold to a higher bidder? We purchased our tickets 4 days before so would have expected our tickets to already be with the guide Really ruined the experience for my family that we had been so eagerly awaiting on the last day of our trip. I would avoid this company.
The tour was great and Cristian was amazing. Great itinerary of things you can only see at the Louvre including ones we hadn’t see before and all the highlights. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend this tour and Cristian in particular!
The tour takes you through all the highlights and the guide is very knowledgable. Mona Lisa is last. You will wait on queue on your own if you choose.
We highly recommend this tour and our guide, Elisabeth. It was 6 of us—3 high school seniors and their moms- and we were very happy with the tour…it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Elisabeth was full of knowledge and delivered it in a way that was entertaining and interesting.
The guide, Christian, had awesome information, stories, facts etc. Moved us through very well and we felt like we saw it all We would not have gotten as much from the tour with out our knowledgeable guide.
Fantastic, kid friendly tour provided by Dmitry which helped us to extremely efficiently get through the highlights. Tour length of 2hrs was absolutely perfect for 7 and 9 year old kids. We we able to skip the huge lines, walk right in and see everything we wanted. Once the tour was over we were free to roam the museum for the rest of the day. Highly recommended!
Cristian was an amazing tour guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I loved skipping the lines and getting inside the museum early and fast. Cristian showed us all the important pieces in 2 hours. After he finished the tour we had enough time to go back and enjoy at our leisure different pieces of art. I will highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was great. The museum was crowded, but our guide led us through the fast entrance. She gave a good overview of the main attractions. Overall the museum is enormous and I’m glad we had someone who knows where to look to guide us through.
Terrific high-level tour. It hit many of the most important pieces within the two-hour period. Exactly what we were looking for. Our guide, Dimitri, was great!
Natalia was a great guide! As first-timers, it was so helpful to be guided to the top sights without having to navigate the museum on our own.
Liza make our experience unique. She make us transport into the stories, it was fun and interactive. Looking forward to take another tour with her in out next visit.
Great tour because of our guide Elizabeth! She knew all the spots to move us along quickly and get the views of what we wanted to see. The crowds were extremely large so having Elizabeth made all the difference. She knows her history and can answer any questions.
Our guide Elizabeth was so friendly and knowledgeable! She got us to some of the best lourve pieces quickly, only it felt a bit like she was rushing to be finished with our group. Wish we could have stayed to wander ourselves when tour was over but she escorted us out when she was finished.
It was fantastic. 2 hours flew by. I could have stayed another 2 more hours with Elizabeth. She was phenomenal guide and so fun to listen to. I have visited Louvre 2 years ago and had a tour back then as well. I did not like it. This time couldn’t get enough.
We enjoyed are tour of the Louvre museum with Dina. She was a wealth of information. Who would think one could learn so much in just 2 hours! Thank you, Dina!
