The museum for portion was canceled because of strikes. I still have not been refunded through Viator. I am supposed to receive a 20% refund. I have been waiting more than two weeks.
Fantastic overview of Louvre highlights. Our guide, Hugo, was so informative, engaging and funny! I wish we’d had more time in Paris because I could have stayed all day in the museum after the actual tour.
Booked/arrived/moved to two lines/then to third line/only to be told the tour was cancelled/as line of people for a 10:30 tour entered. Once in the third line and on the phone with viator operator. Neither could explain way we were cancelled and tours were still going on before and during our scheduled/ticket purchased time. Saying possibly because of protesters, but see others enter for tour was not acceptable. After planning and paying for transportation to arrive for the tour, only to be rejected/denied was heartbreaking. Was asked if wanted refund or reschedule for the next day, but travel time didn’t permit. Of all the great things to do and see in Paris, this was one of the greater let downs. The lack of clear understanding and communication amongst tour related individuals is the reason for the low score.
Hugo was fantastic, his energy was very Parisian and his art storytelling was immersive. At one point he took us to see his favorite panting, which also happened to be his grandmother’s favorite painting, and I could notice a moment where he got emotional while telling us about the paining. It was a very nice tour, definitely recommend it.

This was a really fantastic tour. It was our first time at the Louvre and our tour guide Adam was AMAZING. He was super fun and so personable and we learned a ton from him about the different art we saw. He also made sure to give us some background on pieces as we walked by them not just the main highlights which we really appreciated. Adam is an absolutely fantastic guide and next we would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a really in depth tour of the louvre.

This was a great tour to get the highlights of the Louvre! We learned about the history and saw the Mona Lisa, and the Venus of Mylos statue, and Goddess of Victory statue, among others. I have toured the Louvre 3 other times and this was by far the best tour I have taken. Our guide Antoine was knowledgeable, interesting and accommodating. We were able to truly enjoy the highlights of the Louvre in a relatively uncrowded manner. I would highly recommend Viator to others.

Wow! Going through the Louvre is so crazy - even though we expected that, once you’re in there, it really is something else! We loved the line skipping associated with the tour for sure. We are happy we went with this team. Jonny was a tour guide, and he was outstanding! He shared so much expertise and shared so many stories and so much insight. And, his lead to Mona Lisa was so good and helpful! We’d use this team again for sure!
The Louvre can be fairly overwhelming with a lot of people there, so having Juan Carlos to assist us with both his humor and expertise was a great experience! We got to see and understand a lot of the larger/more famous pieces, which I appreciated. Juan Carlos also waited a bit past the 10:30 arrival, although we were early just incase. So I would ensure you're on time, I believe each tour guide is different in that instance. Be sure to bring a portable fan as it does get hot in the Louvre.

Our tour guide Adam was AMAZING! His love for the arts and his knowledge on science created the best experience and most educational tour. He is a true gem and not only relates to the painting but connects the tourist life to the paintings as-well. The entire time I stayed interested in his teachings, I would 100 percent recommend him as a tour guide if I could. It didn’t feel like a tour it felt like my French friend was showing us the worlds greatest museum!

A guided tour was the best choice for our first visit. With 30,000 visitors on any given day the Louvre can be overwhelming. Our guide was exceptional regarding her knowledge of the history of the site and the exhibits! We never felt rushed and it was a relief that someone else was leading the way. We saw everything we had wanted to see and at the end she pointed us in the direction of one other painting we were hoping to admire.
