Nick was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the artifacts and pieces of art throughout the Louvre, including minor pieces ones I came across and wondered about. He also was so good at keeping the kids engaged and interested. We are so glad we did this tour. There’s truly no other way to see the Louvre with two impatient young kids. They loved it and we saw areas of the museum we’d never have known to visit otherwise.
We had an awesome time during the tour. We had VIP access into everything. We were able to skip lines. We were able to take private elevators. Our guide was a true professional. He knew how to tailor the experience so that not only the adults loved it, but the kids loved it as well. There was a fun game that we played and we had an amazing time getting just enough of the Louvre without it being too much. Truly an amazing experience. I could not recommend it enough.

We had a great experience with our tour guide. I had my 11 year old son and my 25 year old daughter and he had us all engaged with his treasure hunt tour design. Oh and we skipped the crazy lines and wove through the crowds of the Louvre which was huge!!
Nick did a fantastic job showing our family including our 7 and 9 year old kids through the Louvre. He knew how to capture and maintain the kids’ attention and was very willing to customize the tour to our interests and time restraints. The Louvre can be overwhelming but this tour with our guide Nick was fun, fascinating and truly memorable. Our 9 year old daughter loved the scavenger hunt while learning about the art highlights. We hit all the famous works of art and saw others along the way. The crowds were out in full force but Nick gave us headphones so we never had trouble hearing him. He knew his way around and all the secrets to getting up close to the art so we felt like we were able to see everything. Lots of surprises along the way made the time fly and we felt like we saw all we needed to. Highly recommend this tour if you have kids and don't want to be overwhelmed!
This tour was beyond exceptional… It was my 10 year old’s first experience with the Louvre, and I realize it could be overwhelming. Nick, our guide, was amazing and engaged. He kept her completely interested and paced with her level and interest . He was supportive with her comments. We walked away wholly satisfied, best time I’ve had at the Louvre! Nick was our guide for the Da Vinci exhibit and he was terrific. He was very knowledgable about the exhibit but was open to discussions about the particular topics that we were interested in the most. The exhibit was very crowded but he did a great job communicating with us while navigating the crowd throughout. We would definitely contact Nick in Paris on our next trip to add his insights and knowledge to other venues of interest.
The Da Vinci exhibition was outstanding. Well thought out and organized. And Nick from NickinParis was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, he zeroed in on my interests and made sure to highlight them. A must see.
We were concerned that this tour was expensive, but it was wonderful to see this one of a kind exhibition that was sold-out for the dates we were to be in Paris. The pieces in the exhibit are so varied (no sculptures) and our favorites were the room where the papers were on display and of course La Scapigliata. There is a lot of art displayed that is not the work of Leonardo. There were pieces by his students and artists that influenced him, so having the guide to explain why the pieces were included was very valuable. Our guide Afsaneh was wonderful. She was not only knowledgeable about the art/artist, but was excited about the exhibit even after having seen it many times. She whisked us through all of the things, like where to put our coats and which line to stand in so there was no wasted time. We went on the 9:30 tour and were glad. The museum and exhibit were very crowded by the time we were finished.
Once in a lifetime experience! Very glad we did this tour. Our guide Nick was knowledgeable, articulate and had good communication skills. He provided us with an earphone attached to a receiver and he was speaking through a small microphone. The da Vinci exhibition was a bit crowded so the earphone was very helpful. The ticket for a private tour was pricy but worth every penny. No waiting in line. Nick was fabulous!
Nick was a fantastic guide to the da Vinci show at the Louvre. He provides headsets so his voice is privately in your ear as you move through the exhibition. Nick brings Leonardo alive 3-dimensionally, so you can feel the genious’s life choices, artistic work, scientific explorations and financial pressures all at once. Brilliant subject, brilliant guide.
The exhibition could be really interesting if we were be able to see it in good conditions as there was a crowd inside every room. So the organisation should have limited the number of people going in every scheduled time.
Very nice and well educated gentleman. Very professional and helpful, the Louvre was closed due to protests but he managed to exchange the tickets and pushed the tour to the next morning.

Nick was at the meeting spot on time, and ready to go. He did a great job selecting important works to discuss at the Louvre which was fairly crowded as expected during Christmas week. He made a special effort to send some additional reading material for us regarding one of the paintings we had a special interest in as well. I would highly recommend him for a guided tour in Paris.

da Vinci is presented in great format. The exhibit draws from a vast base of drawings, paintings, and notes. The show draws on the evolution of his art but weaves in the sciences—mathematics, anatomy, astronomy and medicine. Our tour one-on-two guide, Nick, was highly knowledgeable and easily engaged in discussions regarding specific questions. As an art historian and medical student we appreciated his guidance. Excellent!
We came to Paris specifically to see this exhibition and realized that we had waited too long to get tickets for the DaVinci exhibit. Happily, we found Nick and we are so fortunate they we did. The experience was 10 X better for having him as our guide. He speaks multiple languages, is engaging, smart, kind and and all around great guy. We kept his card and will absolutely use him as our guide every time we come to Paris. Call him! You won’t regret it!

Leonardo da Vinci, Italian genius, the French changed his name to Leonard de Vinci. The exhibition has no booklet or captions in Italian and the audio guides are only in French and English. The material on display is largely on loan from Italian museums and yet everything is Frenchified. I do not recommend Italians to visit the exhibition
We wanted to visit the Louvre and took advantage of Leonardo da Vinci’s exhibition to do so. We do not regret because the exhibition is magnificent like every part of the Louvre. Only downside, we would have liked a little more room to Leonard the inventor because not a single invention of presentation except his sketches and studies. Other than that, no regrets!
When I got there at 9:00 with a skip-the-line ticket, I went home immediately. We enjoy a first hour without too much rush. The exhibition is exciting. We discover exceptional works. Very intelligent, scenography allows us to better understand works that we thought we knew - thanks to infrared reflectography in particular. Many magnificent works of his teachers and students. Not to be missed.
