We were suposed to have a guide in spanish but we ended up with one in english, with only an audioguide as an alternative. My parent were frustrated and so was I and my sister. The guide was nice and kind but we didn’t understand most of what he said. It made the whole experience unsatisfactory.

Itinerary
Start your tour in the center of Paris where your guide awaits, eager to impart their extensive art history knowledge. Your tour strats at the meeting point, Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel, facing the Louvre Pyramid, it commemorates the victory of Napoleon I at the Battle of Austerlitz.
Want an in-depth description of the Louvre’s most famous pieces? This is the tour for you! The Louvre, formerly a royal palace, has become the world’s largest museums. You will discover the museum’s most famous works: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace... Learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Da Vinci and his illustrious Mona Lisa. Then turn your attention to the 18-foot tall Victory of Samothrace, one of the world’s most renowned sculptures. Now you’re on a cultural roll, and can’t wait to hear about the Venus de Milo, your second armless sculpture of the day.
Enjoy the view of one of the most typical "jardin à la française"
If option "+ Musée d'Orsay" selected : We only provide the admission ticket; the duration of your visit is entirely up to you. It is not a guided tour of the museum. You will visit the Musee d'Orsay on your own. Step inside the Musée d'Orsay, a stunning former railway station on the Seine, home to world-famous Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, and Degas. Marvel at the grand clock, soaring glass ceilings, and beautifully preserved Belle Époque architecture while exploring an unparalleled collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts from 1848 to 1914. A must-visit for art lovers and anyone wanting a true taste of Parisian culture.

Nice way to visit and not miss out on the details vs walking around aimlessly. The tour was thoughtful and fun
If I could give 0 stars I would. We paid more than $300 USD for this tour and arrived prior to the tour start time but couldn't find our guide. Reached out 30 min prior to the operator of the tour and they were no help getting us together with the guide. They would not allow the guide to reach out to us or us to them. This was the worst part of our trip by far!!!!! We requested a refund and the operator refused. We called Viator who assured me they were on the side of the customer and would refund if the client refused to and now they have refused to refund us. No concern or care for the customer. We will NEVER use Viator again and I strongly encourage anyone reading this review not to either...unless you like being screwed out if the money you worked so hard for.
An “express” tour of the louvre to get you to the Mona Lisa and a few others as fast as possible. As we were short on time, I appreciated this (and we knew this going in). If you have more time/want to really appreciate more of the art or get more art history, this is not the tour for you. But you can stay after the tour to look on your own (which we did).
The guide never showed up and I tried chatting with a rep but she was unhelpful. All we received was a barcode that didn't work. The app didn't let you download tickets. We wasted an afternoon in Paris by not being able to get into the Louvre and not getting any help from Headout. I emailed and asked for a refund but I haven't heard back. DO NOT USE.
The host was very knowledgeable. She made the experience fun and entertaining, and managed to keep us all together in a crowded environment. She gave us opportunities to stay with images.
There wasn’t enough time to get to the front of line to see the Mona Lisa! Also there were so many people there so you really had to focus and keep up with the guide!
Not well organized and the time with the guide is brief. Save your money and just buy a ticket and use the map
It was advertised as a 2-3 hour tour and the guide was with us for approximately an hour. He was good but also was not told he was to do a 2-3 hour tour as he had another group.
We had a very knowledgeable guide who gave us a wonderful tour. So glad we took this tour. We would not have gotten through all that we did in the 2 hours we were there.
The place is so big that without a good guide it would be impossible to be easy to get completely lost. We had a great tour guide and we were able to see the main attractions.
Easy to find, went straight to Mona Lisa, bypassed long lines, easy access to museum and would highly recommend. We spent hours in the museum. It’s beautiful.
We got to the meet point 5 minutes late and they left without us. I tried using the Viator text system to tell the tour guide we were going to be a little late but no response. Paris traffic delayed us. Out of our control. The phone number did not work as well. $180 US gone.
Nice overview of the Louvre Museum. Mathis was very knowledgeable and showed us lots of fine pieces of Art. The Mona Lisa was the finale as I have heard about her most of my life.
Mathis, the guide was knowledgeable & I learned stuff. I rate Mathis a 5 star. BUT THE EQUIPMENT WAS AWFUL. I had to change out twice and others complained too I had to listen to static constantly and connectivity was in consistent.
Overwhelming, be prepared to see and experience 4000 + years of art. Guide was efficient and very knowledgeable about the art pieces and artists. When we wonder on your own ask for directions back to the arch.
The guide, Anne, was not good at all, did not explain ANYTHING, rushed to finish the tour. I feel it was a complete waste of money, would not recommend.
False advertisement , the duration of the tour less than 1 hour. Tour guy not informative and in top of all i choose English speaking and most of the tour was in spanish. i paid for a 2 hour tour and viator is refusing to issue a credit back... when i complained they told me I need to contact viator or called a # in France.
The guide was very nice although did walk a little fast for a few in our group. However, the tour was advertised as 2-3 hours but lasted 50 minutes, including a group bathroom break. It would have been helpful to be given a map as the tour ended outside the room with the Mona Lisa and we didn’t know where to go next.
Andrea was amazing! Meeting point was easy to find. She explained all the works so well. Highly recommend
Don’t waste time looking at maps and your phone! Enjoy this guided tour!! We had a great guide and the tour was informative and stress free
The walking tour is approximately 2 1/2 hours long, but there are lots of opportunities to stop and observe the artwork. It actually felt like it went pretty quickly. The tour was well curated, and we saw all the highlights. It is a must see if you visit Paris. Remi was our tour guide and he was charming, knowledgeable, entertaining, and very educational, but in a good way. He was perfect for the job because he’s animated and very easy to understand. He made the whole 2 1/2 hours flyby.
I booked this activity for my dad & I. We got to the described meeting location and could not find the group. I attempted to call, text, and WhatsApp message the company, asking for help finding the group. AFTER the tour started (and 20 minutes after my last contact attempt), someone responded. I explained the situation and was told that we could not participate. Despite the fact that we arrived on time (although true, we had trouble locating the guide). I asked if the guide could retrieve my dad and I at the museum entrance - told no. I asked if the tickets could be sent to me so that we could enter the museum and would do a self-guided visit - told no. Asked for a refund - told no. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to be refunded. And we weren't able to visit the Louvre because tickets were sold out for the rest of our visit. Extremely poor customer service all around and terrible communication.
The guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and gave us a good path to see as much of the louvre as possible.
Very good experience, guide was excellent, I would recommend highly. Without a guide would be crazy at the Louve, so big.
There was a long wait before the group got to begin the Louvre tour and the queue to go through security was longer than I expected after the wait outside in the 30+ degree heat. The walk through the old Louvre fortress was brilliant but overshadowed by the excessively busy museum itself. The guilde was knowledgeable and showed us the highlights after which we were glad to get out of the Louvre probably won’t go back for another decade maybe in winter. Our unguided tour of the Musee d’Orsay was amazing.
Today was boiling hot , our tour was very good, very informative and knowledgeable. The artwork was amazing, difficult to see the Mona Lisa but did get a far away look.Merci
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed the tour very much. I would recommend a tour like this to see the Louvre since it is such a big museum.
The meeting point was not clear at all. There were many agents at the same location, which made it very confusing. I bought the tickets one hour before the tour, but when we arrived, they did not have my name on the list. We called the Viator emergency/contact number around 10 times, but no one answered. We also sent messages and received no response. Even the agent at the meeting point could not reach anyone and mentioned that they had been having these kinds of problems. Overall, it was an awful and very frustrating experience.
Do NOT book with these folks. Horrible business. They completely ruined my honeymoon vacation. We booked for a 430pm tour of Louvre with them through Viator and they never showed up. They then gaslight into thinking that we never booked when I texted them on WhatsApp the confirmation and screenshots of my booking. They were super rude on the phone about the situation when THEY were the ones who never showed up for our tour. They took our money.
Victoria was fantastic! I loved seeing the famous items but I enjoyed that she showed us her favorite as well. Very informative and interesting. She also made the tour entertaining. Top marks to her!!!!!
Great guide. We will able to negotiate the crowds effectively and see all we wanted to see. Be prepared to walk at a quick pace.
Overall was good. Will be better if we have longer time for the Mona Lisa portrait as that is the main highlight of the tour. Only 10 mins given and people infront don’t really move fast. We were only half way the group when the time is up. Not much chance to look into the detail of the painting.
This is the way to tour the Louvre! Our guide, Mathis was very, very knowledgeable. Thanks for an incredible experience
Our guide was very knowledgeable and efficiently helped us to navigate the crowds and still see all of the highlights of the museum. She provided a good historical perspective regarding the artifacts.
Instant access and a direct walk to the Mona Lisa, the Louve was amazing. The Mona Lisa not so much., in my opinion. My suggestion, if you have the time book tickets ahead of time and save yourself a bunch of money. For last-minute tickets and easy access, great company.
In spite of the general assembly that delayed the opening by an hour, it was a wonderful experience.
We were left behind in the pouring rain We arrived at the meeting point 2 minutes late due to the weather conditions The area was so crowded with people trying to get out of the rain that we couldn’t find our tour guide We immediately called the # listed on the booking and they said they couldn’t help us we tried to find the tour inside the entrance to the Louvre but did see any group with the red flag as we were told This was a terrible experience and the we will be sure to post our horrible experience and are demanding a refund I have a copy of my phone log indicating the time and # of times we tried to reach the company and the tour guide
Loved the times entry, skip the line access, and a tour guide taking us to highlighted areas. However, this tour misleading in the description it stated that the Musem Orsay was included, but it wasn’t. Here is the description- Louvre timed entry: Guided, hosted or hosted plus Musee D’Orsay. Why is the Musee D’Orsay even included in the description if it was not part of the tour.?? Frustrated Viator user.
The tour guide was relatively new but very well versed in the Louvre and it's history . Would recommend her again.
It was great experience. Well organized and informative. Alexander was our guide and she did a great job.
I had such an amazing experience at the Paris City Vision Guided Lourve Tour. Our tour guide was Remi, he was PHENOMENAL. He was so sweet, so knowledgeable, and made the tour continuously fun and exciting. I would 10/10 recommend this tour again especially with Remi!
It was good as far as the list of items to visit and see. However, it was difficult getting through the large number of people and getting time to take enough pictures and of course it was difficult to get good shots of pictures around all the visitors but that was not the fault of the guide.
We visitor The Louvre on Good Friday. When we walked up we were shocked at the crowds and lines. However, the meeting location was outside and very easy to find and helped us avoid all the lines and crowds trying to get in. The tour guide explained everything to us before we went inside. He guided us to a special entrance past the long lines and we breezed through the entry point. He explained everything we saw during the tour. This is the only way to visit the Louvre. Worth every penny!
A good way to see the highlights of the Louvre quickly and avoid most of the crowds. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.
I purchased these tickets with the escort straight to the Mona Lisa option. When we arrived to check in the guide started passing out audio guides. I explained that what we purchased was not a guide but rather an escort straight to the Mona Lisa (to avoid crowds and get good pictures before it got busy). She informed me that she was giving a tour and would eventually get to the Mona Lisa after about an hour into her tour. I kept trying to explain that we paid a lot of money for tickets straight to the ML but the tour guide was not budging. When we finally arrived to the ML in our tour the room was super crowded and we of course did not get the experience we wanted and paid for. If you are booking the tour DO NOT choose the escort to ML option because that is not what you will get.
Francois was excellent! He was very nice and welcoming to everyone.
Francois was wonderful! We covered all kinds of displays within 2 hours. Did not miss anything important! Thank you!!
This was a 5 star experience! From checking in, to entering and our guide Remi was nothing short of spectacular! Our daughter had additional needs and needed to use the elevator. He assisted with this with ease! He was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept the tour moving. I would 100% recommend this tour! Thank you Remi!
Francois did a great tour in English. He gave us a lot of in-depth information about the louvre and the artworks. He’s very knowledgeable.
