Itinerary
Meet your guide just outside the Louvre and head straight for the dedicated group entrance, bypassing the long lines at the main pyramid. After a quick security check, you'll step inside the world's largest art museum to start your visit. Over the next two hours, you'll follow an expert guide on a curated route in a small group, taking advantage of the late-afternoon hours when the crowds begin to thin.
Inside, your guide leads you straight to the icons: Leonardo's Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace at the top of a grand staircase, and the armless Venus de Milo in the Greek halls. You'll hear how the building grew from a medieval fortress into a royal palace and finally a public museum, with insider stories about the artists behind each masterpiece. The small group keeps the pace personal, with room to see every work and ask questions you'd never get to in a packed morning crowd. Your visit wraps up at Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss in the Michelangelo Gallery, when late-afternoon light has the museum at its most peaceful.

Our guide, Victoria was very knowledgeable and made the visit very enjoyable. She gave us so much history of the city, the building and the art, and the artists. She bought the visit to life. Would definitely recommend coming at closing time, as the exhibits were very accessible.
fatah was a great guide. We had a great time. I would recommend this tour to everyone, we learnt so much.
Fetah was very informative and took a great pace for going round the Louvre I learned a lot more than u would have done if you did not have a tour guuden
The tour guide did not show up. We waited from 2:30pm to 3:45. We tried too contact the company from 3:30 no one replied we want a refund. We had to repurchase tickets again. Please contact me assp
Veronica provided a great tour! She was enthusiastic and provided so much information and fun historical facts.
Interesting and very informative. The guide was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone was includex!
This is the second time I’ve been to the Louvre and I’m so glad we booked a tour this time. It was nice to actually learn about the things we saw and have someone to lead us through the maze. Maryam was a great guide, loved what she shared and her jokes.
Our guide had a good knowledge of art. Keep us moving to see many famous pieces with interesting details on each.
Very interesting and well-arranged. Guide Fateh very good. I recommend.
Fetah Merebbah, was a phenomenal tour guide - patient, kind, knowledgeable, and good humored. If looking to book a guided tour of the Louvre, I would highly recommend that it be with him.
I was told I could use a rollator to navigate museum's multi levels by ramps or elevators. When we got there the tour guide advised that there were no elevators or ramps. They also switched our tour from the 13th to the 14th. Very disappointing.
Excellent tour guide. Took time to answer questions and very knowledgeable of paintings in gallery. I would highly recommend him to others.
We had a wonderful tour! Our guide Z took us to all the highlights in the museum, and we learned so much. We could hear all of his great information through the headphone and greatly enjoyed the experience.
The guide was very knowledgeable. He provided a detailed explanation and description of the various artifacts and paintings.
The meeting point, and providing of the hand held units were spot on. Then we were turned over to a different person to guide us through. He had a small since of humor, but he was totally focused on teaching the group all about art. Our group felt as if we were enrolled in art 101.
The tour was excellent and extremely informative! If you book on Friday, the tour is still during operating hours and of course, busy.
Anna was great. Lots of info knew alot about art. Was prompt and had a great personality. Would use this service again
Chose this tour because the crowds around the Mona Lisa are described as lighter at that time of day. We were hoping our niece, who was on the trip with us, would get an unobstructed photo with ML in the background. Wrong. This is the 2nd time we've toured The Louvre. First time was a private tour. I wouldn't recommend one over the other. Both show the same pieces and I'm thinking no matter what time you go, our private tour was early morning, it's always going to be crowded, especially in the ML room. What was different on this tour though was that we got to see where the recent theft of the crown jewels happened and saw the window the thieves came through to pull it off. Sad, but unique and memorable.
With 35,000 works of art, you can’t see it all. Sid did a great job navigating through all the crowds and allowing us to see not just the greatest works of art, but also lesser known works.
Very informative and interesting. You do stand in one place for a long time so if you have problems with standing, beware of that.
Informative tour with knowledgeable guide; children under 18 should bring ID for entry. I’ve visited the Louvre multiple times but having a guide was by far the best visit!
Heline was very knowledgeable, but not overwhelming. The tour was a great fit for our group. I would happily sign up again
A big advantage of the guided tours is the special group entrance that allows you to skip the line and enter the museum very quickly. Our guide Monika was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Her English was excellent and she provided many interesting facts as we visited the highlights of the museum. This was an excellent tour.
The tour of the Louvre Museum was fantastic. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the artwork to life with interesting stories and insights. It made the entire experience better.
Avi was our tour guide and he was wonderful. We enjoyed how he explained things, and his friendliness made us very comfortable as well. He has a vast amount of knowledge that adds to the understanding of the art, especially for my 10 yr old son.
We visited the Louvre at 5 pm with Will. He was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. His tour was like a mini art history class. Highly recommend.
Great to have a tour guide as it was quite busy and she made it easy to get around. She was very informative of the things we saw.
Our guide, Sid, was well versed in French history and knowledgeable about the paintings and sculptures. On top of that he was very funny and can sing well. We got to see the most well known pieces of art without having to stand in line.
Guide was wonderful & very knowledgeable. Disappointed that Tour really wasn’t at closing time since the Museum was open late that night
This two hour tour was a perfect introduction for my twelve year old granddaughter. Our guide Anastasia was very personable, knowledgeable, and engaging.
Guide was informative and helpful. Was able to see the highlights, despite it being very busy. Too much for kids though.
Our guide, Anastasia, was most knowledgeable, had a wonderful personality, and clearly loved what she does. It couldn’t have been more rewarding. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
The guide was great! She was very organized and shared a lot of interesting history and the museum and art.
Too many people on the tour. Took forever to check in, for him to purchase group tickets, get a pass, and store things in a locker for the group. Broken English and I felt that we were chasing the guide through the throngs of people. Museum is hot for August and very crowded. Our guide disappeared at the Mona Lisa and that is where I ended the tour due to frustration and a missing tour guide.
Our tour guide, Cassette, was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and entertaining. She showed us so many important and meaningful pieces of art and shared the history and artistic details so we could truly appreciate them.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the 1.5-hour tour very enjoyable! Our group was small so that was good!
Suburb experience with a highly knowledgeable guide SID! SID made our experience 7 star . Was brilliant in entertaining and engaging our kids with his humor too while having a big history lesson, we felt very lucky to be on such a great tour . Thank you !!
Our Louvre tour with "The Tour Guy" was fantastic, largely thanks to our guide (Joe). His astonishing knowledge of the exhibits, combined with his humor and unique perspectives, truly made our adventure through the Louvre even more wonderful.
The art in the Louvre is magnificent...be prepared for walking and many other art lovers! Our guide Will was excellent - knowledgeable and passionate about art and entertaining!
Much to cover in a short time and Will crushed it!!..Very informative and was able to maneuver our group through the heavy crowds with ease..
Great late afternoon adventure. We came here our first day which was a good introduction to the incessant crowds that you meet everywhere. The skip the libe access and guided your are a must, otherwise you lose perception of what you are experiencing. If you are an art and history lover, you will want a lot more time than this. It was a great way to be introduced to some beautiful pieces, but there is so much to see it is simply overwhelming. Suggest doing at least once.
Wow I was left with my jaw on the floor. Will was an amazing guide & super informative. The louvre is huge & it was amazing to see all the art & especially the Mona Lisa
Hisham was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable and knew his way around very well. He was funny and informative, nice and well-educated. Skipping the line was great, too!
Be aware that the guide may have a heavy accent and muffled voice making understanding what is being said very difficult. My friend who has hearing aids was very frustrated and I did not understand much either. He was rushing also.
The crowds were overwhelming and sometimes frustrating when trying to follow the guide but the headphone system worked very well even when we got separated from the guide. There was still a long line to get in and go through security, but would have been worse if we had gone in alone.
This was a great tour. Even though we didn't enter until 5.40, the crowds were still quite big. However, our guide Nazle made navigating them a breeze and she was able to get us in front of all the pieces, especially the Mona Lisa . Her knowledge was exceptional and she really explained everything well. Glad we stayed with her till the end, as we were able to see the Venus d Milo and the Sphinx without any crowds. Thankyou Nazle for this.
Our tour guide made the whole experience wonderful! Showing us so much more than if we had wandered around ourselves. So happy we took the tour, thank you! Highly recommend
A little rushed on the expressed tour our tour guide Tina was amazing and very informative. If you want to go to gift shop go on earlier tour
Wei was a great guide. He knows so much and made the tour so interesting for us. The 5:30 time was perfect as the busy time had gone meaning we got to see everything on the tour without long queues or big crowds. The Louvre is an amazing place to visit and this tour the perfect way to see all the ‘major’ attractions and get the extra benefit of the guides wonderful knowledge.
