it covers very little of the louvre it is hard to navigate. You have to download it to your phone ans house a GPS signal to have it follow along with you. There are very few places in the louvre that is possible.

Reviews
The Louvre is truly amazing; it houses essential works from the history of art, and its architecture is absolutely breathtaking. I loved how this audio guide highlights the most iconic works, while also giving you the chance to explore many others that aren't on the main tour route.
This place is a must-see. The architecture of the historic palace, combined with the modern glass pyramid, creates a striking visual contrast. It was a wonderful experience, made even better by this great audio guide, which I found to be very comprehensive and entertaining. I loved being able to see such iconic masterpieces as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo in person it was breathtaking.
This audioguide is a real gem; it offers a very practical tour that takes you through the Louvre’s most notable works and shares details about the museum that you would have easily overlooked.
I would not recommend this audio tour as it has very limited items that are discussed. it only discussed a few art's prices and areas within the Louvre.
Our card was charged but we never got tickets. We got to the Louvre with conf & res#’s but no ticket. Need refund.
Louvre can be overwhelming. And it was during my first visit. It's huge, it's packed, and you could wander for hours. That’s why I downloaded the audioguide this time. It works offline so I just put my headphones in and followed the route. Best part is that it pointed out stuff I would've walked past. The commentary was gripping with stories, legends and fun facts. Recommend exploring the Louvre with the audioguide
Very poor experience. I booked the tour tickets for 2 amounting to 120 GBP for 1200 hrs. During my way to the venue, I got the message the tour has been cancelled. I then booked another tour immediately for 17 GBP and when I arrived, there was nothing. Completely cheated.
Do not buy this, you have to jump through hoops to get this downloaded and once you do, it turns you around. Lost in translation I decided to just roam about with the museum map. If anything buy the audio guide there instead.
I found the guide very short and not as complete as I hoped. It was difficult to find what he was talking about.
I purchased this smart phone audio tour. I received an email with a link for activation instructions. When clicking the link it did not work. Emailed customer service have not received a response.
The Louvre contains many interesting facts and a very detailed map, which allows you to easily identify the most important exhibitions in the museum. The highlight is seeing the Mona Lisa painting, then for those who want to, there are additional elements to visit, which is a very big advantage of this tour. I highly recommend it to everyone who decides to visit the Louvre, so as not to miss any of the most important exhibits.
This audio guide was extremely helpful during our Louvre visit. The museum is so huge that in order to see all the important marks without spending an entire day there - you need to have a good visit plan. This audio guide accomplished that perfectly. It features a 3D map which makes it a lot easier to navigate through the museum. Each point features a little historical background as well as some interesting trivia. It's prepared very professionally and thoroughly. I recommend this guide to everyone. Also, it's a great alternative for the official museum audio-guide, since it's available in more lanuguages, for instance in Polish - which was not the case for the official Louvre guide.
So much room for improvement. The AI narration was awful. It should also provide guidance on where to walk (head toward the stairs, turn left and head toward…., go up/down the left staircase, etc). Without it the app is useless.
I liked the museum and visit during the Olimpic games in Paris. At that time there are no a lot of peaple in the Louvre and hictory about anciant greek art has been additional point for my Olimpic jornay
Highly recommend this tour! You may need more than one day to cover alll the main exhibits! Please go ahead of time as the lines tend to be long to get in to the museum!
"The TouringBee Louvre audio guide was fantastic! It provided such detailed explanations that it felt like having a personal guide. Made navigating the massive museum so much easier. Highly recommended! - Anna Thompson"
Perfect museum and perfect visit. I liked audioguide and journey suggested. Many engaging information and all main masterpieces are included
The audio guide is very engaging. I appreciated how it highlights the main masterpieces from various sections of the museum, providing a brief introduction to the history of art.
It was not usable, very complicated to install and in the end I couldnt enter the Code. Better buy a audioguide directly at the louvre. It costs the same
We saw Mona Lisa! and many others pictures and sculptures. So informative audioguide and not boring. We soend a good time. Visite was around 3 hours
I could not get the handoff to work between Viator/TouringBee on my iPhone and was not able to get the AG. The steps were unnecessarily complicated for this small service; I had made several other online purchases for other activities in Paris. This gave me the feeling of scam. It would have been better to purchase directly out of the TouringBee app and skip the middleman (but I did not try).
The museum is realy huge. You definetly need a guide. Mobile app is an option, that gives you true independance and some information about art history.
Pros: Not annoying voice (my ''personal beef'' with many AGs), good coverage in terms of important stuff vs not important art and collection (Louvre is HUGE), good amount of useful info, facts, some jokes and dynamics of storytelling, like they there was some attempt to overcome usual inherit boredom of such thing (self guided AG). I liked ancient world portion info. Cons: not all parts equally fun/well flowing (some feels more stale, yet you can skip them in worst case, like some longer history/painter biography parts), I guess there is element of museum changing exposition a bit vs time of recording vs listener movement points. Idk how its avoidable, seen same issues with every AG (even official etc). Overall very reasonable product/experience for its price, with minor issues, if you ok with concept of self guided AG and limitations of format. I bit conflicted on final rating, its more like 4.5-4.7 if tripadvisor allowed more nuanced % evaluation. There is also free stuff in their app too as minor bonus. App itself ok to use.
Very nice guidance, interesting stories with some details how to move in the museum. Great experience!
Dissatisfied without an audio guide.
They showed me only the highlights of the Louvre and the explanation was easy to understand and fun, and I'm glad I used it. Also, the app informed me that the artworks that had been cancelled from the exhibition would be cancelled. If you download it beforehand, you can use it offline in the museum. If you want to restart the Guide app for any reason, you will need to download it again, but you can use the free Wi-Fi in the building to download it. The app is excellent, but GPS won't work or get out of position in the building, so it's useful to get a separate map online.
I strongly advise you to bring an audio guide for a walk around the Louvre, because without it you will either get lost or lose your way and waste your time. We chose this one and didn't regret it. The guide tells interesting stories, makes funny jokes and gives a little historical background, without which it's hard to understand what you're looking at. This is not a tedious lecture, as it sometimes is, but an entertaining story. I advise you.
